The food is really good! The service sometimes takes a while for them to start serving, but i understand that they need time to restock and clean. It can be a little bit expensive, yet you can tell the food is fresh so I feel it is worth it. I feel like ordering in person is the way to go if you have time to wait in line. I feel like the portions are a little bit bigger when ordering in person. Also, they are less likely to forget anything from your order that way. I would stay away from this location, their customer service is horrible especially Isaac, he had a very poor demeanor throughout the interaction. He came across as rude, irritated, and uninterested in helping customers. His attitude alone greatly impacted my experience. The portions were noticeably small, and when I politely asked for a little extra, I was met with looks and attitudes that made it seem like the food was coming out of the employees' personal paychecks. Guests should not feel uncomfortable asking for reasonable portions at a restaurant they're paying for. The cashier was the only employee who made any effort to be friendly. Management needs to do a better job training employees on customer service and hospitality. People come to CAVA not only for the food but also for a positive experience. I got the build your own bowl with a side of pita bread. the protein i got was harissa chicken which was an extra $2. the dips and spreads I got were tzatziki, red pepper hummus and harissa, which I fairly enjoyed with my pita bread when making my little bites. Overall, the food was pretty good and felt super healthy. Today was Day 1 for this location and I'm so glad I was able to stop in. The energy in there was full of excitement and nerves as they served their first round of meals to guests. Everything went fairly smooth for just being open a matter of hours and aside from the balloons out front and the extra employees and personnel standing around, business went seamlessly. We ordered a build-your-own bowl and a chicken wrap. Both were absolutely delicious and I love all of the customization possibilities with the build-your-own bowl. And of course, we couldn't forget the side of pita. There is PLENTY of parking available right next to them. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. Fortunately So Cal weather was doing its thing today and we opted to sit outside. There are umbrellas to shield you from direct sunlight. My only gripe is that there isn't a trash can outside so you have to go back inside to put everything away. I will definitely be back especially since work within walking distance of them. I've ordered delivery from here probably over 4 times and it's been good (or so I think) every time except today because I found a piece of steak?? in my veggie bowl. I don't eat meat and some other animal products for health reasons and this is completely upsetting because I haven't had meat in over 6 years now. The worst CAVA experience. I like their location in South County better. I was there at 11am, excited to have a CAVA near me. They opened 3 mos ago - took over the Rubios space. I was moderately greated by a gal busy packing a large online order. The only other employee was a blond lady. On the phone. No smiles. They made me wait 5-7 minutes. Then i started placing my order. She gave me so little of the eggplant. The unlimited toppings is not unlimited, she keeps giving me less and less. She defended herself that she has to be able to close the top (smash all my food) or there is an extra charge. Also if you mix bases, extra charge. I got steak. No warning $3.50 up charge, I asked shouldn't it be $12.25? She said steak is premium and extra charge. She is like the sign is right there. I walked over to the sign, it's way below eye level. The menu at the top says "ANY PROTEIN" and UNILIMITED TOPPINGS. I looked at her serious face, and decided nah. I am not going to be forced to pay more than what is advertised. She also did NOT give me my desired amount of toppings. VERY INHOSPITABLE PLACE. Wow CAVA hire some people with smiles, caring attitude and a spirit of hospitality. Morning ruined. First time visit. The food was very good and healthy that's for sure. We walked in and got in a long line that moved fast and we got our food and were sitting down in probably 7-10 minutes. We did have to clean our own table and never saw anyone come out to clean tables or anything. We both had a chicken bowl with lots of extras and the prices are ok compared to other places that serve chicken bowls and don't have nearly the amount of food and extras that we got here. There's not much seating here but we did get a booth but every time the door was opened which was constantly you get an ice cold wind across your table and the store. Service was very polite and fast and did not skimp on portion/protein size. The drink i had was the Cucumber Lime drink was incredible. Honestly how are Cava chains so inconsistent. I was praying this one was going to be good since it's closer to my house than