The cleaners were friendly yet professional, and did a good job cleaning the carpets. And I'm very impressed with that vacuum/roller thing and how much pet hair it got out of my carpet! However, they did this work during the pandemic restrictions. The woman with whom I booked the service via phone, assured me that they take the temperature of every worker every morning, and that before they enter my home, they will put on a NEW (unused or newly washed) face mask, and wear NEW gloves - that had not been in anyone else's house. And that they would wear booties.Instead, neither worker wore any gloves at all, and the masks they wore were, at least in one person's case, completely beat up from overuse. They put on booties, but they looked used also, and while doing the work, they occasionally wore the booties outside (on the patio, porch, etc.) I really needed the carpets cleaned, so I just let them do the work, and then I wiped down doorknobs, etc. afterwards - but I shouldn't have let them come in - I was caught off-guard. read more

We have used zerorez before so when the need arose we called again. Set up is easy and an appointment was scheduled in two days. The technician, his name is Osvaldo, arrived on time and ready to go. I explained the job and he immediately set to work. Osvaldo was very polite, considerate and took care in his work; he is conscientious and detail oriented. I was really disappointed in their service. The technician came in almost an hour after the end of the appointed 3-hour window & didn't offer so much as an apology. He also forgot to tell me that he cannot move any furniture. I would have gladly moved them if only I had been told. I inspected later & found what had happened & scheduled for someone to return & clean those sections. 2 hours into the appointed arrival, I get a call from a manager stating that "no one was in the area." So here I am waiting for nobody, basically. The manager was reasonable but I was really frustrated that no one would even show up at the scheduled time. There was a 9-day period between when I called back & when the technician was supposed to come back, so there was plenty of time to check the schedule & call if there's a mistake. To be fair, I think the carpets are well cleaned & there wasn't any soapy residue, but there are other companies that also don't use soap, so I would go with one that has better service. Price-wise it's more expensive than some other places I had looked at, and for the price I think I'm being reasonable in expecting decent (if not great) service. read more

I have had an extremely mixed experience with Zerorez. While I appreciate their more environmentally oriented cleaning, and I opted to have both my carpets and hardwood floors cleaned, their billing and communication have been subpar. First I was billed twice for services, when I was assured I would not be at the time of service. Then when I contacted them to request that they reverse the second charge, they billed me an additional unauthorized fee when they reversed the second charge. Had I known how many billing problems there would be, I would have paid by check instead, as it has been difficult to reach them at times via telephone. While the personnel who provided the services, David and Elijah, were extremely pleasant, and I have spoken with Heidi via telephone, I am extremely disappointed in the erroneous billing services and difficulty in correcting these issues. I would hesitate in recommending them to others I know based on these problems, despite the fact that they offer a nice product. I would score their service as a 4 or 5 and their billing and communication as a 1 or 2. read more

I can only put down one star?? Actually, ZeroRez gets ZERO STARS from me. They didn't show up for the scheduled appointment!! I took off work to be at home during the two-hour window they said they would be there. Of course, there was no call ahead to say they were running behind. When the scheduled appointment time passed, I called the 425 area code phone number to find out what was going on, but since it's actually a call center in Utah, they had to have the crew in Seattle call me back. Seems that they were still 1.5 hours from being done with their current job! They seemed nonplussed that I wasn't able to accommodate their tardiness. Apparently they think "customer service" means their customers need to serve them. read more

This was the best in-home service I've ever had. From the advance customer service calls to the on-time technicians and prompt professional work, an altogether excellent experience. The superior science behind their soap and detergent free system was carefully explained, and the results on a carpet I had actually given up on were stunning. The carpet looks like new..next time I'll do all the rooms. Everything was very well explained and the gentleman was excellent. I had used ChemDry and my carpets remained dirty. When the technician came he explained that my carpet (corn) is not ever supposed to use chemicals. I explained that I bought it at Home Depot and as a condition of the warranty, they insisted that I have Chem Dry clean my carpets three times. That's criminal. I love the lack of chemicals, seems there are plenty in our world these days and I love this system. Alex did a great job for us yesterday and spent so much time trying to bring life back to our carpet. Wouldn't even charge us for the stain removal since he couldn't get the stains out! I was kind of skeptical on using Zerorez at first for the fact that they claim to use no soaps or detergents to clean carpets. But my wife and I decided to give them a shot. The technician came out and he was very professional and respectful when he came into our home. In the past I have had contactors and carpet cleaners who have came out and they were high pressure sales but with these guys they more or less educated my wife and I on how to presserve or carpets.
