14 Prime delivers one of the best brunch experiences in Jacksonville. The service and ambiance were impeccable from start to finish. The tableside cinnamon bun is a must-order, the lobster shakshuka was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the caviar tater tot was a fun, elevated bite. Every dish was beautifully executed and worth ordering again. If you're looking for an upscale brunch with amazing food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere, 14 Prime is hard to beat.

What an amazing dining experience from start to finish. My boyfriend and I made reservations for a nice Friday night but walking into a complimentary glass of Prosecco really set the tone for us. We were sat in the main dining area and the ambience was warm and sleek. We had Candace as our server who was very helpful and personable. Everyone who assisted even our tableside mozzarella guy was very hospitable. We started with hash brown caviar which was a very lovely treat and great way to eat caviar in a bite size app. Also we had the octopus which was good as well. I think after drinks were following our eyes were bigger than stomach since we ended up doing the tableside mozzarella which is a great presentation, with fresh heirloom tomatoes, basil, and grilled sourdough. The only reason I would give this review a 4 and not a 5 because of my boyfriend's entree. He ordered the rainbow trout and whatever sauce they pour onto the dish, was so salty that it overpowered the fish. Very unfortunate since the trout was beautiful piece. On the other hand, my scallop entree was great especially with the cauliflower puree. We ended our night with the toffee sundae which made up for the fact that the chocolate chip cookies were not served on Fridays. I believe Candace mentioned it was served on certain days at the bar area. It was overall a very nice dining experience, also very nice that it's connected to Sidecar for an after dinner cocktail. Definitely will be back very soon, especially for the brunch!

I don't know exactly why I've been putting off writing this review, but it's probably because I have so much to say and I truly want to do it justice. 14 Prime is an **experience** I don't think there's really many other places in Jacksonville like it, and it's truly become one of my favorites -- whether it's for a celebration, to catch up with friends or a fancy date night. Make the reservation. Get the email requesting details about your night (business/celebration/etc) and watch them go above and beyond. For my parents' BIG wedding anniversary, there was a beautiful card and special flowers in a vase they got to take home. We celebrated with our welcome bubbles at the door and absolutely feasted all night. Another time, we came with friends who were newly married. I sent the high level overview of our reason for visiting -- boom. A hula girl figurine and again, specialty flowers, with the personalized card. They have done the same for all of our anniversaries as well and it's such a nice touch. Service is stellar. We have had a handful of different staff and all have been excellent. Very friendly, know their stuff, happy to help, all of it. You can also work with the sommelier if you are looking for assistance with wine/pairings. I usually go for a cocktail or two because they are just so unique and delicious, My favorite is the First Class Traveler. Just trust me. The space itself if gorgeous. Very classy. Not too stuffy. Dark and moody but not so much that you can't see what's going on (I can't stand that). Love the bar and the back room with the extra chef's kitchen is cool. Next time, we are doing the Chef's Table! The food is beautiful. I love all of the fresh pasta and just wish I didn't have a shellfish allergy so I could eat them all. The tableside mozzarella is a MUST -- so incredible and so fun to order. The bone marrow blew us away and was literally melt in your mouth. You pretty much can't go wrong with anything you order. Steaks are some of the best and my favorite part is the side of melty, gooey roasted garlic that comes with it. Get the butter toppings if you like, but the steaks are heavily seasoned so I usually don't add anything else to mine. All in all, seriously, five stars. Love this place.

I came back for a work event and had a five star experience so I'm updating my review! Now some of this could be because I knew exactly what to order. Here are the dishes that made my experience five stars: -Espresso martini - it comes with a scratch off lottery ticket, I didn't win but it was still fun! -Chargrilled pork belly and octopus -Cowboy ribeye, this might be the best thing on the whole menu -Toffee sundae, sinfully delicious If you follow this list and order these things you too will have a five star meal! Also they updated their lobster mac and cheese to a new recipe and it is an impressive improvement! So creamy and cheesy but I could still taste the lobster. The event space is also great if you have a smaller event I would recommend it. The TV was great for streaming our event and the room was kept quiet when the door was closed.

One word: OBSESSED! 14 Prime is everything she thinks she is. From the stellar service from Ed, to the excellently innovative menu, onto the great wine selection, and all of random and delicious extra "happies" that make their way out of the kitchen before the meal and to go-- I am smitten. Stopped by for a girl date (first visit) and had a ball, the music selection, vibes, and aesthetic-- all top tier! The warm, bread service gets an honorable mention for sure. We were eating light-ish, tried as much as we possibly could, and absolutely loved it all. The ravioli, salmon tartare, pot pie, crab rice, raspberry garden dessert, matcha and muffin to go... no complaints whatsoever. A real winner here. Special nod to Liam next door for the great recommendations. We are sure to return. Cheers!

