Well, I found them on Yelp as 106 Seafood Underground but clearly there have been some changes. Let's get into it. I don't live here so when searching for restaurants online it is really important that the owners should also update their social media pages, including Google searches and YELP. When I arrived I was definitely confused because it actually looked like two abandoned buildings. Because I had taken an Uber and only had a few hours to catch a flight even though it kind of felt uncomfortable. I went ahead and stayed because I was running short on time. The one thing I definitely had an issue with is this restaurant was 100% outdoor outdoors . They had formally changed their name and I don't know where they were before or how they operated but they are actually located in a parking lot and in the parking lot, there is a different food truck. It was a bit chilly outside and they did have heat lamps, but with it being so damp outside and I really wasn't feeling well. This was not the ideal setting. The menus were a little limited. No dessert, desserts, not that many appetizers and yet, the reviews were really high and the shrimp looked good in the photos so I did order it. Now I have to say this shrimp dish was Delicious !! great size on the shrimp, really great portion and seasoned to perfection. A hint of spice but just enough. The rice was super yummy and cooked to perfection. I just didn't like the idea that I was going somewhere completely. Unknown arrived to somewhere Unknown and didn't know if I was eating in the same place as I was reading the reviews. My staff was friendly. The food didn't take too long to arrive as I was the only one there and I could definitely recommend this location.

Tucked away treat - backyard in a neighborhood in Inglewood serving fresh/quality food. Everything I've ordered has always been a hit so trying to slowly work through the menu! It does get incredibly busy on weekends and no reservations so prepare for a wait - but its worth it. They also have live music. Perfect choice for a sunny day in Los Angeles.

Outstanding..... ordered the ceviche tropical, tacos gobernador, and tacos chicharrón de pescado. The customer service was great and they will explain and help with the menu. Ceviche tropical...great marinade and plenty of shrimp. The apple and mango just takes you to the next level. Tacos gobernador.... You get 3 tacos, cheesy and plenty of shrimp. Flavor is perfect and another great plate Tacos chicharrón de pescado...the fish nuggets are perfectly fried and have a great fish taste...not fishy but fish taste. Add the green agua chile salsa and you're great.

Not sure what rating to give here since I wasn't able to try their food. Based off the hours and reviews listed, I decided to go during the week to avoid the crowds. I showed up on a Wednesday at 2:30pm, and nobody was there. I actually found parking right across the street, so I felt that everything was going to go great! I drove from OC, and I understand that me driving over an hour to visit your restaurant is not the restaurants fault, but it is their responsibility to list their business hours correctly. I have submit a 'Suggest to edit' on their business hours, so hopefully this doesn't happen to others. If you plan to visit, maybe call ahead. I was sadly disappointed.

Cuacarachitas, I believe tropical ceviche.... And chicharrón de pescado.

Service was horrible. Whatever food they did have available was good. Ambiance was terrible, besides the service being crappy, the table behind us had and obviously drunk vulgar person screaming at another table and picking his shirt up while kids were around. I understand parking is limited they have no control over that side note park on the Main Street near it plenty of parking there. Took us over 2 hours to get seated. About an hour to get our food and when we did right as she was handing over our plates it turns out they ran out of one thing which should of been mentioned before they handed our plates out the waitress asked if we wanted another plate on the menu rudely like in the tone "take it or leave it" we said no since we probably would of had to wait another hour. Wouldn't be back just for mariscos.

I'm not going to lie I was a tiny bit skeptical about this place given that it is in the backyard of a residential home in a "rough" neighborhood in Inglewood. First thing's first, parking SUCKS. So pack some patience for your day. But it is Absolutely Worth it! The owners have transformed the backyard into anything but ordinary and it looks fresh and cute. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. My favorite here is the chicharron de pescado. Crispy fried chunks of white fish marinated in a sour sauce (you can't get enough of it) they have a green aguachile sauce that they bring table side along with chips and it is so good (but very HOT).

Parking suckssss! But it's expected if you know this location is in a residential area in a backyard. Food was worth the no parking and long wait. Took a while to take our orders. The chicharron de pescado appetizer was my fav. We tried the mango, apple and fish ceviches (3 different ones), the borracho shrimps and the agua chiles verdes. Everything was good. No micheladas on a Sunday heard it might be a summer thing and they didnt have lemonade which is something i was recommended to try. Would come again.

