Been to 11 Tigers twice now and both times it was excellent. Totally cool vibe with great food at fairly reasonable prices. Really good drinks too

11 Tigers is a classic case of social media hype gone wrong. They clearly spent a lot on influencer marketing -- but none of it matched reality. The seafood was not fresh (rubbery and fishy), and the dishes felt like low-quality pre-made meals. Absolutely not worth the high prices. So disappointed -- it felt like getting scammed.

Colorful atmosphere and fun decor. We shared the Bad Kitty On Fire drink, tuna hand roll, gyoza, shumai, and pad Thai ped dum- stir fried black noodles with egg, onion, chive, lime and peanuts, topped with crispy duck. Everything was so good! And the staff is really nice.

Love this place! The food is consistently good, the service is nice, and it's always a fun ambiance. It can get loud when there's a lot of people, but never bad. I've tried nearly everything on their menu and it's all good, although some dishes I love more. Drinks are creative and good too. Some of the dishes come with a fun, unexpected show too! Duck curry with noodles: so good. Crispy duck. Delicious noodles. Great curry flavor. Chirashidons: they're expensive for the portion and I didn't think it tasted as good quality as I'd expect for the price. Mango sticky rice: good. It's not the best I've had but I still enjoy it. Takoyaki: satisfies my cravings. Crisp exterior. Not my favorite in the city but I happily order this.

Once more, frilly, really exciting looking videos from online influencers, is how I ended up at 11 Tigers. My friend made reservations for seven of us to eat, drink and vibe last night, in continuous celebration of my bday month. One of my friends got there a little early. The server was not cool with her arriving before the rsvp start time and expecting to be seated. She was given such a lousy attitude, that she opted to leave and grab a drink at a bar across the street until we were all there. Once everyone arrived, I was ready for what I thought was going to be a fabulous night. Posts and videos online show colorful cuisine, gorgeous cocktails, people dining in tiger masks...fun stuff. What we actually got, was a waitstaff that seemed annoyed by our existence, crummy appetizers, (chicken bites and octopus balls) and cute drinks that actually weren't too bad. I assumed that there would be a DJ or some really dope satellite music playing. What we got instead sounded like Lite FM tunes. We didn't bother to order main courses because we were just ready to go. I was sooo disappointed because I'm the one who picked out 11 Tigers for the group and it was an epic fail. We even decided on wearing animal print outfits and accessories to go with the alleged theme of the restaurant and it was all for nothing. Nobody in my party of seven was feeling very celebratory about anything at this place. Won't be going back!

Loved it!! We came in very last minute on a Friday night not expecting to be able to get a table for our party of four. Luckily we were able to snag one and had a great experience! The food was all incredible and everyone really enjoyed everything they had. Service was all right. It was a little bit slow, but they were packed beyond belief so I don't fault them at all for this as the staff was very kind as well. I think the ambience in conjunction with the food are the two best parts of this establishment. It has a very cool ambience, and we felt ourselves looking around the entire time at all the interesting and unique decor. We're so glad that we popped into 11 Tigers and will without a doubt keep coming back.

Came here on a Saturday as we couldn't get to the place we actually wanted to go, there's a birthday party group in the front of the restaurant so it was pretty loud, the place is dimmly lighted, music is pretty loud too, we ordered cocktails, which are decorated very pretty w fresh flower and artistic tajin salt, I had something tequila based which was really good! we ordered Tiger karage app, which was terrible, soggy fried chicken and overtly salty, I almost wanted to return the dish, I ordered steak for my entree, the quality of steak for the price we paid for, there's long tendon running thru the whole steak and it was really chewy, it was abit over cook too as i ordered medium. my friend ordered a noodle dish which was mediocre! Overall, the foods are terrible, I can see it's try to be loud and fun, but the foods just doesn't stand up! I wouldn't mind coming back for cocktails and there's happy hour.

More like fine dining experience All the dishes are small but prepared really well and beautifully! Everything was amazing except fried boneless chicken. Not Cristy and I personally think they added too much flower The happy hour appetizer and drink are so worth it. Environment: loud! Service: servers are not always around. They got really big space and I only see 3 waiters

Food was good, pleasantly surprised at the dishes. The service was ok, the drinks took a long time to come.

Food 4 stars, and service -2 stars. Don't take me wrong, the food is okay to good - avg level as you can expect from a Southeastern Asian cuisine. But the service is sooooo bad - one of the worse in the city. The discrimination started even before we sat down- the whole restaurant has so many spare seats (over half empty) and they insisted on putting us on a table right next to the door, after we asked if we can be arranged to another one by the window. But another party of the same size was arranged there. When asked some water after we sat in, the waiter literally rolled his eyes to us and so impatient. Last but not least, pay attention to the check - this one charges 22% tips on an AFTER TAX basis. You need to point it to them, showed the numbers on your calculator, before they can admit and give you a new one.

It was a surprised dinner and I had such a great time. There was a little bit of a wait time, but we didn't wait more than 20 min. They have some nice signature cocktails and great food selection. I highly recommend the tuna. It was perfect. Check this cute dinner speakeasy !

Such a cute hole in the wall place! I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. The food was delicious, the drinks were yummy with a great ambiance to go with it!

One of my favorite Thai restaurants in NYC. Decor is fun and food and drink creations are unique. The oysters are big and they have happy hour specials until 7pm. Service is very good!

As for food, there were some true hits but most of the food was good but basic. The highlights for me were the wild mushrooms & rice cakes as well as the Caesar salad - loved the use of nori in the salad and would definitely come back for the mushrooms. The chicken cutlet and chicken dumplings were fine but I probably wouldn't order them again. The wait staff weren't super attentive nor super warm, but they were efficient when we asked for water refills, etc. There was ample standing room at the bar while we waited for our friends, but the table/booth that we sat at was super narrow, I was knocking knees with my friend all night and generally felt squished.

Calling him a bartender almost feels like an understatement--he's a true cocktail craftsman. I was amazed watching him create drinks based simply on a few words or flavors we mentioned. It felt less like ordering a cocktail and more like collaborating on one. Of course, he also nailed the classics. The Clover Club and Gimlet were both perfectly executed, and my husband tried three different whiskey cocktails throughout the evening and loved every single one. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for from a speakeasy: dark, intimate, and unassuming. The space is small, which adds to the experience, although the bar stools are definitely not designed for settling in for a three-hour hang (my only minor complaint). But honestly, that probably helps keep the experience moving and allows more people to enjoy this special spot. Attaboy is a great example of why NYC has such a legendary cocktail scene. The drinks, the craftsmanship, and the personal attention make it clear why this place gets so much attention. We'll absolutely be back.
