Last time I'm going here! EVER Last night ordered $82 of dinners. EGG ROLLS half filled, SPARE. RIBS tough, PINAPPLE FRIED RICE dry, SESAME CHICKEN too much gel goop dry & togh over cooked, LO MEIN CHICKEN extremely dried no oil or sauce. CHICKEN BROCCOLI good. From the past I know they nickel and dime you. Everything extra. So had to order the dry noodles which other places give real ones with the fried oil & Usually come with a meal but I had to order them so they sent only two bags, SIZE OF HALF OUNCE CHIP BAGS SENT 2 for 4 people for four dinners. THEY charged me $.80 FOR 2BAGS. Then I know I have to order extra duck sauce as they only send a few. So I asked them for the extra duck sauce which I know is an extra charge as with garlic sauce. USUALLY I GET THE ROUND 1 inch height container that hold 4oz. This is what pissed me off. They send me 2 ounces and a little cup along with the three packets of duck sauce and charge $3.75 for 2 ounces of duck sauce. The egg rolls were dry and half filled for $6/2. The chicken lo mein was EXTREMELY DRY JUST DRY NOODLES. Had to add the 3 out of 4 packets of soy sauce. Just dry along with sesame chicken over cooked and hard. Mind you EVERYTHING WAS $1.00 each more than on the current menu. Each meal was a dollar more including the egg rolls, spare ribs and dinners. Got 3 packets duck 4 soy sauce and that mustard that I always tell them not to send. For $82 it was horrible and they are Not very friendly. Must find a better Chinese restaurant

Kung Po Chicken overcooked and very few peanuts. Shrimp fried rice not very tasty - used to be great. Egg roll was good.

We did takeout from Zhangs. It's a fusion of Chinese and Japanese foods and we tried foods from both sides of the menu. Crab rangoons were good. Wonton soup was standard! Kani salad was pretty good! Sushi was what I expected and what I wanted. Overall a decent takeout spot.

Pork fried rice. Delicious. Onions could be cooked a little more. Still delicious.

Uninspired. Veggie dumplings were rubbery. Tempura banana was rotten in the middle. Try something else.

I got the California roll, the sushi gave me food poisoning. This is not authentic food, but even more so, it's not edible!

EGG ROLLS: They had a funny odor and taste--not to my liking. I decided to dip one in duck sauce and was shocked to find that the duck sauce itself had a strong vinegar taste. The egg rolls went untouched after that. SOUPS: I ordered both wonton soup and noodle soup. Both were acceptable, but neither had much flavor. The wontons were floating in a sea of cabbage, which was interesting. The noodle soup was very pale--the broth and the noodles. CHICKEN WITH BROCCOLI: The broccoli was as hard as a rock, and the chicken was as tough as shoe leather. Cost of this disaster: Approximately $35. For me, this was a one-time-only visit. I won't be ordering from Jia Mai again.

We got to chat with the owner Ping very nice gentleman originally from Hong Kong. He came to check on us to make sure everything is good that we like the food. Because it's late there's only one chef in the kitchen, the food still come out fast and excellent quality. Very good service, our server is very busy cleaning up the restaurant while still refill our water and tea and comes over to clean our table. Very polite people here. This is the best Cantonese dinner restaurants in East Coast, forget about going to flushing ny or Brooklyn if you want authentic good Cantonese food, get the real one here. Reminds me of Hong Kong Chow fun is fresh homemade, i've never had better one!! We ordered beef chow fun. Beef with bitter melon so flavorful tender beef. Steam fish fillets so yummy why something so simple so good!! 京都骨 pork chop very light batter sauce not over sweet like those in flushing/Brooklyn, no red coloring added. To die for!! I could literally eat my body weight in these! Pro tip: dip them in the spicy Chinese mustard & then into the duck sauce - sweet, heat, crunch... perfection! Just be warned, it is very easy to fill up on these before your meal even arrives! From the dim sum menu, we ordered the deep fried taro dumplings, steamed shrimp dumplings & our favorite, stir-fried Chinese broccoli with garlic. I wish we had more people so we could order more dim sum items to share! From the regular menu, hubby ordered the lunch combo #14: jumbo shrimp with vegetables, golden fingers, fried rice & egg roll. He loved it & said he would definitely order it again. Golden Palace is an easy add-on if you are at Mohegan Sun! Bonus: dim sum is available daily, which is always a win in my book.
