I had gotten a remote start for Christmas this year and wanted to get my car in to get it installed. I called them after work and asked when I could bring my car up there and they told me as soon as I got off the phone! The whole staff were friendly and very helpful when it came to explaining how the starter worked in my vehicle. They made sure I understood how it worked so I wasn't confused after leaving. This 1 star is for a Ziebart "detail" that cost $137.00. My husband dropped off this car that he bought for pretty cheap to be cleaned out and detailed to Ziebart. To be fair, it was pretty dirty and dusty and had dog hair inside. I knew they they weren't going to get all of the dog hair out because that is very tedious to do! But I figured at least the dirt and dust would be removed? I NEVER expected them to make this look like a new car, but I did expect a job that was worth the $137.00 I paid. Ziebart tells you they aren't responsible for damage, it's in the authorization they have you sign. They are horrible and treat you like crap. Be warned, take a vehicle there at your own risk, they only want to take your money! Just look at the pictures and see what they did to my Corvette. This is how I picked it up. read more

I had several services done here, all poorly done. Most problematic is a Viper remote start. The initial one installed didn't give me enough range so it was upgraded to a one mile frequency range, only to fail. Failed terribly, never working consistently. I was told by the technician that this particular system had some glitches, whatever he did, he said he PROMISED it would work correctly. It failed again. I have many videos to show The inconsistency of this remote. It's been blamed on me, on my parking locations, nevertheless I know better! Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't, sometimes I can stand right in front of it and it will not work! Instead of replacing this obvious bad unit, they want to throw me out of the store because I don't want it removed and money back, instead I wanted it to be replaced or fix! Be cautious when having ZIEBART do anything. they do not respect women. I assure you of this! Very arrogant manager, extremely threatening! Worst tint job ever!!!On February 24th, 2023 I contacted the Indianapolis ziebart location located on east Washington and post road, in regards to installing tint on my classic vehicle. I opted to choose ziebart even though they are significantly higher in price than any competitors, because of the reputation of the company for being quality oriented. I ended up paying 512.00 dollars that day and had the worst Tint job I have ever seen installed from any company. The eyebrow on windshield line is wavy and crooked with creases, the corners are peeling off all over the rear windows and to top it off they have large HOLES throughout the window tint. This is unacceptable, some minor tint issues a can be expected from any tinting company. But I paid roughly 4 times more than what competitors charge and got the poorest quality of any company I've ever dealt with. They offer a lifetime warranty but who wants to take time out of their day after they spent hours doing it wrong the first time to get it all ripped out and re done, there should be some sort of discount or compensation for taking hours out of my time to have this atrocity fixed.Photos posted. there's more damage not posted! So terrible! I have had my car there 3 times, and each time I find black tar on my seat! They clean it off and never apologize. Yesterday took it in and they charged me to clean the interior , not that I asked! A day later and the seats and carpet are still soaking wet! I found numerous issues and they slowly tried to give me lip service, and not fix what was wrong. Not only that I had to return to the store to get some personal belongings they took out of my car but did not return. That is called stealing ! I can't stress enough, if you value you vehicle, do NOT let these people touch it. I took my brand new car to these people to get rustproofing done. The result was not only an incompletely rustproofing job, but damage to my car. They took no measures to protect my car, so undercoating spray was all over the paint, tires wheels and glass. so much that it cost me a couple hundred bucks at a detailing shop to get it removed. Many parts of the paint felt like sandpaper because the over-spray was so bad. I had to pay a detail shop to get all this off the car paint, glass and wheels. They also apparently dragged a hose across my hood or something, leaving scuffs in my clear coat, I also had to pay a third party to buff the scratches out of the hood. There were dirty boot prints on my brand new leather seats and elsewhere. Just a shoddy, unprofessional, careless disaster... and in the end, my car isn't even properly rust-proofed. I took it to this location because of bad experiences with the Greenwood location when I bought my last new car. After this ordeal, I found out that both stores and many others in this area are owned and operated by the same guy. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use Ziebart. You can see the results below as I'll post a few pictures for proof. Find someone who will apply "fluid film" instead... and don't let these guys do it regardless. Never let them touch your car. When I called, they refused a refund and simply wanted me to bring the car back. No way I'm allowing them to touch it again, so I'm out of 500 bucks and still need to apply the rubberized undercoating myself to finish the job. read more

I actually went to Ziebart a week ago, but it didn't even dawn on me to do a review for them. We just live a few houses down from them and used to go all the time for detailing and undercoating and whatever we needed. They had always done a great job. Like so many we had a hard stretch and haven't been there for years. A week ago we took our 2014 Toyota Sienna for detailing. We have had our two Chihuahuas and our German Shepherd in there several times. They said they couldn't guarantee to get all the dog hair out of the carpet. So I have to tell you that they got it all out!! The leather seats look new. The carpets look new. They got so many of the scratches out of the outside!! I am so happy with their work. I also load a Powerchair into the back. My van gets a workout, but thanks to Ziebart, it looks terrific. read more

Ive been going to this location since 2012. The last time was about a week ago. They didn't go over any of my options on detailing just took my keys and looked through my car. The gentleman that helped me was nice and friendly. They cleaned my car quickly and I was surprised. The car was clean...but is wasn't very well done. My trunk was not even vacuumed. When I picked up my car..I paid and was told my car was ready. No one walked me to the car to check the work with me. This has happened in the past. The customer service made a smart ass comment about taking my mats out or my car would smell like mildew and you will be calling us to complain. I called a few days later the ask a few questions about the work...and was told they would call me..that was 4 working days ago. Still haven't received a call. Needless to say I will be finding a new place to take my cars. read more

