Meh. Very disappointing. I have read about 10 Twenty-five and decided to give it a try. Originally we were going to eat in, but apparently they never heard of Covid. Not a mask in sight. Take out was the call of the day. Let's talk food. Meh. The Mac n cheese with fried chicken was totally underwhelming. The description sounded great, but it didn't deliver. It was quite bland, both the Mac and the chicken. Bummer. The bangers and mash were very good. The sausage had a nice flavor and tasted authentic. The mash was good as well. We also had the pretzel app. The cheese sauce was good. The pretzel was pretty good as well. The problem is, between the salt in the pretzel and the salt in the cheese, it was too much. What Fun! This Gastropub really embodies the concept of gastropubs. Easily found in the central Cape area it is a delight. The atmosphere is busy and cheerful. The staff are really attentive and know their stuff. The food? Wow! There is a really creative presence in the kitchen. I had the Smoked beef, bacon cheese Tot Poutine. It is incredible. My daughter opted for the (wait for it) Cheeseburger Lo Mein. It sounds like something that should never be attempted but what a loss if they hadn't. Everything you want in a good cheeseburger chopped and mixed with the lo mein. My wife (being the reasonable one) had Baja boats. Romain leaves for transporting a delicious shrimp salad. If you find yourself in the Cape Coral area it is well worth the trip. read more

Two stars for excellent service. Food was unique and pretty tasty although many spicy dishes including mine (The Bully). Yukon mash was really just super dry smashed potato (not creamy at all). Wife had salad with grilled chicken and liked it. Sons burger was a little over cooked for medium temp (light grey center) but he still liked it and that happens with burgers. Wait staff was attentive and seemed like at least four different staff members came to check on the table. Pretzel stick w/ beer cheese was great. Old menu had a lot of great items that didn't survive the menu revamp that kept us and a number of family members and friends repetitively returning for lunch and dinner. Tangerine wheat beer was also pretty good but zero carbonation in it. Final nail in the coffin for me (strictly on principle) that takes this from a 4 star to 2 star and non returning visit is their change to the bill. I work in the banking industry (for decades) and can tell you integrity and honesty are my two biggest pet peeves since I was a kid and now as a parent. You should not as a business owner present a bill to your customer at the end of a meal, with total and tax included, take the customer card, run it for additional fees to cover your card processing fees at a higher amount, without "A" letting guests know up front, or at the very least having staff advise this on bill or on menu. It comes across as deceptive and sneaky (ie, car dealership). As much as the meal was certainly adequate and the service was great, this did it for us. I also can't in good faith recommend them anymore either. The 3.00 fee assessed to cover your card processing could easily have been passed along as a $0.50 increase to your already reasonable menu prices, and no one would know the difference. Instead that $3.00 fee just lost hundreds in future business dollars. read more

The establishment is a Gastro Pub with a great ambiance and a really creative menu. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. They also serve brunch. I had the pleasure of visiting 10 twenty five for a date night. I want to start off by mentioning how pleasurable and sweet the staff are. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I selected the Crab Rangoon Griller based off of recommendation of our waitress. It was extremely delicious. The crab was fresh and cooked perfectly. The cream cheese, sriracha, and Firecracker sauce added the perfect amount of flavor to the sandwich. I will say that the sandwiches are fairly big so definitely come hungry. For the side I selected the Mac n cheese due to recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the Mac n cheese. I would love to go back and try it again because it's possible I may have received a bad batch. I heard it was amazing. My boyfriend selected the Jabba the Hen sandwich. It was super delicious! He said it tasted like chicken Parmesan which I believe is what they were going for! I got to try a bit and I was really impressed. For the side he selected the fries but also was not too impressed with them. I selected the Pinot noir to drink and it was really delightful. Overall I had a good experience. Their main course entrees seem to be a hit and they don't seem to miss! They could work on their sides a bit but that's not a make or break for me. Wasn't for us. We went there for lunch and had The Bully, Galbi Burger and the Chicken Mac. The Bully's cherry pepper relish they put on the sandwich overpowered the rest of the flavors in the sandwich which was disappointing. The black truffle aioli was also overpowering in flavor in the Galbi Burger. The chicken mac was good, cheese sauce was light in flavor and the fried chicken on it wasn't soggy. I believe this would be an example of less is better and these sandwiches would have been better with less condiments on it. My parents loved everything they had. But the truffle Mac and cheese with chicken didn't have much flavor, I didn't taste cheese at all. And the truffle wasn't strong enough to make up for the lack of cheesiness. Chicken was fine, but honestly I would have preferred the option to order without chicken (as in let the chicken be an extra add on). My dad LOVED the brisket sandwich. And the fries here are great. My mom got the special, which was a Korean ramen dish. She definitely liked it. The only problem was that she took the rest to go, and for some reason they gave her a normal takeout container for it, even though it was a broth based meal. We recently came with family for a birthday celebration. Based on our experience we'll be back again and again. It's a place with a welcoming ambience; lots of TVs scattered on every wall. A real bar at which to mingle. The food was great except -- and I hate to say this -- the tacos, which weren't even up to standards. (We were there for Taco Tuesday, so tacos are obligatory. Which means, I guess, I won't go back on a Tuesday?) But everything else was great! Every meal was a winner, the service was attentive, the prices are fair and -- if you're a beer drinker -- the craft beer selection is the best in the area. Highly recommended. read more