Excellent food and service! The chef makes the best dishes and he is very welcoming. The only con is the parking because it's in a residential area. We are definitely returning.

I've heard a lit about this place from coworkers since it was the Underground. It did not disappoint. My favorite out of everything we got was the Ceviche Tropical but everything was spot on. Took it to go but the lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful with navigating my order. Inside look clean and wasn't to busy. My food took less then 20 minutes to make. I'm definitely going to be coming back to try more.

Let's get the cons out of the way. This restaurant is in a residential area so there is very limited parking. We parked about a 5 min walk away. Also the restaurant is behind a house and there is very limited signage. We asked a neighbor who was working in his front yeard who pointed is in the right direction a few houses down the street. The minute we found the place it was a 5 star experience. Thankfully we beat the crowd on a Sunday early afternoon. There were two other parties laready seated and we were seated immediately. All the seating is outside but they have a series of umbrellas and tents cover around 2/3rd of the seating. If you come during a busy time you may get stuck in the sun so bring sunscreen or a hat if you're sensitive to sitting in the sun. The waitress was very nice. She answered our questions about the menu, which was heavily in Spanish, and made some recommendations. We got Chicharrones de Pexcado and it was fabulous. 10 out of 10 absolutely recommend. It was the favorite of everyone in the group. Then we got the Green Apple ceviche and an assortment of tacos (shrimp and fish) including Marlin Tacos). Everything was really tasty and I would absolutely recommend checking it out. All the food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was great service sizes for sharing and the cats who were running around were adorable but also stayed a cautious distance from the diners.

Great food, outdoor ambiance, a little crowded. Service was great. Payment is cash or via Zelle.

OMGz!!!! So tasty. I was had seen this place on some post's and some youtube and when I saw that it was in my neighborhood I had to go. My friend and I went for my bday and just told Chef Sergio Peñuelas to make us up some stuff. We had the grilled whole fish, the langostino, Marlin Taco, Fish Taco's, plus others. All so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. Yes, parking is interesting as it's in a neighborhood, and literally in his backyard. But that is actually some of the joy once you get into the backyard oasis, covered and comfy tables. Service was his family and they were so helpful. I have not been at it's very busiest yet so I can't speak to that. Come check it out for sure.

    106 Shrimp
    Nancy V.

Unfortunately Micheladas are not served during the week makes me wonder how special are they that they are only made on weekends. So my next visit will be a weekend. It's a backyard set up and gives a simple Oasis vibe. The green sauce is fire and was a win for sure. Ordered the Ceviche Marinero and an order of the 106 Shrimp both were shareable between 2 ppl could've actually shared between 3. The 106 Shrimp is worth a try when you visit especially if you are a garlic fan. Waitress and Chef very nice you are welcome into their home as if you were a guest and not a paying customer. We will definitely be back soon and I'll update this review more in depth.

First time at Martin's and we will definitely be back to try some more options…read more Food: ° Taco Sampler - you get 6 tacos (2) Al Pastor, (2) Asada, (2) Chicken with guacamole, pico de gallo, cilantro, onions, and lime. These tacos were so good. Great flavor on all of them but my favorite was the al pastor and pineapple. Great choice for small groups. ° Ceviche Camaron Con Mango - this was my favorite of the day. The flavor was so good and it was a large portion, it came with sliced cucumbers dipped in tajin on the side. The dish had avocado slices with mango sauce smothered on top. The Tostadas were made fresh. Loved this dish. It's a must try. ° Chips and Salsa - the salsa is everything. You can literally put it on anything and everything. I cant believe how good it tasted. It's smoky, mild heat with a good mild consistency. We put it on the tacos and it changed everything. I would buy this salsa!! We also added guacamole and heads up it could use some salt and lime to enhance the flavor so we added it in ourselves. ° Steak Fajitas - This plate was so hot and stayed hot the entire time. The meat was well seasoned and they give you plenty for one person. The tortillas come wrapped in thin paper to keep them warm and you get rice and beans with sour cream and pico. It's a must try. Really good. ° Baked Salmon Roll (Sushi) - The roll was big and had flavor you get about 8 pieces and the salmon is cooked table side with a torch. This gives you the option to cook the salmon to your liking. I chose medium toasted. It's a really cool experience. The flavor was great I would order this again. They do need to get better soy sauce cups, the ones they have are too deep and its really a salsa bowl. ° Combination Plate - you can choose 2 or 3 items so of course I chose 3 items. A chicken Enchilada, Hard Shell Taco (chicken), and a Chile Rellano with red sauce, and Rice and beans, the red sauce had a strong tomato base that I didn't really like too much but the Enchilada, and Chile Rellano was still pretty good. The portions are just right and the plate stayed hot. ° Drinks - we ordersd a Strawberry Frozen Margarita, and a Cadillac Margarita both can be ordered in large sizes which we did and when i say those are large drinks, those are large drinks. The bar tenders was quick too and the drinks was made just right. Service: The staff did a great job and seated us quickly, he was polite, attentive, and checked on us when he saw plates empty or us looking for assistance. The staff was great!! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a good vibe with plenty of TV's to watch sports, the bar is big and their is plenty of seating its a pretty big restaurant but it is split into two different sides. So if your looking for a place with space for big groups they can accommodate. They also have music playing but not too loud so conversations are easier. Location: It's on La Brea Ave in inglewood CA near the corner of Regent St. Price: The prices are fair. It's about $20-$30 per person. Parking: The parking sucks. It's really bad but you can park around the corner on the street. It is paid meter parking.

