I don't know exactly why I've been putting off writing this review, but it's probably because I have so much to say and I truly want to do it justice. 14 Prime is an **experience** I don't think there's really many other places in Jacksonville like it, and it's truly become one of my favorites -- whether it's for a celebration, to catch up with friends or a fancy date night. Make the reservation. Get the email requesting details about your night (business/celebration/etc) and watch them go above and beyond. For my parents' BIG wedding anniversary, there was a beautiful card and special flowers in a vase they got to take home. We celebrated with our welcome bubbles at the door and absolutely feasted all night. Another time, we came with friends who were newly married. I sent the high level overview of our reason for visiting -- boom. A hula girl figurine and again, specialty flowers, with the personalized card. They have done the same for all of our anniversaries as well and it's such a nice touch. Service is stellar. We have had a handful of different staff and all have been excellent. Very friendly, know their stuff, happy to help, all of it. You can also work with the sommelier if you are looking for assistance with wine/pairings. I usually go for a cocktail or two because they are just so unique and delicious, My favorite is the First Class Traveler. Just trust me. The space itself if gorgeous. Very classy. Not too stuffy. Dark and moody but not so much that you can't see what's going on (I can't stand that). Love the bar and the back room with the extra chef's kitchen is cool. Next time, we are doing the Chef's Table! The food is beautiful. I love all of the fresh pasta and just wish I didn't have a shellfish allergy so I could eat them all. The tableside mozzarella is a MUST -- so incredible and so fun to order. The bone marrow blew us away and was literally melt in your mouth. You pretty much can't go wrong with anything you order. Steaks are some of the best and my favorite part is the side of melty, gooey roasted garlic that comes with it. A repeat favorite for good reason. We've been several times now, and the service is consistently excellent -- and I mean that genuinely. Attentive, polished, and it doesn't matter where you're seated. We once ended up spontaneously at the bar, and based on other reviews I half-expected a drop in quality -- not at all. The same premium service, no exceptions. The food is outstanding. High quality ingredients, beautiful flavors across every dish, and the tomato mozzarella is an absolute standout -- truly superb. They also handled a vegetarian guest in our group with ease and real accommodation, which says a lot about how a kitchen thinks about its guests. The complimentary Prosecco on arrival is a lovely touch, even if standing in the entrance waiting for it feels a little awkward in practice -- a small tweak that could make a warm gesture feel even more seamless. The one thing holding this place back from a perfect score is the acoustics. The atmosphere is nice, but it gets loud, and the noise level works against the vibe the restaurant is clearly going for. Some sound absorption elements would go a long way -- this place deserves to feel as good as it tastes. Still one of the best in the area. Highly recommend. read more

I came back for a work event and had a five star experience so I'm updating my review! Now some of this could be because I knew exactly what to order. Here are the dishes that made my experience five stars: -Espresso martini - it comes with a scratch off lottery ticket, I didn't win but it was still fun! -Chargrilled pork belly and octopus -Cowboy ribeye, this might be the best thing on the whole menu -Toffee sundae, sinfully delicious If you follow this list and order these things you too will have a five star meal! Also they updated their lobster mac and cheese to a new recipe and it is an impressive improvement! So creamy and cheesy but I could still taste the lobster. From the stellar service from Ed, to the excellently innovative menu, onto the great wine selection, and all of random and delicious extra "happies" that make their way out of the kitchen before the meal and to go-- I am smitten. Stopped by for a girl date (first visit) and had a ball, the music selection, vibes, and aesthetic-- all top tier! The warm, bread service gets an honorable mention for sure. We were eating light-ish, tried as much as we possibly could, and absolutely loved it all. The ravioli, salmon tartare, pot pie, crab rice, raspberry garden dessert, matcha and muffin to go... no complaints whatsoever. A real winner here. From the emails leading up to our reservation to ask for our preferences, allergies, food restrictions and our cocktail orders to the service once we got there was all exceptional! The only caveat we had with the service is that they mentioned complimentary valet parking but the valet made us wait and park our own car which did throw us off a bit especially when the emails and texts all boasted about the valet parking. The food was all really delicious. The menu was creative and each dish had its own flare. Our favorites were the crab fried rice, the spaghetti dish we got, scallops and the Denver wagyu! Stopped by 14 Prime for drinks and immediately knew we'd be back. Lydia at the bar was amazing super welcoming and on point from