Zerorez destroyed my carpet. After the first "cleaning" there were huge rust colored spots where there had been none before. After the second "cleaning" the spots were even darker. They want to try a third attempt. It's been over a week and they have not offered to refund anything. They have not even offered an apology. The manager won't return my calls or contact me. The carpet obviously is destroyed and needs to be replaced, but they are avoiding the obvious. Meanwhile, my home looks like *&#!%@ and the furniture that is supposed to be in the rooms is in the kitchen, garage and hallways. Zerorez needs to admit that they screwed up, and help pay for new carpeting. I'm waiting... read more

Zero confidence in zerorez. Total cheese pricing tactics for rug cleaning. Bait and switch. Over priced by about $100 per rug. FYI: Industry norm is $2.50 per sqft. They then call and say one rug is damaged and wanted another $50 to fix. Rug was not damaged when they took the rugs. Salesman would not take my call to discuss. After 4 calls to customer service finally got a callback stating when I would get my rugs back. Their norm is 4 weeks. Overall DO NOT USE THEM FOR RUGS. read more

Classic case of Overbooking! Never got my Carpet cleaned! Closing on a House so decided to get the Carpet cleaned so I decided to give Zerorez a try. Had a cleaning scheduled on 10/5/2016 from 3 to 6. waited around and finally someone called around 5:00 and said the Cleaner was running way late and would not be there until after 7 to 7:30. I told them that's unacceptable and then they wanted to reschedule to the following week. I also asked since the appointment is being pushed out so late would I receive any discount? Was told that's entirely up to the Cleaner. Told them the closing on the house is this coming Friday and that won't work. Was told oh well, sorry! I'll stay with Coit. They've treated me great in the past. Also let my Real Estate agent know about this so He knows about Zerorez. read more

The gentleman who cleaned my carpets was great! He did a good job and was very nice; I felt comfortable around him. He was professional, courteous and took time to explain my carpet situation. Only two minor complaints. I expected to pay about $300 for the service. I ended up paying over $600 due to the pet urine treatment. I have 4 dogs....enough said. The technician did a good job of cleaning the carpets and so far the odor hasn't returned and the stains are gone for the most part. However, for another $600 I probably could've replaced carpet in a few rooms. EXPENSIVE service. The second issue is minor. The techs exhaust from his constantly running van, killed a large Chinese Poppy plant....it was burned from the exhaust. I noticed it and he moved the van. So make sure the exhaust from his vehicle is not next to any plants or you will lose them. I would use them again but would definitely not pay extra for the urine removal. I work on that myself on a regular basis, however, I don't think the cost of an extra $300 is worth it. Why just 4 stars? I feel it was a bit of bait and switch....of course I could've declined the extra service for urine removal but it was over the top in price in my opinion. read more

I have white carpet and have to get it cleaned twice a year! These guys were a bit more expensive than my regular service but I appreciate that they use special water that truly does not leave a residue. The carpet sparkled like new and was so soft! They charged a small $25 extra for an oversized living area but did not sell me on any extra products or treatments. Thanks!! I'll use them again! read more

My 8 year old carpet was very dirty from a Golden Retriever, and many worn traffic areas. The technician did a decent job of cleaning the carpet, and made the worn spots look as close to new as possible. My only complaint is similar to the previous review. On the phone, they told me that up to 10 steps could be considered one of the areas for the 3 room basic fee, but the tech had stuck in a charge for all 12 steps, plus the landing area at the bottom - all on top of the basic charge. Not to say that he didn't do a great job, but the $119 for three areas turned into $279 pretty quick. Looks like their "target price" is really closer to $300, so watch what you ask them to do. read more

The technicians from Zerorez were very professional - they arrived when they said they would, they confirmed what work we needed done, and they made sure that the work they completed was done to our satisfaction. It is a huge bummer when you are quoted a cost and then the minute you open the door everything is an extra cost. Oh do want me to use water to clean your floor, that is an extra cost o thhat is an extra cost. I want to know my cost of doing business with a company not a general idea. I was quoted $175 and we are paying $330 a majority of our house is hardwood. That is a little outrageous on extras. I know we will be using a different company going forward. read more

