We were excited to try this place based on the reviews but I'm honestly shocked there are good ones. They did mention an entire new staff so maybe that was the issue. The coffee was tasteless. It took 30 minutes of us waiting for our food for us to ask about it to only find out it had been sitting out on the counter because they thought "we had left" when we were sitting directly in front of the counter the entire time. They have a pastry counter that's enclosed and gnats flying all in there. I definitely would not suggest trying this place when there are so many other great ones around. Hope this helps someone when deciding where to eat and get coffee! read more

I came here to do a photo shoot, but stayed extra long for the food! I tried the chocolate pumpkin bread and the turkey pesto on ciabatta that is made fresh atna local bakery and their pesto is made in-house and was to tasty!! I love pesto and this was no exception. Besides the food, the owner is wonderful and kind and the staff is super nice and helpful too! The whole experience and cafe is was warm and welcoming and I would definitely come back! read more

Well I ordered here specifically to cancel out the review of that Karen bellyaching about some nonsense about not getting a stamp or whatever, but unfortunately they were not able to meet the 5 star rating I was hoping to give them. :-( Firstly, please please for the love of god take that Breakfast Burrito off your menu. I get you're a coffee shop you're not working with the full capabilities to cook certain things. So you just need to know when to fold em and not even offer the item to begin with. See I pictures if you are curious about what I am referring to. Anything practically paper thin should not in any universe be called a burrito. The audacity. What did that cost you to make? 50 cents. I was lucky enough that my bf had made himself beans with dinner last night so I was able to stuff some of those in there and with enough hot sauce no just throw $10 down the toilet but sheesh it was pretty terrible. As for the coffee, what excited me about it was 4 shots standard in the mediums. Any Time I visit a Starbucks or any other coffee shot I always get extra shots in my lattes. Well bummer there is no option to get a dairy free milk. I know in 2021 there's not an actual coffee shop out there that doesn't stock at least one option. No place to up charge for a dairy free option anywhere. (I ordered delivery) now I hate milk HATE it, I'm not lactose intolerant (that I know of, I do produce a lot of mucus when drinking milk but I'm pretty sure we all do that's what milk does to us) I have been on dairy free milk since I was 15. Just about 20 years ago. Anyways I put in the notes to please sub a dairy free milk because honestly I would rather drink nothing than a milk latte. Gross. Well low and behold a milk latte was delivered to me. I'm not sure if I couldn't taste the 4 shots because al I can taste Is milk or what, maybe they don't actually add 4 shots. Either way the latte was milky and not good. The reason I gave 3 stars...my very first taste of the honey bear latte (honey and cinnamon) before the milk had a chance to assault my palate was good. So I believe there is hope here. I would probably only order from the actual shop so I can ENSURE only dairy free milk is used. And two I would probably try their pastries or sandwiches, you know things they either outsource to buy or have a kitchen equipped to make. But please take my advice and don't even LOOK in the breakfast burritos direction unless you want a morning filled with heartbreak read more

Delicious coffee and wonderful service. I had a soy latte with lavender and honey (yum!) and my husband got a cinnamon roll coffee with almond milk (warm with a hint of spice). We also had a couple breakfast sandwiches: the hubby got a bagel sammy with turkey, egg, and cheese for a little over $5 which, for the amount of turkey they put on it, was well worth the price. I went with a croissant sandwich without the meat and although I kinda wish I'd asked for a couple slices of tomato or some greens, it was still quite good, as the melty cheese and creamy over-hard egg contrasted nicely with the flaky, toasted croissant. The vibe inside the cafe was nice, too. They have a little used book shop, seasonal decor, and comfy seating, as well as some local flair. Definitely a place I look forward to visiting again! read more

My husband and I are in town visiting from STL and we were fortunate enough to discover Zoe's in between landing and checking into our VRBO. It has the best coffee shop atmosphere and we highly recommend the Carmel macchiato's (with homemade Carmel sauce) and bagel breakfast sandwiches! We have been back a second time and I doubt we will leave Denver without a third trip! Thank you Zoe's for making us feel so welcome and at home away from home! read more

Zoe's Coffee Is locally owned and so charming!!! You still get friendly service from this neighborhood gem. They make quiches and some desserts in house. This is my go to locally owned coffee shop. The owner is a delightful and friendly woman and her puppy Chai is a staple. Ask for the dog show. You won't be sorry! Whether you want a quiet place to work, meet up with friends or just enjoy a good cup of coffee- you cannot go wrong here. Highly recommend! read more

