Used this company for years and I think their cleaning is great, no complaints there. Our last cleaning resulted in missing belongings. I reached out to zerorez and they won't do anything about it unless I have video evidence. So sad, other people are going lose property and they no longer have my business. Second time using Zerorez. A few months ago they did an incredible job cleaning my carpet. It looked as good as it did new, so I called them back again. Big let down! This is the 2nd worse cleaning I've had. I'm beginning to think the key to cleaning the carpet isn't the company, but the technician. He spent more time talking than focusing on cleaning. Missed a lot of soiled areas which I had to point out. When he focused on them, the spots came out. He didn't go back and forth across the soiled areas like other technicians. It takes me longer to vacuum my carpet than this guy cleaned...he took longer to clean my bath and bedroom than the family room and dining room (4 times larger). The vacuum hose was also leaking water everywhere and he had to tie a rag around it, but it started leaking too. So, the carpet has soaking wet spots everywhere he stopped to talk. I have towels on them now to soak up the water. The technician was a kind guy, but I want a good job to go with it. The technician went outside my front porch and called his office before I new he was done. I was hopeful until I overheard his phone call to the office when I went to look for him. He didn't know I could hear his conversation. He totally misrepresented me to his office. What a set up!!! No integrity there... My sister saw the workmanship and was shocked! She used to own a Stanley Steamer franchise. It's unfortunate to have this poor quality after doing so well the 1st time they came. They cleaned my sons house after some renters moved out and he moved back in and they did a great job! I laugh at dumb people who leave reviews where they trash their house or let their dogs pee all over the house and then they complain that the cleaning company didn't make everything like new .. Duh! If you want a new carpet then buy a new carpet, if you call a cleaning company they going to do the best they can under the circumstances. Our experience with carpet and other cleaning companies is that they can't perform miracles .. Not their fault if you or your tenant trashed the place .. Have a realistic expectation and you won't be disappointed ...my two cents... :) read more

We had a great experience with Zerorez. Dan came into our house and after introductions inspected our couch and provided us the cost of cleaning - I expected a lot more than we actually had to pay which was $149. We had no stains - just a couple years worth of dust build up and dog slobber but when he was done, our couch looked and smelled great. He was a perfectionist trying to pull out my dog's hairs. I had a very nice experience with Zerorez. I called about two weeks ahead of time to book a 8 am arrival. The tech, Josh Duncan, called 30 minutes prior to his arrival, had my carpet, (one room), couch & large lounge chair cleaned in about an hour. He explained everything he would do prior to getting started & did a wonderful job. I didn't have to ask him to go over anything after he was done. I hadn't cleaned my couch or chair since I bought them 14 years ago so they were dirty & needed to be cleaned. They & the carpet looked like new after he finished. I'll use Zerorez again. read more

Wow. Dang, I had our 5 x 8 Living Room Rug cleaned by Zerorez and I am speechless. When I brought it in it had an embarrassing amount of dog hair on it accompanied by some pretty serious spills/food stains. It literally looks brand new, smells great and I couldn't be happier. Customer service was fabulous and it did take them a few days longer than they originally quoted (I was quoted 10-14 days and I think it was about 17 days) but I could really care less seeing as it looks perfect. Thanks Zerorez, we'll be back! Let me also mention that this is a cream colored rug located in a high traffic area in a home that has 2 medium sized dogs. Pretty unbelievable! read more

This service is excellent! It's the second time we've used them. They were quick and did a VERY thorough job. Did 6 areas and got up paint spots and pet urine. The carpets look brand new and it's been several years since they've been cleaned. I also love that they're green and there is no smell or soap residue. I'd give these folks no stars for the classic Bait and Switch.. I called them about a week ago and asked him how much it would be for four rooms +14 stairs in a living room and family room and they quoted me $250.Well when the guy got there today he called their dispatch and said this guy has five rooms not 4 (which was true -I mis counted) +2 hallways that connect the rooms and that's going to be almost $500. I was like how did you double the price because we added one room which was my mistake after all, I have a couple rentals and I couldn't remember. The girl on the line said no problem I thought when you first called it was only a one room house that's why I quoted you $250.. I was like what???? Who has a one room house? So she said I'll tell you what I'll do it for $340 and I said fine just get it done that would be great thank you very much. Well I go to work for two hours and I get a voicemail that was left earlier that said sorry I talked to my supervisors and the best we can do it for is $395. So in the end they didn't even honor what they promised! I'm done with these folks, try to find someone that's reputable.. the girl on the line sounded like it was her first day as well but her supervisors didn't step up to make it right they only made it worse which is crazy don't do business with Zero Rez. read more

I was impressed by the cleaning. After the drying, I noticed some areas (mostly the heavy used) that were still dark. But he explained that to me, so I was not surprised. The carpet is old and had not been cleaned. I like that he explained the whole process to me and what I should expect with the carpet cleaning. I will certainly used them again. read more

This was my third time using Zerorez. After the second cleaning and their sales pitch that I needed to have my pet stains treated, which I had done, I decided to order a black light to see what they were showing me. They came in this last time and showed me the spots I needed to have treated, and once again I paid an additional $180 to have them treated, thinking they would go away. After the carpet dried, the spots are still all there. I called and Zerorez, told me over the phone they do not ever go away and most people do not have a black light. There was no offer to come and look at them, Needless to say, I learned a lesson $300+ later and will never use them again. I told them their radio ads about how they get out pet stains are misleading and the person said, well, most people do not have black lights. read more