First, the pricing was incorrect by $50. The price provided by sales associate is different from cost estimated by technician at site. Second and the most important fact is that the cleaning is totally in-efficient. It didn't even remove the pet hair from the carpet. I am not just talking about few hairs here and there. I vacuumed the floor with dyson after carpet cleaning and collected half plastic-bag of pet hair. Finally, I recommend investing in good vacuum cleaner than hiring Zerorez which is waste of time am money. read more

worst carpet cleaning experience in 20 years. this time i did not buy additional services. 2 stains not removed. not sure he even tried. accusatory from his first comment. judgemental. angry. rushed. wasn't helpful moving a chair. went around a box and a free standing room a/c. too much trouble. he must have wanted to get off early. last time guy was nice but sold me up $300 above their sale to get them in the door. this time i only wanted the sale of the carpet cleaning and the technician wasn't nice i think because there was no additional commission, he didn't do a good job. i will never have these people again. the ladies on the phone were nice and professional. but this man that came into my house shouldn't have been sent out since it was too much trouble for him to do his job. he even asked for a 9 or 10 rating for awesome work. but i never got the email with the review. obviously not anywhere near awesome. read more

I had my carpets cleaned on Friday, and have not worn shoes in the house since then. I borrowed my neighbors stand up carpet cleaner on Sunday because we spilled lemonade. What are the chances of spilling a drink 2 days after getting your carpets cleaned! To my unpleasant surprise when I ran it across a 2 foot by 6 ft section with only hot water in the tank, the water came back ridiculously dirty. I was in the same room when the technician cleaned it. I wish I could attach the picture I took. He ran a single pass with the cleaning wand(not sure what it's called). I am beyond mad and feel like I didn't not receive the services payed for. $316. Our carpets were not that dirty to begin, I decided to have them professionally cleaned because we have a 9 month old who is now crawling. I have a dyson vacuum which I use once a week. I understand if the carpets were visibly dirty or poor cleaning maintenance, but we are both ex-military and keep our house clean. I contacted the company and spoke to the manager. He said, and I quote-" It is impossible to reach down and pull all the dirt out. We only clean from the backing up. Your machine used more water and can pull more dirt out. It goes all the way beneath the backing which is not necessary to get your carpets "clean". After we clean, the carpets continue to release dirt and with regular vacuuming under normal conditions you will pull the rest out. " -So if you are someone that is unable to do the task yourself, then this may be the company for you. I feel that a carpet cleaning company with professional grade equipment should be more effective than a stand up bissell carpet cleaner. I don't agree with the manager. I did not receive any type of refund, I was just offered for them to come back out or a credit. If you didnt do it right the first time, what makes me want to take a whole day off to do it again? read more

First impressions are important and you SHOULD pay attention to them...Too bad I didn't. The girl answering the phone was rude, stating the computer was slow and she would call me right back. She never did. I should have known then they were clearly NOT customer oriented, but as they quoted a good price, I hired them. The cleaning was not only not good, but they were in such a hurry that they water damaged my hardwood floors. When I contacted them, they came out and recleaned (still not very clean) and had a manager's buddy come look at my floor. Long story short, they beat around the bush, avoiding me and did everything they could to NOT make my hardwood floors right. The tech manager and call center manager (husband and wife) sent me in circles, always denying me access to higher management, owners, and solutions. Only when I threatened legal action did they send their liability insurance agent to assess my floor. Thankfully, their insurance carrier had a desire to do the right thing. I would NEVER use this unprofessional, "don't do right by the customer" business again. Substandard work and beyond substandard customer service. read more

