This was my first time at Zeroday! It was during beer week so you can say I came on the right day! They had 15 sour beers on tap from Free Will brewing company. I had never had a sour beer before and it was really good! For the 5oz size it was 2$ and for the 8oz size I believe it was 8$. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere! There was also a food truck outside when I went which is awesome! Although, I did not get any food from it. I will most definitely be returning to Zeroday outside of beer week! read more

Fantastic local brewery in downtown Harrisburg. Nestled on a quiet street behind a theater, this is a good place to stop and have a drink before or after whatever you're doing in the city. It's not the biggest brewery in town, but it certainly has some character with lots of decorative touches that set it apart from the others. I really liked how they made creative use of the old building - it's fun to look around and wonder what was in the space before them. There is a nice selection of beers - with some staples that have been on tap each time I visited, and a number of rotating brews that are either seasonal or experimental. Although I've only been here for drinks, I believe they do have a limited food menu of items that are paired to go with their beers. read more

Love that this local brewery is well, local! Mere blocks from our house it's a great place to stop in for a beer. My husband loves that you can buy a crowler to go and take it to Midtown Cinema next door. They have board games now and some picnic tables outside for the warmer weather. The downsides for me is I'm not a big beer drinker and I'm not a fan of the small wine selection. I also think the dark orange, almost red paint inside is a little intense if you believe in color psychology. It doesn't exactly put me in my zen mode :D. read more

I wasn't sure which beer to get and the bar tender was really nice and offered me a few samples to ensure that I chose the beer that I would enjoy. The place is nice, spacious and clean! I had the drop of golden sun beer and even though it's an IPA (which I don't normally like) I really liked this one. Since it's a NEIPA it's less hoppy and the apricot hint just makes it incredible! If you enjoy Service w/ an Attitude and a side of RACISIUM then this is the place for you!! We were less then underwhelmed and disappointed in the TERRIBLE Service and Food! The lack of flavor and portion size lead to more distaste with the experience. Servers seemed inconvenienced when they actually had to get up from sitting at the bar to wait on a table and made it apparent that we had disrupted their evening!! I had high hopes for my first trip to Zeroday's new brew location at 925 N 3rd St. The brewery is coupled with Latin food - signed as 'La Catrina Modern Mexican Kitchen at Zeroday Brewing Co.' Five stars for the space and ambiance. The place looks GREAT. It has a beautifully designed layout. Nice interior spaces, and an outside courtyard in the back. The vibe was pleasant, relaxed, and enjoyable. The lighting is really nice. Pleasantly subdued. And so was the sound level when I was there. There's a nice looking, long bar along one side of the space. While there are a couple of TVs over the bar, if the sound was on I didn't hear them. The beers were fine, and they had a nice variety of brews. I like that they have Porters available. Service was bright, sparkly and friendly. One star for the food. Sadly, the disappointment came along with the food. As Latin/Mexican food goes, unfortunately, it was mediocre at best. The portions are not large for the price, and are basically just what you order. No sides. No rice, no beans, no chips, no salsa. I'd characterize the food as "food court fare" at 'nice restaurant' prices. Except that you'd probably get a side at a food court. We ordered the Nachos. A pile of chips with some cheese sauce and jalapeños sprinkled on them. Order only if you have $12 burning a hole in your pocket. Ditto for a small bowl of guacamole. $12? Really!? Mucho dinero por un poco comida. I ordered the salmon fajita, and thought the serving was really paltry for $20. The onion and peppers were soggy and overdone. The dish came with 4 small cold corn tortillas - but there was barely enough food divide among them. The flavor? Nothing to write home about. The chicken enchiladas were no more impressive. Small corn tortillas, lacking cheese, and flavor. There is no pizzazz to this Mexican fare. Do yourself a favor. Dine elsewhere, and then go to Zerøday to enjoy some beer and nice ambiance! read more

So I have now been here three times. I am always pleased with the service here and the crowd is typically 1/2 to 2/3 full. I have gotten a beer flight twice and the cider of the day the third time I went. The cider was a blood orange and I loved it. It was like a beer and improved mimosa. As for the typical beers my favorite is the Cheap Date beer and the IPA. So the reason I took away one star is just I do not like all of their beers and their best beers are not my favorite. With that being said Midtown is VERY lucky to have this brewery and I will continue to visit! read more