the start (plus a complimentary glass of champagne didn't hurt). Sat at the bar, ordered a few apps, and everything hit. The caviar potato and steak crostini were standouts, but the pork belly and octopus were just as good. I really liked the gigantic table side cinnamon roll, and the wild mushrooms inside my omelet were so tasty I wish I had just a bowl of them. Otherwise I was a little disappointed because I had heard of so many "over the top" special touches from others who had dined here (I.e. champagne when you walk in, a personalized note, complimentary to go coffee & muffins, etc etc), but we did not receive anything like that at brunch and yes we had made our reservation way in advance. I've dined at many excellent restaurants over the years, but I couldn't resist writing my very first review after our incredible experience. We celebrated our 14th anniversary at 14 Prime, and the entire evening was top-notch. Our server, Kristan, was outstanding and paid such careful attention to every detail. Came to 14 Prime for a birthday and was greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne to start the celebration. This restaurant is certainly one of the nicest ambiance-wise in town. Tables of 2 are seated only at the bar, which we found to still be enjoyable with great service. We ordered the salmon crudo and tableside mozz for apps. Both were great, but the mozz is an absolute must. For our entrees, we got the ribeye and the lamb....both were excellent and cooked exactly to our specifications. I am not normally a carrot cake guy, but man was it good!! All of the drinks are unique and fantastic as well, I got a drink called Cloud 9, which came with a side of cheese for pairing! If all of this wasn't enough, they send you home with cold brew lattes and muffins for the next morning as part of a thank you for joining them for dinner. I took my friends' to dinner for their birthdays here. I booked a reservation on Resy and first impression was good but then it wasn't. They reached out via text introducing themselves and asking how they could better accommodate our visit by asking are we celebrating any occasions, if we had any diet restrictions or allergies, etc etc. Further down the text, they went over their dress code and restaurant policy including no outside food whatsoever including CAKE! I thought this was absurd but I replied with "if you guys don't allow me to bring cake for my friends' birthday do you offer complementary desserts for the birthday girls?" Their responds blew me away and not in a good way. They said they could put a candle on a dessert if we purchase it! I've never had a restaurant restrict me from bringing cake, let alone tell me they can put a measly $1 candle on a dessert. For the price of their menu items and the outstanding and impeccable service they supposedly offer, they sure as hell fell short in their introduction. Of course a manager reached out after I said 'some things' via text but I didn't reply. We decided to still show up and see what the rave was about. Order: 1/2 dozen raw oysters, roasted bone marrow, hash brown & caviar, saffron Campanelle, wild king salmon, creamed Swiss Chard & Spinach, and free range half chicken. Oysters were the only thing that was amazing. I'm sure the steak would have been really good too but no one ordered steak (sadly bc they're a steak house). Everything else was SALTY. Hash brown and caviar was nothing but two French-toast-sized potato wedges topped with fancy fish eggs and tagged as $23. The campanelle is pasta with Maine lobster in a bolognese sauce. Didn't have any bold flavors, it was a simple tomato/red sauce. The bone morrow was topped with sautéed rhubarb and horseradish. I've had plenty of bone morrow but this was not the best. The rhubarb and radish they had on top was super salty and greasy. The grease from that melted on top of the morrow and completely destroyed the creamy and custard texture of the morrow. The salmon was served with lentils and pickled onions. The salmon too was salty but the pickled onions were really good and helped cut through some of that saltiness. The spinach side tasted like frozen spinach topped with cheese. And lastly the chicken. Again too salty but it was cooked nicely. Meat was tender and super juicy. Overall the food service did not meet my expectation, sadly because on their website 14 Prime was supposed to bring Jax a bold innovative refined and elegant dining experience. The decor within was breathtaking the pillows were so cute for the ladies. The menu had options for everyone; the steak and seafood was fantastic to say the least. The king crab, king salmon, 16oz prime ribeye, did I mention the bread and butter??? The creamed spinach and crab fried rice I highly recommend. I didn't need salt and pepper on any dish except the spinach but paired with everything else I didn't have to request any. My server was attentive. The details were not missed from the time we scheduled to the time we woke up the next morning!! So my husband booked 14 Prime for my birthday and they asked a series of questions about me and what we were celebrating, all my favorites. So when I arrived I had so gorgeous flowers that had my favorite colors in them and a little gift with m name on it. This was the first restaurant that had put so much thought into celebrating me. Very thoughtful. There