When I tell you - 14 Prime is redefining the fine dining experience in Jacksonville--and beyond ... it is the truth! Finally getting a reservation on the books, last night was a perfect opportunity to celebrate ... birthday, retirement, first kiss ... From the moment you are cordially greeted with a glass of champagne to the take home bag with muffins & latte for the next morning- every moment exceptional - the service from Candace & the small meaningful touches and ... OMGosh y'all ... the food! 5 's all the way! At almost 3.5 hours - you're not rushed into dine & dash mentality- you savor the food, the ambience and the dinner companions! And a price point many would not embrace, but, special occasions take precedence! Chef sent canapés to table, homemade popover & a Korean sweet bread ... then followed by wedge salads meant to share ... table-side mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes- a meal in itself! Next up pasta ... fresh tortellini that was bursting with flavor ... pork belly & octopus for Mark (of course) ... entrees of lamb chops, shrimp, filet, ribeye & kabobs ... lobster mac'n cheese, guyere mashed potatoes, veggies ... finally a spectacular finish with carrot cake (no raisins!) and a toffee sundae!

14 prime is a must go to in Jax! We enjoyed our entire experience there. From the emails leading up to our reservation to ask for our preferences, allergies, food restrictions and our cocktail orders to the service once we got there was all exceptional! The only caveat we had with the service is that they mentioned complimentary valet parking but the valet made us wait and park our own car which did throw us off a bit especially when the emails and texts all boasted about the valet parking. The food was all really delicious. The menu was creative and each dish had its own flare. Our favorites were the crab fried rice, the spaghetti dish we got, scallops and the Denver wagyu! The experience and the food were definitely worth the price. The restaurant was very cute and had dimmed lighting inside making the ambiance perfect for a date night!

Stopped by 14 Prime for drinks and immediately knew we'd be back. Lydia at the bar was amazing super welcoming and on point from the start (plus a complimentary glass of champagne didn't hurt). Sat at the bar, ordered a few apps, and everything hit. The caviar potato and steak crostini were standouts, but the pork belly and octopus were just as good. She gave us great recommendations and was super knowledgeable about the menu. Perfect spot for a cocktail and bites can't wait to come back for brunch and dinner!!

My gal pals and I decided to get dressed up and treat ourselves to brunch to help beat the winter blues. Plus we needed an excuse to try the $30 cinnamon roll at 14 prime lol. The atmosphere is beautiful and elegant- def stands out in Jacksonville. The wait staff is also clearly professional, polished and well trained. I really liked the gigantic table side cinnamon roll, and the wild mushrooms inside my omelet were so tasty I wish I had just a bowl of them. Otherwise I was a little disappointed because I had heard of so many "over the top" special touches from others who had dined here (I.e. champagne when you walk in, a personalized note, complimentary to go coffee & muffins, etc etc), but we did not receive anything like that at brunch and yes we had made our reservation way in advance. So although brunch was tasty & the ambiance pretty it wasn't a mind blowing experience.

By far the best restaurant I have ever eaten at in Jax. You walk in to a dimly lit entrance next to their wine showcase room. They offer you free prosecco. They seat you. Service was incredible. I took my son and his girlfriend here. Tough to find a fancy restaurant that delivers with delicious food. This one is a winner. Argentinian shrimp was the best I ever had. They order steak. I ordered lamb. Delicious. Desert was delicious but we are too much. Here's the kicker, the flowers on the table, we got to keep!! Of course Charlin, the birthday girl got 'em! It's the little things.

Came to 14 Prime for a birthday and was greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne to start the celebration. This restaurant is certainly one of the nicest ambiance-wise in town. Tables of 2 are seated only at the bar, which we found to still be enjoyable with great service. We ordered the salmon crudo and tableside mozz for apps. Both were great, but the mozz is an absolute must. For our entrees, we got the ribeye and the lamb....both were excellent and cooked exactly to our specifications. I am not normally a carrot cake guy, but man was it good!! All of the drinks are unique and fantastic as well, I got a drink called Cloud 9, which came with a side of cheese for pairing! If all of this wasn't enough, they send you home with cold brew lattes and muffins for the next morning as part of a thank you for joining them for dinner. It is definitely a pricy meal, but the price is justified in the experience and taste. Definitely recommend for a special occasion (or not!)

