Came for a late lunch with my mother as we both wanted hamburgers. Upon arrival, the restaurant was pretty empty except for another couple eating. We ordered immediately and food followed shortly thereafter. I ordered a turkey burger and added my desired sides and my mother ordered their classic burger and added a fried egg. Walked in for lunch and ordered the Knockout burger comes with a fried egg, bacon, and Swiss cheese and a side order of fries. Came out pretty quick since there was no one really in the restaurant. At first glance, it looked really good, but that's about where it ended. So I was expecting a burger that as soon as you bite into it, the egg would run and be really moist. That is not what I got. I got a dry burger, and the egg was so over cooked that the yolk was crumbling. Very disappointing, the only thing that had moisture was the lettuce smh. The burger was super bland and had absolutely no flavor. The fries were ok nothing special. I've had some bad burgers in the past. This one was pretty close. Very disappointing that you advertised Nolan Ryan beef and dehydrated it. Burger 2 outa 10 Fries 3 outa 10 It's sad I've been here before and they had good burgers. I don't know if this was an isolated incident or what. And it cost me about 16 buks plus a 2 dollar tip, so a whopping 18 dollars if Ida known that my burger would have been dried out, I wouldn't have left a tip. As my brother was bringing me back home, from Cordicana, back to Euless, we decided to stop a Chapps, in Grand Prairie, TX.,my brother's old stomping grounds. We walked in and the restaurant is very neat neat, extremely clean and well organized. The atmosphere of this place is very relaxing, very quiet and easy to communicate and you seat your self. We walked up to the counter where our cashier was Ms. Vanessa, a lovely young lady, very welcoming and polite. She took our orders once she received our orders she read it back for accuracy. My brother had the #1 craft-your-own burger with All-Natural Black Angus Beef Burger with fried onions, pickles, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and mustard. I got the Jalapeño Cheeseburger with grilled onions, cheddar cheese and mustard and side of onion rings with two glass if water. The sweetest young lady Ms. Stephanie, food runner, with very pretty, sweet smile, polite brought out our burgers and asked if we needed anything else. My brother said that his burger was really delicious and that it had been a very long time since he had been there. The onion rings were hot, very crispy and well seasoned and they didn't disappoint. The jalapeno cheese burger was very delicious Patty had crispy edges and it too didn't disappoint. My burger was crafted to perfection. I have been meaning to try this place for a couple of months, and today, I finally did! I placed my order online, and the website was very easy to use. Website said my order would be done in 15 minutes when I clicked the option for ASAP. So let's get into what I ordered, which was the Baby Chapps combo medium well with Swiss cheese, grilled mushrooms (extra cost), grilled onions, mustard, ketchup, tomatoes, and pickles with a toasted bun. I requested my fries to be crispy. The burger was good, I definitely will go back and try other burgers on their menu. The fries were good but could have been a little crisper and more season. Chops burger is delicious! The beef for this burger chain is provided by Nolan Ryan. This chain serves excellent freshly made burgers with french fries onion rings, chili dogs, the whole 9 yards. I really enjoyed our food here and would highly recommend this over a basic traditional fast food, burger chain. I took lots of pictures they speak for themselves. The restaurant was clean. Stopped by on our way back from a long volleyball tournament. We were hungry and wanted a good burger. Chapps accomplished both of those needs. We ordered the cheese fries (add chili), the kids burger and the regular burger. Fries weren't that great. Mostly soggy and not my favorite type of fries, but they were ok. Get some ranch to dip them in, it makes them better. The onion rings were amazing. I highly recommend skipping the fries and going straight for the onion rings. The cheese fries were good. You will also need some ranch for this. We would absolutely return to Chapps. The burgers are good, the staff was friendly/helpful and the restaurant was clean. read more

Chapps always provides just what I want and that's a solid and reasonably priced meal. The burgers are huge and customizable. The 1/2 pound patties always taste freshly made and are cooked to your preferred temperature. You can add as many toppings as you like and even get it on lettuce if you're watching your carbs. The hotdog, as it comes with grilled onions, is huge and filling and is served on a toasted bun. The fries are heavily seasoned but you can request light or no seasoning. The onion rings are also consistent in size and piping hot. This is my go-to for a burger and I don't have to pay $20 for it. read more