was also a champagne toast when we checked in! Now the staff greeted us with warm welcome, we sat at the chef's table which was really neat to see all the kitchen come together and make amazing dishes. Finally made it to 14 Prime and first tip, make a reservation early. We made ours about a month out and looked again the next week and was completely booked. We arrived on a Saturday night and once you walk through the door the amazing service starts. They start you off with welcome Champagne/Sparking Wine and what a great way to start off the night. Once taken to our table to will say it was beautiful inside and they had even provided a birthday card for me at the table. We of course had to start of with drinks and appetizers. I went with the Big Buck Hunter which is Knob Creek, Averna, Angostura Amaro, Crème De Cacao, Salt Paired With a Morsel of Venison Sausage. I was really good and rich but still had that punch I want from bourbon. I also loved that all their drinks come with a snack and I really did enjoy the Venison Sausage. They are started us with a nice sample to try. Now for apps we got a few... The Chargrilled Pork Belly& Octopus - This was for sure the underdog of the apps. Probably the best Pork Belly I have ever had. We aren't even fans of Octopus but were amazing how good this is. For sure a must. Hash Brown & Caviar - This was good but this was really more of an experiment for Ashley and I since we had never had Caviar. Was a good yes, but it isn't one we would get next time. Roasted Bone Marrow - I haven't had Bone Marrow or Oxtail in awhile so I enjoyed this. I will say it's great for sharing with the Hash Brown and Caviar is really better if there are only 2 of you. Taleggio Raviolini - This was also a home run! For sure some of the best Raviolini I have had and is also great to share. Doesn't hurt that was love fresh pasta too. Only issue for us though is we did add the Burgundy Black Truffle for $28 which I didn't think was worth it. For sure enjoyed it more without the Truffle. Now for the main event. I of course was going to get a steak and was eyeing the Ribeye but Anthony mentioned getting the Booth Creek Waygu Cowboy - Bone-In Ribeye for Two for himself and I noticed that's 46oz so I jumped in on that with him and I'm so glad I did. This was the best steak I have ever had, juicy, full of flavor, and so tender and of course cooked to a perfect medium rare. If you are getting a steak from 14 Prime this is the move and honestly this also might be the best bag for your buck the menu. Priced at $205 if you split it it's just over $100 each. Now we did add on the King Crab for $65 which was not the move. Was it good yes for sure but you just don't really get a lot of it. Really the add on stuff were the only real misses for me. We of course had some sides that being the Creamed Swiss Chard & Spinach, Au Gratin Potatoes & Gruyère (which was our least favorite of the sides), and Maine Lobster Mac & Cheese which was my favorite. Large noodles, with plenty of rich creamy cheese and a good amount of lobster. For sure the go to side for me. Now after all this food how could we possibly have room for dessert? Well we didn't but that didn't stop us. We got the Toffee Sundae which was absolutely amazing and tasted even better after eating all our salty steaks and sides. I wouldn't come regularly but for a special occasion I will certainly go again. Service: We had two servers but there were several staff checking in and working together to make sure we had everything we needed. From water/cocktails to cashmere blankets for those that were cold. They were all efficient and welcoming. Not to mention the complimentary Prosecco upon checking in. Food: Amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious. In addition to the food pictured, we tried the filet, the table side mozzarella, wild mushrooms and the table bread. Everything was just so good. Experience: we went for my bestie's 40th birthday and book launch celebration. The restaurant gave to her a card along with flowers and a silver bracelet with 4 silver rings to represent each decade. Card was very personalized with the image of her book cover and a sweet message. Many restaurant managers/Head of HR and other staff checked on us regularly and made us feel welcomed. On the far side of IKEA in Tigertown, there's a place called 14 Prime. It doesn't look like much at first--just another restaurant tucked into a busy stretch of town--but when you walk in, you feel the difference. The light, soft and natural, settles over tables as if it were invited. The glow from the lamps comes next, wrapping the room in a kind of quiet elegance. Even the cars outside seem calmer, knowing there's valet if you need it. We began with a cinnamon roll. Not just a cinnamon roll--the cinnamon roll. Large enough for six, though there were only two of us, which meant plenty to take home. They brought it tableside, warm and fragrant, spiced with nutmeg and clove, with chai and cinnamon whispering from the folds of its brioche dough. The outside was crisp, the inside soft and chewy, and when the buttercream frosting touched it, it became something more than bread. It became memory. I ordered the mushroom and goat cheese omelet. It came with spring greens, simply dressed, and it reminded me that food doesn't always have to be complicated to