Zito's has been feeding me since I was a freshman at Chapman way back in 19-tickety-2! It's been a few years since I've had Zitos. We decided to come into the plaza location and dine in for a change. The service was fast and friendly as usual. The food did not disappoint! As delicious as they've always served, and perfect with the couple of draft beers we paired with our medium order of the Zito's Special pizza. We ordered more to-go for my daughter at home. I love that zitos is open late night on the weekends. Family pizza meal is a great deal. Got a large 2 topping pizza, dinner salad, desert knots, Irish potato wedges, and a bunch of sauces on the side. Everything came to less than 50 including tip. This spot is a staple. I still remember trying it for the first time at a sleepover when I was about 10, and declaring in my infinite wisdom that it was the *best* pizza spot. When I started at Chapman University back in 2013, it was the only pizza spot in the circle (though there were two other italian spots.) Fast forward to 2015, and Blaze and Pizza Press opened their doors. I was sincerely worried because Zito's is a bit hidden away and isn't really the cheapest -- I didn't want my favorite place to go under because these newer chains decided they wanted to duke it out. Ten years later, and I'm delighted that Zito's has survived. And so has the flavor! The texture of the cheese is *perfect:* Do you remember watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a kid and wanting that perfect cheese pull after watching the turtles chow down? Zito's has that magic pull. I don't eat meat anymore, but I do still dream about that garlic bbq chicken pizza Even better than the food is the fact that this shop feels like it truly cares about the community. I remember popping in one day and noticing a photo on the wall, because I recognized the kid in it from an org I worked with. I can't remember if he was somehow related to the owner or just a regular who was obsessed with Zito's, but they had him learning how to throw the dough. I know that there's more than one location, but seeing that picture really solidified for me that Zito's has something that the other pizza businesses in the circle don't -- a strong sense of community. It's the kind of pizza spot that you go to after your kid's little league game, and Old Town Orange is lucky to have it. read more

A vendor brought our office pizzas from this location. I had already eaten, so I took a couple slices home at the end of the day. It tasted great reheated. There was plenty of toppings. I do enjoy Zitos and plan to dine in at this location soon. The service and ambiance are always great. read more

Great tasting pizza (Zito's Special 9/10) and garlic knots (9/10). There was a lot of ingredients spread out nicely on the pizza so that each slice encapsulated all of the tastes and flavors. The price is a bit high for the pizza but it was delicious and filling. I loved that the girl helping ring me up offered to carry my food to my car as I was holding my granddaughter at the time of pick up. I didn't catch her name but she was very thoughtful and friendly. Nice seating area along with some patio tables as well. Parking is a challenge but there are a few spots in the back to just run in to grab your take out. Overall, a great experience! read more

WOWWW!!!! Stop scrolling because this is THE place. Amazing doesn't even cover how good their pizza is. The crust is just right and you can watch them make it - and all your food - after you order. Lots of toppings and plenty of cheese to keep it all together. Be sure to try the pizza roll - a veritable meal on its own. This tasty treat is incredible! Lots of cheese and pepperoni with being a greasy mess. Get BOTH the red sauce and ranch - you'll want more. I could eat their fresh made ranch with a spoon - it's THAT good. Pay the $.50 or $1 and enjoy every single drop. Casual and easy, everyone went out of their way to make our experience fantastic. Like they have known us for years, even though it was our first time but NOT our last. Zito's pizza, oh how I love thee. None other can compare. I'm not sure how busy it gets during the day, but the parking lot and place wasn't busy when we went at night. The location is also super nice; it makes you want to walk around and explore the rest of Old Towne Orange. The pepperoni pizza was yummy, and it had so many pepperonis. It wasn't the absolute best pizza I've ever had, but it was still really good and well-priced (we got a 16" box for around $20 and ranch is 50 cents). My students recommended Zito's to me as the best pizza in Orange Circle, so I had to try it. During a particularly stressful day, I stopped in to get Zito's for lunch and opted for a pepperoni pizza slice. The service was super quick, the vibe was very old school pizzeria -- it reminded me of some of the pizza places I used to go to in NYC. When the pizza arrived to the table, it was piping hot, fresh from the oven. The pizza was old school and delicious! Walked by this restaurant by chance while at the Orange Circle and was immediately drawn to the view of mouth watering pizza through the window. Though there are several pizza options within walking distance, I hands down recommend Zito's Pizza. Walking in, you order at the counter and then self seat. The waiters bring the food to your table. Paper plates are available on the side. The ambience reminded me of my childhood local pizza parlor. Nothing fancy, but always tasty. The pizza was absolutely amazing, especially the sauce. I love this place, pizza so yummy! You have to try, nice portions and nice workers. (5 Stars) If you're looking for legit, old-school pizza, Zito's Pizza is the spot. The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside but soft inside, and you can tell they don't skimp on toppings. The cheese melts just right and the sauce has that classic, slightly sweet flavor that makes you want another slice immediately. The portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh. I also like that it has that family-owned, neighborhood vibe -- it feels welcoming and not overly fancy. Great place to come with friends or family and just enjoy good food. The salad didn't taste fresh, tasted like the prepackaged lettuce. The meatballs were okay but the marinara sauce really felt like the canned/bottled stuff. The bbq pizza was good and the pepperoni seemed to be good my daughter ate half of it. She said the pep was a little spicy, so fyi for the Littles who can't handle the spice. The wine did not taste good, might have been an older bottle, not sure. I would say stick to the pizza when eating here. I have been eating here weekly for almost 20 years. Lately my 35$ pizza is always too dark, hard and dried out. I specifically called on 1/26/25 and requested that they do not cook it well done. When I got there, the pizza was hard, overcooked and exactly like I did not want it. I complained, the girl looked at it and sad "well, it's not burned" For 36$ it was horrible. We threw away the leftovers which we never do. I'm so disappointed. I looked forward to my delicious pizza every week. You are going to lose business. A lot of your customers are repeat customers and deserve better than this. I wish I would have taken a pic. read more

For starters I have been a Zito's customer for over 25 yrs starting at the Tustin & Meats location. I've been to to this location on Glassell in more recent years and prefer it over the other locations. The young adults that work here are very nice here and are always sure to greet you and have great hospitality. They are ready to serve with a friendly smile and remember you from the last time. I miss Jake here but I appreciate Tyler and the other workers here. The food is always delish at Zitos and although its pricey we continue to come eat here. The food and workers are top notch here. As I sit here at the Zitos location, I'm disappointed in my food quality and customer service overall. I've come here and order in from this Zitos location for years and haven't been is dissatisfied - there were several hairs in our wing order and when we let the staff know, we were questioned until we showed them the other hairs found! The pizza was undercooked. lastly, the restroom had no paper towels, which was the final straw for my elderly father. It's safe to say we will no longer be coming back. Zito's is great. We frequently order pizza from here because both their crust and sauce are amazing. You can even buy just the dough and make it at home which I think is brilliant if you want quality pizza on-hand at home without the delivery fee. I also love that you can do ranch as the base instead of pizza sauce. We had a very minor issue with the accuracy of our last order (the first time we've ever had an issue). I called and spoke with the manager. I simply wanted a credit for the missing half-toppings and the manager went above and beyond with our resolution which made me appreciate zitos even more. Also - FANTASTIC ranch. The price may be a touch higher than your national chains but it's well worth it both for quality and service. read more
