The wine bar is charming, but there is a lack of attention to detail in maintaining current wine and food menus. The last 3 times I have been in they did not have any of the wines listed on the menu, and modified food choices due to lack of certain ingredients. The decor and ambiance is casual, yet upscale and they serve many interesting wines - blending together old world and new world wines on their menu. In addition to serving wine to enjoy, you can purchase bottles and cases to go. The wine bar also features a diverse food menu. Let me start by saying that the wine selection was pretty awesome. Selection was great and we enjoyed the bottle of wine we had. We asked about the flight options, as we had seen them online, and were wanting to order a red and white flight to share. We were told they were unable to do the flights because they were out of the specific wines curated for those specific flights. We were taken back when the table next to us received a red flight and a white flight. There must have been a shocked look on our faces because our server felt the need to approach us and apologize and she blamed the owner, claiming the owner told her not to serve flights because they were going to be busy. We ordered from their tapas menu. We got the artichoke dip, tri tip panini, and charcuterie board. Artichoke dip: tasted great. Came with a mix of stale tortilla strips and Stacy's pita chips but weird assortment 95% tortilla and 5% pita. Tri tip panini: taste was okay, did not receive 50% of the listed items on the sandwich. Charcuterie board: we did not receive it. Cannot comment on taste. We waited approximately 45 minutes to an hour for the charcuterie board. Our server asked us twice if we were still waiting on said charcuterie board and we said yes. In the end we asked to cancel the order for charcuterie because several other people received theirs first (they ordered after us). The live music was good and the patrons were very nice and friendly. It seems as if though this could have been a one off but I will most likely not be eating there again. Also, being lied to by a server is not the greatest look on the part of the business. ---------------------------------------------- Update: The owner reached out and apologized for the service we experienced. We decided to give it another try. This time we only went for wine and skipped the food. The wine we wanted wasn't available but she offered a red blend which they had on tap. The wine was excellent and the friendly service changed this previous 1 star review to a 4. The views from the patio were awesome during sunset and it is a very nice place to enjoy wine and watch the sunset. Big shout out to the owner for being so kind and reaching out. I think this whole shopping center is wonderful. Having learned of Zephyr Wines I added it to my list of places to try out. I suggested to a friend to have wine here and go for pizza nearby- little did I know they had a great menu of small plates items. I was excited to try the brie grilled cheese. I did notice that the online menu differs from what is currently offered. This I learned by seeing there were dessert wines online and upon asking and checking out the menu they were not included. I was suggested one of the white wines to be of the more sweeter type and did enjoy the glass. To our surprise there was a singer that resembled the voice of Adele which added to the experience. I think the plates are great but would suggest ordering a couple given they are tapas serving portions. I even noticed there was a large group gathering in the back of the wine bar, which was helpful to note as the ambiance is very sleek. First let me say that their wine by the glass options are varied both in varietals and regions- that's a huge plus! Also the gentleman that helped us was both knowledgeable and personable. I guess what didn't do it for me was the space. It's too big and sparsely decorated to feel warm and inviting. While I would definitely meet someone there for a glass of wine, I wouldn't go out of my way to arrange a visit. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed, just that I'm not really impressed. I'm sure, being so new, that they are still making adjustments and changes and I look forward to hearing good things in the future. read more

The food is good but very, very expensive for what you get. We ordered a goat cheese salad that had maybe 4 pieces of lettuce for $16.00. I mean, it was TINY. We even mentioned it to the server who just shrugged and nodded. The meatballs were nice - 3 of them at $6 each. The wine choices are nice and the atmosphere is nice. I have been here three times and last night was the first time I sat on the patio - ugh it wasn't a great experience. We ordered a bottle of cab - $80. The friendly server brought out plastic wine glasses and when I asked her about real glass she shared with me that glasses break and dogs paws get cut but if it was a big deal, she would bring them to me. I passed, don't want to be responsible for something like that! When she left I realized my water was poured into a real glass, and most of the patio was drinking with real glasses. So I enjoy my $80 bottle of wine in a plastic glass and my tap water in a real glass- logical of course. We were seated in front of one of two patio doors and the servers continued to use the door behind our chairs, bumping into our table over and over again when there was clearly a second door free of any tables and chairs. I can see how wine glasses get broke here (insert eye roll). The toughest part about this experience for me were the children running and screaming all over the patio. I'm all for family friendly, but this is a bar on a Friday evening --- I know the establishment can't do much about that without upsetting customers, but if I had wanted to play with other people's children, I would have gone next door to longboards pizza. read more

We were on our way to dinner and decided to stop at the Zephyr Wine bar for a pre dinner drink. What a great decision! Our server Hannah was friendly and attentive. Her suggestions were perfect, giving us an opportunity to try a few wines which we weren't familiar. Next thing we know, we were ordering food and decided to dine here. We had the cheese platter, hummus and the artichoke jalapeño dip. The food was flavorful and filling. We were fortunate to sit on the outside patio and enjoy the sunset. Kelly, one of Hannah's colleagues came out to assist, and she was so nice to us! We really enjoyed the evening and the wonderful staff ! I've been in the service industry for about 15yrs. Overpriced food doesn't bother me UNLESS it's absolutely shit food that the business is presenting as a seasonally sourced elevated menu. There is nothing I hate more when a restaurant presents themselves as one that takes culinary pride in their production and then serves something that I could have made in the middle of the night in an ambien black out. We just spent $225 on what I would call the most disappointing food purchase I've made in a long time. I could have went to lone eagle, cheeseboard, rosewood, grafted, and two other places bought a cheese board at each for less than what I paid here. You cannot serve three meatballs and charge $20. You can not sell two empanadas half the size of one real empanadas and charge $20 then serve it with chips and salsa you didn't even make in house. Short rib sliders on Hawaiian rolls?! With a food pick that has the stupid plastic tassel that grandma uses. I never knew short rib to have pulled pork consistency but they made sure to disguise that with a sauce that destroyed your tastebuds so that whatever was consumed next would be slightly better. This isn't to be mean. I genuinely love food. A lot. I travel all over chasing food. The space is pretty and the location is solid but the price gauging of lazy executed food will lead to a downward spiral of restaurant death. Please care about what you're doing. Every detail does matter. Try executing on two things before 10. Your food cost is well covered with your wine pricing don't take it out on your guests. Oh and a couple really good French wines could help as well. read more