be good. The omelet was light, airy, with the sharp tang of goat cheese softened by earthy mushrooms. Each bite lingered, like a story you don't want to end. The bill was $122. But what we left with was more than food--it was the feeling that, even on their second day of service, this place already knew what it was meant to be. The fresh-squeezed OJ was great. There were so many options that sounded delicious so we will be back for brunch. We decided to visit for a special occasion. We were able to find parking very easy but there is a valet parking option for convenience. We were greeted and promptly seated after being given a complimentary glass of Prosecco. All the staff we interacted with greeted us and made us feel welcome. The restaurant looked upscale with stone table tops and a high end bar. I was pleasantly surprised with a chocolate and welcome note celebrating the occasion for our dinner. The bread service was great. Carb lovers rejoice ! We were given 2 types of bread, a cheese popover and poppy rolls with honey butter. The amuse bouche was a pleasant addition with cucumber and a delicious concoction of hummus and other tasty ingredients for a delicious bite. We sampled the non alcoholic drinks and all were well made, delicious and imaginative. We tried the caviar and hash, escargot pot pie and shrimp appetizer. They were all fantastic. We went in to share the seafood platter with raw oysters as well as oysters Rockefeller, crab cakes, lobster rolls, salmon tartare and shrimp. It was large and we had to take home to enjoy later so we could get to dessert. We were so full so we shared the Chocolare mousse delight. If you love chocolate, this will hit the spot! All I can say is Wow! We loved everything about our experience. It was us and another couple celebrating my husband's birthday. They contacted me ahead of time and asked questions about his likes/dislikes, favorite sports team, etc. When we arrived, there were flowers on the table that were blue/white for our favorite team and a personalized card wishing him a happy birthday. We started with the champagne toast at the door, and then went through the entire multi-course meal. It was an awesome experience but not something we would do frequently because of the $$$. I'm not one who loves tomatoes but the yellow tomatoes they had to make the caprese were phenomenal. I couldn't stop eating them. We also had the French onion tortellini and the paccheri and shared amongst the table. Both were very flavorful. I personally enjoyed the tortellini more but our group as a whole loved both. For main courses, we had the ribeye for 2 and the flat iron steak. Our waiter talked 2 of us into the flat iron saying it was a very nice steak similar to a filet. Our friends added the lobster tail to the ribeye and really enjoyed that. For sides we shared augratin potatoes and broccoli. We all much preferred the potatoes (because who doesn't?). Finished our night with a couple desserts: S'more please & key lime pie. The S'mores dish was amazing!! Drink wise- we tried quite a few different cocktails. Martinis, old fashioneds, beer, spritzers, etc. but the absolute best drink I had was the South of the Border. I still can't stop thinking about it and would go back just for that. Went to it their new brunch service. Took us a minute to find the entrance. We first walked in to sidecar. The interior is very pretty. Not a huge space but certainly big enough. There is a private ding room- told it can accommodate up to ten diners. There is Aldo's a chef's experience in the back with some additional seating. I had the prawns and grits hubby had the burger. The highlight for me was the potatoes that came with the burger. The texture was like they were whipped and then formed into cubes and fried. Very tasty. 14 Prime rolled out its new brunch service this weekend, so naturally, we went to see if it lived up to its reputation. Before arriving, one menu item caught my eye, something boldly labeled the "14K Cinnamon Roll," served tableside. Curiosity got the better of me. It arrived with ceremony, pushed to our table by the ever-charming Rachael, who narrated the process as she hand-frosted it with cream cheese icing. The first thing you notice is its sheer size. This is not a cinnamon roll, it is a cinnamon boulder, baked in what looks like a 14-inch pie pan, easily feeding six to eight people. It's chai-spiced, fragrant with cloves, nutmeg, allspice, and a hint of ginger, finished with a flourish of freshly grated cinnamon right before your eyes. The edges were caramelized and crisp, giving way to a soft, slightly doughy center. As someone on a bit of an iced chai latte kick, I caught the chai notes instantly, the cloves standing out the most. Each bite shifted slightly in spice and sweetness, keeping it interesting all the way through. Then came the entrees. I ordered the King Crab Omelette, my wife the Wild Mushroom and Goat Cheese Omelette, each served with a lightly dressed spring mix salad. The King Crab version was unapologetically decadent, packed with Meyer lemon mascarpone, fresh herbs, and so much butter Julia Child herself might have paused mid-sentence. Rich doesn't begin to describe it. Thankfully, the side salad's acidity offered a much-needed break between bites. The wild mushroom and goat cheese omelette was equally indulgent, a perfect balance