On a mini-vacation in Huntington Beach and just didn't want to go out in search of dinner... so found ZeroZero39 and ordered directly via Yelp (and Eat24). Loved that they offered slices, so we could try a variety of pizzas. And each one was better than the next. Very pleasantly surprised. Classic pepperoni and truffle porcini were my favorites, but we really liked every type we tried... fresh, interesting combinations and nice sized slices. Delivery was very fast and the delivery guy was so friendly... even offering tips on places to take my little dog while in town. If I was a local, this would be MY pizza place for sure. Was interested in trying Roman style pizza and found this place nearby in HB. The pizzas here are no joke. When we first arrived I was a little worried that this place was all hype. We were there about an hour before closing so the selection was a bit limited and the pizzas didn't look like they would be very good. But boy was I wrong. After the slices we chose came out of their second trip to the pizza oven they smelled and eventually tasted delicious. We ordered plain cheese and spicy salami pizza and I would definitely order both pizzas again. But there are some other interesting ones that weren't available, I just might have to make a few more trips here. We also ordered the tiramisu and yuuummmmm. When I picked it, the wife told me she wasn't really a tiramisu type person and still she finished more than half the dessert. It was that good. Will definitely be back and would encourage anyone else to stop by if they are in the area. read more

I highly recommend the truffle one with mushrooms. It was SO flavorful. I'm obsessed. Not a huge fan of the chicken one that is pictured but that's just my personal preference. If anything, this is a must try for truffle lovers!! read more

We truly enjoyed our stop at this little pizza spot. We had about 5 different varieties. My favorite was the truffle with mushrooms but everyone was very satisfied. The employees were very friendly and easy to work with while we decided on our order. We will return either here or their new location in the Anaheim packing district! read more

Not just another pizza! Definitely worth the time looking for parking around Main st on a Saturday! Had the Doppio! Definitely recommend that. But if you wanna find out how truly delish the pizza is, have a slice of cheese. A slice of cheese pizza tells you how great everything else is going to be! Kinda like hummus at a Mediterranean restaurant. If that's good, everything is going to be good!! read more

A great variety of pizza ready to be enjoyed. The owner and staff are amazing and always have smiles on their faces. Tired four different pizzas and all were phenomenal. Just tried it for first time after a recommendation from a friend. Bought a single slice of Hawaiian pizza. They have many varieties on display and you can get one or more slices, or a whole pie. I ordered delivery off Doordash and ended up with a pizza that wasn't right. Unfortunately, but the time it arrived, I had been drinking and was sort of stuck with it. Frustrated, I ended up hopping in an Uber back to ZeroZero with the wrong pizza. When I arrived, the owner showed me the Doordash receipt for my order and guess what- the Doordash receipt matched the pizza I got; it was a Doordash issue (or my mistake). I apologized profusely, but the owner insisted on making me a new pizza to my specification, for free. I sheepishly and reluctantly agreed and ended up back in an Uber with 2 pizzas. Both the pizza I wanted and the one I didn't were, as ZeroZero always is, absolutely 5 star. I don't know of a better pizzeria in HB than ZeroZero39. read more

Wow, this spot is a gem. The pizza is absolutely slappin, and the dough very yummy and crusty. The toppings are delectable -- I tried the ZeroZero (spicy salami and jalapeno) and a Truffle Porcini, both were epic. 2 slices were sufficient to fill me up. It is on the pricier side, but for the quality, it was well worth it. And best of all, I love to support a local family business that is darn good at what they do. I normally just get a cheese slice but the guys I were with wanted to try some of their other options, they had nothing but great things to say about their orders! The service here was amazing! Everyone is super friendly. The pizza was out of this world though! Came in just hungry for any slice and happened to choose the truffle pizza. It was rich and cheesy. The crust is different from anything I have had, it's a little crunchy yet super soft. The red sauce was also perfectly acidic and flavorful. This was my 2nd order from here. Got a large Zero Zero and while the meat was lacking, the crust, sauce, and cheese was delicious. The price is pretty high, but the quality is definitely better than a big chain restaurant. read more

