This company went above and beyond your imagination with accommodating special needs that I have never experienced being offered such a kind no extra fee service so I would not feel uncomfortable with my special need involving temporary disability when it comes to driving a car They work with another great company which involves repairing your front windshield window in which the newer cars a lot of them have to be recalibrated if they have special sensors in which mine was that type of car. The other service came to my house and put in the new windshield and then the other company normally has you drive your car to their place however in my case I explained first it was too far to drive for me from Phoenix to Tempe Arizona and 2nd I told him about why I cannot drive at this time. Without hesitation the customer service representative I spoke to from this company stated she will have one of their workers personally drive over there with another worker so he could take my car with the other worker following behind and get the job done and bring my car back the same day fixed Sure enough they did what they promised but more praise to them for volunteering to do that service for me free of charge. My insurance company also highly recommended the company before I said yes to them after reading reviews. Ripped out our master bath (shower) 5 months ago and never finished the job. Despite having "the best insurance company to work with", these guys were incapable of basic customer communication to restore our bathroom. They were quick to tear apart our entire master shower, and then pass our project along to 4-5 different "managers", all of whom visited our house in various states of disorganization. One was outright rude, one misquoted the project to our insurance and later quit, and the last one (Jeff) was pleasant but clearly very overworked and not able to communicate effectively. The demolition portion of the project was quick and efficient and those guys were great.....the rest was a complete disaster. This company is NOT suited of managing "renovation" style projects where you may want to upgrade or change anything. read more

I was recently removing our old vanity and upon removing everything saw something that looked like black mold. Zona restoration was recommended to us and when we spoke to the they went over the process with best and worst case scenarios. By Friday Chris came to our house, explained what he was going to do, he was courteous and professional and even went as far as calling me when he came up to the door because of our "baby sleeping" sign so he wouldn't wake the baby. I work with the owner Aaron c. He was very responsive to get my business. I never even left a phone number after he got paid by the insurance company. I never spoke to him again and he did a terrible job on our home. He broke the bathtub and it was a very expensive whirlpool bathtub and when I told him to reimburse us and pay us for the bathtub, he refused. I would definitely not recommend this company and I think that they're really kind of ripping the customer off I I would heed my complaints. Stay stay very very far away from Zona restoration. I would never recommend them to anyone I know family or friends. They are horrible people . WARNING! AVOID! I had a minor flood in my house. Somehow the insurance company chose Zona Restoration to do the restoration work. They didn't bother to check in with me, the owner, during the process, only after they wreaked havoc and it's been a nightmare ever since.They tore out almost everything, even when it obviously wasn't necessary (maybe just go get more money from insurance?). They threw away custom cabinetry that had nothing wrong with it, threw away knotty alder trim that was custom made and sanded and finished that had no issues, and greatly increased the replacement costs. They ripped out drywall where there was absolutely no water damage. Removed sprayed foam insulation where the water didn't even reach, and did it all without even checking in with the owner of the home (me). A tiny guest house with a small flood, know what they charged for this? Over $25,000. read more

Professional, friendly, and courteous. These guys made an appointment, showed up on time, and got to work right away. Beware! Do not use this Company! I hired them over a year ago, and it has been a complete nightmare! They took about nine months to finish renovating my home! It takes four months to build a house why on earth would they take nine months? I would show up to my property there would be no one there I would have to constantly call them and follow up to see why there's no one working on my property! He's overbooked and will have his guys go to more important jobs until you call him I even gave them $15,000 of my own money out of pocket when my insurance covered it! He put a lien on my property and when I paid him he's suing me again for more money! If you want to keep your house do not hire him I will provide all the documentation that this person has made my life a living hell for the past year and a half ! During early April 2021, I contacted Zona Restoration company to mitigate restoration at my home due to a water leak. I contacted Zona solely on the recommendation of R House Realty. After assessing the damage, Zona contacted my insurance company and planned to setup restoration equipment. Then estimated it would take six to eight weeks to complete restoration and repairs if they were given the project. My home was being leased to tenants at the time when a pipe burst and cause a leak that went undetected for a period. I informed Zona the tenants were mostly moved out and I needed to get the home ready to list for sale as soon as possible and again they assured me it would take no more than eight weeks to complete the project. Zona ripped out floors, walls, ceilings, closets, cabinets, doors, and other fixtures and left my home in a state of ruin for more than seven months. During a historically prime selling period in Phoenix, I pleaded with Zona to complete the project. I complained to Allstate to get them to put pressure on Zona or allow me to select another vendor but was declined. Allstate urged me to keep working with Zona. All potential buyers who looked at my home were frightened off by the structural damage during that seven-month period. The appraised value of my home has dropped from $750,000 to a current value of $660,000. The work is still not complete as of 2/15/2022. read more

