Recently my son was in Dallas, Texas for a summer internship when the compressor, alternator, and battery needed replaced. As we searched for a replicable repair shop, we located ZMM and because of their reviews, we made contact with Emilio and George. After locking in the price for the repairs which was fair and consistent matching the initial quote they provided, we ordered the parts, and had the car towed to the repair shop. Once the parts arrived, they remained in communication and kept us updated throughout the process, explaining what needed to be done an estimate of how long it would take, and why. A day later they contacted my son and said the car was ready. On the way back to Dallas, the vehicle stopped on the highway. Emilio and Jorge were very apologetic and said return the car. On Friday, August 9, 2024, we had the car towed back to the shop. On Saturday, August 10, 2024, they diagnosed the car and communicated that an additional part was needed nothing major. We received a call within an hour that the car was ready and no additional charges. We picked up the car and drove it with no problems. Two days later, my son drove the car back to Atlanta, Georgia with no issues. If you want honesty, integrity, communication, friendly staff, and excellent customer service I recommend ZMM because car repairs can be stressful and overwhelming (especially when you from a different state and not familiar with auto repair companies) Overall, we are very satisfied with the team and service that we received at ZMM. I can't speak to their quality/value of the work but Yelp messaged them automatically as I was looking for a mechanic and they were very responsive. Would've tried them out if they weren't 40+ minutes from my place. Feels like their first review which was a 1 star isn't very justified so just leaving this review to counteract it. People need to realize mechanics aren't fast food workers and new problems may be discovered as they are working on the vehicle or after their work which may delay initial estimated time for completion. Jorge and his team went above and beyond to fit me into their schedule, even with a major repair on the table (engine mount replacement). I decided to wait while they worked, and though it took some time--understandably for such a big job--the experience was seamless. Their lobby was comfortable enough for me to get some work done, and by the time they were finished, my vehicle was back to running perfectly.
