So, it seems they too hated the "stand in an unorganized mass" ordering process. Put up guide ropes, WITH an area for slow readers to stand and mouth through the menu so they don't back up the line. All the food is still great. The crazy drinks are killer. (cucumber lime aid, hell yes) And there's small paper menus around for the really really indecisive people to study. I said I'd up my rating if they worked on the crowd problem, so there ya go. (Then again, I think I'd marry half the women who work there, sooooo I might be biased. lol) I still avoid the super busy hours, simply bc parents are largely useless idiots who let their special little angels scream and run around like they own the place. It took me a little while to try this place, as it's pretty hot and new, but I'm glad I did. Every single time we drive by, there is literally a line out the door. I just wasn't desperate enough to stand in the summer heat. One lucky day.... no line! Honestly, when I saw them putting this place in, I thought they would have ice cream. Although the name was deceiving, I loved what they served. So many drinks that I had s hard time choosing. The staff was helpful and offered up recommendations upon request. I went for the Lychee Crush, which had scrumptious lychee, strawberry and chia seed. It was absolutely amazing, and I understand what all the hype and lines were for. On top of a large drink menu, they have food. I did t try anything, but got a chance to oodle all the goods as they passed by my eyes and nose. I really enjoyed the mangonada and the watermelon slush. It's real fruit and real delicious! Get the mango twist-you won't regret it. My only complaint about this place is it's so small and the line is so long. When it's crowded there is no place to wait for your drink and the line is out the door. I've been to this place twice. once in its first week of opening and the 2nd was months after to see if they had worked out the kinks. they did not lol. but none the less i still love this place. i love basically this asian mexican fusion of drinks and food offerings. while i think this place is a bit on the pricey side, its forgivable, the long wait times are not. the system just needs to be better? the ordering and the assembly line of making the drinks. it leaves a lot of people standing around not doing anything which makes people frustrated because they think they arent working, but it doesn't take 6 people to make drinks, but the moment someone says their drink it should be started or half started or something. it just takes too long for a drink order to come out. it made me not want to waste my lunch on it as i work nearby. I'm not sure about the online ordering of it yet but if that is implemented and i can just wait a lot of time for my drink to get done instead of in store id love it more. i have yet to try any of the food but you cant really mess up what is essentially elotes with hot cheetos lol. read more

I found this place on my way to Torchy tacos and decided to try it instead. I had the chicken bites and fries. The chicken was really fresh and had a good flavor. I tried the butter garlic one and my wife also loved them. I got the cheese fries with the hot Cheetos and it was pretty good as well. The best thing about my visit was the Mangonana and the Watermelon slush! Jesus they are good. I've been back twice but just for the drinks. The spicy watermelon is good as well. Update: I haven't been here for awhile with covid and all but I had a craving for some boba milk tea. I had just come from my barber shop where I normally tip $4-$5 on my $18 haircut. He did a good job and spent what seemed like 30 minutes + giving me a haircut. I paid cash and wasn't prompted by some computer terminal on how much I wanted to tip which brings me to a little beef with this Zero outfit. I ordered a single boba milk tea and the girl twirls around the monitor where I'm shamed into tipping $1-$2-$5 or more for a $5 drink. Yep, the minimum option is a 20% tip on a drink that takes 2 minutes to make if it's not busy. They turn that tip screen around with the clerk looking straight in my face and I have to figure out what to do on the fly. Of course I could click no tip which was probably a smaller icon but I felt like I'm being judged. My tip was treated like it was just another boba bubble add on with no thanks (unlike my barber) which next time will not happen. I'll just go to the nearby Starbucks where they don't do that practice. As far as the milk tea goes it was good as in not spectacular and not bad. My cup was nearly half filled with ice which is a turn off and an arguably smaller than normal amount of boba. I would suggest mentioning no ice or light on the ice if you order a bubble tea. Interesting in concept but not quite there in the execution. We got the lunch