I had mold on my garage ceiling from a roof leak. Called Zona because of its high Yelp rating. I was really impressed with the quality of people Zona sent out. They were all friendly and competent. Zona removed part of the sheet rock and washed down any areas that might have mold. Nonetheless, their air test showed there was still mold around. So, they cleaned it again, and the garage passed the air test. Zona has a construction division to restore areas they dismantle. I had them rebuild the ceiling portion that had been removed. The rebuilt ceiling looks like new. These are really good people to deal with. read more

These guys are one of the worst restoration companies ever their project manager Kenny is totally dishonest he hire a second and third-party contractors he uses laborers that he picks up from Home Depot to do most of the work while he supervises if he's not out running errands like the counterman that he hired to do the job at my home which turned out to be completely disastrous. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy they seriously suck plus the cabinet guys that Kenny hired were a husband-and-wife team that came in in the evening to do our cabinets with no level steaks no shams no wedges everything was unbalanced just giving everybody out there a heads up do not use these guys read more

He got the basic information and had his technician, Shelby, contact me. Shelby was here (on a Saturday) in less than 1 hour. Zona Restoration is a life saver! Of course you hope you never need to use services like theirs, but it is sure nice knowing they are around just in case! A couple weeks ago I came home to find that the drywall covering my patio awning had collapsed and landed on the garden hose spigot, breaking the plumbing and causing a leak right at the wall. To stop the leak I had to turn off the water to the entire house. I called Zona Restoration and they sent a plumber out at 8:30 at night to stop the leak so I could have running water that night. The next day they came back and completely repaired the hose spigot, and even gave me estimates for several other repairs I wanted done to my house. Hi, I had an excellent experience working with Zona Restoration. I had some concerns over mold in my shower, and so rather than just have one company do the testing I scheduled two companies to test after looking them up in AZ Board of Contractors, the BBB.org and anywhere else I could find on the net. Zona Restoration did a much better job as they did both an air quality test in the shower and another one outside so that I had something to compare it to. A 3rd party lab provides the results and since Zona Restoration provided the lab results. Aaron from Zona Restoration was very understanding and helped me understand the numbers that I was seeing. After a weekend away we came home to our whole house flooded with water. Zona Restoration was there to help immediately with the dry out process. Thomas was assigned as the project manager for dry out/demo - we cannot say enough good things about Thomas. He was there every step of the way, always available by phone to answer our many questions and concerns, explained everything to us in detail, helped make the process as smooth and quick as possible, and alway had a positive attitude. Zona did lead and asbestos testing (which both came back positive) and they took extra care to make sure everything was done right. Spencer handled the insurance side of it and worked with our adjuster to get a fair repair quote. Spencer was just as great to work with, always very nice and available to answer all of our questions about the claim (he has an insurance background so he is very knowledgeable about working with the claims adjuster). Following a water leak in our bathroom, our plumber found mold in the wall and recommended Zona Restoration. Seven or eight different guys from Zona Restoration came to our house (everyone but the EPA) - two cut our walls and carpet and treated the mold - one sealed the area with plastic - one brought out a HEPA filter - one removed the HEPA filter - one tested the air for mold spores - one came for a final inspection (I think one more may have come, but I lost track as there were so many guys). At first, I thought it was a bit overkill. But, in the end, I was very pleased with the results, and now feel safe that there is no more mold in my walls and carpet. While there were a lot of guys, EVERY ONE of these guys was very professional and happy to answer my many questions. Angel and Miguel did the majority of the mold remediation - they were SUPER! But, they were ALL very good at each of their jobs. Later, I spoke with a different plumber who also said that Zona Restoration was the best. Their guys were the only ones calling me and letting me know what was going on. Not the renter company.... But Zona!! Due to a leaky faucet, we had a large puddle of water that had accumulated on our kitchen floor overnight. We had Zona come out to assess any leakage into the floor underneath. We had contacted a company before ZONA based on a Google search. When that company came to our home, they were in unmarked vehicles, looked at our situation and scratched their heads. They even called for backup. It seemed that our issue was very straightforward, but they clearly were not 100% sure on a game plan. Sensing that something was not right, I called a very reliable source of mine in the insurance business and she said to immediately send the other company away and call ZONA. Within just a short period of time, Jason from ZONA came out; he was very very professional, looked at our home and confidently came up with a game plan. He got to work right away and helped us feel at ease. He stayed into the early hours of the evening as he wanted to make sure all of the work was done right. As the next few days unfolded, they came as they promised, on time, with a professional crew, vehicles and equipment in tow. Their owner, Aaron, even came out to take a look at the house first hand. These guys are great! I called after having some water damage in a kitchen. Shane answered and got someone over the same day to put fans on the cabinets and start the drying process. After drying out the kitchen they rebuilt a cabinet for me. I can think of better ways to have fun than fixing water damage but Shane made the process as pain free as possible. We returned home from a 10-day trip at the beginning of March to water damage and mold in our home. The plumber we called to locate the leak recommended Zona and we jumped right in after reading several positive reviews. We first worked with the mitigation side of the business - Thomas was fabulous. On top of being pregnant with 2 small kids in the house AND the Covid-19 situation, I really wasn't crazy about having to tackle this at the time, but we had no choice. Thomas got his guys out quickly to handle the mold remediation, and made special efforts to keep the mess contained to the one hallway where the damage had occurred. He kept in excellent contact with me throughout the process, and reassured me in a time when my stress levels were through the roof. The next step in the process was the restoration. We were paired up with Robert for this, and his contractor was Richard - who was very good. These guys knew our sense of urgency in getting the project completed before the Stay at Home Order was issued, and they jumped through hoops to get everyone scheduled within a short amount of time. I am a property manager and one of the rental properties I manage was flooded in August 2018. The plumber who repaired the leak that was reason for the flooding recommended zona restoration to do the clean up and restoration. It was a most horrible experience from start to finish...poor communication throughout and the focus seemed to be entirely on trying to get more money out of the insurance company than to complete the job. After 4 months and after paying half of the estimated cost upfront, the job had barely started and nobody at Zona was willing to finish the job since they were still only focused on getting the insurance company to increase the initial estimate. My client, the owner of the property, fired Zona and demanded a refund of the portion of the upfront money for the long list of items that had never been started or completed. Nobody at Zona has returned repeated calls to get this issue resolved. I am utterly appalled at the lack of professionalism and dishonesty displayed through my working with this company and will warn anyone who considers working with them. read more

