We were excited to try this place based on the reviews but I'm honestly shocked there are good ones. They did mention an entire new staff so maybe that was the issue. The coffee was tasteless. It took 30 minutes of us waiting for our food for us to ask about it to only find out it had been sitting out on the counter because they thought "we had left" when we were sitting directly in front of the counter the entire time. They have a pastry counter that's enclosed and gnats flying all in there. I definitely would not suggest trying this place when there are so many other great ones around. I tried the chocolate pumpkin bread and the turkey pesto on ciabatta that is made fresh atna local bakery and their pesto is made in-house and was to tasty!! I love pesto and this was no exception. Delicious coffee and wonderful service. I had a soy latte with lavender and honey (yum!) and my husband got a cinnamon roll coffee with almond milk (warm with a hint of spice). We also had a couple breakfast sandwiches: the hubby got a bagel sammy with turkey, egg, and cheese for a little over $5 which, for the amount of turkey they put on it, was well worth the price. I went with a croissant sandwich without the meat and although I kinda wish I'd asked for a couple slices of tomato or some greens, it was still quite good, as the melty cheese and creamy over-hard egg contrasted nicely with the flaky, toasted croissant. The vibe inside the cafe was nice, too. They have a little used book shop, seasonal decor, and comfy seating, as well as some local flair. I get you're a coffee shop you're not working with the full capabilities to cook certain things. So you just need to know when to fold em and not even offer the item to begin with. See I pictures if you are curious about what I am referring to. Anything practically paper thin should not in any universe be called a burrito. The audacity. What did that cost you to make? 50 cents. I was lucky enough that my bf had made himself beans with dinner last night so I was able to stuff some of those in there and with enough hot sauce no just throw $10 down the toilet but sheesh it was pretty terrible. As for the coffee, what excited me about it was 4 shots standard in the mediums. Any Time I visit a Starbucks or any other coffee shot I always get extra shots in my lattes. Well bummer there is no option to get a dairy free milk. I know in 2021 there's not an actual coffee shop out there that doesn't stock at least one option. No place to up charge for a dairy free option anywhere. (I ordered delivery) now I hate milk HATE it, I'm not lactose intolerant (that I know of, I do produce a lot of mucus when drinking milk but I'm pretty sure we all do that's what milk does to us) I have been on dairy free milk since I was 15. Just about 20 years ago. Anyways I put in the notes to please sub a dairy free milk because honestly I would rather drink nothing than a milk latte. Gross. Well low and behold a milk latte was delivered to me. I'm not sure if I couldn't taste the 4 shots because al I can taste Is milk or what, maybe they don't actually add 4 shots. Either way the latte was milky and not good. The reason I gave 3 stars...my very first taste of the honey bear latte (honey and cinnamon) before the milk had a chance to assault my palate was good. So I believe there is hope here. I would probably only order from the actual shop so I can ENSURE only dairy free milk is used. And two I would probably try their pastries or sandwiches, you know things they either outsource to buy or have a kitchen equipped to make. But please take my advice and don't even LOOK in the breakfast burritos direction unless you want a morning filled with heartbreak read more

I found my way into this adorable coffee shop just yesterday. I'm very very new to Colorado, having just moved here all the way from Alabama, and as a passionate coffee lover, I like to try all the local spots. I found the atmosphere incredibly warm and inviting, intriguing local art on the walls, and I had the most wonderful conversation with Judy, the owner. I loved it so much that I had to go back today, and I tried a caramel latte today because they make their own caramel sauce from scratch! Absolutely blew my mind when I tried it. It was honesty the best caramel i have ever tasted. Such a burst of pure flavor that isn't processed. AND their oat milk and almond milk is made in house, too!! All of their ingredients are clean, and that was so wonderful to hear and learn about when I asked, but even better to taste! I love this place, the people, and the energy in it read more

The staff is extremely friendly and their food and drinks are worth coming back for. I got the cinnamon roll iced latte and it was really good. I love the syrup that they put around the cup, it really tastes like a cinnamon roll. I also got the chocolate croissant and it had a perfect amount of chocolate in it. I want to start by echoing previous reviews that commented on the service. The two baristas I encountered were very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to answer my coffee questions. I ordered the "Salvador" from their fall 2020 menu and thoroughly enjoyed it! If you like a touch of cinnamon in a full body mocha coffee, this is the drink for you. Concerning COVID safety measures, seating inside was limited and the tables are sanitized, all customers are required to wear masks, and the staff were wearing masks as well. We were in Colorado to visit family and wanted to stop and get coffee. Google the closest coffee shop with best coffee. We both ordered our usual lattes and I also ordered an espresso con panna to go. The coffee was terrible! It was so bitter and they didn't even know how to make an espresso con panna that was a featured drink on their list. Their food was good but the coffe was terrible. I live close by, so I'm in here semi-regularly. This morning I came in around 8AM and Judy the owner was by herself, but helpful to each person that came in after me. Later in the day, I realized I left my water bottle on the counter while I was waiting for my coffee. I called them up on the phone to make sure it was still there and to tell them I'd be by later to pick up. Judy and Chai (the therapy dog in the shop) kept my water bottle safe for me all day. I was in the area and happened to run into this little cafe. This place is super cute the ladies behind the counter are too sweet. Both ladies are always smiling and very helpful. So they told me any there selection of holiday drinks. I found one for me the naughty and nice latte. It was just right not too sweet but very tasty. The muffin quiche was just the right size just enough to get you going and they are made fresh daily. Just so you know they also have free WiFi ask for the password they will gladly share it. It's better than Starbucks. Unfortunately, the staff this afternoon was very untrained. I ordered the Macchiato straight off the menu. Was asked what size ... however, the menu only shows one size. I think they thought I wanted a Caramel Macchiato ... but alas I wanted a REAL one. So I love watching the espresso process and good thing I did as I actually had to explain how to make a Macchiato. The lady serving me was super nice. She just hasn't been trained enough and the guy working with her also said he would watch as "I won't be getting a Macchiato today since they don't know how to make one." Also said she should hand me the steamed milk and let me put my own foam in. Here's the thing... if your menu has a Macchiato listed, then your barista should know how to make it. ESPECIALLY when RIGHT ABOVE the Macchiato the menu lists "Lattes for purists" as a menu item. You can't both offer drinks for purists (I'm one - go ahead and hate me) and then not know how to make them. And to top it off - I ordered decaf as it was late in the afternoon and the decaf is pre-ground. So disappointing. This place is nice and with some good training I could see this place branching out and becoming a franchise. Gentleman working did ask me later if "the drink was OK" and I replied yes because it was. But is was just OK. A few mins later he brought me a taste of the nitro cold brew they just started serving. Caramel Rose or something like that??? Weak, didn't taste good, and none of that great mouth feel you are supposed to get from nitro. I have high hopes for this place ... maybe this is a one-off experience here? I came once before around 2 or 3 years ago and recall not returning as I didn't enjoy my first trip. read more