Stay away. My daughter is getting married this week and our family is flying in. I needed my carpets clean. I made an appointment, prepared the house and was prepared for my 8AM appointment. At 8:10AM they called and cancelled. They said maybe we could be squeezed later. We have a rehearsal dinner later and couldn't move it. This is the 2nd time I used Zerorez. My first experience was far better. The guy who came to my house was pleasant, but made some inappropriate comments. I thought initially he did a good job and tipped him, but as it turned out, he used way too much water. My carpets were saturated and took over 24 hours to dry, complete with foot prints. Then, one of the spots I asked to be removed, seemed to have been transported to another area. Zerorez came out a second time and another guy removed the spot. He agreed that the first guy probably used too much water and the spot was something called "brown spot" which he explained was from saturation of the pad. At any rate, I still like the effect of Zerorez and will continue to use them. Hopefully, next time, my cleaner will be better and use the proper amount of water. Plus, Zerorez scheduled a redo for the new spot without charge as it should be and within a reasonable time frame. Good customer service. read more

I had Zerorez out two weeks ago, primarily to help with some pet stains. The technician was on time and courteous and left my carpets cleaner than they had been in years. However, I was bummed that some of the stains and smell remained, especially for the price. I checked their fine print and it stated, plain as day, that there is no guarantee on pet stains. I filled out their company survey (which I thought was anonymous), giving a 4 star review and indicated that I would definitely recommend them, just not for pet stains. In less than 24 hours, I received a phone call from a manager asking for more information. Today, a second technician came to inspect the work and re-cleaned the impacted areas at no charge. Zerorez does a great job and I am thrilled that they took the time to read and respond to my survey- I am even more thrilled that they took the time and initiative to make sure that the job was done right. You get what you pay for, and Zerorez is definitely worth it! read more

I have had Zerorez come out and clean my carpets 3 years now. This year being #3. I'm happy. The first time they came out I was very pleased. The guy who came out was thorough in his cleaning and conscientious about providing a service in someone's home. The second year - he wasn't so good. The cleaning was not thorough, he didn't wear booties, he didn't put foam under my furniture legs. He was careless. You're wondering why I went back to them? Hey - I liked them the first time, their base price is reasonable, and I like their product. So today - this was the perfect cleaning job!! The gentleman who was here talked to me about my carpet. I explained about our new kitten's behavior issue - which is improving but not completely resolved yet. We talked about treating for those spots etc.. Yes it did cost me more - but it's not an unreasonable more. You add extra options to your car wash - this is adding extras to a real good cleaning of your home! Just do it. The crew from Zerorez will explain the extras to you - you will decide if it's what you want. Their base cleaning is pretty darn good too! Ok - I wanted to start a new review - because it's been almost a year since I've had Zerorez out to clean. Today I had extras done - mostly because my daughter's cat has issues! Had other carpet cleaning companies but Zerorez does it right. You can actually go back to living in your house in 6 hours (some areas took longer to dry). Victor was very professional and sweet and I knew the schmeg on my teenagers carpet was going to be a challenge for him. Not so! The room looks amazing! Bert and Albert were amazing technicians. Very professional, friendly, and explained the entire process to us from start to finish. The enzyme treatment they did on our carpeted areas worked wonderfully - both the urine stains AND smells are completely gone!! Thank you, Bert and Al! However...the customer service we experienced with zerorez was *not* my favorite. While everyone was friendly over the phone, the actual "customer service" was all over the place. We had an appointment for August 22nd initially, but on the 19th, received a phone call telling us that they had double-booked us, and would need to reschedule. This is after we had made plans for our dogs to be boarded for the day ($75) and our kids to be at a playdate so that the house would be empty. A little bit of an inconvenience, but they did offer to give us $50 off our services for the reschedule. Great. We rescheduled. On September 19th, our technician was supposed to be at the house sometime between 10-1, so we scheduled a grooming appointment for the dogs so they would be out of the house. By 12:21, no one had called to tell us they were on the way (we were told a technician would call 30 minutes before their arrival), so we called into customer service. The rep I spoke with seemed VERY confused. Finally, after a long hold time, he got back on the line and told me that I would get a call back within 15 minutes. At 12:53, no call, so I called back again. Was on hold for 5 minutes, and hung up. At 1:13, I called again - was told that the tech would be out in 20 minutes. At 1:29, Bert called and explained that he didn't know that he had been double-booked from 10-1, and that he was on his way (and would be there within 20 minutes, which did turn out to be true this time). Kind of annoying since our dogs were now on the way home and had to be corralled to be out of the way while our carpets were being cleaned. When we went to pay for the service, of course there was NOTHING noted on our account that we were to receive a $50 credit, so Bert had to call into customer service on our behalf (I honestly didn't have the patience or the desire to do so - again - so thank you, Bert!). They offered a $30 credit, to which I was pretty annoyed with, to be honest with you. Bert worked with us, and gave us a better deal on the 3 rooms that were treated, and also threw in ScotchGuard at no charge, along with the $30 credit. That was okay with me - and frankly is the offer that should have been presented to us by customer service for the hassle we went through with having to reschedule and then having the techs come out so late. We will definitely use zerorez again really only because of the techs doing such an amazing job. I would like to think that reading reviews like this will only help the business with training their customer service reps to do a little bit better - and everyone deserves a second chance! read more

Zerorez destroyed my carpet. After the first "cleaning" there were huge rust colored spots where there had been none before. After the second "cleaning" the spots were even darker. They want to try a third attempt. It's been over a week and they have not offered to refund anything. They have not even offered an apology. The manager won't return my calls or contact me. The carpet obviously is destroyed and needs to be replaced, but they are avoiding the obvious. Meanwhile, my home looks like *&#!%@ and the furniture that is supposed to be in the rooms is in the kitchen, garage and hallways. Zerorez needs to admit that they screwed up, and help pay for new carpeting. I'm waiting... read more
