Fast, but it is very expensive as the travel ID - driver's license was $70.00. Couldn't find fees online, but they are posted inside at the location. The prices rotate on a screen quickly and you have to stand there awhile trying to read the small print. Obviously, they don't want you to know how expensive their fees are at 1Stop. Other third-party MVDs companies only charge $50.00. This fee is excessive for the service. Also, they hang up on you when your call goes through on the posted telephone number for this company. So you can't check fees before you go there. I don't think they want customers to know the high charges at their locations. MVD should require third-party services to post all fees online being upfront for customers. read more

No star if I could. Website says opens at 9 and door says 10. This place is a joke came here to get my Cali plates registered. Manager said I'd need a level two inspection. Paid 10$ for a 3 day permit found a place to do it and they said the wait was two weeks out. What's the point of a three day permit. Went to dmv to get a 30 day permit to find out that my car had already been registered as a salvage title and I don't need an inspection. And got another 3day permit for 1$. But they just want money. Got my gf a az id 50$ when it's 100% cheaper at the az dmv. Do your self the favor don't go here. It's a money pit. I could understand if I was a normal employee but this is the manager that helped us. Been a gm for over 14 and a half years this is horrible service especially when ppl need to get to work. Real id is 25$ at the az DMV not 70$ for the convenience fee. Ha this has been at no convenience to me. DMV took 30 mins btw. Right down the street. She answered my questions over the phone last week, and today we were able to get our driver's licenses renewed in 15-20 minutes, including completing the paperwork. Olivia was most professional, courteous, helpful, efficient, and had a tremendous sense of humor. Her lunch arrived just as we were starting the process but she wanted to continue without taking a break. When I offered to pay for her lunch, she refused and said that she was just doing her job. If I had my new traveler's ID completed at the same time as my hubby, I would've rated higher. The service when hubby and I went together was actually pretty decent. Due to incomplete supporting docs for myself, I was not able to get my new ID during this visit while hubby was successful. It was my fault and I took it in stride. It took about a week for me to obtain the correct items needed and attempted this again. It wasn't long before I was seen by someone. I presented my ID application and the supporting docs, ready to finally get my long awaited traveler's ID. A couple of minutes in, the rep told me that because I had a document with my maiden name on it and they were not able to proceed. My social security number matched what was listed on the other docs and I had brought in my original birth certificate that listed my maiden name. Surely, this should be enough to confirm my identity? I told the rep that I would go home to bring back even more docs and will return shortly. Thankfully, I live fairly close to this location so it wasn't too much of a hassle.... so far. More on that later. I return a few minutes later and re-presented everything. FINALLY, SUCCESS! The rep accepts my docs and proceeds to issue my new traveler's ID (temp ID now with permanent one coming in the mail). It's now smooth sailing from this time until I leave. As I was parking back at home, I get a call from this location. They forgot to have me sign a form and I needed to come back. At this time, now it's becoming a hassle as I'm returning for the 5th time for the same thing! 1st time: August 2019, statewide system outage during the day we visited. 2nd time: Oct 22, joint visit with hubby to obtain new IDs. Hubby successful, I was not. 3rd time: Oct 31, solo visit to attempt to get new ID after receiving new supporting docs. Failed due to name differences on a document. 4th time: Same day, went home to get more docs and came back. Successful this time. 5th time: Same day after returning home, get called to come back to sign a form. I still take responsibility for not providing the right docs each time. However, I feel like staff was not too helpful in explaining exactly what they are looking for and was setting me up to fail. I even crossed off each item on their checklist as I got them together but some minor detail not listed on the checklist prevented me from being successful on the earlier attempts. Even after *5* visits, I was not yet mad. I only became upset at the end of the 5th visit when the rep didn't apologize or acknowledge my multiple visits in the same day. Not even a thank you either, the rep (different one from the one who first helped me) simply dismissed me after getting my signature like I was nothing. I just scoffed at her and just said bye as I was seriously done with this place. I was never rude or displayed anger during any of the visits as this is not how I am. This location, as well as other authorized 3rd party MVD offices, do provide a valuable service. To management: providing decent customer service does go a long way in getting repeat clients and referrals. I have a lot more to add but I'll just stop here as it's getting really long. I hope the next time I visit, there will be better staff in place. read more