special with garlic noodles and shrimp and a split cup of lychee crush and matcha milk. Drink was fine - would order again but noodles were too salty. The shrimp looked good but had no distinct flavoring and the meat was complete mush. Also ordered a side of the xxtra spicy elote and it was not spicy at all. In fact it was very sweet and needed more salt (and butter), less of the Mexican sweet cream, more cheese, and fresher crushed Cheetos. I got the jasmine milk tea (which was the perfect jasmine tea I've tried of Arlington) my friend enjoyed her matcha milk tea as well! We finally tried this place today! The UBE milkshake tastes like a cookies & cream frappuccino. The spicy watermelon drink is really good, it tastes like Mexican candy. The pink lychee drink is sweet and has a fragrance taste to it. The honey BBQ popcorn chicken was the best thing food wise. Yesterday was my first time at Zero Degrees for the soft opening. The place was packed with people, but it had a decent amount of sitting areas. It looks like a cafe/ smoothie joint but with a nice hip touch . The menu selection is great for both drinks and snacks . The hot cheeto corn was delicious ! The daughter and I went around 9 PM on a weekday hoping it wouldn't be crowded. We were wrong. The place was packed. The restaurant is located in a small shopping center with ample parking. The inside is quite small. All the tables were full. We only came in for drinks since it was so late. There was a full staff of employees and the ordering line went really quickly. When it was our turn to order the cashier was really friendly when I explained it was our first time. She explained the popular items and menu. We ordered 3 drinks because I just had to get the Hawaii travel bottle to represent home. I got the Thai Milk Tea for the travel bottle, hold the ice so I could drink it the next day. I also had to try the Ube shake. The daughter opted for the Cookie Monster. You have to hold onto your receipt because all of the drinks on your order may not come out at the same time. They call your number at the pick up area and cross off the ones they give you. It took maybe 15 mins for all our drinks to come out. The Ube was our favorite. We liked the Cookie Monster but feel the Ube was better. The Thai milk tea was also good and looked really cool in the travel bottle. The restaurant is about 45 mins from home so we're hoping the crowds will die down the next time we're in the area so we can sit and try some of the food. read more

I came on a Friday night and it was hectic. You enter inside and there was a line that was well organized and snaked to the cashier. The interior looked nice, clean, and when you order they give you a pager that beeps and you can hang out outside. Here's where things go south and sucky. I ordered five items one for each member of our party. They beep the pager and I go in and only one of the drinks is ready. 5 minutes ready and another drink is ready. 5 minutes ready and the food item is ready. It can get pretty annoying, I even asked for them to hold everything until everything is ready, but then, they beep again and just another single drink is ready. By the time I receive the last item, two of my friends are half done with their drink, foods almost gone, and one drink hasn't even been started. I can't imagine spending a good time here yet because of the huge crowds of people snapping photos of their drinks and food. I noticed the employee making my drink and saw him reach into the refrigerator to get the premade Thai tea. Not a huge fan of premade stuff. The Thai tea wasn't bad but was too sweet for my taste. The price for 2 Thai tea came about to $7and change ( 16oz) which is on par with any Thai restaurant. They had displays of others drinks that looked amazing. The selection was good, but making a decision was made much simpler with their combo selection. I chose the popcorn chicken combo with the watermelon slush drink and the chicharron and corn with hot Cheetos! The food and the drink came out pretty quick even though the place started to get busy. It's got a lot of business but I fail to understand why. Drinks are overly sweet but slightly refreshing on a hot day. The management system needs some work: employees working separately on the same order, miscommunication between workers, seems every worker needs to be trained for everything instead of being placed in a certain position. They messed up our drink twice by forgetting basil seeds and then the second time not putting in one of the berries. They're gracious enough to remake your drink, but they'll take your receipt (which you need in order to grab your food). They messed up on the food order (wrong sauce and WAY too much sauce) but the chicken was juicy and served very hot. The celery was slightly pale but the carrots were good.
