    Bacon, egg, and cheese bagel
    Aaron V.

I'm going to give them a solid 3 here. It's somewhere I'd go again simply because they got the job done for me. The bagel was decent, seemed like they were almost undercooked. The bacon and eggs were solid. The cheese was probably a bit overwhelming in this one. The place is a pretty standard bagel shop. We went here since it was the highest rated in the Menlo Park area. The service was quick, called 5-10 minutes before we got there and the food was ready and fresh. Has the feel of an old bagel shop that's been there a while which I can appreciate. Cheers!

Love how fresh the bagels are! My go to is the lox and bagel. This place is generous with the lox. Service is fast and the personnel are kind. The place could have an upgrade and maybe make it look a bit nicer.

The tables are crammed into a space too small. The bathroom was in need of a cleaning. 3 bagels, 1 with peanut butter, one a blt, and one a turkey $35. Oh two bottles of water too. The bagels were fresh and tasted good.

Sundays bagel selection with Pumpkin bagels as a special

We had a quick but pleasant experience here. We needing a quick bite of food for the fam with very little time and got exactly that. Check to see if they have any seasonal bagels because the pumpkin ones looked amazing. Wish we saw them before we paid. Bagels were fresh, options were plentiful, the service was friendly and quick. The bagel sandwiches looked amazing. I had a little fomo from not ordering one. Ambiance is super casual. The seating inside was a bit tight but there is outside seating options as well which makes up for it.

Good bagel but nothing really special. They had a good variety of bagels, some unique ones like pesto or cinnamon crunch that looked good, but overall they were just pretty okay. A little confusing how their menu had so many things crossed out, price changes, etc. Price was about $5 for a bagel with cream cheese.

This place was open early and had no line so I popped in and grabbed a sesame bagel with nova lox and cream cheese. It was really good, but wasn't the type of bagel I was thinking about. It's more like soft bread, which is delicious but again, not like the chewy bagel I was expecting. The gentlemen running the shop were very kind and some locals trickled in while I was there. They already knew their order which goes to show it is a nice local joint.

These guys are great in person but will ALWAYS miss your order if you order online. I'm so sick and tired of them forgetting cheese on my sandwich. They know me well in person but can seem to pay attention to simple details. If you can't follow instructions online then I suggest taking your business off DoorDash. Stick to in person. You're ruining relationships. This happens too many times. Come on guys.

TLDR: I really liked this place! Came by for a casual breakfast sandwich with a friend and this cafe served the basics really well with no frills. They serve coffee, bagels, bagel sandwiches, actual sandwiches, some limited pastries, and more. They had a really impressive assortment of bagels! FOOD: I got the bagel sandwich with egg and sausage on any bagel of my choice. I chose the pesto bagel and the combination of everything together was amazing. I would highly recommend. My friend loved her pesto bagel with the vegetarian egg filling. SERVICE: The people who served us from behind the counter seemed really nice! They were patient and handed us our food with a smile. ENVIRONMENT: There's both indoor and outdoor seating here and lots of parking around. The indoor tables are mostly small tables for two people. The inside is nothing fancy but you have everything you could need and it felt relatively clean.

Bagel street cafe has a large option of bagels to choose from and the service is very fast and nice! It's a great spot if you are looking for a quick and delicious breakfast!

Wanted a quick and easy lunch. I have actually been craving a good bagel so we came here for lunch. We both ordered the breakfast bagel - egg, cheese and your choice of meat (bacon for the both of us) + my husband added avocado to his. Plenty of options for the bagel - asiago for us. We also got an Izzie and it was around $20 dollars total. We sat outside on one of their two tables. The other was taken. There was some flies swarming around which didn't make sitting outside that nice. We both enjoyed our bagel sandwiches though. Unisex bathroom for customers only.

But after an early-morning appointment at Stanford, I was looking for a place to sit down and eat for a while--and I'm so glad I chose Sweet Maple. I had two scrambled eggs, which were cooked perfectly, and the brussels sprouts and potato mix was so good that I'm still thinking about it. It was savory and lightly salted and caramelized in all the right ways. I also had the Millionaire's bacon, which wasn't overly sweet and perfect with my breakfast. The ambiance is friendly and professional, and the decor shows that it's a bit more of an upscale place--which was reflected in the service I received.

Perfect timing -- by the time we finished our drinks, our table was ready, so the wait didn't feel long at all. The menu had so many tempting options that it was a shame there were only two of us to try everything. Next time I'd love to bring more friends along so we can order more dishes to share. The service was wonderful -- our server checked in on us throughout the meal and was genuinely friendly. The plating was really creative too. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the chicken & waffles combo was such an inventive pairing -- very Instagram-worthy. Overall, a really enjoyable meal. Can't wait to go back with a bigger group!

My eggs were poached perfectly, the blueberry pancakes were topped with fresh blueberries, and powdered sugar with just combined together, took the flavors to the next level. However, we parked in the lot and were able to get a seat right away. Despite having a stroller, nobody asked if we needed a booster seat/high chair, so I went to go get one myself... We ended up ordering two of the Joanie's Breakfast Medleys, mine with french toast and chicken apple sausage, and my wife's with pancakes and bacon. Although it was a decently sized plate, I guess I expected a bit more for over $25...the french toast was like two halves of one slice, but the chicken apple sausage and potatoes were good. Coffee was nice as well, and they kept coming by to refill, which was nice and needed. However disaster struck when one of the waiters knocked off a tray from a ledge right by our table. The tray crashed onto our table and spilled water, hot coffee, and creamer all over me, and our under two year old who started crying. I rushed over to check for burns from the coffee, but luckily it was okay. After the clean-up I was waiting to see if anyone might come by to ask if anything was needed, let me know if I could get more food since I wasn't entirely finished, or at least apologize and comp our meal. Unfortunately I didn't get any replacement food, and they brought the bill and mentioned that we didn't have to pay for coffee...$68 pre-tip was a little upsetting after our experience, even though I know accidents can happen... Of course, later on I smelled spoilt because of the creamer/milk that was still on my clothes after walking around the Farmer's Market...lovely...