the one in the Hills. Cava usually is a nice place and I enjoy going there and sitting in the clean atmosphere. This time I had my brother go pick up some cava for us. While things were cooked well he clearly asked for the garlic sauce and shug sauce for mine. (He doesn't know which sauce is which because I usually can go order for myself, also HE DOESNT WORK THERE) They lied to him and gave him a red sauce, they lied and said it was shug sauce! I am sensitive to spicy sauces and they put SO MUCH all over it. I do not have a sense of smell, so I gave it a mix since I was willing to try something new, since for some reason the shawarma chicken is gone (mistake since that's one of the best items). My stomach hurts and so does my mouth. There's a CLEAR difference between red and green and even if you're colorblind the sauces have the names written on it!! I don't know if they were having a bad day but that's messed up. It costs so much to buy a fricking bowl and you think it's ok to prank someone? Thanks for the stomach pain that's gunna last a week. Wasted money on food from here. Orange location is terrible!!! Don't go here if you have food sensitivities. I had to look online to find out it was the spicy harissa vinaigrette. I am super dissatisfied with the results of this location. Firstly, me and my family were not greeted as we walked in and an awkward silence as we were ready to order. When we did order we were highly disappointed with the amount of rice that was given, barely enough to cover only the base of the bowl. It was uneven ratios between me and my family and was told that we need to pay an extra $1.50 for an extra scoop of rice. It soon became worse as they ran out of particular sauces like my favorite the lemon herb tahini dressing and extra toppings like corn, lettuce, mixed tomatoes and cucumbers and so on. As any bowl, we always get a side of pita bread. Unfortunately like the rest of the items they were not provided. We asked for a discount due to the limited options and loss of pita but was only told "no sorry". That was their famous line as they were unprepared and managed improperly. To top it all off, I paid a $4 drink for a cold lemonade. No ice, no lemonade, dirty tables and no warning given. It sucks having a company with great food but poor management. Love Cava. Been to this location and the one on Santa Ana Canyon plenty of times and have never had any reason to complain. Last night was a little different. Granted, they were very busy. I ordered my wife and I a bowl to go and got all the usuals. When I asked for sauce they gave the smallest squirt I have ever seen. I'm used to the top getting a good amount of sauce, so I asked for more. The person doing it gave a little bit more, but still nowhere close to what I'm used to being given at Cava. I asked the person at the cashier "sorry, can I get some more sauce please?" And he responded "ya but I'll have to charge you." I understand paying more for extra meat, I don't even complain when they charge for extra rice. But extra for sauce?! Shocked I responded "charge extra for sauce?" I love going to this Cava because they are consistent with the portions. One specific time I did an online pickup order I had an issue with the app. The manager, Brandon, resolved it quickly and appropriately. I have had great experiences with the rest of his team as well. I am sad that Brandon is leaving. I'm hoping the next manager that replaces him will be just as nice and great with customer service. A new franchised eatery in the city of Orange specialized in Mediterranean style food. We visited there on a Thursday around 11:00 am. It was its special pre-opening test run for registered guests. The place is just like other Cava franchise, relatively small with inside seating but has outside seatings that are quite open. Food is served on a bowl with your selections from a variety of grains, veggies, meats, salads, toppings and dressings. We tried the lentils and brown rice. Both were good. With meats we selected lamb, falafel and the house special shawarma chicken. The meats were not up to par, the chicken was dry, the lamb gamey and the falafel mushy. We also tried the pita chips. They were tasty but unfortunately over fried. Selective drinks were available. We tried the pineapple apple mint, jasmine green tea and unsweetened black tea. They were good as they all did not have excessive sugar. Over all, the servings are adequate but the meat selections need improvement. read more

Today was our fourth visit, and we were hoping for a better experience since we love the CAVA in Anaheim Hills -- but unfortunately, this was the worst visit so far. I ordered a "Make Your Own Bowl," and the server barely gave me any lettuce. When I politely asked for a little more, she said, "It will cost you more." The salad itself was wilted and stale. For my daughter's bowl, they gave her the wrong sauce and tried to convince her to keep it instead of correcting the mistake. We won't be returning to this location again.