of earthy umami and tangy creaminess. Both omelettes were large enough to split and still have breakfast leftovers for the next day. Brunch at 14 Prime is not for the faint of wallet. Like dinner, it's priced for special occasions, business expense accounts, or anyone eager to impress friends and family in a strikingly beautiful dining room. It was a fun experience, but omelettes are inherently simple, and paying double for one makes it hard to put 14 Prime into my regular brunch rotation. From start to finish, this was an unforgettable dining experience! The atmosphere was upscale yet inviting, and the service was flawless. The lobster on the homemade pasta was absolutely divine--perfectly cooked, rich, and so fresh it melted in every bite. The cocktails were hands-down the best I've ever had, bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced. And the appetizers? Truly to die for--every single one was creative, beautifully presented, and beyond delicious. They even gave us flowers to take home. This was my 14 Prime debut. Spoiler Alert - I was thoroughly impressed from the moment I entered until I finally left the restaurant. Parking was easy. We used the valet service, they were quick and courteous. Upon entering the dining room, the hostess greeted us, acknowledged our special occasion and offered complimentary prosecco as our table was being prepared. The setting is dark and intimate in the main dining area. Not quiet but very upscale and elegant. Don't come under dressed, you will immediately feel out of place. We were seated in the best seats in the house...The Kitchen! Our server Adrian was absolutely amazing. He took care of our every need and even made sure we took home a beautiful memento to remember the occasion. This guy deserves a promotion or raise at the very least, the level of service he provided will keep guests coming back time after time. Now to the food. We started off with their bread basket and a complimentary steak crostini from the chef, which was phenomenal. Their drink menu was expansive...A variety of cocktails, a few mocktails, wine out the wazoo, Louis XIII, and even a whiskey selection. We ended up getting champagne and a bump, a martini, and an "old new friend" cocktail. I had king salmon tartare, taleggio ravioli, and a wagyu flat iron 10oz. My wife had Argentinian red shrimp, crab fried rice, asparagus oscar, and a filet mignon 8oz. Everything we had tasted amazing. I literally don't have one bad thing to say about any of the food. They even gave my wife fresh flowers for our celebration. PS. The kitchen seating is a must. The view was incredible. I was here about a month and a half ago and felt compelled to come back -- the food really is top-notch. It's a great spot for a relaxed Sunday brunch after church. Yes, it's still on the pricey side, but in my opinion it's worth it for the quality, presentation, and atmosphere. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it easy to sit, talk, and enjoy the experience. The pancakes were very good, the shrimp and grits were outstanding, but the clear winner of brunch was the French toast. Absolutely incredible -- rich, flavorful, and perfectly done. The ice cream on top takes it to another level and makes it feel like a true treat rather than just breakfast. Unfortunately, our waiter this time around wasn't very friendly and seemed a bit grumpy. We had to wave him down two or three times just to place our order and get assistance. That level of service wasn't quite what I've come to expect from this restaurant. We had a 6:00 PM reservation and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. When we were finally called, we were seated at the bar. I had read on social media that parties of two are often placed there, so I wasn't completely surprised--but I wasn't prepared for how uncomfortable it would be. The seats were hard, the space was cramped, and overall it didn't make for a relaxing start to the evening. The restaurant was definitely busy, which is great to see, but the music was so loud that I could barely hear my husband, even though he was sitting right next to me. I had heard this place was aiming for Michelin status, but with rap music blasting, the vibe felt more like a nightclub than a fine dining experience. It completely threw me off, and honestly, I was turned off from the start. That said, once we were seated, the service was outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of. The chef even sent out a complimentary tostada sample, which was delicious. For starters, I had the French onion soup and my husband had the tuna carpaccio--both excellent, and his portion was so generous he couldn't finish it. We also enjoyed the bread service. For our second course, I had the taleggio rigatoni and he had the saffron cappinelli; both were flavorful and perfectly prepared. Unfortunately, the steak was the biggest letdown of the night. While it was a nice cut, it just didn't deliver on flavor or quality at the level I expected. Since we were celebrating, we considered dessert, but ultimately decided to go elsewhere. When we left, they boxed up our leftovers and even included some surprise goodies in the bag, which was a nice touch--but it doesn't make up for the rest of the experience. Overall: the food (other than the steak) and the service were excellent, but the uncomfortable seating, overly loud music, and nightclub-like vibe made it hard to enjoy. Brunch was super yummy with excellence service and all the jazz! We started with the table side cinnamon roll! Enough for 4 people, hot, light but sweet, and overall delicious! I was hoping for eggs Benedict of some kind but it was no longer in the menu so I went with the 14 prime burger. Large, juicy, and full of flavor with truffle on top! Highly recommend a visit for a special treat! However when I come back it'll be for dinner as my experience for that was 10 stars! read more