The lady on the phone was very kind I told her our issue and she put me on hold briefly so she could talk to someone to see how fast she could get them out to my house. She came back on and made an appointment for between 9 and 10 the next morning. The gentleman called the next morning at 8:30 and said he was about 20 minutes away. We took him to the place where our water heater had left damage and he assessed the damage, he did a few tests and then said that we wouldn't need any major work done in that spot, we'd just need to get some fans and dry the area as quickly as we could. My husband went to pay him and he said not to worry about it because he could visually assess everything and see that there was no mold because we had caught it in time. He said that the business wasn't there for our money but to make sure that we were in safe conditions in our home. Fantastic company!!! They have a customer for life with us! read more

Zona recently completed a full gut reconstruction of my condo after it was flooded. I fired my first contractor because they were not responsive which led to me finding Zona. I wish I would have found Zona right away because they were responsive and had guys working on my place within a day or two of agreeing to work with them. One of the best things I liked about Zona is that they used the same software to estimate costs as my insurance company. It can be a real hassle if you have to negotiate a settlement with the insurance company and then again with a contractor for what they will actually do the work for. Zona knew my insurance guy and that made things much easier on me. Aaron was always available for questions and helped guide me through the process. I think they did good work and I was happy with the way things turned out. I would recommend them since they are honest in their prices and will get your place put back together quickly. read more
