    Ahi carpaccio

The food was excellent. Had suomono soup, nigiri sushi, and ahi carpaccio. Would get all again. Kind of sterile/modern ambience. Around 6 PM a chill and talented solo guitarist started playing a nice mix or rock/island style tunes. Those are all the positives. Some surprises were no alcohol ( might be able to BYO, but did not ask) An 18% gratuity is added to all bill and the service this evening did not reflect that. Maybe all the staff are new, but seemed like the waiter did not know the menu, had a mixed up order, and every interaction with the staff was awkward. That said, I will likely give them a month or two to sort things out, see if I can bring my own beverages, and try this place again. As I already noted, the food is good.

Dined at 1111nikkei Wailea Last night. Enjoyed a great new spot with delicious Peruvian inspired ceviche, and interestingly tasty and unique sushi rolls! Mahalo to Martin Monteverde for a delightful experience, this service and the staff were great. The chefs know how to properly make a roll! Indoor and outdoor dining, clean airy and large. Sushi bar and drink bar. No liquor so BYOB

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Started off with a complimentary cocktail. Our server was good and the food came out fast. I got to watch football, have a free drink, and eat sushi.

Had a great birthday lunch with a friend here. Great concept and beautiful presentation out of the current setup, which is a food truck + patio with umbrellas. The indoor dining space is still under construction. Fish was excellent quality and delicious!

We went to 1111 Nikkei for lunch. Sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly. The bar stools not so comfortable. The place is new and really clean. The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful and it tasted super fresh. Where they lost a star is for the price, it all is way overpriced in my opinion and to top it off, they add 18% gratuity on your bill which I didn't see written on their menu, and almost ended up double tipping until my friend pointed it out, maybe I missed it, but it came as a surprise.

Came for a lunch to get away from the resort food and it was so good!! Comfortable and hip interior with a great wait staff. Everything we had was very good and very fresh. Pricing was really reasonable for the area and we would definitely come again. Thanks!!

Just opened and we happened to be in the area. A great pick if you love Japanese food infused with some Peruvian surprises! (Like a little bit of heat/spice). Great ambiance

Food is always amazing, live music on weekends but I hear they'll be doing luve music during some nights during the week. Sushi is always delicious, refreshing, and amazing! The mocktails are colorful and refreshing, too! Love the smiling faces and welcoming staff!

The service was impeccable, every single team member was so friendly. A little hint for management - send Brianna to Japan on a sushi educational experience, she deserves it. Another hint for management - change the dish on the Chicken Tsukune, it is to flat and the sauce goes all over the place, deeper spot for the egg would be better also (you're welcome Mike). All the food was amazing - we did a flight of tuna (so yummy). Our favorite was the Salmon Trout dish was our favorite. Chef made the noodles for me (off menu)- thank you chef. The Yasai Salad Maki was a refreshing bite. Snow crab roll - so good. We finished it of with the dessert jewel box- very cool. They even made us a chocolate treat because it was our honeymoon. A++++++++ definitely coming here again. Yelpers - you should flock to this place.

Every time I'm in Maui, this is a MUST. We did the omakase experience for my birthday dinner and it was incredible. 100% worth the price. Every piece of fish was so fresh and literally melted in your mouth. Even the cooked dishes like the miso black cod and A5 Wagyu were amazing. We sat at the sushi bar this time and loved it! The sushi chef was so sweet, the waiters hv the best personalities, and the food comes out surprisingly fast. If it's your first time, get a Mai Tai! All of the nigiri is incredible, but my favorites are the otoro, hamachi with chili oil, and salmon. SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT. The matcha panna cotta is sooo good and 'not too sweet' lol, which is probably the best compliment an Asian person can give a dessert The ube dessert is amazing too. We have a pretty good feel for what's out there, and this place truly stands out. From the moment we walked in, Dwayne made us feel like family. His hospitality was genuine, attentive, and really elevated the entire experience. The food was incredible. Every dish was fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. As crazy as it may sound, I honestly think the sushi here is better than Nobu. That's a bold statement, but this place earned it. And the chicken wings... wow. I don't know what they're do back there, but they are absolutely addictive. I could legitimately eat four dozen of them. Crispy, flavorful, and some of the best wings I've ever had--at a sushi restaurant, no less. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and exactly what you hope to find while on vacation. We only wish we had a restaurant like this back home in Las Vegas. This has officially become a must-visit every time we're in Maui. We can't wait to come back on our next vacation.
