This is an incredible lunch place with just the best staff! They always greet you warmly when you enter and all their soups are so tasty. We've tried their broccoli cheddar, tomato bisque, wedding soup, chicken noodle, chicken pot pie, and corn and crab chowder. We were not disappointed in any of them and would easily go back for more. Plus you get a choice of 5 grain or french bread to enjoy with your soup. Their salads are also good. I've tried their chicken and bacon cobb, fiesta chicken, and cranberry almond. The dressing for the fiesta chicken was a little too spicy for me but I'd gladly order it again with a different dressing. My husband loves the southwest turkey and turkey and bacon club sandwiches. We just moved to Delaware not long ago and with these rainy days, this place had quickly become our go to lunch place. read more

I really liked this place. Really friendly staff, really good soup that you can sample to your hearts delight. I had chicken Toscana sandwich with roasted tomato bisque. Really good. My wife had chicken pot pie soup (yes, really) with crumbly crust sprinkled on it, which rad really like chicken pot pie in a soup. So good! The Chicken chilli was awesome! And the chicken sandwich with smashed avacado. ( forget the actual name of the sandwich)... Omg!!! The Bomb. I added extra toppings to my soup (cheese and onion) and I added extra toppings to my sandwich (lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeños and chipotle Mayo. So so good. Customer service was great! Great Greek salad! The portion was huge! I had half for lunch 1 day and took the leftovers home for lunch the next day. Luckily I ordered the dressing on the side so the leftover salad did not get soggy. The staff was friendly and very efficient! The restaurant was clean and simply decorated. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because they did not offer a gluten free bread or fruit on the side. Unfortunately there is not a Zoup near my house because I would frequent go there. Zoup's has the best variety of soups. I have tried several varieties but my all time favorite is the lobster bisque. It's so flavorful and loaded with lobster chunks. The roll is the perfect accompaniment for the soup. This is my go to place for the chiller months. It's a must try!! read more

They gave me an extra dressing when I asked but I didn't realize there was already two inside. Think of your measly salad in a box with on dressing from Panera , this tramples all over it. Came here this evening after my daughter was discharged from ER cause she really wanted their Bacon Mac. Sign on the door says open, so we go in. As we are approaching the counter, this young lady informs us they're closed. I politely informed her that the sign on the door still said open. Well, that caused her to get nasty and have an attitude in front of all the customers in the store. I again attempting to explain that I was just trying to let her know as anyone else could continue to walk in. 20min after closing and they're still packed. And they have more people walking in!!! Zoup! Is amazing! I love the lobster bisque here and you get so much food here for a great price! I order a half sandwich with a cup of soup. For the sandwich i chose the turkey club. The turkey club had good meat, fresh tomato, flavorful bacon, and the perfect amount of mayo. The photo might not look like it's half a sandwich but I assure you that it is! We even asked an employee because thought it was mistake because it was so large! The lobster bisque was also delicious. First, I NEVER write reviews but Eric, the owner went way above and beyond. I have a friend in town who decided to stay an extra day even though I wasn't going to be around. He ended up with a stomach bug and was sick all day. I wanted to get him soup to make him feel better but Zoup didn't deliver to where he was staying - Grub Hub does though. For some unknown reason, Grubhub doesn't have all of the soups available on their menu. Long story short, Eric delivered the soup personally! And it was delicious. You can't go wrong here because if there is a problem, you can rest assured that it will be handled, if not by Eric then by one of his people. Thanks Eric. read more

Everyone was super friendly and willing to help. I tried a couple soups (since you can have samples) and finally got a fresh tomato and spinach soup that hit the spot. From the service to the food everything was fabulous. It's like a better version of Panera Bread. They have about 100 soups and they offer 12 of them daily which they alternate out. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable on the products. They offer you samples of anything you'd like to try. I opted for the Try 2 which offers half a sandwich and a small cup of soup for about 9 bucks. I tried the spicy chicken enchilada soup and the chicken toscana sandwich. It was plenty of food. One of my favorite places to eat. The citrus garbanzo power bowl is my go to with a side of soup. Chicken tortilla, spicy black bean chili, Jamaican gumbo, Thai curry chicken....all amazing! Eric heard me talking on the phone to my husband, and immediately offered to check it out for me. He told me it was my battery and jumping it didn't work. Went there for the first time. Got the southwest turkey and salad. It had Gorgonzola, cranberries and almonds. The dressing was a raspberry vinaigrette, very thick . Overall enjoyed it.
