This is the largest of all the locations. It is at the Redwood City Stanford facility. Haven't had any of their food yet. Just coffee. On this visit, I just had the iced coffee. Very good. It is only open till 3 PM.

I've had better coffee for that price...and breakfast burrito was cold

Meh. Coffee was not all that great. Not much taste and the breakfast burrito was cold. They get an extra star for the convenience of being on site.

Horrible taste for breakfast plate!!! Just look at the eggs!! With soggy and wet hash browns and water boiled sausages!!!!

Horrible taste for breakfast plate!!! Just look at the eggs!! With soggy and wet hash browns and water boiled sausages!!! Absolutely gross and Not properly prepared it looks like just defrosted with some frozen signs!!!! Very rude cashier and no customer care services. The cashier charged me large coffee instead small size and extra charge for creamer.

I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with a side salad instead of the fries. The sandwich was good, but not quite great. I think it could have used a little more spice to really live up to its name. That said, the bun was incredibly fresh, and the chicken was coated in a light, crispy breading that had a great crunch without being greasy or dried out. While it didn't completely wow me, it was still a very enjoyable meal. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.

On that note, what drew me to check out this spot for the first time was the restaurant's own description of themselves, one that stood out from pretty much any I've heard before: "Counter Point Café is a modern eatery that cultivates reflective and restorative moments for the solo visitor and large party alike." Those two words to describe the cafe's intention for its ambiance -- reflective and restorative -- drew me to check it out for a first-time lunch with a friend. A couple weeks later, I can say the environment delivered! It was really clean, open, and serene. We ate inside the cafe, but the outside area was super nice too. This isn't a place to go out of your way to have a dinner date, but for lunch or brunch with a date, a friend, or a group of friends, it's perfect. Especially if you want the opportunity to have a deeper conversation. As far as the food, it was good for the price! My buddy got the chicken sandwich, which I've gotta try next time - it looked incredible (pictured below). My Philly cheesesteak was also good. Lastly, the service from the staff was A+! Very friendly and personable. I would shout out the guy who helped us but his name is escaping me at the moment. Only possible complaint I have is the music was a tad loud for a place aiming to cultivate reflective moments for conversations, reading, journaling, etc. If they are willing to turn the music a bit down or play instrumental music instead, I would totally come here again for some solo time to read or write! The aesthetic is eye catching with vibrant Frida Kahlo murals and a really bright, colorful interior. I tried the tamarind drink with Chamoy, which was absolutely delicious, and my boyfriend really enjoyed his cappuccino; the coffee quality here is definitely good. The drinks are a bit on the pricier side, around $7-$8, which seems pretty standard for the area. This cafe is located close to the Cinemark Century Redwood Downtown 20 and XD movie theater so there's usually a crowd walking around this area and exploring different restaurants. However, our visit was a bit awkward. We arrived around 6:20 pm, thinking they closed at 8 pm, only to find out they close at 7 pm. What was really odd was that most of the chairs and tables were put in a way so you couldn't sit on them, and the girl working there seemed eager to get people out. When we tried to order, the person behind the counter mentioned they weren't making any sandwiches, only drinks. It felt a bit awkward, especially since several other people were turned away even before closing time. While I don't want to blame the cafe entirely, maybe it was just an off night for that staff member, it would be helpful if the closing times were clearer, or if they just put up a sign if they're planning to close early. Despite that, I'm keen to go back and try more of their drinks, hopefully at a time when they're more welcoming!

This visit I also tried the iced Chai Abuelita. It was okay... not bad, but it didn't have me planning my next visit around it. My only complaint is... my wallet cried a little. After tip, a 16 oz drink and avocado toast came out to about $32. I know inflation has everyone in a chokehold, but whew... that's a lot for breakfast. At this rate, the avocado better start paying my bills too. Lol The atmosphere is super cute, the staff has always been friendly, and I'll definitely keep coming back for that avocado toast... just maybe after checking my bank account first.

This Yemeni-inspired coffee spot offers such a unique and welcoming Arabic vibe that immediately made me feel cozy and at home. The service was incredible. Fast, efficient, and super kind. The spacious interior and abundant seating make it perfect for working or studying, and the fact that it's open until 11 pm is a huge bonus. The Wi-Fi is incredibly fast, which is essential for getting tasks done. While I didn't get to try the pastries, they looked absolutely delicious. I did, however, indulge in a caramel macchiato, and it was hands down the best I've ever had. Far superior to anything you'd find at Starbucks or Pete's. They truly nailed it! This place is not only great for productive work sessions with beautiful Arabic music playing in the background but also for catching up with friends. It's a hidden gem in my area, and we were lucky to find it not overwhelmingly full. I love the authentic and unique atmosphere here; it's truly a special place.
