I have used the service three times to deliver labs to UCLA, my first driver Ayesha was excellent, professional, and friendly, she relieved any concerns I initially had about working with Ziply. Matt in the office, this last order helped me arrange an early morning pick up. While the app only gives 8am as the earliest option Matt told me the work around and then confirmed his driver that evening for next morning 6 am pick up. Victor was right on time and delivered right away, confirming that he could deliver an hour earlier than scheduled and calling to confirm his drop off relay the receptionist comment which he was not obligated to do. Having been an owner operator myself and a career in customer service driven business, I appreciate the reliability as much as the sincere care for the customers satisfaction. I cant stand fake friendly, I can hear insincerity a mile away. I want up front professional can do attitude and it gets done results. Being friendly is only part of it, I am getting the service I require to feel confidence in thus company. I am not crazy about yelp reviews, I have a fondness for the Better Business Borough, which actually vets and confirms legitimate complaints and concerns and works to resolve them, while a business owner pays to be a member in the BBB they have no control in the investigative process. Yelp is subject to corruptions on both ends. Any yahoo can make an unfair or unsubstantiated comment and business can pump up positive reviews....my review is not solicited. Its why despite all the positive reviews I had to wait and have a number of interactions before commenting. 100% Fast & Responsive. 100% polite & hard working drivers. Long story short, I misunderstood instructions to get a package picked up. When Jack, the delivery guy, arrived, he was extremely polite and professional--even when I told him that I had messed up. Matt was easy to work and extremely helpful in figuring out the situation. The new driver / delivery gal, Christa, immediately sent me a message after accepting the job. Now I hope there isn't too much traffic, so that she can deliver my package on time! I needed to request for an urgent courier delivery service for work. After receiving multiple quotes from other companies, I realized Ziply's was the cheapest. From Santa Monica to Beverly Hills it cost $19.29 which was extremely cheap compared to other company prices of $30-$40. Conveniently, all deliveries are booked via website and can be completed in less than 3 mins with all the needed information. Once a driver has been assigned to your service, they'll e-mail with an update of time arrival. You'll receive another e-mail when they arrive to the drop-off destination, with a scan of who signed off on the package. We used Ziply's services recently for our wedding and I would highly recommend them for any delivery services you may need! Our wedding was in Long Beach and I wanted to have a Diddy Riese Cookie bar at the wedding. I was planning to go the day before the wedding to pick up the cookies myself but I realized that going from downtown to Westwood and lugging the cookies myself was not the best idea.. I searched on Yelp for some courier services and got a couple quotes but some wanted almost triple the price of what Ziply quoted me. They are VERY reasonably priced, way worth paying for the trouble of driving into Westwood. Looking at their website, I thought they only did pick-ups on demand (not in advance) so I called Ziply got their voicemail but Matt immediately called and emailed me back. He said it was no problem to schedule the service in advance, just to put in the notes the pick-up date. I accidentally put the wrong time in my request and emailed Matt and he called the driver to update the request. Our cookies arrived on time with no problems. I accidentally left a bag at the hotel I stayed at in LA.... Didn't want to lose 2 hours out of my day driving back up to retrieve it, so I googled best courier services on Yelp and Ziply came up. I can't say how pleased I am with my first time experience with Ziply! For many years I used the big name couriers in LA, but with most things now being able to transfer digitally, I haven't needed to schedule a physical pick-up for many years. Until today that is. It took me a moment to remember who I used to use. Made a quick call to them and was promptly told that because it was "tax day" they were swamped and couldn't accomodate my job. Huh?!? Checked out Yelp and saw the stellar reviews for Ziply and decided to give them a call. Spoke to Matt and he explained that they were an APP based service and that I'd need to go to their website to place my order. Cool...very modern! Signed up, signed in, placed my order, got a confirmation, and in less than two hours I had my package in hand. The best thing of all...It cost less than half what one of the big traditional courier services would have charged! It's basically Uber for packages. It's amazing! read more

placed a package pickup at 1pm. based on their customer service number message i was under the impression they would pick up my package within an hour. The website does not let you specify time you need your package picked up. Went ahead and placed the order in hopes they were true to their word. its 3:20 pm, the driver just called and said she would be here in 20 mins. I had to cancel the order because I needed this item delivered within 3 hours from downtown to upland. Now i have to drive it up there myself and i lost half the afternoon waiting for ziply. They only respond to emails via their support address. Price was goodm service was lacking and a waste of my time. read more

I have used Ziply about 8 times personally now and many times for my Fashion Business in DTLA.  Personally I have had them pick stuff up that I ordered on craigslist, run documents to places like a normal courier, and they sorta helped me get furniture from my brother's house to my house in the valley.  I had to get christmas presents to my office in DTLA one morning before I could get there and they picked them up and had them delivered by 9 am.  I got to my office in the afternoon and all of the presents were wrapped by my assistant already and ready to hand out.  Its sort of like having a personal assistant that will drive around the city for you, because there is nothing worse than driving in LA. read more

I used this service yesterday to have a package and some flowers delivered from North Hollywood to Anaheim. All I can really say is, it was amazing. So easy to use. The driver was early to pick up my package and when I told him I was running just a little bit late, he was friendly, understanding, and waited. I was having the package dropped off at a hotel for a guest and he made sure the hotel was able to find the reservation. At first the hotel couldn't find it and he called me to see if it could be under any other name. That is GREAT customer service. And the best part, service was less expensive than all the others out there. All of this for $52. On top of it all, he did the delivery during morning rush hour. Where do I even begin? Thought this was a "24/7" courier service, yet when I call them at 1:30am the line directs me straight to a voicemail. Decided to then schedule the delivery online. That process was easy, however the online site never updates. After about an hour or so, it is 4:30am in Chicago (where I was at the time, needed to send documents to my boss ASAP), so I decide to email the company and ask them what is going on with this, then I went to bed. I then wake up at 6am CST, check online, no updates. I call the place where the documents were supposed to be picked up, they say the documents are still at their location and nobody has come to grab them. Be aware that these documents need to get to my boss by 9am. I end up just cancelling my order with the company and have an Uber pick up the documents. After the fact, the company emailed me about my status update HOURS after I cancelled my order saying they don't see my order number in the system (obviously, I cancelled the damn order hours ago. I then received a status update on my package 2 DAYS after, saying that the package was scheduled to ship, and also a confirmation of me cancelling the order. Overall, this is one of the worst experiences I've EVER incurred with a courier service, and I almost lost my job over it. Thank god I was able to contact a very helpful uber driver or else I would be writing this unemployed. WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN. read more