We made reservations by calling. Bella was super nice was able to accommodate a reservation for three for my birthday. We arrived checked in for our reservations at a very small weight offered us Prosecco while we waited. The host staff was kind enough to take a picture for us. We were seated. our waiter was Adrian he was on point. Adrian provided a specials nature. We had no dietary issues. Very friendly. Food was amazing at the end of dinner because it was my birthday. I had a card flowers and chocolate bar. We'll definitely come back. I forgot to take a picture of my dinner. We had the T-bone to share with mashed potatoes, grilled seasonal vegetables, and the Mac and cheese all very delicious. The ambience in the room was stunning. While we waited for our table, we were greeted with prosecco. Shortly after, we were seated. Our server Izzy was very attentive and knew every answer to anything we had questions about. We were given a bread basket full of fresh bread and honey butter. Even after sitting for a little while, the bread remained warm. We enjoyed a couple different beers and sweet tea to drink. After we ordered our appetizer and entrees, we were given a little sample of an asparagus and blue cheese dish. The flavors blended so well together, we ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture. We ordered the Hashbrown Caviar for the table, and the Ribeye and Salmon for our entrees, finishing with the Al Gratin Potatoes for our side. Everything was cooked to perfection. The Ribeye was juicy and tender and the Salmon was buttery soft. The Al Gratin Potatoes were creamy and delicious. After our meal we were given breakfast items to take home. We were also able to take home the fresh flowers on our table. Needless to say, 14 Prime isn't just going out for a fancy dinner, it's an experience you'll never forget. read more

What a magical birthday experience!! When you walk in the door, they hand you a glass of champagne and take you to your table. We were lucky to get a big, spacious booth in the room with the chef's table. It was brighter, and less loud than the main room. I was impressed. There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the table and a card signed by the marketing director. Thomas was such a fun server, and all of the staff we interacted with were professional, but engaging and kind. He poured us water while we waited for my last guest to arrive. When she got there, we ordered cocktails. I got the seasonal gin and tonic and it was one of the best drinks I've ever had. It had a tonic and an olive oil lemonade outsourced from Spain! This restaurant is so unique because they have so many things that you can't get or experience anywhere else in Jax. Soon after, the bread service came out. Again, I think it may be the best bread service I've ever experienced, and I've had my fair share of bread. The pop overs were crisp, but fluffy at the same time, and the butter was incredible. We started with the hand pulled mozzarella for the table, and it was delicious but also just a fun experience! We finally ordered our mains after that came out. I ordered the escargot pot pie, the mushroom ravioli dish( don't remember the exact name) and the scallops. I knew I was probably not going to be able to come back for a while, so I wanted to try it all! My sister got the oxtail bone marrow, and it was incredible too!! Every bite of every dish was delectable. The escargot was perfect, the pasta cooked just right. The scallops.. best I've ever had. I could go on and on about this place. We ended the evening sharing the toffee dessert, which they took care of for my birthday! They sent us all home with an oat milk latte and a house made muffin for breakfast the next day! I've seen so many mixed reviews that I was starting to second guess our reservation. 14 Prime was so much better than we could've imagined! We started with the house made bread, Caesar Salad and Chargrilled Pork Belly & Octopus. The bread was delicious. The pork belly was done to perfection. For the second course we split the Taleggio Raviolini. We've had our fair share of Michelin Star Italian dishes and this one was right up there. Phenomenal. For our main I had the Diver Sea Scallops and my husband had the Ribeye with a side of Au Gratin Potatoes & Gruyère. The scallops were the best scallops I've ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. We would also get those potatoes again! We wanted to try a couple of different desserts but we were so uncomfortably full so we only got the S'more Please. 