This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and this is easily becoming one of our go-to spots for nights out. Highly recommend.

The green pozole was one of my favorites full of flavor and perfectly prepared. We truly enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning. Highly recommend both the food and the outstanding service! (We will be back, she makes the best coconut margarita and I loved the little colorful flower arrangement)

My friends and I had been traveling all day (I had driven over 6 hours), and the last thing we…read morewanted to do when we arrived in LA was to search for a restaurant. We were staying near LAX and I didn't want to drive too far, so we stumbled upon this Mexican spot in the cutest little downtown area ever. El Segundo, you are THAT b*tch! We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday and were seated immediately (thank goodness). Our server was super duper friendly and even had multiple conversations with us throughout the meal, sharing anecdotes and talking to my tattoo artist friend about getting a tat from her LOL. We quickly ordered some chips and queso (not free) and were blown away by how creamy and tasty the queso was. The tortas were also delicious and easy to scoop a lot of cheese on to. On to the menu, they had a good variety of Mexican dishes, but the price point, man. I thought $4-5 a taco at Barrio Queen in Arizona was steep, but this place charged $7-8 for a single small taco. I would've been okay with any menu item since it's Mexican and nothing under that cuisine could be bad, but seeing each enchilada over $30, made me steer clear of the main entree dishes. I also knew I wanted to try fish tacos, so I just opted for one fish taco and one grilled taco, with a side of mashed black beans. Crazy that some black beans also were at least $5. The fish taco was nicely battered and the guacamole was ripe and creamy, but the grilled chicken taco was nothing spectacular. There was also cauliflower tacos and beef brisket tacos ordered among us. My friend who ordered the beef brisket taco rated it 7.5/10, whereas the cauliflower tacos were rated 9/10. The food also took at least 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Both sauces my tacos came with were extremely spicy so I didn't even touch those. My friends enjoyed their meals, and the side of green rice two of them got was rather tasty. Overall, our server was the best part of the experience. She really ate DOWN, whereas our food and the price point did not.

I found out about this spot from Yelp of course :)…read more The employees are really nice even the cooks will greet you from the window and overall they make me feel appreciated as a customer and I find that really special. The food is fantastic! I am a connoisseur of all things seafood and It's such a blessing to live in Los Angeles and have delicious fresh Mariscos at your fingertips. I had the Aguachile, The Beer battered Shrimp Tacos and Ceviche. Everything was very tasty. I Love fresh Raw Seafood, but my mom wasn't as adventurous so I opted to get her the cooked version. Both are equally as tasty! Everything tasted Fresh, bright and vibrant with the lime juices. The Aguachile had a nice kick, but very tasty and fresh. Depending on the time you go they do have an accessible patio area that's available for outdoor dining. We sat inside and the music was festive and lively. There are also TV's if you want to watch a sports game. Definitely would recommend trying Lalo's out if you're in the area.

My husband and I hardly ever carry cash so we had to use their atm machine for a three dollar fee. We usually get the ceviche mixto, shrimp cocktail & fried calamari. This time we only ordered the ceviche mixto & fried calamari due to the cash amount we got from the atm. & unfortunately the calamari was very stale. It had a weird aftertaste as if the oil was a little old. Customer service was great as always.