I've been taking my black 2016 Silverado here yearly since new. I ha e the undercoat rustproofing package the interior package and diamond gloss and they are professional and do awesome work on my truck. One year I had some scratches on one side from a bush and they offered reasonably priced services to rub it out before the gloss treatment. I recommend you give them a try despite some negative reviews. My business with them has been exceptional. read more

Been going to Ziebart for years,this last time I noticed that the finish wasn't slippery at all like all the other times.I asked about it and she told me it probably needs to cure.Well I don't think that's the issue.Never had to wait for a car to cure before to feel that slickness on the paint.Terrible job and I'm really not satisfied at all. read more

After receiving a gift card to get my car detailed and confirming/making an appointment upon my arrival they didn't have my appointment nor did the package I purchased/confirmed over the phone exist. I ended up getting an interior detail and a simple wash to the outside of my vehicle. After having my car for a full day the exterior was was very poor, less than I would have received by going to a drive through. The interior was not close to expected. Windows were nearly untouched, the carpet was done well, but that is where it stopped, dash still dusty and the controls, cup holders etc still had the same dust on them when I dropped it off. I filed a complaint with the web site and store only to have the same poor service from them. I would not recommend this type of work that Ziebart offers. read more

These guys were great. Not only were they really efficient they were also incredibly friendly. They explained everything that they were going to do to my car as well as tell me about potential upgrades, however they didn't use any high pressure sales tactics or anything. Not happy with the Detail job Ziebart did on my van today, in Indianapolis Indiana Post Rd and Washington St. They kept it for 6hrs and did not clean it inside very well at all. They forgot to clean the back door. The dash had hair and dust still on it. The driver's side door had been sprayed and it ran down and dried with run streaks. The handles grips were dirty. Under the buckets seats were dirty. I pulled out a bobby pin and penny not to mention lots of dirt and debris. The door arm area where the buttons are, was dirty and had not been wiped out. When I mentioned the glove compartment had not been wiped out he said they don't do that but he would get it for me. The side step rails inside the track was full of dirt and debris. He said that is considered the out side of the car, but he would take it back in and power wash it out for me. Around all the door jams were dirty and had not been wiped down. He broke the hinge on my glove box when he did wipe it out. There are two scratches on the out side of the car that wasn't there before either. My husband rubbed the back of his hand across the carpet in different areas and they all turned his hand black! They have lost our business. We have no confidence in them even redoing their detail work and would not recommend them to anyone! They charged me $175.99 and the didn't even wash the outside of the van or wipe the rims down. read more

I took my Sabau to this shop several yrs ago, and was very pleased. So, when I purchased my Miata last month, I didn't hesitate to get it over to these gentlemen. I knew their work, and had confidence that they would do the best job possible. I was not disappointed. While waiting for my ride, I had the pleasure of speaking with a few of the guys and I must say that they were all well spoken, well mannered (asking if they could get me anything) and just overall very nice guys. I felt then, and I tell everyone, that this is the best place to take any vehicle. It's so very important to have good business' STAY on the eastside - we were all thrilled when they bought the business next to them and expanded. Great job, folks!!! read more

Terrible - Rude and Employee used bullying, intimidation on me a woman. Remote start is junk! Perhaps not compatible with my car as it drained battery a bit. Had to call AAA for jump/analysis, lose $$ and count as a call off for work. I made in in to work late. Went to E Washington st store to check out remote start.. Told me after looking at it nothing was wrong. Then when I had questions, ee threw arms up and walked away refusing to answer questions. He only said to me well it runs now. I said yes after battery is charged up by driving it. Could have this problem after sitting for a bit. Car only has 30,000 on it and remote was installed 2 wks ago. The same day went to dealer for check up, oil chg and 180 pt check. All checked out good including battery. As I was heading to door bully, rude mgr standing there and I told him that was inappropriate "bedside manner" for employee to throw hands up and walk off. Mgr was even worse. Did not care to answer my questions only to tell me this was a "plug n play". Where's the plug in I asked? Guess my technical questions hit a nerve. Bombshell: Mgr said while hostile we could remove it and refund $$. By then I am out of time and already lost work and $. I would not let them touch my vehicles again. As I was leaving and feeling very uncomfortable I said to him, why are you so hostile?? I think you could get violent. He said and I quote "yeah I can so leave now while shouting. Did he just threatened my safety? I have made other reports as I see fit. I feel he is a liability to Ziebart. I suggest he goes to a bar and speaks to a man this way and we know how that will come out. RIp off as you took my money to give me lousy service. I am not new to remote starters and was a loyal customer. My truck has rust proofing and I cannot return to that store for yearly check. Will file report with BBB and expect some compensation for my time, etc regarding this matter. Suggestion to public: don't go to Ziebart 8998 E Washington st. My truck has been sent to this store by the dealer 3 times to get the undercoating done right. (they are changing managers, but this is no excuse for quality control) First, all corners were not sprayed, spare tire was not dropped and sprayed, one side of a beam was done and not the other, above exhaust on bed not done (Exhaust could easily have been covered). The dealer sent it back before they even called me on the third time. I always check any work done, the dealer supplied me with a vehicle. I would check all work done, if it isn't done right, involve the BBB and or credit card company. They did d a good job with the spray in bed liner, I will give them that. read more

Purchased a full package (undercoat, paint protection, leather seat treatment) from Ray Skillman on a 2014 car. This shop did a horrible job, and the Manager gave the 'don't care' attitude, making one excuse after the other for why this and that was not done, or done incorrectly. I am still wiping debris from the side of my car after I drive it, one week later! Took a call to the local franchise owner to get anybody's attention and now taking my car to another location for correction. AVOID this location at all costs. The Greenwood and Plainfield store are amazing, the East Washington store should be closed until the staff learns what customer respect and satisfaction are! And sounds like the other posted review for this location, 2 years ago, was the same poor customer service! read more
