    Garlic Naan
    Meghan K.

Decided to try a new place for Indian food but we weren't wowed nor were we disappointed. It was average. The garlic naan was good but had little garlic flavor; however we were pleased with the amount that came. There's a possibility that our meals were labeled wrong as the chicken tikka masala tasted like butter chicken and vise versa. We both wish we ordered medium for the kick as the mild was extremely mild and bland. Overall, it was average and maybe we would try it again.

I went on a Monday and they had Monday momo dumplings at half prize! It seems like they do a promotion Mondays to Wednesdays so pricing is very reasonable! I loved the garlic naan, butter chicken and chicken tikka masala - they were so rich in favor!

I have been here twice now. Once at night once around dinner time in both experiences have been great but also a bit different. Last night took a client out to dinner here I meant a wonderful and friendly staff who went out of their way to help us. We had the option of sitting inside or outside in the decor vibe of the restaurant was comforting. Seeing how it was Monday they had a special on steamed Bobo we ordered butter chicken biryani and naan. Everything was excellent served hot and fresh. My only complaint would be the entrée sizes are a bit small for the price but they make up for it and taste. I will absolutely be back the staff with the friendliest I have ever dealt with and they took pride in their service

Craving something spicy, cozy, and full of flavor? Zuzu Momo is your go-to for incredible Nepali/Indian food! We started with a chilled Mango Lassi--super refreshing. The Paneer Chilli was the perfect mix of heat and flavor, and those Deep-Fried Momos? Crispy, golden, and packed with juicy goodness. The Malai Kofta was rich, creamy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious--especially with their buttery Garlic Naan. And the Paneer Biryani? Aromatic, loaded with spices, and totally satisfying. If you're into bold flavors and comfort food, you have to check this place out! #ZuzuMomo #NepaliFood #IndianFoodLovers #SpicyEats #PaneerLovers #MomoMadness #BiryaniHeaven #TorontoEats #FoodieFinds #MalaiKofta #FoodReel #DesiEats #ComfortFood #SouthAsianFlavors

The food was amazing, the MOMOs are out of the world. The Khasi Biryani (Goat Meat) is also very yummy. A must try Nepalese/Indian place. The service is great, serves are very sweet. The ambiance is very cozy

Tried them based on the good reviews, but were disappointed. We ordered takeout on a Saturday night, food pickup was ok, had to wait a bit as the food was not ready. The restaurant has free street parking in front, can get busy at times though. Although all the food we ordered looked appealing, it lacked flavor and the chicken was definitely old which got our stomach upset. We got the Butter Chicken with garlic naan, Street Style Chowmein with Chicken and Ras Malai for dessert. The butter chicken had nice creamy gravy, but was low on flavor and heat even after asking for a spicy version. The sauces in the Chowmein felt a bit burnt up. Both the baked chicken in the butter chicken and the fried chicken in the Chowmein tasted stale. The garlic naan seemed to lack salt, so tasted a bit odd. Overall not a place that I would try again.

This spot is so cute and quaint right at the corner of the neighborhood. They also have an outdoor patio with great ambiance. And the restaurant seemed like a small mom and pop shop so the service was friendly. I came here with a friend and the menu has tons delicious items plus plentiful veggie friendly options. We came here primarily for the Momos and to our surprise, there were about 9 different MoMo plates to choose from. These MoMo options ranged from steam, fried, in sauces, and in soup! If this is your first time at ZuZu Mo:Mo like it was for me, the Mo:Mo Tikka Masala will not disappoint. You have the option to choose from chicken, pork, or veggie fried momos that are laid on top of a creamy tomato cashew sauce. Additionally, the original steam MoMo were amazingly soft and plump. Everything was so satisfying and comforting. I have nothing but great things to say about this spot, I highly recommend for an absolute flavorful experience!

Arguably the best momo in the north shore. The goods : check in Yelp to get 15% off; $7.99 for momos & coke on Mondays; $7.99 for wings & coke on Wednesdays; certain items on the happy hour menu are half prices during the weekdays from 12-5pm; free samosa when you follow them on instagram, like them on Facebook and sign up for their loyalty program. I tried the steamed dumplings (can pick chicken, pork or veggies). It took about 20 mins to steam. The meat and veggies were perfectly balanced, came out super fresh and juicy. Momos were served with tomato based sauce and the other one was probably Sichuan pepper (super spicy!) The shrimp biriyani (can choose mild, hot or super hot level) had a strong cardamom taste but interestingly I only found a few on the plate. When you order the biriyani at other places, you will be spitting out tons so Zuru probably strained them before plating the entree. I was hoping to see nuts and sliced boiled eggs on top of the biriyani (very common in Nepal household). They were missing but it was still delicious. Biriyani was not dry and more saucy. Raita came in handy to take off some of the heat. The fried chicken was over cooked and dry. The restaurant is cute with a full bar. In the summer time they have seatings outside. Please reserve ahead because it's small. Last time I went it was closed for a private party. I went right when they opened at noon and I didn't have to wait. Parking is a bit difficult- street parking only. Super friendly staff and easy check out process (can pay staff directly or online)

I attended a Yelp Event here a few months back and this was my 3rd visit. The service continues to be lackluster, the cleanliness of the space, at least the tables and chairs are questionable, and truthfully the taste of the dumplings seem to have declined, and the vegetable pakora keeps getting smaller. I was set on making this the spot I took everyone that came into town but after two disappointing visits I'm looking at other spots. This place seems to operate better as a to go experience.

