    House made buffalo sauce
    E T.

Fantastic service and tasty, hits-the-spot, grab and go slices. Greasy in the best way. I asked for hot sauce and the friendly guy behind the counter offered house-made buffalo sauce which was seriously delicious. I was in the area with a family member who was at an appointment at St. Peter's hospital. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back some time :) Music was great too!

This is the old school Albany Cusatos recipe you've been looking for. They have done an amazing job of keeping everything the same, which means it is the best pizza you can get in the Capital Region. As a pizza maker for half my life, I appreciate everything they do to produce the end product that is consistent and delicious. Some other 'Cusatos' that were owned independently tried making changes or not training their workers and they failed. Zoya's Pizza is the only place left to get that amazing original Quail St (and the brother in Clifton Park) Cusatos taste. They are also the nicest people ever! I'm so happy that they will keep great pizza alive in Albany. If you haven't been in yet, what are you waiting for?!?

Sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, onions, 18" pizza.

Terrible pizza, waited about one hour for a dry cheese pizza. Miss Cusatos. Looking for a good pizza place.

The chicken over rice is my go-to but I've tried everything and the lamb is probably my favorite.

Since it is a hotdog stand I'll try to get right to the point. Pros: - Alex (a.k.a. the hot dog guy) is extremely friendly and always willing to customize your order no matter the amount of people behind you - He is one of the few hotdog vendors that I have observed wearing gloves (and changes them when they get dirty) which after observing some vendors touching trash and scratching themselves then proceeding to making food is a plus - He is dependable meaning no matter the weather he'll be located right outside of The Russian Lady - I once dropped my got dog right after I got it and he was kind enough to make me another one right away (free of charge) Cons: - Due to hot dog stand stand being located right outside of The Russian Lady you are guaranteed to have to deal with extremely drunk and loud people - Drunk people will try to skip the line or get really close to your food to see what you ordered

After a night of dancing, dripping mascara, and sore feet, you wander the streets of downtown Hartford looking for a quick bite to eat. You're tired of the mediocre pizza at Aladdin's and decide to grab a bite at a street meat stand. You go to the first cart outside of Blackbear and witness the hot dog man stuffing garbage into a trash can with his bare hands. Slightly disgusted, you crawl your way to the entrance of Russian Lady and witness the holy grail that is Hartford late night food. Alex the hot dog man stands in his newly bought hot dog truck wearing a set of plastic gloves, topping hot dogs with cheese, chili, and potato chips. He's always welcoming to everyone and especially so to his frequent customers who eat way too many hot dogs (me). Open 10PM-3AM Thursday through Saturday, you can always expect excellent service and delicious late night food after your night out.

The owner, Sal, came over to our table while we scanned the menus and introduced himself. He gave us a complimentary taco each and said "these are the best tacos you've ever had." I loved the confidence and I loved that he was right. It was love at first bite. We ordered a quesadilla, a chicken salad, a plate of fries, more tacos and a gyro (assuming we would be taking most of it home and eating it for dinner over the week) The quesadilla & gyro were delicious and fresh. They were still tasty as leftovers 2 days later. I wasn't crazy about the salad but that's probably my fault. Ya Hala does comfort junk food - this is not the time to be calorie-conscious. Sal checked in on us a number of times while we were eating. The restaurant is a small hole-in-the-wall with a few booths and a bathroom. I assume most of their business comes from people doing take out at the end of their work day. If I lived or worked closer, I would be a regular customer here. In the end, Sal packed our food in to-go boxes and gave us a free gyro as a surprise. At some point during dinner, my husband mentioned I was Yelp Elite. In the interest of full disclosure, at no point did Sal ask me to leave a favorable review or use his free food as a bargaining chip. This review is done without taking the free gyro into consideration.
