The tech arrived 1 hour beyond the 3 hour window with no phone call. The estimate to replace two faucets ( I supplied Kohler ) I was told that it is a flat fee for the first and 20% off for the next. Also asked about new shut offs. That too was a flat fee for the first with the 20% discount for the remaining 3. After having a minor attack when the numbers were finally given, I said I would need to think on the national debt. He said he would e-mail the estimate. That was 34 days ago and no estimate yet. Had water dripping through my kitchen ceiling yesterday from the upstairs bathroom. I didn't want to wait a few days for the home warranty people to come out. I found their info on NextDoor and called them right away. They had a technician out within 2 hours. He explained what he was going to do and was up front about the cost of diagnosis. He determined it was a faulty seal on a recently installed upstairs toilet. He fixed the problem. Everyone was professional. I think the repair and reseat of the toilet cost was fair given it was an emergency call. I asked him if he should check my other upstairs toilet that was recently installed and he took a look and told me he didn't believe there was an issue with that toilet and he didn't want me to have to pay for him to pull the toilet and then reseat it if there was nothing wrong. 100% Plumbing had a plumber available when I called to arrange an appointment, so Tim came over right away! I had water on the garage floor near my water heater. Tim inspected all around and found that the leak was a drainage tube from my water softener that ran near the water heater! All I needed was a new drainage tube, not a new water heater or repairs for a slab leak that less honest plumbing outfits might have decided to "fix" and charge me. Oh my gosh we are so thrilled with our experience. My husband called when he got home from work because our tub had a leak that was leaking into the wall. We hired this company for bathroom remodels. Scheduling was off and on the first day they arrived late and unprepared after taking the job. Three different plumbers on the job came and went and stated they did not have the experience for the job. We called the owner, Mont who begrudgingly arrived and was not professional and seemed angry. He had no idea of the scope of the work and blamed us for not having a general contractor for the bathroom remodels. He simply stated he did not need the job and was walking away and would not charge for the work done. He and the last plumber, Angel left abruptly and an hour later I found another leak and had to call them back again to fix the leak. Fortunately, we were able to find another company to complete the job. The bottom line is this company showed no integrity whatsoever. read more

They didn't want to to give me a bid price. I was surprised because they had good reviews. I understand when diagnosing a problem, a plumber has to be on site to give a price quote. But I called it to try and get a basic price for what it would cost to remove an old toilet and install a new toilet. That should be a simple price quote, and able to be completed by any field tech over a phone call. Or at least it was for the other companies I called to get comparison price quotes. I don't want to have someone come into my home to give me a price quote on something that can be done over the phone. So, unfortunately I won't be able to use this company... Since they didn't want to even offer a price for a simple procedure like replacing a toilet over the phone. :( read more

My wife & I have been wanting to find a new plumbing team for awhile and found ourselves needing to locate where our sewer clean outs got buried during some landscaping several years ago. We used this as an opportunity to vet and price out a new company. We always try to stay local and family owned and 100% Plumbing fit the bill. However they earned our future business by being a model of how a good company should be run. I submitted my inquiry through their website and received a call back from Rebecca in the front office shortly thereafter. She answered my questions and put me in touch with McKinley who helped us sort out the job details and estimate thereof. I even got a follow up email from the owner making sure I had been taken care of and this was all prior to making the decision to hire them. Mike & McKinley both showed up within the window advised and were here for less than an hour, successfully helping to find both of our clean out drains (we thought we only had one). We also got an estimate for a new hot water heater while they were here and they made sure there was nothing else that they couldn't take a look at or help with while they were on site. I was hearing the sound of water running in my wall, but couldn't find a leak anywhere. I knew that was probably bad news so I put off dealing with it until the noise was pretty loud. I found 100% Plumbing on Yelp, and when I explained the issue, they sent Chase out in about an hour. Chase looks super young, but he is knowledgeable, and very patient. I ask questions and tend to follow around a little. He explained what he was looking for and doing. It was the worst case scenario: a slab leak. They gave me a quote and didn't pressure me to make a decision right away (costly fix involving a lot of re-routing pipes and cutting into walls). They were available to get the job done immediately, and since I was losing a gallon of water per minute, and the price was reasonable, I approved it. Chase did some work himself, and McKinley came out to help with locating the leak and figuring out the options to re-route the pipes. Two more guys came to help out with the work, and it was done the same day. I don't think their prices are the lowest, but they're reasonable and everyone is professional, courteous, competent and nice. Their communication is top-notch. I received text messages and emails throughout. Also, the fact that they were able to respond immediately and spend all day as needed was great. When you need a plumber, it's usually "now". I would use them again, and I will recommend them to others. read more

I recently had 100% Plumbing out to take care of some shower valves that needed replace.......the replacement cartridges were difficult to find according to a previous plumber. 100% came out , verified the necessary parts, got them ordered and stayed in contact with me while the parts were ordered......... communication is a rarity in business today but these guys did it very well. We had a leak appear from our upstairs shower onto our downstairs ceiling. I called 100% plumbing and they got Angel out there within an hour. Angel opened up my ceiling and found that the issue was not related to a plumbing issue. He then put me in contact with a tile guy and he got a restoration company out to my house for me. There was no charge for his time and the company did not try to gouge me for something they couldn't fix. Very honest and helpful during a very stressful situation. But a few weeks ago I began noticing that the housing had started to leak. Luckily, this thing had been located on the outside of our house - so the leak was more of a nuisance than a big mess. But it was time to replace the copper pipes and shutoff valves, and the old filter housing as well. So I got three prices from three different plumbers. Although the price I got from 100% Plumbing wasn't the lowest, I found 100% Plumbing and the many 5 Star ratings on Yelp from their former customers to be the deciding factor. Jason showed up on the day and time we had agreed on, and he worked for a couple of hours. When he finished, I found his work to be first class. Everything he said he would do had been done perfectly. All the new copper pipes and shutoff valves were placed exactly as they needed to be. And the new pipes and cartridge housing had no runs, drips, or errors. I am very happy that I chose 100% Plumbing to do the work I needed to have done. Mont answered my call and right away I was struck by his courteous, thoughtful, and thorough demeanor. I explained that we had a nanny at home and he was thoughtful enough to ask her name and get any important information to ensure that she felt comfortable with the technician. They utilize this great service that shows you a picture of the technician as well as notifies you as to when they are en route to the house. We called because our water softener was leaking and turns out, we just put in too much salt (oops!). I was shocked that we were given great instruction on how to properly use the water softener but weren't charged anything for the consult.