Don't believe the hype! This place blows. Service was good, but that's where the praise ends. First of all, restaurants shouldn't put "Wine" in their business description and then charge $45 for "premium" bottle when their serving unrecognizable bottles. Bartenders and servers didn't even know what they had for offerings in all the red categories. OK fine...I get it, it's supposed to be more of a brew pub with some gastronomic items...wrong! Beer was mediocre at best and dishes, while creatively described in the menu, were no better than what you get at Applebees. Oh and almost forgot to mention, they charged us a service fee of $6 for using a credit card. And no one told us. Shame on them! 10 Twenty Five has been a staple for our family for years now and it was only natural to review one of our favorites. We started off with the soft pretzels and beer cheese. They always give you more beer cheese than is "needed" for the pretzels and I'm not complaining. Their beer cheese is pretty great and having that extra cheese around is great for dipping the fries in when the entrees come. I (JH) ordered The Bully sandwich. A hoagie roll with shaved prime rib, pork roll, melty American cheese, caramelized onions, cherry pepper relish and roasted garlic. It was a lot of sandwich, a lot of meat and a lot of garlic. Just the way I like it. The bun was soft and fresh but also held up to support the large amount of filling inside. The blend of meat, cheese, and garlic was balanced wonderfully, though I could see how some would say it's too garlic-y. I (JD) ordered The Umami Melt with a side of fries (dipped in the extra beer cheese, yum!). I said I would never use words like "mouth-feel" and "umami" in my reviews. But, this is an exception because it's in the name. It's also my favorite thing on their menu. This amazing sandwich starts with two pieces of grilled sourdough. Inside, you will find an incredible bison patty topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, truffle mushroom duxelle, and a kimchi aioli. This sandwich will blow your mind. The combination of flavors is perfect. They have so many great things on the menu, but I have gotten this the last three times I have been there because it is just so good. If you like a good patty melt, I can assure you that you will love this sandwich! As is usually the case, the service was great. Multiple servers stopped by to make sure we were ok, make sure the drinks were always topped off, and to ensure the food was good. This was no surprise because 10 Twenty Five regularly has great service, but it needs to be mentioned as so many places are struggling with getting good help these days and it should be celebrated when you experience such good service from people who seem to genuinely enjoy their job and care that you have a good experience. Be sure to check out their social media pages as they have various things (trivia/live music/etc.) going on throughout the week. They also post some pretty tasty looking dishes for weekend specials. Such a cool spot in Cape. Loved the vibe of this place. They have a ton beer on taps and even more options in can and bottles. We just went for drinks but decided to get pretzel sticks. I wasn't a fan of the beer cheese. I felt like it tasted too much like seasoning. But the service was really good and it was fast, despite the fact that they were full! Sitting outside on a beautiful afternoon, i ordered a cold beer (shower something - a refreshing pilsner that hit the spot) as well as two appetizers - Sweet Chili Cauliflower Lettuce Wraps - Mac and Cheese Fireballs On one end, healthy eating with a crunch. (The food here is always delicious and often has a "twist" versus traditional recipes. This was no exception.) I am always on the prowl for a perfect shrimp po'boy. This not *quite* a shrimp po'boy but other than the tortillas it's close enough! I chose blackened (as opposed to grilled or fried) shrimp. They were large, juicy, and perfectly done. The diced tomatoes and Romaine was fresh and crunchy. The flour tortillas were the perfect "hand holder" while also adding a slightly chewy texture. The "firecracker" sauce was tangy and balanced with the whole. Needless to say, I devoured these quickly! (This is the lunch special on Fridays...but is always available by special order, I was told.) As [an] a side, I ordered the mac and cheese. It's incredibly creamy! I found out it uses "liquid cheddar" along with heavy cream and cream cheese (!), along with something I'd never heard of called "Complete Seasoning." 10 Twenty-Five is the go to gastropub! Our entire experience was exceptional. The beer choices were very solid, especially the ciders (we had the apple pie cider). Outdoor seating options were very comfortable and the service was good. The music selection was amazing because it was early 2000s and consisted of Bowling For Soup, Blink-182, and All American rejects. We got the poutine and fireball Mac and cheese balls, which were absolute fire! Both were within reason for price and very filling. The only pitfall of this place was that I wish they had more gluten free options for our friends but at least they were transparent about their limited gluten free availability. My beautiful bride, Silvia, and I tried this place out when it was recommended by a friend of mine. Man! The pub food here is awesome! Both the Smoked Flat Bread and Lava Chips were delicious!