Love this place. Really creative beer selection and fun snacks. Staff are super nice and helpful. They also have Big Hill cider, which is great in it's own right, but especially awesome if you have anyone who can't have gluten or wheat in your group. First of all, I love that local guys are starting to come out and share their home-brewed beer with the world. This place is a great example of a successful local brewery. I tried the sour one (i forget the exact name!)- it was good! I also tasted the cider which was really good. It was a little less sweet than angry orchard which is great in my opinion because I think angry orchard is too sweet. I cant drink more than 2 without being sick of it. Not the case with the cider here, very good! The one that I had a full glass of was the Mango Habanero because why not!? It sounded delicious and it was! Perfect balance of sweet, hot, and hops. I would've liked to taste a bit more of the mango flavor but it was still unique and very tasty. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone in the Harrisburg area. read more

This is an amazing little brew pub with great food and always an interesting selection of beers. Definitely one of the best local breweries, I have never had a beer from Zeroday that was not on point. Their gallery wall is a great place to check out local art. They have a monthly rotation of artists and are one of the few places in the area to embrace and display some of the less conventional, and more interesting artists in the area. read more

Zeroday is a real treat for the aspiring beer snob. Their beer is fiercely competitive in the seemingly over saturated microbrew market. The Critical Condition and IPA (single and double) are standouts. The Dolce Vita tastes like a robust, more flavorful version of Guinness. Everything else on the beer menu helps to broaden Zeroday's palate, showcasing a fairly broad range for a young brewery. While not a large venue, the room has a nice ambience with a wide open, spacious feel. They seem to promote a community vibe, booking local musical acts and hosting special events. They also have a synergy with Midtown Cinema, which is on the other side of the same building. You can bring Zeroday beer into the cinema. read more

I absolutely adore Zeroday. I have been here a few times and have left a very satisfied customer. Ambiance: A large open room with short tables, high top tables and a bar. You can see the brew tanks through a window. They have the music on (Ive been here once where its been a bit too loud) and its just a comfortable place. Local artwork hangs on the walls with rotating artists. The place is clean. Parking lot is well lit and shared with the midtown cinema. Staff is friendly, inviting and willing to answer any questions you have. Food: They do have a small availability of snacks as others have mentioned (hard and soft pretzels, meats) but they have just added a pizza window that serve some bar pies (I cant remember the name of the pizza maker sorry). I cant attest to the food as I haven't had it but the pizzas looked delightful. Took a look at the pizza menu, they offer 4 or 5 different types as well as build your own. Beer: this is why we are all here right? I honestly feel that Zeroday has a great variety of beer. Some other local breweries beers all have the same "flavor", you can tell its from that brewery no matter what you drink. Not the case here. Zeroday offers a little bit of everything and also have a rotating guest tap. For those non-beer drinkers wine is available from Hershey Vineyard. My favorite beer here is the dolce vita but the positive vibes is a new favorite. As for those who say no variety let me share my last beers i had here while at zeroday : Zerose malt liquor beverage, pale wheat ale, New England IPA, Cream Ale, and Saison/Farmhouse ale. In previous visits: Milk/Sweet stout, Baltic Porter, Shandy/Radler, Flanders red ale sour...and they offer more than this (Of course not all at once but there is plenty of variety in the taps). I also absolutely love when they do fusions, last visit i had a cherry bomb which was cherry and lime infused into one of the beers..in the past Ive had a swedish fish infusion which was amazing. They do different infusions every day, my only problem is I wish i could try them all! Also a big perk is that you can build your own flights, but if a flight is too much for you then you can get sample sizes as well, they also do pints, crowlers and growlers. Stopped into Zeroday because they offered a Groupon - 2 flights and a growler for $23. I had been here before, but it was right after they opened so I was excited to see how their business was going. To start they offer around 10 beers on tap. Some of the beers are always on tap while others are rotating based on the season. They also offer a daily "infusion" beer which is one of the beers on tap infused with extra flavors. The infusions are.... interesting. Some of them are pretty far out there so I would recommend just getting a small sample first. At Zeroday, beer can be purchased as 5 oz pours, pints, crowlers, or growlers. In addition to the brewery Zeroday has an "outpost" at the Broad Street Market. There are only a few beers on tap here but if you're at the market, have a beer and then walk the two blocks to the brewery and have a few more! In addition to the beer they offer food but have a VERY limited menu. The menu is basically pretzels - hard pretzels or soft pretzels. Zeroday is in the business of making beer - not food. Truthfully it feels they only offer the food they do as a way to get around PA law that a brewery needs to serve food. Facility offers tables (high and low tops) as well as seating at the bar. Atmosphere is laid back and clothing is casual. Zeroday is definitely a place to check out and a great place to take beer loving guests when they are in town! read more

A really great place with great beer, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere. It is small with limited selection of food items, they have some snacks, cheese and meat plates, pretzels and hoagies. Most days they feature a local food truck offering expanded offerings. Beers are excellent. They offer a wide assortment from cheap date (their take on an american macro) to my favorite, Dolce Vita (a hazlenut chocolate sweet stout) Place is friendly, clean with plenty of parking in their private lot. read more