We discovered a leak in our master bathroom that went under the floorboards of our closet and master bedroom and just created an absolute mess. I've never had to deal with something like this and when I reached out, I spoke with the owner and CEO Aaron (which is nuts bc when do you ever get to speak to the owner of a business?) who was just the kindest and most knowledgeable person in the world. He walked me through the entire process, including working with my insurance, the adjuster, and they have their own public adjuster which is incredibly helpful in maximizing the insurance payout, and they do all the demo and reconstruction. Aaron sent out Edward and Nick and I can't say enough good things about both of them. Super professional, extremely efficient (they moved everything out of our packed master bedroom in less than 30 minutes with no damage to anything!) and they're just such nice dudes. I have 3 dogs and every morning that Ed shows up he always takes time to say hi to them and pet them and that is just the coolest thing. Aaron and Zona have created an incredible corporate culture and they have hired the best possible team you can imagine. I will always recommend them moving forward to absolutely everyone. I do not recommend Zona Restoration to anyone! BUYER BEWARE that when they give you a quote it DOES NOT include any additional repairs to dry wall or other items. Zona Restoration never offered to repair the huge hole that is now in my wall and threw away the base board that were removed in the mold removal process. After calling and offering to pay extra for an expedited fix, I was rudely excused saying there is no way that could be done, and I should have been more aware of the fine print on the contract. Do not use Zona Restoration if you enjoy working with honest, forthcoming companies. Lesson learned! read more

My house flooded during a storm in July. I had damage along the entire east wall, which includes the master bath, kitchen, laundry room, and a bedroom. I was given a quote of 10,000 for just the dry out from another company. I was quoted less than half that price by Zona. They did an amazing job at a much more reasonable price, and they did everything they could to help me keep costs down because the flood was not covered under homeowner's insurance. They did multiple tests, paid for a 3rd party test, had excellent communication with my tenants, AND they did all the build-back work. Finding mold in multiple places in your home is stressful enough when you have elderly persons, an infant child, and pets that either live in, or frequent the home. Searching for a mold remediation company was almost equally as stressful!! I found Zona Restoration (ZR) on google and chose them based on their reviews. I signed the contract. ZR tested and confirmed my home also had asbestos, (did I already mention I was stressed out?) and I requested them to begin my remediation project ASAP on an agreed date. Chris handled my project. Although he mentioned the company is going through the busiest surge they have ever experienced, he never gave me excuses. He made things happen. My project was completed. I had some concerns. Chris sent out Shelby within 15 minutes to look at the issue. Shelby understood my perfectly and I never had to repeat myself. He brought things to my attention that I had missed. I cannot say enough about how PROFESSIONAL, HONEST, and GENUINE he was! I was extremely impressed with this young man. (I am not easily impressed). Shelby had to come back to fix my issue the next day, and needless to say he did a wonderful job. He was fast, efficient, and thorough. THANK YOU Shelby. The entire or process took 3 weeks. It wasn't supposed to be super long, but like I said, I had mold in multiple areas and additional issues. I knew my project was being treated as an emergency type situation. During these three weeks, I called Chris. Every.Single.Day. On some days, I called him before 8am and up to 3 times a day!! (Yes, I have double checked this on my phone log history). Chris never ignored my phone calls. He answered every single time I called and followed up with me. He personally came out when the project was finished (his second time out to meet me) and addressed my initial concerns. I joked to him about being his most difficult customer. Of course he denied it, and remained professional, polite, and smiled whenever I saw him in person. Eventually, the owner, Aaron came out for the project. My project was a unique case for ZR and was escalated to the top. They have never had a situation like mine happen and wanted to ensure all my issues and concerns were resolved. I was blown away when I met Aaron. He is a young professional that is years ahead of this time and has the type of integrity and wholesomeness even the Dalai Lama could learn from. Aaron went to great lengths to make sure I was okay. To say that Aaron and his team at ZR restoration "went above and beyond" would be a substantial understatement. This company is based on some of the strongest morals I have ever encountered. They were so thorough and really came through on my project. This is the type of company we need to support to strengthen the fabric of our society. I truly felt they took care of me like family. If possible to give negative star I would. I don't even know where to start. They will give you a great sales pitch and how great they are and fast they will get done. I had water leak in my condo. I found them online and decide to give the a chance. After that is was all excuses and down hill from there. It took weeks to get them to start the project. I was given a schedule and they took at least 3 month late. Every week the would tell they are working there or starting a piece. I would show up at the end of the day. They never showed up. The so called project managers say they know. But they have no clue. The other part of the problem is the quality of workmanship is horrible.
