Run away. Have a new washing machine in one of my homes which is still under warranty so 800 Appliance was sent to repair. Total of 5 times they had to come out. The bookkeeping company (Lunar Appliance Bookkeeping) is even worse, they just keep with threatening calls. The machine is under warranty, and the manufacturer paid them 4 times. The last visit Lunar Appliance billed me for a service call even though they did warranty work, called manufacturer, and finally corrected the problem. After I got billed from Lunar, I called the manufacturer; they said repair was still covered and 800 Appliance needed to submit paperwork to them. Lunar bookkeeping continued to harass me instead of contacting manufacturer and has now sent me into collections. read more

Hey Can I have a 0 star option? I need to give 5 stars to Monique who works at CS, she has been very patience and helpful. Long story short... 1) Dec 2020 - fisrt appointment - My Whirlpool washer stopped working, I requested an appointment via Whirlpool warrently... I told 1-800-Appliance our washer and dryer are stacked. Anyway the tech showed up and said Oh I can't do anything today because we need two men working on stacked washer...anyway he "diagnose" the promblems (by looking at the front panel and drum, made a phone call) and order parts for repair, parts were back order... 2) Feb 2021 - Parts are finally here! Yeah! Scheduled an appointment for 3/2 at 12 - 4pm, this time we all know we need TWO tech to come, addition $180 for labor and of course they do not guarantee 100% it can be fixed - sure I get this, I am OK with that just please come fix my washer! 3) Mar 2nd 2021 - I sat home from 12 - 3pm, tech finally came! he showed up and said they do not have the 2nd tech today then left. If I could give this company negative 1 stars I would. This company is fraud and why they are in business other then billing for services that have NOT been done just confuses me. They are quick to bill and dont like to hear the story of what their technicians did or in my case could NOT do...and they want me to pay for them NOT doing a job. No thanks. I was kind enough to give these guys 4 chances ( that's right 4 appts) and they could NOT deliver. Each time only guessing what the issue was. Heck I can sit here and guess what's wrong all day long. That's why I called these "so called" professionals to fix my machine. THEY COULD NOT DO IT. They wanted another appt ( 5th) for what??? to waste more of my time...no thanks. Horrible company, horrible people in the billing dept. that want to grift money for doing nothing. Maytag dryer not heating up. Called Appliance Rescue and got service appointment for next day. Ilya tech #25 arrived ON TIME, diagnosed problem. He had to get part, returned in couple hours replaced defective part and Dryer was operating. He highly suggested we have vent pipe cleaned as he suspected a partially blocked vent may have contributed to the device failure. read more

you know what? screw these guys. perfect example of crappy service because they are the contracted warranty repair company for a manufacturer. appliance rescue was scheduled to inspect and repair my whirlpool electric range a little over a year ago. cool, guy was nice and took care of everything. well, enter today when we are still questioning how the oven is working. pretty sure the temperature sensor is still all effed up. called them up....of course they only guaranteed work for up to 1 yr (its been year and 3 months)....of course i am now officially out of manufacturers warranty...and of course a service visit ALONE is $69.95. ($20 at another company highly rated on here) thank goodness i used my amex and i get an extra year of warranty through them (though much bigger headache) and i can now choose the appliance company to use. i got a measly 5 months left before i have no warranty left at all and i have to make this repair count. my main point is- my oven was repaired with a new part just over a year ago and has been deemed defective again. you dont buy appliances to have to replace every damn year right? especially with such limited warrantees. appliance rescue either gave me a bad part or installed it poorly. good job. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I was forced to use this company for my Maytag Washer because they have a contract with them. I was given both a verbal and written confirmation that the technician would be out to make the repair between the hours of 8am and 12pm. Well they decided not to show and upon calling the dispatch I was told that "I was added onto the technician's list last and so your time changed to 11am to 1pm and the technician says he will be there at 1230." No one called me to inform me of any change but no matter he will be 30 minutes late, I am not happy but I am ok with that. 1 pm hits and no technician and no call from the company. I call again. "Oh we just talked to him and he says he will be there by 130." I cancelled the call. If the people that work in that company cannot handle using simple tools like a phone to call their customers to inform them that everything is not ok then I do not trust them to repair my washer. As of this writing, I am still waiting for the "Manager," Anthony, to call me back and explain to me who this new time extension didn't get communicated. They deserve zero business from any private consumer and they need to have their contract revoked from all the major stores and brands because their work ethic is garbage. read more

