Came here mid-COVID for the outdoor patio dining and everything was pretty average. We tried the steak and cheese sandwich along with the Cubano sandwich - both were good, but nothing fantastic. The staff was very friendly and following all safety guidelines so it made our time here very comfortable. The menu is extensive and I'd be open to coming back here when indoor dining is open to try something else. read more

I like this place. It's a chair restaurant/bar, and you'll find the same types of food like at any other chain place, but most of their food is cooked well. Their fried calamari is cooked well- not oily or soggy. Just right. Their salmon is typically cooked at the right doneness as well, and their deserts are rich and satisfying. read more

After a weekend in the Woburn/Salem area, Bestie and I needed something a little more low-key for dinner before we headed back the next day. 110 Grill was down the street from our hotel, so we decided that would be our choice for the evening. It was still early on a Sunday evening when we arrived. We were greeted warmly as we walked in the door, and headed right over to the bar, where there were plenty of seats. The bartender/server, Chelsea, was right over, welcomed us, handed us menus, and offered to take our drink menu. We told her it may be a bit since the drink menu was rather long, and Bestie was looking for something different than a glass of wine. I, not in an adventurous mood, decided on my standard glass of Sauvignon Blanc. As a side note, there's a relationship between wine and the glass--some wines (especially reds) need room to breathe, and I don't understand why restaurants use the same sized glass for both the small and large pours of wine; It does make a difference in the taste. Anyway, Bestie decided on a specialty cocktail of some sort, and once that arrived, we attacked the menu, trying to figure out what we wanted to eat. There are options for everyone available. If you can't find something you like, then you're too fussy an eater. We agreed on the Asian Calamari as a starter to share. She was a bit more hungry than I was, and ordered the Cuban Swordfish, while I decided on the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich. Each came with a side, and while I picked the Roasted Brussel Sprouts (my favorite), Bestie went with a 1/2 Seasonal Salad. Chelsea was right there to take our order, and to refill my glass, and brought Bestie wine, as well. Food started to come out quickly. The calamari was a decent-sized portion, and was coated in a light crust that was crunchy. The sweet chili sauce was a welcome change from the basic marinara. We polished that off quickly. Her swordfish was perfectly prepared, and the wedge of lime brought the spices on top to life. My sandwich was fairly standard, which was a good thing, but my only comment was that the roll could have been a bit more 'pretzelly'-it really lacked the texture of other pretzel rolls I've eaten had, but given this was outside of the New York area, is forgivable. My sprouts were perfect! Surprisingly, we each decided on dessert. Bestie ordered a hot apple -served crustless in a cast-iron pan, with a huge scoop of ice cream on top. I felt decadent and ordered a specialty brownie sundae, with lots of hot fudge, ice cream, and covered with crumpled Reese's peanut butter cups. Both were delicious and filling. When we were ready to leave, Chelsea settled our tab quickly. The prices were more than reasonable for the quality and quantity we received. Service was impeccable, with Chelsea able to read our need to relax and enjoy the night out, and when we needed attention: no hovering, no check to see if we needed anything every five minutes, and always there when we needed her. I wish this chain would expand into Connecticut. It was a very pleasant experience, and I would love to experience it locally. read more

So 110 grill is good. You have a big menu and lots to choose from. All the food came out good and even though the steak was not cooked right they did fix it and in the end took it off the bill completely. The staff are also nice but on our particular day the waitress was no one to be found a few times. That was really the only flaw of the visit. The space is open and airy but the decor is very vanilla so even with the big bar to the left and the chefs area overlooking the high booths it does feel a bit boring because of the muted decor. Add flowers, plants, etc. Make it feel more exciting to come to and create an experience. read more

I had to see what the buzz was all about and stopped in on a Friday evening without a reservation (expect a 45 minute wait..). Luckily we were able to find a seat at the bar and service was great! Friendly, quick, and attentive. We were starving and wanted an app but there were not too many that weren't cheesy/dippy or not fried. There was fried shrimp, fried pickles, fried wings, fried tots, fried calamari.....We settled one of the few non fried no dippy starters: Yellowfin Tuna served rare with asian slaw, sweet teriyaki and a sriracha aioli drizzle. It was very tasty and a huge portion. I had a a salmon burger- yum! It was a cajun-seared salmon burger, served on a brioche bun with slaw and sriracha aioli. It came with some very delicious and crispy French fries- really good fries! Burger was tasty and filling. It hit the spot. I also tried a bite of the Beef Stroganof which was pan-seared beef tenderloin with a mushroom, caramelized onions. It was good and tasty enough but I don't think I'd order it. It wasn't my thing. The beef was like steak tips not necessarily what I expected. Overall everything was tasty and I'll be back to try more of the diverse menu! 3.5 stars. read more