10/10 like every other dish we experienced. The restaurant itself was clean and nicely designed. I do want to call out that the two of us were sat at a table and I can't say for certain that we would've had a 5 star experience at the bar - not sure. First time here and it was actually for brunch! I've never been to a chophouse restaurant that offered brunch?! Usually it's just dinner but the concept is a great idea for the style of food they're offering. One of the most popular dishes is the 14k Cinnamon Roll. Omgggg it's amazing and perfect for sharing. Cocktails were great and our main entrees were delicious. We ordered the burger and their chefs choice hash. If their brunch is this good then I can't even imagine how dinner must be. Unfortunately our upfront experience was negatively impacted by a torrential downpour. The valet service was incredibly disappointing and we all got soaked. We couldn't get a live person from the restaurant on the phone to let them know we were there but stuck in our vehicle due to the rain. Needless to say I expressed our frustration to management and their response was satisfactory. On to the best part, the food. Overall everything was excellent! We started with the table-side mozzarella which was really cool and delicious. We also tried the hash brown with caviar and the pork belly on marrow. Hash brown was phenomenal! Marrow with the pork belly was disappointing...the pork belly was too sweet and overtook the marrow...combination didn't work for us. For our main courses we got the lamb, filet, ribeye, and scallops with king crab...all were exceptional! We were celebrating a birthday so we decided to order all of the desserts and the standouts were the toffee sundae, honey slice and the s'mores! Service was excellent and they even included a muffin and shot of espresso for each of us for breakfast and both were surprisingly delicious! Definitely pricey but worth it overall. This was our second time at 14 Prime. Great ambience & menu. If you are into an experiencing a step above the typical steak, you gotta try 14 Prime. We both ordered the filet mignon and we split the king crab, mushrooms, as well as the au gratin potato. Great combination, however I would not order the king crab again; it was 2 small slivers which for over $60 is outrageous. Had a Pinot noir as well. Rosie was our waitress. This is super long, just to warn you As I eat the leftovers from last night's dinner at 14Prime, I felt compelled to write a review. The entire experience since before we even got there, to right now while I'm eating leftovers, was top notch. NGL, the price point is high. This is not a dinner that my husband and I can do often. But it was our 28th meet-iversary (and 26 years married a couple weeks before) and we wanted to do something special to celebrate both. I wondered if it would be too "high brow" for my husband bc he does not enjoy frufru restaurants and fancy food. I also wondered if I'd be disappointed after spending so much. It was not. And I was not. This was arguably one of the best all around meals we've ever had. My husband kept saying "this was so worth it" and I fully agree. A few days before the date, they contacted me to find out our details - where and how we met, etc. When we arrived, they greeted us with a complimentary glass of prosecco, as others have mentioned. We were very early so we sat at the bar for a drink while we waited. We were simple - he got a beer and I got a glass of wine. I wish I could remember our bartenders name. She was great. Super patient and also gave me a sample of the wine when I wasn't sure what I wanted. They had our table ready early so we moved over. Our server was Thomas and he was fantastic. VERY patient as we took forever to decide what we wanted, but also helpful in guiding us. On our table was a gift of a candle and a small vase of flowers, and a card that mentioned details I had shared with them. We shared the ribeye sliders for the first course, the short rib papperdelle for the second course, and then the pork chops and ribeye for the main course. We also shared a side of the lobster Mac n cheese. Before they brought any of our food, they gave us bread and miso honey butter, and a complimentary beef crostini for each of us. My husband finished with the chocolate mousse and I with an espresso martini. We had too much food! I expected tiny "courses" leading up to the meal but they were NOT tiny. And they knew we were sharing all of them so everything came out already split in two dishes. Upon seeing the size of the dishes, we decided early to only eat half-ish of each one and just start saving everything so we could try it all. Thomas took each and everything that was leftover, and boxed each as we progressed through each dish...keeping everything in the back and clear of our table. Every. Single. Dish was phenomenal. Truly. If I had to choose a favorite, I think it would be the papperdelle. For my husband, it was his pork chop, which he said was easily the best he's ever had. But it feels unfair to choose a favorite because everything was just that good. If you have an opportunity to treat yourself, I highly recommend it. You don't have to order as much as we did. I could have eaten only the papperdelle and would have been full. So you could easily sit at the bar, order a couple items to share, and have more than enough. You can stick with beer if you want to drink at a lower price point ($6). Wine was much more and cocktails even more! But if you want to treat yourself to the full experience, order a cocktail - they come with their own mini appetizer.