Both ladies were very helpful and kind. One even made sure my husband looked great on his license. We went around 10:45 on a Tuesday morning. We were ticket 25. Ticket 24 was being served. All employees were very friendly. Review for 51st and Cactus. Don't take your teenager to this location to do a road test. Females are rude and made my daughter feel nervous during her road test. Clarissa have just daughter an attitude when she asked her for clarification on what she was being asked to do. This review is for the 5036 W Cactus location. That location does not have a Yelp page. So, looking and interviewing for a new job I was told I needed to change my driver's license since it did not match my social card. Having gotten married many moons ago and being lazy I never changed my driver's license name after legally changing my last name. Again, being lazy after checking the ADOT website I did not want to wait in line over 40 minutes so I looked for a 3rd party. This 1 Stop is down the street from my dogs vet which I also had to make a stop at. I arrived at 8:37 (they open at 8 for all services except DMV, 8:30 is the earliest for driver license services) and was out the door with my temporary license at 8:52. Motor vehicle will mail my new hard copy and should arrive within 14 days. The whole process was so easy. I just showed them a copy of my marriage certificate, my current license and my social security card with my new name. They took my photo, had me sign a electronic pad and pay. Granted they do charge a fee for services but the time and aggravation they saved was well worth the extra charge. $27 for the new license and the fee. I will definitely use the Cactus 1 Stop location again. Easy peasy, lemon squeezey! read more

I went and applied for a title loan and was denied which I had no problem with. The problem I had is they want to keep a copy of all my info. ID/DOB/social/paycheck stubs/debit card/ bank statement. So they now have All of your info. Who knows what they or some random employee may do with it. Beware. I will now have to be worried about identity theft because I feel like the employees may be selling your identity. So after doing business here beware your identity isn't stolen. I was a little confused because this location listed as "auto title loans" on some sites and "3rd party DMV" on others. I confirmed on the DMV site that this location is an authorized 3rd party, so I stopped in this morning. The title loans are on one side of the building and the DMV services are on the other side. There are two doors, but it's the same waiting area. I'm always thrilled when I don't have to go to the actual DMV. I stopped in to handle a non-probate affidavit and title transfer and was in and out in 15 minutes. The clerk was knowledgable and efficient. Their fees are a couple bucks more than I've encountered at other 3rd party locations, but for the convenience? Take my money already. Next time I need to meet a buyer in this part of town, I'll happily use Stop 1 again. read more

Although the girl at the counter was polite, I wasted a half hour of my time in the branch waiting to get a repossession title transferred, only to have them tell me they can't do it. Went to use the DMV services. Employee spelled last name incorrectly on driver license. Employee corrected error when we pointed it out. When we got home we realized the last name was still incorrect for voter registration paperwork. Nothing worse than paying convince fees for being completely inconvenienced. We called back and after waiting on hold 15 minutes and being transferred to another location and waiting on hold again we drove back to the store just for an employee to tell us it was changed and the voter document doesn't show it. Lack of communication and horrible customer service. Not sure if anyone cares about the customers at this location as it doesn't show. read more

I called two days ahead to verify my teenage sons AZ issued permit ID would be accepted as identification. They said yes-'no problem' and suggested we arrive early, even before they open to lessen wait time. We were the first ones in line, waited 40 minutes, they finally called us to a window 15 min after opening. 'Oh, we are not processing drivers license until 10am, you will have to return.". We return at 9:50am, wait an hour to be called to the window. Turns out, they will not accept the permit as ID and require the birth certificate. Hindsight....should have just brought the birth certificate. If you are going to offer a government driven service.....EDUCATE your staff effectively. We are now taking all the information and birth certificate to another third party provider. We only went here because we cannot get through the MVD to even get the appointment. My son is crushed and I am furious!!!! read more