This coffee shop is absolute heaven. A place to slow down and enjoy a creative latte (so many flavor options) and a delicious pastry, quiche (I picked a piece of the crust before I grabbed a picture ) or breakfast sandwich. I want to start by echoing previous reviews that commented on the service. The two baristas I encountered were very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to answer my coffee questions. I ordered the "Salvador" from their fall 2020 menu and thoroughly enjoyed it! If you like a touch of cinnamon in a full body mocha coffee, this is the drink for you. Concerning COVID safety measures, seating inside was limited and the tables are sanitized, all customers are required to wear masks, and the staff were wearing masks as well. I found my way into this adorable coffee shop just yesterday. I'm very very new to Colorado, having just moved here all the way from Alabama, and as a passionate coffee lover, I like to try all the local spots. I found the atmosphere incredibly warm and inviting, intriguing local art on the walls, and I had the most wonderful conversation with Judy, the owner. I loved it so much that I had to go back today, and I tried a caramel latte today because they make their own caramel sauce from scratch! Absolutely blew my mind when I tried it. It was honesty the best caramel i have ever tasted. Such a burst of pure flavor that isn't processed. AND their oat milk and almond milk is made in house, too!! All of their ingredients are clean, and that was so wonderful to hear and learn about when I asked, but even better to taste! I love this place, the people, and the energy in it read more

The staff is extremely friendly and their food and drinks are worth coming back for. I got the cinnamon roll iced latte and it was really good. I love the syrup that they put around the cup, it really tastes like a cinnamon roll. I also got the chocolate croissant and it had a perfect amount of chocolate in it. Normally chocolate croissants barely have any chocolate but this one was great. I recommend getting it warmed up! read more

We were in Colorado to visit family and wanted to stop and get coffee. Google the closest coffee shop with best coffee. We both ordered our usual lattes and I also ordered an espresso con panna to go. The coffee was terrible! It was so bitter and they didn't even know how to make an espresso con panna that was a featured drink on their list. Their food was good but the coffe was terrible. We where totally disappointed with our experience. What a waste! read more

I live close by, so I'm in here semi-regularly. This morning I came in around 8AM and Judy the owner was by herself, but helpful to each person that came in after me. Later in the day, I realized I left my water bottle on the counter while I was waiting for my coffee. I called them up on the phone to make sure it was still there and to tell them I'd be by later to pick up. Judy and Chai (the therapy dog in the shop) kept my water bottle safe for me all day. Great customer service and coffee to match every time I'm in here. 5/5. read more

I was in the area and happened to run into this little cafe. This place is super cute the ladies behind the counter are too sweet. Both ladies are always smiling and very helpful. So they told me any there selection of holiday drinks. I found one for me the naughty and nice latte. It was just right not too sweet but very tasty. The muffin quiche was just the right size just enough to get you going and they are made fresh daily. Just so you know they also have free WiFi ask for the password they will gladly share it. I forgot how much I love local coffee shops! Not only does Zoe's have amazing coffee and food, but the atmosphere is wonderful. Need a nice place to work? A place to catch up with an old friend? Go to Zoe's Coffee! Between the adorable Italian theme, the mini library, and the gelato, there's no better place to hang out. And the owners, absolute gems! Judy told us the story of their business, named after their granddaughter, and showed us a bunch of hidden gems. It's better than Starbucks. Unfortunately, the staff this afternoon was very untrained. I ordered the Macchiato straight off the menu. Was asked what size ... however, the menu only shows one size. I think they thought I wanted a Caramel Macchiato ... but alas I wanted a REAL one. So I love watching the espresso process and good thing I did as I actually had to explain how to make a Macchiato. The lady serving me was super nice. She just hasn't been trained enough and the guy working with her also said he would watch as "I won't be getting a Macchiato today since they don't know how to make one." Also said she should hand me the steamed milk and let me put my own foam in. Here's the thing... if your menu has a Macchiato listed, then your barista should know how to make it. ESPECIALLY when RIGHT ABOVE the Macchiato the menu lists "Lattes for purists" as a menu item. You can't both offer drinks for purists (I'm one - go ahead and hate me) and then not know how to make them. And to top it off - I ordered decaf as it was late in the afternoon and the decaf is pre-ground. So disappointing. This place is nice and with some good training I could see this place branching out and becoming a franchise. Gentleman working did ask me later if "the drink was OK" and I replied yes because it was. But is was just OK. A few mins later he brought me a taste of the nitro cold brew they just started serving. Caramel Rose or something like that??? Weak, didn't taste good, and none of that great mouth feel you are supposed to get from nitro. I have high hopes for this place ... maybe this is a one-off experience here? I came once before around 2 or 3 years ago and recall not returning as I didn't enjoy my first trip. read more

We don't live in this area but happened to be walking on the Dry Creek trail and decided to stop in. The people are very friendly and customer service is great. The treats are made here and not the usual pre-packaged stuff you get at the chain coffee stores. The Bourbon Pumpkin bread was wonderful. I LOVE this locally owned coffee shop! The menu is great and includes gluten-free options and organic teas (in addition to the coffee, of course). The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is so inviting. The staff are kind, friendly, and on top of it. The owner and her adorable dog are a delight! History

Established in 2005.

