This place went from 5 star to cero 0. Star. Last year I came to this place everything was perfect but today I came around 5:20 pm I enter the place from Abram st. And this lady pointed at me to get in the line there wasn't any other car but the one she was working on. So I moved to the line area that I didn't see any reason why. Because I said in nex it won't be to long. So she took her time about 15 minutes I waited so wen it was my turn I pull in. So the firce thing she said to me is this your first time here ? And I said no I came here all the time. And then she started complaining to me whay I didn't get in line in the first place I said I didn't see any reason wen there is no body behind me. So she refused to service my car. She told me go somewhere else in a very rude manner. The attendant was discourteous and, when I handed her a twenty to pay, she asked me if I wanted my change. Twice. She expected a tip? She charged me $18.50 - but the receipt says $18. Is she pocketing the difference? I own 4 vehicles and have been coming to this location for 30+ years and have never had anything but good, honest, and reputable service. Until today. Today 11/17/25 I went to this establishment to get an inspection. There was no waiting except for the attendant that seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. Very slow to get up from her seat to get me inside, so I greeted her by say hello. She had a look on her face that was not pleasant from the beginning. I then asked her to smile and she took offense to me saying it. We exchanged words as she kept telling me to go sit down. I felt uncomfortable with the situation so I told her I was no longer interested in getting my car inspected. Very rude for a customer to be treated this way. I will no longer do business with this establishment if they continue to employ people who care less about the business and customers. read more

Went here early in the morning and was seen right away. Inspection was only about 7 minutes. Went in and paid and was done with everything in 10 minutes. I paid under $20, so this was very reasonable. The owner and his wife were very polite. read more

You get in a line until it's your turn, make sure to have your car insurance ready to show them. There were 2 cars ahead of me and it took about 30 minutes by the time I'm done. While getting my car inspected, the worker told me my car passed, but HE was not going to pass me. Not sure how that is allowed when my vehicle was completely fine, and the documentation he provided also said my vehicle was fine. At first, he said I needed a new battery, I told him my battery was brand new, and he changed his reasoning: he said he KNOWS I had never driven on the freeway before, when that is completely untrue. He insisted my car sits and I do not drive, this car is a Nissan Altima with over 100k miles on it. He called me a liar, put his hand in my face, and told me to stop talking, and when I asked the exact reason why he wouldn't let my car pass, he yelled at me and told me he's not ready to pass it. This worker was rude and entitled. He would not give me a real reason as to why my car shouldn't pass, and urged me to come back in 15 days to get a new inspection done. Seemed like he just wanted more money out of me. I am completely unsatisfied with the services provided and urge you to find someplace else. Somewhere that won't yell at you and decide that they just don't want to pass you because they can. read more

I am new to the Dallas area. This was my first time here. Google site says open at 7am, but actually open at 8am. I was there on a Monday morning waiting for the shop to open. Hours of operation should be updated on Google. Even so, there was one other person waiting for the shop to be open too. I think in total from waiting with one person in front of me it was like 30 mins. Signs said to have insurance card and registration form on the dash ready upon driving up. I've been here before and returned today for my annual inspection. As before, service was quick and courteous. Since I see another review complaining about an "older man"'s customer service, I want to add that the old(er) man who helped me today was very gracious and helped me to quickly and cheaply fix a brake light problem I didn't know about, so I could pass inspection & get on with my busy life. :) I'm glad to have this business as a neighbor in my community! read more

I don't recommend this place to anyone. The older guy who works here is extremely rude , the customer service is poor to say the least and I'm the one spending my money at the business. It takes way longer than 10 minutes , honestly it took 30-45mins. The guy is just rude and grumpy for no reason. The one employee berated a young lady thought he was so intelligent that he should tell her what she should be doing. His boss says he know he is judgmental but what can he do. The old man here is extremely rude. I've brought 3 cars at this location. The first car was with the younger guy who was nice, the second and third car was with the older guy and both times he was very rude. The second car he was demanding on how I should insert my debit card to pay and wound up taking the card from me so he could remit the payment. The third car, he told me that I needed to bring a hard copy insurance card instead of what I had on my proof of insurance from my insurance app, although with my previous cars I had always shown my app and they were always fine, which by the way is also what police authrities and any other entity accept. He then walked off without any regard for me. I guess the old man forgot that he, himself has accepted this before or something, or he's just a disgruntled old man that just needs to retire already. If you guys ever have to deal with this place, please don't let the old man have his way and set him in his place by explaining to him the correct way to do business, so he discontinued this type of treatment with others. Next time I go, it will be so that he's made aware of his horrible service, since I doubt service with them will continue from my part anymore. read more

This place is super fast, but the guy working there is unprofessional. I went across the street to the seven eleven to purchase a drink for my wife and I and while I was gone he was telling my wife to get a real man because he had to screw in the lightbulb on my headlights, which I was unaware was out because we drive during the day, and never at night. Upon my return he began telling me how it was my job to screw in the light bulb and not his, and his wife would have kicked his ass if he had allowed her to drive a car in such shape. After approving the vehicle for registration we went into the office to pay. I kept my cool, being a grown man and everything, even as he continued to mock me in front of his other customers. "Oh this guy's got time to buy drinks while I am busting my ass doing his job" he says. I feel like if your in such a crappy relationship where your wife kicks your ass and you need to take your day out on better men who don't make have to make a living twisting headlight bulbs, and you are this miserable in life... you should re-think your life strategies and put yourself in a more enjoyable line of employment. I'm giving the guy three stars because he was super fast and was done in the eight minutes it took me to purchase drinks and food for my woman. Would have given him five if he were acting like a grown adult. If your into fast service and don't really care about the opinions of people who are clearly miserable with their life decision this is the place for you. I'll return because its fast, and am well beyond the opinions of folks who can't get much further in life than mike the mechanic or whatever this little guys name was. In your forties you should be far beyond this position, or comfortable in it, whichever suits you best. Plenty of people do well in positions of servitude without acting like a child. read more

NEVER go here. They are crooked and very unprofessional. I went here for over ten years until the owner either sold or is just not there any more. I took my car there and it passed. I lost my inspection report and called to get another one. I asked to speak to the owner who I have always dealt with. The guy who answered refused to give me the owners name, told me he would not call me back for five days and then called me stupid when I asked him the owners last night. These men are anything but honest.The older man kept telling me that my car would not pass and I needed to take it to a friend of his.He yelled he hollered at me he cussed me.My daughter's friend is a mechanic he finally came back into town when he put my car on the machine it passed without any problem.He went back with me with the readout in his hand.All the sudden the car passed in 5 minutes and he laughed because he knew that he was caught he wanted more money.I could not believe this I had just put my sister to rest that passed away from cancer I had lost my job.This man treated me like a piece of garbage he told me I better not bring my I won't say the word back until I went to his friend that was a mechanic or he wouldn't pass me. read more

The guy who greeted us was a little quirky but did an excellent job. He showed us our AC filter and how dirty it was. Told us to go next door to the auto parts shop and get a new one. He installed it for us for nothing. It took about 10 minutes to do the total inspection not counting the putting in of the new filter. We will definitely be taking our cars back for their annual inspections since it's so quick. We paid about 25 bucks for our inspection. read more