Absolutely horrible!! I am a true foodie but never have I encountered such rude and distasteful service! The food was actually quite good as was the decor. The outside patio had a lovely fireplace and the ambience could have been quite warm and cosy but this was all marred by the servers rude and blunt service. I had a party of 12-14 women coming for lunch and I repeatedly called the restaurant to double-check COVID regulations and payment options for a large group. I called the week before to ask and the night before and even went a half -hour early just to make sure everything was in place. NOT ONE TIME was I approached and told that there were special arrangements for a group for more than 8 people. In fact I was told the exact opposite! - "Just come and have a good time!" Even then - much of this could have been avoided if the servers knew how to treat people in a civil manner. It is NOT the guests fault if the restaurant was not equipped properly with the servers. So...in the back of the MidTown Cinema there is this door. When you go in, there is this amazing brewery. Amazing. Most breweries try really hard to be "hip" and they look down on those that don't drink a saison with grapefruit and ginger in it, made from glacier water from Greenland. They have great beer. And they have great hard cider. And they have wine. And they have non alcoholic stuff!!! The beer is the kind you would want to have again. The staff are WONDERFUL!! Friendly and helpful and they really enjoy your company. And THEN, they have can growlers that they pour for you TO TAKE IN THE MOVIE!!! This four rating is more for the attached restaurant, which has interesting vegan options. The beer was good, but the bartender was rather gross. He all out sneezed, and even though his hands were free, he made no attempt to cover. He did act like he tripped and blew it at the floor. He also refused to answer questions if we weren't going to sit at the bar. We actually were ignored for several minutes. Servers were not very friendly, actually. Smiles were in short supply, for sure, even though it was happy hour. Maybe it was just a bad day. Then we screwed up on the tip. Thought we hit the 20-percent, but it showed up as only 20-cents. Thank goodness the server found me and asked if that was right. Still no smiles after I forked over $10. Maybe that was low... my darling was in the can, so I couldn't ask him. Well, we would return, because their beers are interesting, especially the Garage Boogie Board for me and the Boom. Roasted was okay for my honey. The food was fabulous! read more

Stopped by this brewery with co-workers after a great dinner at The Millworks. Great beer and atmosphere. We had the Peach Novelty which was amazing, and the Ocktodocto( I think) and both were some of the best beers I have had in awhile. Plenty of games to play and the bartenders are really friendly. They also have a very good pizza place onsite if you get hungry. We will be back on our next visit to Harrisburg! read more

4.0 to 4.5 stars for the beer and the bartender. Food was disappointing. "Food truck" is misleading -- there is no on-site truck. Instead pre-made food is brought to their micro-kitchen and kept warm or re-heated there. Basically, they feature lobster or crab mac and cheese. Mine was very greasy and didn't sit well with me for several hours afterward. Atmosphere is hipster coffee shop -- translated, no TVs. IMO they're costing themselves business, especially during football season. Be aware that a "flight" means a sample size of every one of their beers. This is too much for one person who's driving. You can order as many or few individual samples for around $2 each as you want, it's just not what the bar means by a "flight." It's newer, opened in April after a 3-year build-up, and I hope they can iron out those kinks. To recap: good beer and service; eat elsewhere; good for jukebox, bands, or self-amusement. read more

As craft beer enjoyers, we really like it here and have been a few times. The staff is very friendly and will take the time to converse with you, which is always nice. The beers are pretty solid with a few standouts. The in-house food they offer is good as well, although the menu is limited. They often have outside food vendors come in, or have food trucks outside, to offer some variety. The place is a bit on the small side so it can get packed, but it's the type of place where you could stand around and chat over a beer. Try the chocolate hazelnut beer over vanilla ice cream! PS, the parking lot is connected to the Midtown Cinema building. We circled the building a few times searching for it! read more

I tried giving this place another shot after having an unpleasant interaction with the owner (thankfully she wasn't around), but I don't understand this place. The majority of the beers say "novelty" in the name. Ok....great. How about non-novelty beer? Something like 12 beers on tap but not a single ipa or decent current style. But they had a watermelon this and fruity that. Who is deciding this? Obviously someone that's not in touch with what consumers want. Sure a few experimental beers are fine, but to not have some good flagships on tap and shove fruity novelty sours down your throat...no thanks. Maybe they should move to Camp Hill. Their "beer" seems to cater to the wealthy stay at home mom crowd anyway. Given this place enough shots. Wish it was better. Maybe needs new management or brewers? read more