Zoe's Coffee began as a Coffee Koisk in the City Hall at Westminster. Then during the downturn of the economy, Judy and Vaughn were ask about also opening a koisk in another public building, the new Commerce City Civic Center. Because it felt a bit risky, and they both had other full time jobs, we chose to close the koisk at Westminster and moved to Commerce City. In 2012, Zoe's Coffee continued to grow and in 2012, a full service coffee shop, near the corner of 112th and Federal, opened in Westminster. We continued to keep the location in Commerce City.

Meet the Business Owner: Vaughn and Judy Z.

Upon leaving the City of Westminster after 32 years of service, Vaughn wanted to try something new. Judy has been and continues with her interior design business as well as helping out at Zoes. They have over 8 years of experience in the Coffee business and expanded in 2012. What Vaughn and Judy enjoy most about their business is the opportunity to make new friends and provide an environment conductive to business and families.

I really like this "Grandma & Grandpa" shop. Upon entering, look to the right and you'll see their story on the wall. Its a cute story of grandparents naming their coffee shop after their granddaughter (hence my phrasing earlier) Its pretty darn good coffee. Their vanilla latte is solid, their raspberry carmela is beautiful. Their sugar free raspberry leaves a lot to be desired (it was recommended to me by one of the baristas there...dont fall into temptation!) while their cinnamon roll from a local bakery was decent. Overall they have a good experience. I gave a four because i've met 4 of the employees (possibly an owner?) and 1 older gentleman seemed like they knew nothing about how to do their job. Other than that everyone else was great! i'll definitely be returning from time to time. read more

On a business trip in Westminster and was on the hunt for a good local coffee shop to grab a drink& breakfast before my client meeting. So glad I chose Zoe's! As soon as I walked into the cozy little cafe, with tasteful decor and the smell of baking bread, I was greeted warmly by the girls behind the counter, Nancy & May, who welcomed me with a smile. Since it was my first time in, they gave me an overview of the menu and told me about their new holiday drinks. I chose the gingerbread latte & a croissant breakfast sandwich. The ladies were efficient and friendly, chatting with me while they made my drink/food. Latte was perfectly delicious, you can tell they really care about coffee . They make pretty good lattes and cappuccinos. They have a nice ambience. They have a nice-little homemade food items. I remember a woman was unable to give me credit for going there towards their rewards card. I came back later and asked if they could add the credit then; these little concessions give people something to look forward to. She refused. So I don't go back. I refuse to meet clients or business connections at that location when they want to meet there. Integrity means everything to me and this lack of integrity resulted in my loss of trust. She was unable to credit my latte and when I came back a few days later, they did not honor it. I am not going back ever. Burn me once, shame on you; burn me twice shame on me. read more

Zoe's is a wonderful Mom & Pop coffee house with a great selection of modern, popular coffee drinks and delicious food, most of which is made in house. The owners Judy and Vaughn are warm and welcoming. They remembered me after just one visit and take the time to chat with and get to know their regular customers. The setting is quite and cozy with a comforting fireplace and even a friendly little pup. I would give this coffee shop a 10 star rating if I could and encourage everyone to check it out over the local Starbuck or other big name coffee chain. I love Boudin 's and I could survive on a desert island on their bread alone. We chose to have lunch upstairs in the dining area and had a great view of the wharf. Had garlic fries as our appetizer and they were terrific. I usually go for the clam chowder in a bread bowl, but I decided to try the Mushroom Risotto. It was very good, but had I known there would be onions in it, I probably would have gone for something else. I fish tacos and loved them. It is touristy but, it's on the wharf. What do you expect? Definitely take time to check out the bakery and walk through the gift shop. read more

Zoe's is a very fun place to go. The owners are absolutely addorable and are there to make your visit what you want it to be. The Cinnamon rolls are fantastic and the sandwiches are prepared fresh for you. There are lots of choices of drinks from great coffees to teas, lemonade, etc. Whenever I go there I find people working on their computers and enjoying the surrounds! The staff used to be really great and friendly in here but it's not as friendly anymore. Seems very chaotic older lady (I think the owner) who is very rude and abrupt. She was more concerned about getting me to have a ceramic myth than getting my order right, which she got wrong. She proceeded to get other orders wrong whilst being rude to her staff.