This is probably the best burger restaurant I have been to in Arlington since moving here. The burgers are really fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is very inviting. The prices are kind of high and the food is a la carte so be warned! All in all there is a large variety of burger types and if you don't like beef you can also get chicken. This is a good place to go out for lunch while you are at work. Burgers do take a long time to be made though if there is a lunch rush, like longer than I would expect. read more

Very overpriced, a burger and fries with no drink is $15-17. My food is always soggy and sloppy and I pick it up right away since I literally live in walking distance. Staff leaves much to be desired, they're either outside, in the back or just ignoring you. I gave it 2 chances and nothing improved, since it's a chain I'd definitely just go to a different location to see if it's better. This is a fast casual concept with an open layout, lots of natural lighting and a large number and variety of seating. This review is based off a visit from a couple of months ago. We were immediately asked for our order when we approached the counter, I explained we had never been there before and would need a minute. Nobody offered to explain the menu, but she did offer to make my order a combo to make it cheaper and didn't charge us for drinks. They have 1/2 lb burgers, sides and drinks a la carte, a 1/4 lb is the Baby Chapp and is the only option for a combo. You can get cheese on your Baby Chapp and a side for $7.09, upcharged sides are cheaper this way. They have toppings listed with the classic options being free and additional fees for the rest. The kids meals for $4.99 were grilled cheese or chicken tenders. They also had small slices of pie for $2.75 on the front counter. The labels were difficult to read because the font was small but they were assorted and one was labeled as peanut butter chocolate! I did think it odd that we only paid for a side of cheddar fries, a 1/2 lb cheeseburger and a 1/4 lb cheeseburger and it was over $17. That seemed a bit high for ordering at the counter. Actually, while waiting about 15 minutes or so for our food, I noticed a few things were kind of strange. It was 11:30am on a Saturday, which means they had been open for about half an hour, yet there were a lot of tables with trash and baskets that needed to be cleared. Nobody was cleaning while we were there. I also had to maneuver through several wet floor signs in their dark restroom hallway (the floors weren't wet) to get to their absolutely freezing restroom. Not sure if it's the day shift or night shift that dropped the ball, but someone is when it comes to cleaning. The sweet tea was very good. They had lemons, but no tongs. The burgers that were brought to our table were above average and the cheese fries were hand cut. I wish the burger had been juicy, but it still hit the spot and had good flavor. I loved the toasted bun. We didn't finish all of it, but we definitely left full. Overall, this is a decent burger spot. I wasn't blown away and the staff didn't seem too concerned with service, but I would definitely give it another try if I found myself in town again. read more

So the quality of food is great here. The taste is really good. The portion to cost is good IF YOU ARE EATING IN THE RESTAURANT !!! That is a very important key here. Ordered a grilled Cajun chicken salad for pickup. Went in to get it and it was in the standard 3 tray styrofoam container. Very very light. I opened it to check and the salad barely covered the front single tray. The back smaller ones were holding the dressing cups. This is less than half of what you would get in the restaurant. I asked them about it. They admitted that you do get more if you eat inside and that's just the way they do to go orders. Mind you, the cost was the same. I was paying $15 for a salad that was considerable smaller than what you would get at Whataburger or Wendy's. Very disappointing. They at least have me my money back without arguing. THE EGG WASN'T RUNNY :( (it was runny in the picture, only reason for 4 star) My wife loved her "Grilled Chicken & Bacon Sandwich" and added grilled onions and avocado on a wheat bun. Perfectly cooked. The place was lonely. Hopefully more people find out about this place because it is definitely a really good burger joint. The egg is the only thing that I wish was better. Have been dining at Chapps since 2004. Love their burgers- reminds me of homemade backyard style. Love the sweet potatoes fries and the alternative offerings such as chicken, veggie and turkey burgers. The salad lettuce is lacking and the reason why I didn't give 5 stars. Yes, people come here for burgers but for those of us who skip the bun the lettuce on the burgers and in the salads becomes very important. I did appreciate their "natural" sugar sodas even thought I don't drink sodas. read more