First the positives. Kudos to the owners and designers of the 110 Grill as they have harnessed the power of the cosmos and physics which I didn't expect from a restaurant group, but they did it. As you walk through the front door of this "brand new" restaurant, you are magically teleported back to 1986. It's amazing, but they figured out time travel and built it into a restaurant. Formica bar top, rugs in the dining room, dated entree choices and no effort given to food prep. I think to complete the look of 1986, they are installing a tube tv in the bar next week. Since it's new and they have 1600 locations, we thought we would try it to see if it was decent. Good crowd for a Friday but guessing this is because it just opened. Sat down at the bar and ordered a couple drinks. Vodka soda was good, but if you mess that up you should never handle a bottle again. Old fashioned was not good. Sweet and just off. So they are batting .500 at this point. The the strike outs begin. Like Pedro in his prime. Dropping curve balls on the corner of the plate. Take a look at the menu...totally underwhelming. $26 for steak tips? Come on. If you are charging close to $30 for steak tips, at least give me a granite bar to put my plate on. "Here sir...enjoy your overpriced beef on our plastic bar." No thanks. Or how about the short rib flatbread? Sounds decent until you read it's covered in truffle oil. Can we all agree that truffle oil is just awful and overused at this point? There are no truffles, just crappy flavored oil. No thank you again...next. We decide we should at least try something, so the app that might be intriguing was the crab rangoon dip. Cheese, crab and cream. How bad could it be? Well it wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either. Solid 2 stars. It would have been far better if the kitchen staff took the time to put the bread over a warm flame and toast it a little as opposed to opening the package and slapping it on the plate. A little effort goes a long way and they didn't try at all. $35 for a cheese dip ($14) with room temperature bread and cold potato chips, and 2 drinks. Totally overpriced and not worth that at all. I can get the same at the 99 and at least it comes with free popcorn, and when I walk in there I know ahead of time I am going back to 1986. read more

We were out in Boston for a tour and stayed at Red Roof Inn Plus. We were looking for a place to eat dinner and stumbled upon 110 Grill! All of the other restaurants which are across the street from where were staying had poor 2 star reviews. 110 Grill was a bit of a walk away (we had to walk across the bridge!) but well worth it. I enjoyed the atmosphere, we sat outside since it was a beautiful night! Dawn, our waitress was nice and patient as we decided what we wanted to order. The menu is quite large! As a yelper, I looked at the pictures online to help me pick out what I wanted. We started with the crab rangoon dip. For drinks I had the blue colada and my fiancé had to peach Arnold Palmer - both tasty drinks. I had the kale salad as a meal and my fiancé had the Cajun salmon burger with onion strings. So we stopped here for Early Sunday dinner on the way back from New Hampshire. We been wanting to try the one closer to our house but heard this location was a lot better. Our waitress (her name I forgot but know it starts with a S) was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the New York strip with mash potatoes and Asian noodles and it's was great except the cold hard unflavored noodles. We also order a kids meal for our daughter which was butter and Parmesan noodles with fries and mixed berries for dessert. I got the cure burger with onion strings (which are my favorite) but they was a hair untwine in the onion rings which is so gross. But our waitress mad them make a new batch which came out pipping hot from the manger that didn't even apologize which was weird but our waitress couldn't stop apologizing. read more

It has the most extensive gluten free menu I have seen, and the gluten free friends with me were absolutely giddy about it. I have been several times and have had a different menu item each time. All are wonderful. Recommend the Cuban swordfish and the beef stroganoff. Shout out to waitress Dawn who treated us like gold. Thank you Okay, so we go to 110 Grill many times. But tonight was exceptional! A wonderful margarita, the Cuban swordfish (a personal fave) and she had kale and Brussels sprouts salad with seared tuna;both were exceptional, great summer dishes when eating outdoors on a nice patio. But the standout was our waitress, Kayla. She was assigned to four tables that were all seated within 15 minutes and had the longest possible walk to the kitchen. She didn't stop for a second, yet delivered service that was exemplary. Everything on time, hot or cold as the case may be, and with a great big smile. She was the best, and we have always had good service at 110. We have plenty of reasons to come back, and trust me, we will! read more

