I drank the Caribbean stout, a pleasant suprise as for such a dark beer it was smooth and didn't have any coffee overtones. To eat, the bulgogi bowl is very good. Farro instead of rice added a nice meaty texture and nutty flavor to the dish. I thought the sreving size wasn't going to be enough but found it to be very filling. Must be the denisity of the dish. Came in for lunch with my boyfriend today around 12:30pm. Such a cool vibe in this place, and the openness/brightness of it is so enticing. We came in after the march on the Capitol. We waited a good 20 minutes just to be acknowledged. We ordered drinks and which took another 20 minutes to receive. The server did not explain the confusing pizza options. I ordered a pizza that I thought would cost $16, with only mushrooms and garlic. It took 45 minutes to get my pizza. The server gave us our pizzas, but no plates or silverware. I had actually asked the bus boy for plates. I literally could not even see the mushrooms. Also, I got onion (just a couple of slivers) instead of garlic. I was charged $4 for the cheese! and another $4 for the scant veggies. My total bill just for the pizza was $25.44. 10 Barrel Brewing is one of my top, highly recommended places to visit in Boise! I love this place so much! The vibes here are great. Staff is always so friendly. They had seltzers & ciders in tap. I had the Refreshy Cider when I was there last week & I loved it. Half of our group also ordered this same drink. My go to meal here is always the BLT (bacon on the side). I love the egg on this sandwich & the jam they add to it. Fries are my favorite around. The Mac & cheese is delicious as well. Great portion sizes. The steak "not just" nachos were a favorite amongst our group & this is 100% shareable for the whole table. Kids grilled cheese & salad portion was adult sized. Came here today for the 1st time and was not impressed at all. I am only giving an extra star for our server who absolutely was working her butt off. I get that staffing is a true issue but this was a little excessive. First walking in the restaurant is 1/2 empty and the tables were all dirty. The other reason for the extra star was the guy working at the front door. Not only was her cleaning tables but s sting them as well. For good has the TNT tri-tip sandwich and the meat was so over cooked and heated up it tasted horrible. Plus the fries on the side where so over cooked you could tell they had been sitting in some sort heating element. My wife had the fish and chips and the star of the plate was the fish which was totally gummy which is a sign of not being freshly prepared. Her Fries also where totally overdone and really not edible. Plus it took well over an hour just to get our food. What was irritating was the timing of the food. Even though we were sat much earlier than other tables our food came out afterwards. I really was so under impressed with this place and hope to try again at some point based on other reviews but they were way off their game today. read more

Top notch lunch spot! We decided to go for a team lunch and it didn't disappoint. The burgers are delicious. The peanut butter bacon burger is a great take on a Thai inspired pub style burger. The bun really shines as it's straight from Gaston's so ya...recommended. The Mac and cheese was a favorite, along with the sweet potato fries. Really can't go wrong here. I was SHOCKED that I'd never reviewed 10 Barrel. I come here frequently with my husband or to meet friends or family. 10 barrel tends to be an easy option due to the rarity of wait times, even on busy nights I frequently get a table right away. The beer menu is IPA heavy with some easy sipping sessions, and some decent sours. I like the Little Ghost Hazy, their seasonal Maibock, and the Helles. For food we ALWAYS start with their pretzels and beer cheese. It is more than worth the lactaid pills I have to take. 10 Barrel has the best beer cheese I've found in Boise with jalapeños and bacon in it. My favorite entrees are actually their salads-shocking for a brewery. The farro and charred kale is delicious with salmon and I like grilled chicken with the Spring Forward. However over several visits I've also enjoyed their fried chicken sandwich (spicy but delicious!) and the fish and chips. Others enjoy the One-Two Burger and Turkey Club which I've yet to try. Service is always friendly at 10 barrel and the atmosphere is lively. This does lead to it being loud in the warehouse building though. Sitting on the patio can be a little quieter and the patio is dog friendly. Overall a great place to stop by. read more

The manager helped us out more and checked on us more often than our own server did. I was not impressed with the food either. They also got our order wrong after asking for specific instructions.
