    Bacon, egg, and cheese bagel

I'm going to give them a solid 3 here. It's somewhere I'd go again simply because they got the job done for me. The bagel was decent, seemed like they were almost undercooked. The bacon and eggs were solid. The cheese was probably a bit overwhelming in this one. The place is a pretty standard bagel shop. We went here since it was the highest rated in the Menlo Park area. The service was quick, called 5-10 minutes before we got there and the food was ready and fresh. Has the feel of an old bagel shop that's been there a while which I can appreciate. Cheers!

Love how fresh the bagels are! My go to is the lox and bagel. This place is generous with the lox. Service is fast and the personnel are kind. The place could have an upgrade and maybe make it look a bit nicer.

The tables are crammed into a space too small. The bathroom was in need of a cleaning. 3 bagels, 1 with peanut butter, one a blt, and one a turkey $35. Oh two bottles of water too. The bagels were fresh and tasted good.

Good bagel but nothing really special. They had a good variety of bagels, some unique ones like pesto or cinnamon crunch that looked good, but overall they were just pretty okay. A little confusing how their menu had so many things crossed out, price changes, etc. Price was about $5 for a bagel with cream cheese.

These guys are great in person but will ALWAYS miss your order if you order online. I'm so sick and tired of them forgetting cheese on my sandwich. They know me well in person but can seem to pay attention to simple details. If you can't follow instructions online then I suggest taking your business off DoorDash. Stick to in person. You're ruining relationships. This happens too many times. Come on guys.

Bagel street cafe has a large option of bagels to choose from and the service is very fast and nice! It's a great spot if you are looking for a quick and delicious breakfast!

This place was open early and had no line so I popped in and grabbed a sesame bagel with nova lox and cream cheese. It was really good, but wasn't the type of bagel I was thinking about. It's more like soft bread, which is delicious but again, not like the chewy bagel I was expecting. The gentlemen running the shop were very kind and some locals trickled in while I was there. They already knew their order which goes to show it is a nice local joint.

TLDR: I really liked this place! Came by for a casual breakfast sandwich with a friend and this cafe served the basics really well with no frills. They serve coffee, bagels, bagel sandwiches, actual sandwiches, some limited pastries, and more. They had a really impressive assortment of bagels! FOOD: I got the bagel sandwich with egg and sausage on any bagel of my choice. I chose the pesto bagel and the combination of everything together was amazing. I would highly recommend. My friend loved her pesto bagel with the vegetarian egg filling. SERVICE: The people who served us from behind the counter seemed really nice! They were patient and handed us our food with a smile. ENVIRONMENT: There's both indoor and outdoor seating here and lots of parking around. The indoor tables are mostly small tables for two people. The inside is nothing fancy but you have everything you could need and it felt relatively clean.

Less a cafe and more a bagel shop with some bags of chips and coffee. 2 small tables outside to watch the people walk by. five tables inside. Bagels are pretty good but nothing unusual. Street parking in front of the building and behind make parking easy. Close to coffee shops to get a coffee close by.

Wanted a quick and easy lunch. I have actually been craving a good bagel so we came here for lunch. We both ordered the breakfast bagel - egg, cheese and your choice of meat (bacon for the both of us) + my husband added avocado to his. Plenty of options for the bagel - asiago for us. We also got an Izzie and it was around $20 dollars total. We sat outside on one of their two tables. The other was taken. There was some flies swarming around which didn't make sitting outside that nice. We both enjoyed our bagel sandwiches though. Unisex bathroom for customers only.

Wonderful bagels in the heart of Menlo Park. I'll be coming back again for sure! It's not easy to find fresh fluffy bagels around here.

After my half-year in the Bay Area, I frequently find myself craving a good NYC-style bagel, and, while Boichik Bagels hasn't _quite_ cracked the code, they've gotten pretty darn close. Their bagels are delightfully dense and slightly chewy, with a great snap from the crust. They're a little bit heavier than my average NYC bagel, but they've definitely mastered the NYC-style ginormous schmear of cream cheese and/or loaded breakfast sandwich. I've enjoyed their bagels in both sandwich form (huge fan of the whitefish salad with cucumbers and tomatoes for a more protein-rich / substantive meal) and with just a generous helping of cream cheese (of which they have quite a few flavors, including several vegan options). They don't have a _ton_ of bagel flavors, but they do have all the classics. Boichik also has a surprising love for pumpernickel; while the classic pumpernickel is delicious, I'm a huge fan of their pumpernickel caraway salt for a bit of extra herb flavor and savoriness. The staff is friendly and efficient. While there isn't any seating inside, there's a smattering of tables outside or you can always snag a seat elsewhere in Town & Country.

I ordered an Eggything Bagel and the Pumpernickel Bagel, one with Hatch Chile Cream Cheese and the other wit the Horseradish Cheddar Scallion Cream Cheese - shmears could have been more generous, and the bagels are more in the 'dense' range. Pickup was quick and seamless. If you're craving for a bagel or bagel sandwiches, this could be a spot. +online ordering available +seamless pickup

Super fresh, warm inside, nice chew without turning into a jaw workout. You can taste the difference. My regular lineup: Blueberry Sesame Everything (loaded properly -- not shy with the seasoning) The schmear situation is serious. The blueberry is dangerously good. The walnut raisin is my sleeper favorite -- creamy, nutty, little pops of sweetness from the raisins. It's the one you don't think you need... until you try it. Sun-dried tomato is great when you want savory. And for the Jewish diehards: the whitefish spread is legit. Creamy, balanced, tastes like it belongs in a proper deli case. Bottom line: great bagels, deep schmear bench, authentic spreads. Palo Alto is lucky.