We don't order or eat here anymore. Food is never consistent and for the prices for noodles + 3 strips of chicken I can make it myself better. Woburn & Saugus locations are bad but Saugus got our order wrong while there and telling them about a dairy allergy still brought us the wrong food completely that was meant for another table and then brought us food with cheese. Ordered out 2 more times from both and every time was awful. Flat bread pizza came like a mess and we went in to pick up so it didn't get messed up looking and missing caramelized onions so basically sauce on bread. For the outrageous prices cook at home. We called and the manager gave us not one for the first time when they brought the wrong order because they forgot to put ours in but 3x because the awful food take out. My bf picked it up while I drove but I would have looked first as you always should if you have ever had a problem anywhere or just to make sure your order is right and we got stuck with it and told the manager we didn't want anymore "discounts on food that kept coming out wrong" 1st time there years ago in Woburn was good but both places have gone downhill and then Saugus location , don't even bother going to sit down/ takeout it won't ever be right read more

Knowing this is new, I wanted to like it, but it took us two hours to get through dinner, starting at 5.10 pm on a Sunday. Our three kids are over age five, thank goodness, or there would have been many meltdowns. We got one 'sorry the kitchen is behind' from our waitress, who was decent but we didn't see her often, and no acknowledgement of the delays. We have both worked in the industry and forgive a lot, as long as someone let's us know what Is going on. The food was fine, kids menu good, healthy options and good value. Excellent service. Delicious food. We had: onion soup-super tasty. Beat salad with salmon-perfectly seasoned salmon, fresh salad ingredients. Pulled pork sandwich with masked potatoes on the side-both excellent Kid's meal -sliders with sweet potato fries. Kids have food allergies. Servers were conscious of allergies and informed us of concerns so we could decide-for example bun on pulled pork is baked at an off site bakery/they cannot assure no cross contamination. We've always loved the food here. Yesterday we sat outside on the patio and had salads and tatchos. The portion of chicken on the salad was disappointing for $8. We were sitting at a table under an open umbrella. A gust of wind came, lifted the umbrella and crashed it on the table. The table was made of flimsy trex material and was too lightweight to hold the umbrella, and the umbrella wasn't anchored or weighted. It missed my head by inches. I screamed, and diners nearby helped to fix the umbrella. When the waitress came out, we told her what happened, and she calmly replaced the spilled water. The manager came out, and seemed very concerned, comped my drink, and went around and checked the base of all of the umbrellas. After a few minutes, while we were alone on the patio, the umbrella at the table next to us did the same thing. The umbrella had been over one of 2 tables pushed together, and the umbrella knocked both tables down and moved all of the chairs. If the umbrella had fallen in the opposite direction, it might have hit us. I ran into the restaurant to find the manager. I found the waitress, and said that the umbrella at another table had done the same thing. She finished what she was doing. Meanwhile I went back outside. She and another waitress came out and fixed the umbrella. Our waitress casually said that this happens all summer long. If you go, avoid the patio, even if your table doesn't have an umbrella. Food was subpar. Went to the RT 1 Saugus location. Appetizer took over 30mins to come out because they apparently burnt the first one according to the waitress. We ordered bbq chicken flatbread and it wasn't worth the wait. I ordered steak for my entree and requested medium well. The steak came well over done. Had to return it and get a new one made. By the time I got my steak everyone was done eating and ready to go. Had to pack my steak to go. Manager did apologized and comp the steak but definitely won't be back. read more

making reservation is useless, with it we waited over 20 minutes to be seated with minimal number of customers on location. the clam chowder tasted can. the lobster roll was bottom filled with mesclun, it had something like lobster shredded, a minimal amount on top of the roll, no chunks here! and tasted refrigerated and not fresh, at $24 definitely not worth. another dish we tried, was the fried chicken, the piece was about 3 ounces of meat, the salad filled 3/4 of the dish. one if the drinks, margarita was to citrus was unpleasant. the found the atmosphere noise and overly priced. not going back for sure. read more
