This is good quality pizza. New York Style Pizza is nothing new, even for California, but their product is consistently very good. I love their unique dishes: Pepperoni Roll, Cinnamon Knots, and my favorite: Thai Chicken Pizza. I've been going here since 1998 and I still enjoy it every time. read more

I've been coming here for years. The pizza is great and the beer is good. I did recently discover their "Provolone Special". Instead of marinara sauce they use ranch dressing. I know, I know.....ranch dressing, but don't gross out, it works. Try it. You'll love it. read more

Great food at a not-so-great price. The lasagna and pizzas are definitely satisfying but run upwards of $13 for the smaller portions. Don't bring your date here unless you're willing to spend. But it's great for a relaxing night out while watching sports and drinking beer. read more

Food overall was ok, pretty average in comparison to other pizza joints like this. I agree the prices were a bit on the higher end as well. We had a mini zito's special pizza, wedges, small cobb salad and a drink. My total was $27. Came here for early Sunday lunch, just after 11am. Maybe it was still early, but there was no one here while other restaurants were buzzing with lines of people. I've been here once before, so I just thought maybe people don't want pizza for brunch! We were met by a cashier who could care less if we were there or not, the attitude was a total debbie downer. We had the baby stroller with us, so we chose to sit in an area to the right of the kitchen, nice and bright with no traffic so baby stroller wouldn't inconvenience others. Dirty tables, we had to wipe down a bunch of Parmesan cheese and crud. At a quick glance, at least 2 of the 4 tables were dirty like ours. So I agree with the other reviewers that service is pretty poor here, clearly reflected in personnel and cleanliness. When we got our food, it was served in all disposable paper plates, aluminum foil and plastic cake pans. We didn't order to go, we ordered in so I've no idea why this place would waste so much money on disposable and create so much extra trash when they can use real dishes and utensils. It also looks really tacky, like you're not a legit restaurant. By the time we left, only 2 additional small parties had come in to eat while the diner across the alley had 8 parties alone outside, didn't even count inside. Come on Zito's, you can do better. read more

I ate here a bunch of times in law school, but tonight I returned for my first time in 2-3 years. Nothing has changed. It's still slight over-priced, decent pizza, nothing special but a reliable albeit greasy standard. Would I ever go out of my way to go here? We had our food delivered to a Fairhaven memorial . When we called we gave specific instructions to call us when they got here to not disturb the front office but instead they did so and didn't fallow the instructions given. read more

The pizza was tasty--good sauce, nice crust--but the staff! They stood around in the middle of the restaurant talking about their shifts and other drama that goes on in the restaurant, like how one year someone broke the mirror in the women's bathroom. Great location. Patio is shared with the Thai Eatery & Jalapeños but isn't overcrowded. You have the option of eating inside or outside. My wife and I shared a Caesar salad (nothing special but still good) a personal/small pepperoni pizza (so good!!! can't wait to come back!!) & fettuccine Alfredo with crispy chicken (very good!) nice little dinner date for under $27. Pizza is good, but the customer service is shitty! The employees who work the front counter and answer the phones have major attitudes. I don't know how they are still working there. I LOVE the food here, but I recently had a horrible customer service experience there so I won't be going back. I placed a pizza order for take-out and it was made incorrectly - not just slightly wrong but completely. The girl behind the counter acted like "Oh, well," without even offering to re-make it, discount it, something. I was about to leave when, at the last minute, she offered to give me a complimentary salad - any kind I wanted and she'd make it herself. I explained that I didn't have time to wait for that but I'd gladly take a pre-made house salad. She put one in a bag and sent me on my way. I realized once I was gone and sitting down to eat that she gave me no utensils and/or the dressings that I asked for. Incredible. read more

Called in the order on a Saturday night thought it would take forever but only 20mins which is great. Got there the pizza was ready and looks delicious. Got home and the pizza was amazing, will definitely be coming back here soon. read more

Customer service is terrible here I came in to get my pick up order and everyone at the register was just staring at me and not asking me "how may I help you?" Not even the manager !!! He was too busy counting money. Then there was another rude guy wearing white and a black hat that does even do anything. I would only say there was one nice guy who eventually helped me. I think this place is pretty enjoyable. Their salads area pretty large (even their "small" size) and the pizza is good. Greasy, but good. It's a tad bit on the expensive side, but the staff is friendly and during the week they have a great pizza-salad-drink special. Just wish they sold slices of pizza on the weekends too, as that is generally when I come out to eat. read more

Do yourself a favor and do not order delivery from this place. Have been ordering food from here for over 6 years and the quality and quantity is below standards. I finally was so frustrated and submitted a complaint on their website and while I received a courtesy response, they have not changed at all. The pizza dough has been left almost raw, the pizzas are cute in a hurry and not even, I order avocado and onion in my pastrami subs and they arrive with almost no pastrami. They have delivered orders that are incorrect or missing items and when I call they say do you want us to take the missing item?, like no I'm calling to complaint but don't expect it to be corrected. If you really want a zitos pizza, I suggest you drive to the zitos on Tustin ave.. they do know how to make appropriate food. The location in the orange circle needs to clean house and hire people that will represent the company correct by making the food right and treat customers with great customer service! read more

I went here a few months ago for a friends lunch get together. We ordered two pizzas and some garlic knots. One pizza was pepperoni and the other was cheese (for us vegetarian folks). I too have experienced the Rudeness of that what I now suspect is the former closing manager. I was with the group Chris K was with for the incident he described, and for a while after did not want to go back for about a month, but dammit the pizza at zito's it's that good that I went back but it was always rushed and not enjoyed to the fullest. Then one week the grumpy night manager was nowhere in sight. Sweet relief!! we could drink our beer in peace and not have to chug it because he wasn't watching us like a hawk. I know it's a bit rude to stay a little after a place closes, but the group i go with we are weekly regulars and have been for now 4-5 months and everyone gets something we drop a pretty penny here each week. that maybe can buy us 10 min inside and 30 outside if we are just finishing up the last of our beer so we are not in the way of them cleaning up. The new guys they have are awesome , he comes out and says hey guys i am closing up my register in 20 if you want anything come on in! if not, no rush finish up! so sweet! Wow, I'm totally a fan of Zito's! I don't ever really crave pizza, but Zito's might change that. My work ordered Zito's for our intern training, and it was glorious. I really liked the BBQ chicken pizza because the flavors were bold, and there was a good ratio of sauce to toppings. Also, the pizza dough itself was nice and fluffy. Will definitely be ordering pizza from Zito's in the future! read more

Zito's has the perfect meatball sandwich. And I don't like meatball sandwiches. The Italian sub is good too. The large cheese pizza is fantastic. They really cook the cheese, and the sauce is very herb-y and flavorful. The Zito's Special is a great pizza. Try the meatball, onion, and mushroom. You probably won't have leftovers and you'll forget all about other pizza. read more

The pizza is awesome! We always get the medium cheese and half order of garlic knots. Perfect for two people that are hungry. Do not get the "small" pizza apparently it doesn't exist!
