Fantastic service and tasty, hits-the-spot, grab and go slices. Greasy in the best way. I asked for hot sauce and the friendly guy behind the counter offered house-made buffalo sauce which was seriously delicious. I was in the area with a family member who was at an appointment at St. Peter's hospital. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back some time :) Music was great too! read more

This is the old school Albany Cusatos recipe you've been looking for. They have done an amazing job of keeping everything the same, which means it is the best pizza you can get in the Capital Region. As a pizza maker for half my life, I appreciate everything they do to produce the end product that is consistent and delicious. Some other 'Cusatos' that were owned independently tried making changes or not training their workers and they failed. Zoya's Pizza is the only place left to get that amazing original Quail St (and the brother in Clifton Park) Cusatos taste. They are also the nicest people ever! Great service and tasty slices. This is our local slice place. We tried ordering a whole pie once, but the crust wasn't as good as the slices, so we just stick to that. My personal go to now is the felafel which comes with some deliciously spiced rice. I keep hoping to try the bolani they have on the menu, but they never seem to have any. (I'm probably in the minority of people who would prefer to have an Afghani restaurant than a pizzeria.) Very warm and friendly staff. If you're eating in, the place is clean, but nothing remarkable. We eat in, but seems like most people grab and go or are hospital staff grabbing a quick meal. read more

ZOYAS is amazing! We rolled into town about an hour before they closed so we called to make sure we could still order some food. And they assured us we could so we came in to order to go. The cute little hole in the wall was immaculate! The woman who took our order was patient and helpful when we had questions and the owner who visited with us while we waited was kind and so friendly! We ordered pizza got some sodas and even had their rice with white sauce (which I HIGHLY recommend!). The food was amazing! It was hot and stayed hot for the small drive to our hotel and you can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients! We don't even have leftovers, it was so good. Small garden salad was excellent. It came with romaine lettuce, chopped up tomatoes, plus onions and cucumbers The pizza was great too. Only mistake was wrong dressing was delivered with the meal. Definitely would return if back in the area. read more

Ordered from here and was very happy with my order. We got a pepperoni / mushroom pizza and a falafel wrap. So what I can say is: 1- the mushrooms were fresh. 2- the falafel wrap was STUFFED with with falafel!!! 3- the pizza sauce was great. Not salty or tinny tasting. It was very good. 4- some people commented they are skimpy on the cheese, not the case... we had plenty of cheese (good tasting cheese too) 5- the delivery guy was really fast and my pizza still piping hot when it arrived. Sadly, when ownership changed so did the food - for the worse. The pizza is now nearly inedible, the toppings scant, the sauce different in a bad way and the crust inconsistent. If you'd like anything with pork (aka - sausage or bacon), you'll be out of luck. Sad really - it was our go to place for years. read more

Short version: This place is amazing. The new stuff added to the menu is incredible and I eat here a ton. Long version: I work from home and live about a block from Zoya's so it's my daily lunch spot. I eat here often enough that everyone knows my first name...That's an appeal to expertise so you believe this: The food is incredible. I was a little weary when I found out Cusato's was changing but it's been awesome. The chicken over rice is my go-to but I've tried everything and the lamb is probably my favorite. The shawarmas are like beautiful, pita tacos and I can't eat just one. I have nothing negative to say. I'm grateful that my neighborhood fast casual restaurant was replaced by more of the same, with a passionate and dedicated group running the place. read more

went to Zoya's today for lunch and had the lamb shawarma. absolutely delicious and packed with lamb, veggies, fries and a great sauce. usually when I feel a little bit full I will stop eating but I couldn't do that with this meal. I was determined to finished it and that's what I did! I have also had pizza there and a lamb gyro and both were great. There is such good flavors in this food. The staff there are all so friendly and you can clearly see the owner is dedicated to what he does so thank you for that. I have found my new favorite food place! read more

Same small business... new owners.... Note limited menu.... But the pizza is pretty much the same....the costs of everything have gone sky high these last two years....get over it.... If you can't afford it don't buy it.... I can assure these small pizza joints are overflowing with profits. It's hard work! Anyways... the new owners are delightful.... Loyal Cusatos customer for years. Ordered a pie and it had oregano dumped all over it, dough was not cooked in the middle of the pizza either. Husband ordered mozzarella sticks and he could taste that the fryer oil had not been changed. we will not be returning unfortunately. read more

I have been going to Cusato's for the past 30 years at various locations throughout Albany. I stopped into Zoya's Pizzeria formerly Cusatos and was delighted to see that they are still making the famous delicious colossal pizza slices with the amazing toppings. My friends, the first bite into my delicious colossal slice from Zoya's was amazing!!! They got the recipe, and they got it right!! that unmistakable combination of sauce cheese and amazing crust told me all I needed to know, I was thrilled, Zoya's is still making the famous Cusatos pizza. After eating my slice, I ordered a large pizza to go. I recall speaking to the previous owners, and they assured me that I will still be able to get a Cusato's pizza at Zoya's and they held to their promise. Cusatos is gone but Cusato's pizza and sides along with an amazing menu of new items lives on at Zoya's. Thank you Zoya's for keeping the tradition alive, amazing food great service along with great prices, a wonderful experience.