After careful consideration, I am am giving Zerorez a negative review. In fact, if I could give them zero stars, I would. I used them twice recently, once to clean the carpets of my rental, and once for my home. Cost of almost $600 for the rental, and they didn't get the carpet clean. I thought I was going to need new carpet after only two years. Met the carpet salesman at the rental, he said he thought the stains should come up, and recommended a different carpet cleaning company. Unlike Zerorez, the competitor got the carpets in the rental looking brand new -- at less than half the cost! Zerorez rates zero for one. At the time of the rental cleaning, I also had them clean my home. Similar issues, didn't get the carpets clean there either. On top of that, I only had them clean three rooms, so the price started out as their advertised special, but I added "biologics" (pet odor control) for the three rooms, and that tacked on another $150 or so (seriously?). Problem was, those products didn't work either, and the slight smell from some pet "accidents" was still there. I bought a solution from Amazon and cleaned it myself, and that took care of it. Zerorez rates zero for two. But wait there's more! The technician who cleaned my home provided a statement, but thought the office would invoice me. No problem, because I had paid for the rental by credit card over the phone. Next thing I know, I get a voicemail message from the lady in accounting (I'll call her "Babs") who treats me like a deadbeat because I "didn't pay" and on top on that Babs is trying to collect more than is due. I call her back twice, leave a voicemail twice explaining I am willing to pay by credit card but she is overcharging me. Babs does not return the calls. I work it out with the sales people, but can't help but think that Babs would have started a collection action and be the one to screw up my perfect credit score. Zerorez rates zero for three, and the frosty Babs rates a fitting Below Zero. The technician? He tried really hard, but was saddled with apparently inferior products. He rates much better, and should I ever cross paths with him again, I will recommend that he go to work for the competitor who got everything right. read more

ZERO STARZ! We had an appointment set for the timeframe between 1:00-3:00pm. After receiving zero confirmation we reached out to confirm the time frame and were assured that they would be here between 1-3:00. Around 3:15, and still no Zerorez, my wife called and was told they would be here by 4:00. After 4:00, and still no call from Zerorez (i know, at his point I shouldn't be shocked), my wife calls again and is told that they will be here around 5:30. At this time I reached out to Zerorez and left a voicemail to let them know of my frustration as well as try to get a time of when they may actually be at our house. We have a toddler who we had at a sitters all afternoon to prepare for our carpet cleaning, all for not, money out of our pocket that we will now have to plan for again because of the lack of (non existent) customer service from ZERO SERVICE! I am still waiting to here back from them.... Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! I would not recommend Zerorez to anyone. read more

So Zerorez just left my house and I am really disappointed in them. They were only here 20 minutes and the $124 they quoted me turned into $505 for 3 areas + some stairs. Some of the stains came up but others that were the same stain (doggie urine) did not so I don't feel they spent enough time working those areas along with the high traffic areas. Awesome company!! I just had my carpets cleaned the other day and they look amazing!! The customer service was great, the technician called before he came over, addressed my concerns, and went over the entire process before he started. He took the time to do everything very thoroughly and made sure that the high traffic areas were given extra attention. I love that I didn't have to worry about having the cats or my child on it as there was no nasty chemical residue to be concerned about. I would use this company again in a heartbeat! read more

We scheduled service for our bottom floor but ended up doing the entire house. We also needed a pet treatment to try and get some urine smells out. I know those are tough and there is no guarantee, but that's the primary reason we wanted to get the carpets clean. Service was great and very professional but wow was it expensive. A little under $600 for two floors, 13 stairs, with the pet treatment (roughly 1500sf). Pricing was stated up front though, no hidden fees and we didn't feel pressured. We asked for the extra stuff after all. They did a good job getting rid of the smell though. It's now very faint and only in certain areas that I can probably spot treat myself. It was never a pronounced odor, but you could smell if if you were sitting on the floor. The carpets took the rest of the day and all night to dry and they smelled horrible after the cleaning, but that went away once they dried. I'm guessing the enzyme they put down to treat the urine was the cause of the odor after the cleaning. It's been a little over two weeks and the carpets still smell better and look nice. In hindsight I won't pay that much again though. read more

We just had our carpet cleaned by ZeroRez. Angel and Rich did a fantastic job. The difference between the dirty carpet and the cleaned carpet was incredible, we had no idea how dirty our carpet was. We feel the carpet was cleaned better with ZeroRez then with any other carpet cleaner we have used in the past.