Can you say homemade everything? This place does not disappoint in providing a little Italy next to the beach. From the homemade pasta you can buy and cook at home, fresh bread, pizza, to the cannolis. If the food doesn't impress you the staff will. I've eaten here several times & actually brought new friends in the other day after they wanted to eat at a nearby pizzeria! They said it was worth the extra block walk! I've had everything from a Pepperoni Pizza to a Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza but my absolutely favorite is the Mortadella and Mushroom Pizza! Wow bursting with flavor, you feel like you're mouth walked into a dance party & it's the happiest it's ever felt! Too wild of a description? Well, that should tell you how speechless this slice made us (i shared it with a buddy) The crust is perfectly aerated so when it bakes, it's crispy through every bite. The toppings are generously added and FYI the slices are MASSIVE. It's really 2 slices so be prepared for a meal. So if you think $8 a slice??? It's WORTH EVERY DOLLAR!!! read more

I use Yelp each time I travel to find one of a kind gem businesses. I scoped out several pizza locations in the Huntington Beach area through Yelp and found myself drawn towards this particular spot. I brought my Aunt & Uncle who have lived in H.B. Since the late 70's and the three of us ABSOLUTELY LOVED the entire experience! Fabulous staff, I mean totally personable and genuinely welcoming! Fantastic enthusiasm and very cozy & comfortable seating inside and out. The menu has the perfect balance of options and the food is delicious, the portions are incredible! I will be visiting again in March, I will 100% return again! My Aunt & Uncle thought they have had delicious pizza, now they realize they NOW finally have after eating at ZeroZero39.... Been here many times. It' is not like all pizza. The dough has a slow rise flavor, the sauce is a ground marinara more similar to pomodoro but not as fragrant. It is not an oily dominos or Pizza Hut style. Just fyi. I'm a really picky pizza eater having been a chef for gourmet Italian fusions restaurants. I love the Rústica, it's perfection to me. Again, it's not for everyone but my son loves it :) he gets the Hawaiian :) read more

I heard their pizza is really good, so I decided to give it a try. The pizza was greasy and barely had any toppings (I ordered the Hawaiian). I don't drink sodas so I asked for a cup of water and received a tiny cup not even full and got charged $1 for it (seriously?) I gave them another try and pizza was the same (no drinks I knew better In response to the owner's comment, there's no reason I would make a false statement. I did get charged $1 for a cup of water. If that is not a standard menu item the owner should inquire with the lady with an accent working on New Year's Eve during the day to fix the problem. read more

Went with my husband and child to try pizza, when asked why a piece of pizza costs 10 dollars with a disgruntled face sent us the owner of the institution, I do not recommend going there if you do not want to spoil your mood. As someone who lives pizza, this place stands out as the go-to place for Roman-style pizza. Walking in, you are immediately greeted with the smell of freshly made pizzas with all of them on display for guests to choose from. They offer pizzas of all sorts and everything is quite affordable. The dough is nice and crispy and the sauce and cheese work hand-in-hand quite well. Quite the cheesy bite of you ask me. We walked in as they were about to close and were still helped out. The guy at the front seemed real cool. Calling the restaurant, I ended up talking to Hailey again and she helped me find the receipt for that transaction and whoever punched in the amount punched in the wrong number. I have been watching this place since it opened and have been looking for an excuse to try it. I have noted they draw a good local crowd in the evenings.Today I was at the tail end of a fifteen mike bike ride on a breakfast of coffee. So although i planned a BBQ this afternoon I figured I needed a bite and a slice of pizza sounded good.The place is mainly take out with some tables.The menus needs work. Trying to figure the whole pizza from the sliced is not straight forward. So now I am being picky.The pizza is rectangular ah ! A good thing ! Background.. Dad was born in Detroit from parents who came from Italy near Monte Cassino.His eldest brother was born there. Mom was from the same area and came here as a kid.Pizza I ate growing up has little in relationship to New York. Chicagoenor any other U.S. popular style. Without trying to write a book on pizza lets just say that besides Petriloos in SanGabriel most pizza places Leave a Lot to be desired.I had a slice after looking over a choice of seven. (Summary - food isnt good(mediocre at best) and its needlessly expensive(like wayy expensive)). Hi, So this is my first review on this app but I just wanted to write this real quick to let anyone know before coming. So I wanted to say I had no problem with the staff at all, I didnt really get to engage with the staff much cause I wasnt there for too long but they seemed pretty friendly. Heres where the problem lies, starting with the food, it wasnt very good, i was very unimpressed, we got the baratta pizza and the cheese, the barrata was worse then the cheese, it was just so, i dont even know how to describe it without saying it was just very meh, and then the cheese on the cheese pizza was like just not good at all. The second thing that i wanted to say was that the price was like so unreasonable, I asked for 4 slices, 3 barrata and 1 cheese. The staff cut off the slices, heated them up, put them in the box and then took me to the register and the total came out to be 40 dollars, yes that is with a tip of 20%, but thats an insane price for 4 slices of pizza. Anyways, yah thats it for my rant, I know rent there is high and there isnt a whole lot of costomers all year long but like come on, that pizza tasted like dirt. :/ read more

