The service was excellent - had no problems with drop off or pick up of the tubs. I'm giving three stars because I think the tubs themselves are not worth the investment. They are angled from bottom to top, so it's difficult to pack square/bigger items. The lids do not close fully or seal up and I was concerned that if it tilted too much, everything inside would fall out. I ended up taping all the tubs closed which defeats the purpose of a sustainable solution. I've seen people use zip ties on them but none were provided. read more

Very convenient and good for the environment! Keeps things really organized during moving and the movers appreciated how easy they are to stack and carry. For a studio move I got 25 bins and two wardrobe boxes and used every bin plus a few of my own large Rubbermaid bins. Easy to extend if you need more time and they drop off the bins right at your door (they do charge extra for stairs). This was my second time using Zippgo for a residential move, and the first time was enough to make me use the service again, but this second time was above and beyond! The boxes are sturdier and easier to use than cardboard, and they stack nicely. This second time moving, I had a lot of setbacks with other parts of my move, one of which made it so that I wasn't able to be at home for my original pickup window. Zippgo was completely understanding and accommodating about rescheduling and helping me get the boxes out of my apt with as little inconvenience as possible. We order additional dollies so we can keep up to 5 crates on each dolly & move them around, rather than stacking them on the floor to transfer to minimal amount of dollies that come in packages. We've now used Zippo boxes for two moves - I will never go back to cardboard boxes again. They drop-off the boxes at your old address and pickup at your new address, simplifying the return process. With cardboard boxes I'd have to go to a store and buy/pick them up and then figure out disposal after. The boxes are sturdy so you don't have to worry about anything delicate breaking, they stack together perfectly when full/closed and also when empty, they are reusable (unlike cardboard boxes which breakdown after a few uses). On my most recent move, I rented the plate and cup separators as well and they protected my dishes and crystal wine glasses perfectly. The plate protectors also doubled as wider bowl/art/electronics separators - you can resize the slots easily. The best part - because we need to return the boxes, it forces me to unpack everything within a few days after moving! read more

I was moving for the first time and did a bunch of research to see what I could do to make my life easier. Renting reusable moving boxes was the number one tip that I found. If you're thinking about it, just do it! My movers were able to load up 3 totes on their dollies and wheel it with ease! I found ZippGo after cruising Yelp and I'm very glad that I found them!! Great pricing, wonderful customer service & so easy! They dropped off the totes with a dolly and picked them up when my rental was over. Javier was super friendly and very helpful! I had a pickup time of 7am and I happened to be wheeling the totes to the front of my complex around 6:50 and he was already there. He politely told me that he was going to wait until 7am on the dot to call me to tell me that he was there. We had a nice little chat about the holiday weekend and that was it! I was also able to extend my rental for an extra week which was super helpful since I wasn't unpacking as quick as I thought! Overall a great experience and I will be recommending ZippGo to those in my life who will be moving locally. I will never buy cardboard moving boxes AGAIN! Moving with Zippgo boxes made moving a breeze, seriously! Why? No waste! No wasting time building, taping, cutting boxes; no waste breaking down boxes AFTER the move; no waste in our landfills; no waste of sleep, knowing that when the movers stack these badboys, the contents remain safe behind the sturdy walls of these Zippgo boxes. Raul delivered and picked up the boxes - he was polite, fast, informative - and the company was texting me about his arrivals both times. I loved their communications! I ordered the 1 bdr package - 25 boxes, with glass dividers added in. I leisurely packed for about 4 days, and returned the boxes after a week, with a free 1 day extension (I needed it). Lessons learned, and tips for those choosing packaging: give yourself more time to UNPACK, rather than pack. Remember, you don't need to account for time building boxes. AND get more boxes than you think you need. If you have extra at the end, you can pack smaller boxes in these boxes and save trips for your movers/friends - which makes everyone's day LESS STRESSFUL!! Honestly, the 25 boxes wasn't enough for all our stuff by about 8 boxes, but I think we just had a lot of stuff packed in to our 1 bdr. We ended up making several runs before our move day with these boxes in our car - we could only fit 3 at a time in the car. I swear that we could not have moved apts without Zippgo..100% for the prompt delivery,. The boxes are sturdy and can withhold good lot of weight. There is a trolley which could be rented/comes along with the package which makes the moving job much easier. ZippGo is amazingly convenient. It was recommended to us by a friend because we hate the environmental impact of cardboard moving boxes and the hassle of setting them up and breaking them down. ZippGo boxes are reusable and come ready to pack. The boxes come with built-in handles and lids, and also include zip-tie locks. There were several different customizable options to choose from as well, including dish dividers and glass separators. Everything was dropped off at our moving point and picked up from our new location. The boxes were clean and easy to stack, which made the move go so much quicker.