My washer smelled like mildew even though it's new. Lowe's scheduled service with this company. The technician said it was a bad gasket and ordered the part. Several weeks later, the part came in. My fiance took a day off work for the appointment. The technician took the old gasket apart then discovered they ordered the wrong part. He put it the old gasket back in, said it was ok to use in the meantime, and left. We went to use the washer and water leaked everywhere and pooled up in between the door and the washer, and inside the gasket! We called Lowe's to cancel our service with them and asked for a different company to replace the gasket. But at least the technician was a really nice guy. read more

Our 1 year old oven quit working on Dec. 16, the day before I was planning to start extensive cookie baking. We called immediately and they couldn't come out until Dec. 19. They showed up, but could not fix because they didn't have part. Oven had an error code which we reported when we called - I guess that did not give them a clue about what part they needed. Said they'd come back today- 12/28 with the part and fix. They came back today with no part and couldn't fix. Now we wait !!?? for their call. This is terrible service and certainly no rescue !! read more

They popped up as a Viking Appliance repair service provider. It turns out that they have no affiliation with the manufacturer. They showed quickly on the same day which should have made me skeptical. I believe this is just a lead distribution service not an actual company doing the work. We were charged $650 to correct a dropping oven door. The total repair time was 30 minutes. I am sure we got screwed. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. This company's policy involves not informing their customers that a check is not cashed for nearly three weeks after service. My funds were available but I was in the process of switching banks. All that was needed from them was a simply notification of the timeframe and the situation could have been avoided. Instead, it turned into a 30 minute conversation about this female manager trying to justify their poor service. I was actually blamed by this manager because I had missed an appointment time earlier and was told I lost her business money. Never is it appropriate to condescend towards a customer who is paying for a very basic and easily replaceable service. Customer retention should always take priority. She cared more about her ego than waiving a $10 fee to retain a long-term client of theirs. Any business with such poor customer service from a manager is appalling. I really hope anyone who thinks about calling them will put in the research to find another business who prioritizes their customers. This experience has shocked me as to how this company can still get business. I will unequivocally never use this company again and will do my best to ensure residents in my building hear of this atrocious service. read more

Microwave door wasn't latching properly. I had John from Maxima Appliance in to look at it. He said it couldn't be repaired (actually, he couldn't figure anything out, like it was the first time he had seen a microwave). Called Whirlpool who put me in touch with Appliance Rescue. They sent Ben out. Ben had it figured out in 5 minutes, fixed it in 10 and was on his way. Very happy! read more

I give them 0 stars. Received a call on 12/8/2014 that a tech will be out between 12 and 5pm to look at my refrig. I was not home. Michael F. #38 left his card to reschedule an appointment. I called the next day and asked what the appointment was for. because I had the refrigerator repaired on 11/23/2014 by Antech Appliance. The representative at Appliance Rescue never heard of Antech Appliance and said their appointment was for my request on 11/10/2014. They are just getting back to me now after one month from my request. They nver did contact me until yesterday on 12/9/14. This is the worst customer service ever! They didn't take my address correctly, then they called me towards the end of the day saying their tech could not find my place because the zipcode they had wasn't correct. Then they told me since the zipcode was different, the tech they sent out didn't work in that area so they canceled the appointment. My dryer was heating only intermittently, so I called for service to check it out. First told me the vent needed to be cleaned. I had to arrange for another company to perform that service, but the problem wasn't fixed. I called them back and now I was told it is the gas valve coil and gave me an estimate for $250. Since the dryer only cost $400 10 years ago it sounded like throwing good money after bad and I rejected to perform the repair. When I researched the problem online I found a 2:30 minute youtube video showing how to change the coils, I ordered the part and paid $2.95 including shipping and it took me as a layman less than 5 minutes to pop the top, remove the front, and remove two more screws to replace the coils. Works great again. This was pure greed and ignorance on their part. The attempt to charge $250 for a 5 minute job and a dirtcheap part, says everything about this company.