Been to Zero Zero Pizza in Huntington Beach a couple times now, and it's becoming one of those "solid, reliable" spots in the rotation. This visit I had the Caprese slice and my wife went with the mushroom and sausage. Both were good across the board. Sauce had nice flavor, not overly acidic, and the crust held up well--even reheated, it kept a decent crisp which is harder than it sounds. Yes, i have personally experienced a few air fryer mini-fires in my reheating adventures. Not mind-blowing, but definitely enjoyable slices. We also tried the caprese salad--again, solid. Fresh, balanced, nothing over the top but it works. Where this place really stands out is the vibe. The interior has a cool, laid-back feel with fun decor that gives it personality without trying too hard. Easy place to hang out. Service has consistently been great--friendly high school kids who actually seem to care and keep things moving. Bottom line: good pizza, good people, great atmosphere. I keep coming back, just still waiting for that one item that knocks it out of the park. When they hit that, this place jumps to another level. read more

First, how you can compare real pizza from Rome to a "whole large pizza" from Domino or whatever ....???? Do these guys know where the flour arrives from? Doppio Zero flour is imported and certified top quality flour... something that, living here from 2 years...it is like a dream! Second....someone suggested Mozza... yes, Mozza has good pizza... when I go there and I buy pizza for the family, I spend (take out... if you dine in you leave your credit card...) around 50 dollars.... this evening I spent 24 .... I lived in Italy for 33 years and ran a Rome-based film business for 18 years. Both my children were born and raised in Italy. I've eaten the best pizza in the world in Naples, Rome and Milan. So I humbly feel qualified to review Zero Zero 39 Pizzeria: Their pizza is indeed authentic, made with quality ingredients and always fresh. To be clear, this is Rome style pan pizza that has a light medium-thick crust. The only thing that I would suggest is that customers wake up and stop asking for non-authentic ingredients like chicken and pepperoni. There is no pasta or pizza anywhere in Italy with chicken. And pepperoni is a New York invention - non existent in Italy. These are both American bastardizations of Italian food. Instead, wise up and try the gorgonzola and radicchio pizza - my personal favorite. By the way according to my wife, their tiramisu is the bomb. read more

I can't into words how genuinely impressed I am with the interaction I've had with the owner and the staff. Atop the food I ordered, it was not just a sublime experience, it was an incredibly satisfying one. The Truffle Porcini came slightly short with the taste I'm expecting but it is still delicious. I came here while on spring break. They run some really good specials! The owners were the sweetest people over. The crust had a great crunch on the outside but was nice and soft on the inside. Also, it's a little confusing when online it says 3.50 a slice, online order says 4.50, inside says 5 dollars and then when you get rung up it says 6.80.

Everything came together better than expected. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was extremely clean, which always makes a big difference. The atmosphere really stands out. There are multiple LED TVs, including one huge screen and even a projection TV, making it feel like a true sports bar. They also have an arcade area, which is great if you're bringing kids along. On top of that, the bar features 24 taps, so there's plenty to choose from if you want a drink with your meal. I went back again today, and it was just as awesome as the first time. Consistency like that is rare and definitely worth mentioning. I've eaten at a lot of pizza places over the years, and Two Brothers Pizza has officially become my go-to spot. I'm hoping more people discover this place--it's a gem in Huntington Beach.
