Two fantastic guitar players/singers on a Friday night!

Top notch happy hour ambiance, love music, superb brick oven pizza, and service. This is my second time coming this time with a girlfriend/coworker earlier. I've come with my husband before and exactly the same fantastic service, music and food! So close to Mt Rose Hwy and hiking in mountain biking

    Cookie decorating and espresso martini.

Friendliest staff and amazing atmosphere! Such a great stop on your way down from the mountain. They even host great events like cookie decorating

This was a fun experience with friends. We went to listen to some live music and enjoy food and drink. The place is small inside but comfy with a couch area and lots of high tables. There's also an outdoor patio area. They also offer a variety of food options. In the mornings they have breakfast items as well. Beautiful views and great entertainment. The staff were friendly. Our pizza came out a little burnt and they brought it out to show us. They gave us that pizza for free and went back to remake the pizza. I thought that was great service. I'd go back to check out more live entertainment and just to experience the location during the day.

What a wonderful place to stop on your way back to Reno from a day on the mountain or at the lake! The cocktail and mocktail list is amazing and they offer excellent teas too! Be sure to stop in for a relaxing end to an adventures day!

I love stopping here after hikes to warm up with some coffee or hot chocolate. The place is cozy and the service is always great!! My favorite spot is by the big window, overlooking the forest.

What a great place to stop on the way back from a Mt Rose or Tahoe expedition! After snow shoeing all day, we stopped at the lodge bar & patio for beers, wine, coffee, chips / dip and chili. The service is friendly, personable and professional l. The place is cozy, comfortable and spacious. The view is great!

Cozy little spot right along the Mt Rose highway, perfect for apres ski or just to take in some snow without having to drive outside of Reno. I especially love sitting by the fire. The space is larger than it looks, with a patio for the warmer months. They serve everything from coffee to draft beer to warm cocktails. The wine offer is fairly extensive, with the option to buy and enjoy a bottle! The staff are welcoming, especially to [well-behaved] dogs! I haven't eaten any of the food there, but they don't have a kitchen so I think it's bought in bulk and warmed/prepared behind the bar. I believe they have regular events including live music, maybe trivia? It's worth the stop.

Love the location, especially during the Winter. We came after work to grab a couple of beers and enjoy the Winter scenery. The bar has that cozy, relaxing vibe and the bartenders do make you feel welcomed. They do have a good selection on beer, but didn't get a chance to try the food. If you're going to Tahoe, or traveling into Reno, I recommend making a stop!

We love the Lodge! The food is good! The drinks are great! And we love that they are truly community minded. Whether it be hanging signs promoting Sky Tavern, participating in the Pioneer Center's Broadway at the Bars or supporting other groups with a kickback from a menu item they definitely do their part. Also the location is beautiful. I can't wait to sit outside on their deck in the summer!

Came for Sunday morning yoga and mimosas and was absolutely delighted. Although I love myself an apres ski I had never before had the opportunity to visit The Lodge Bar and Patio. All that changes now! The patio is nestled in the trees just of Mount Rose Highway. They have wines, charcuterie, and pizzas. A coworker and I decided to join for the yoga which was a fantastic hour long class and included what turned out to be bottomless mimosas. We stayed for about 2 hours after the class and had perfectly pleasant morning. The staff are kind and answer all your questions. There was also a makers mart while we were there so I also got some tasty salsa macha! Ps I saw a puppy on the patio so guess who is coming next time, fig! (Although her yoga form needs work).

Remember it all started here! Dakota Weiss at the Lodge.. Tonight, Nashville Tennessee was in Galena forest!

Carly and the crew embrace hospitality every time... love, respect, service and ambience!

Look at that orange pinwheel! Sweet & delicious too!

Beautiful views but service is lacking on this Fri evening. It's hot out and business is slow: music is inside where it's too loud (3 tables w/customers inside 2-4 people at bar) and 3 couples on patio with no service! Been here 1.5 hours and no follow up. Appears to be 4 servers so not sure of why service is so unavailable....a glass of cold water or another Chardonnay would be great.... Whoohoo! 1.5 hours later a gal appears! I ask for a glass of water and bill and am told have to go inside! Maybe not the place for single gals as a couple just cashed out outside.... Númerous insects outdoors... Aaaand a HH glass of Chardonnay is $11! Sorry, guess I won't be returning and too bad as it's in the n'hood but I'm not a Montreux resident just an old time Reno gal. UPDATE: called The Lodge today as no one replied to my im from last night on their FB page and it turns out their 'happy hour' is $2 off a glass of $13 wine. Not quite my kind of HH, so guess Reno has definitely become the new Calif in overpriced everything. Too bad as it was a 2 min drive from my house, but I'm a Reno native and no longer feel welcome to be able to afford things in my own backyard

    Beautiful bottle of tequila.

Excellent down to earth service. They're super easy to talk to, and nice. Employees take their job seriously and are respectful. I've gotten coffee here twice, it's high quality. They have good craft cocktails, beer on tap, and yummy foods. I got a panini here a while back and it was delicious. They have live music events here often. There's an art gallery in the back too. This is a chill place to go after a hike or just when you have free time. Beautiful views. :-)

This wine bar has a variety of wine from all around the world. Some expected wines from France and California, but also some more obscure ones from places such as Austria, so there is something for every taste! You can both order a wine by the glass or buy a bottle, which they will open for you to have onsite and that you can also take home if you don't finish it. Their prices are fair for a bottle and I wish I had done that instead of ordering a glass. The service was great! We had a huge group, yet the server was super patient and provided great recommendations to everyone. She was running around the whole time to take care of us and other patrons, but always did it with a smile on her face. I never felt rushed. They have limited snack options for purchase but allow you to bring in your own snacks as well. Finally, the space. It is on the smaller size but we were able to fit our group in without issues, while still leaving some open tables for other patrons. They also provide service on a handful of outdoor tables. The only minor issue is they had live music which felt quite loud in such a small place, but when asked, they were able to lower the volume a bit which was very nice of them!