Nice place for momos! I loved their drinks too. Although seating can be very limited. Service was good, not very quick but still perfect otherwise.

Indian is one of my favorites and this was a fairly short drive from our hotel in Waltham. We made a reservation but that did not seem to be at all necessary. It was a Monday night and it was not particularly busy. We were seated right away. They featured a very pleasant dining room and we were able to secure a table by the front window. This was a great spot and added to our experience. The service was very good. We were attended to quickly and well cared for throughout our time there. The food came out in a timely manner well presented at the appropriate temperature. My colleague opted for the Creamy Coconut Chicken. I tried a bite of this and was favorably impressed. In addition, he had a Mango Lassi to which he also gave a thumbs-up. I had the Fish Curry, which I ordered at a medium level in terms of spice. It was very tasty as it had just the right amount of kick. He ordered the Garlic Naan to accompany his meal while I had my favorite type of Indian bread (my favorite type of bread period, really) Peshwari Naan. We were both happy with these choices. I also had a glass of cabernet which turned out to be a decent choice. Our final bill that included food, drinks, tax and tip was $86. At $43 per person in this inflationary time, I was happy enough with the value given the quality of the fare and the overall experience. I would be happy to make a return visit.

It came to mind when I was craving Indian food this evening and surpassed my expectations. It was quiet inside, so very easy to hold a conversation. Not overwhelming or overstimulating the way most restaurants are typically. I felt I needed to try something other than my typical tikka masala, and the waitress recommended the lamb curry. It came with a generous portion of rice, and we also ordered naan. The naan came out warm and flavorful, and my lamb was sweet, spicy, and delicious. I filled up on rice simply so I could have some lamb left to take home. Otherwise, I would have polished it off very quickly. The water is not iced, which was perfectly fine, as I prefer my water to not be overly chilled. I ordered a mango lassi to finish off my meal and it had a rich mango taste, though was thinner than most lassis I have had. This is neither a positive nor a negative; and in fact, I did manage to drink it all without procuring a stomach ache. So that is a win. Our waitress was attentive, though perhaps not friendly. She took our order correctly and efficiently and split the check for us at the end. I would most certainly return and am eager to try their other dishes.

Thai ice tea - not overly sweet light and creamy after you mix it. Green Thai iced tea - more tea flavor shown thru this version i enjoyed this too! Larb chicken - amazing dish i really liked it, only comment would be maybe the minced protein toss some bigger diced chunks in too to soak up that cr*ck sauce! Basil chicken fried rice - spicy good flavor overall and chicken was plenty. I sort of was hoping they would have the signature like basil spice "glaze/sauce" they could do like other spots for basil dishes but they did not. It's good how it is though but if i was to get crispy chicken - def would need a sauce for my taste anyways. Red curry with salmon creamy extra spicy (you can choose spice level) salmon was cooked well in here and the flavor broth went so well soaked in the white rice! Bbq pork skewers - like your friends bbq where their folks went all out. Shoot perfect drinking food. Nampla chicken wings- really good fish sauce base wings! As a viet i love this style chicken wing. Glad we went with these over the fried batter version! Free shrimp crackers while you wait. Crying Tiger and their other sister shops all do well i feel. What we ordered: -Thai Iced Green Milk Tea -Thai Iced Tea -Nampla wings -BBQ Pork Skewers -Chicken Laarb -Red Curry w/ Salmon (requested extra spicy) -Basil Fried Rice w/ Chicken The food is so good! I highly recommend this place if you like spicy. I requested for extra spicy for the red curry with salmon & I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted actually spicy! Many Thai spots I've gone to tend to not deliver the level of spicy I'm looking for, so I'm happy I was able to get it here. Salmon was cooked perfectly & the curry was delicious. We loved the basil fried rice with chicken also. Flavorful & had a nice kick. Chicken was not dry either! The chicken laarb was addictive to eat. It had the right amount of citrus & spice. Generous portion too! Nampla wings reminded me of nuoc mam/Vietnamese fish sauce wings. I personally found the wings to be a bit dry but the sauce it came with really helped. Good flavor though. Lastly, both the Green iced Thai tea & regular iced Thai tea were solid. Not the best but still good. I'm a big fan of Green iced Thai tea & not many places offer this. I always make sure to order it wherever and whenever I can find it! Overall, I'm so glad we were able to stop in for dinner at the Crying Thaiger. Their food is tasty & I recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys yummy Thai food & likes spicy! I would definitely come back again ;) Parking: street parking