I took my friends' to dinner for their birthdays here. I booked a reservation on Resy and first impression was good but then it wasn't. They reached out via text introducing themselves and asking how they could better accommodate our visit by asking are we celebrating any occasions, if we had any diet restrictions or allergies, etc etc. Further down the text, they went over their dress code and restaurant policy including no outside food whatsoever including CAKE! I thought this was absurd but I replied with "if you guys don't allow me to bring cake for my friends' birthday do you offer complementary desserts for the birthday girls?" Their responds blew me away and not in a good way. They said they could put a candle on a dessert if we purchase it! I've never had a restaurant restrict me from bringing cake, let alone tell me they can put a measly $1 candle on a dessert. For the price of their menu items and the outstanding and impeccable service they supposedly offer, they sure as hell fell short in their introduction. Of course a manager reached out after I said 'some things' via text but I didn't reply. We decided to still show up and see what the rave was about. Order: 1/2 dozen raw oysters, roasted bone marrow, hash brown & caviar, saffron Campanelle, wild king salmon, creamed Swiss Chard & Spinach, and free range half chicken. Oysters were the only thing that was amazing. I'm sure the steak would have been really good too but no one ordered steak (sadly bc they're a steak house). Everything else was SALTY. Hash brown and caviar was nothing but two French-toast-sized potato wedges topped with fancy fish eggs and tagged as $23. The campanelle is pasta with Maine lobster in a bolognese sauce. Didn't have any bold flavors, it was a simple tomato/red sauce. The bone morrow was topped with sautéed rhubarb and horseradish. I've had plenty of bone morrow but this was not the best. The rhubarb and radish they had on top was super salty and greasy. The grease from that melted on top of the morrow and completely destroyed the creamy and custard texture of the morrow. The salmon was served with lentils and pickled onions. The salmon too was salty but the pickled onions were really good and helped cut through some of that saltiness. The spinach side tasted like frozen spinach topped with cheese. And lastly the chicken. Again too salty but it was cooked nicely. Meat was tender and super juicy. Overall the food service did not meet my expectation, sadly because on their website 14 Prime was supposed to bring Jax a bold innovative refined and elegant dining experience. The only thing that saved them for a two star was the service. Our server was very friendly and attentive. He explained everything on the menu with lots of details.

Can't forget the toffee sundae. The bits of toffee and the warm brownie was everything!

The details were not missed from the time we scheduled to the time we woke up the next morning!! So my husband booked 14 Prime for my birthday and they asked a series of questions about me and what we were celebrating, all my favorites. So when I arrived I had so gorgeous flowers that had my favorite colors in them and a little gift with m name on it. This was the first restaurant that had put so much thought into celebrating me. Very thoughtful. There was also a champagne toast when we checked in! Now the staff greeted us with warm welcome, we sat at the chef's table which was really neat to see all the kitchen come together and make amazing dishes. Everyone was so nice and we laughed with them all night.

We've been here once before. We really liked it but it's been a while since then. We started with the Pao de Queijo, which is the cheesy bread you usually get at a Brazilian steakhouse. We both love this kind of bread and theirs was fantastic. I ordered the Pinanha Rustica and I am so happy that's what I settled on. I ordered the beef medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The Chimichurri sauce was good but honestly, the beef didn't need the help. The thing that surprised me the most was how much I loved the Biro-Biro Rice as a side. It was a really unique combo of things I've never had together before. I would probably go back and order an entree of just that if they offer it! My wife ordered the Costela Ao Molha Madeira Com Risotto de Parmesao. She really liked how the risotto was super cheesy. She said it actually reminded her of the cheesy bread. The beef short rib was very tender and juicy. She said it was a simple dish that added up to something special. We rarely order dessert but decided to split the Petit Gateau de Doce de Leite. It was so rich, dense and delicious. The pecan ice cream with it was great as well. It was small but enough for us to split. I'm bummed I forgot to get our servers name because he was fantastic. We really need to not go so long between visits because this visit was just as good as the last one. This review originally appeared in the Jacksonville Fun, Eats & Drinks Facebook group.

They were crispy on the outside, warm on the inside, and filled with flavorful meat. The sauces paired perfectly with them and made an already great appetizer even better. For my entrée, I ordered the Bandeja Paisa, and it did not disappoint. The meats were the star of the plate. Everything was juicy, cooked perfectly, and seasoned just enough without being overpowering. The steak was surprisingly tender despite being well done, with just the right amount of fat. The sausage had a great snap, the egg was perfectly jammy, and the chicharrón was absolutely incredible--crispy, crunchy, and easily one of the best I've had. I didn't try the sweet plantains since I'm not a fan and they couldn't be substituted. The arepa was good, although nothing particularly memorable. The only parts of the meal I wasn't impressed with were the rice, which was a bit too salty for my taste, and the beans, which lacked flavor and were underwhelming. For dessert, I tried both the tiramisu and the chocolate cake. The tiramisu was just okay--it wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out, and I wouldn't order it again. The chocolate cake, however, was outstanding. It was incredibly moist, rich without being overly sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, Salento does an amazing job with their meats, and that's what I'd recommend most. While a couple of the sides and one dessert didn't quite hit the mark for me, the empanadas, Bandeja Paisa, chicharrón, and chocolate cake were all excellent. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. The environment is pretty nice and quiet.

Reservation on Opentable made it easy and just walked in, checked in a sat a table. We were only going to the dinner service, but they do offer a lounge type atmosphere after 11 on the weekends. There is a dress code and to be honest, it just makes the vibe of the restaurant. This is the spot to go to, when you want to dress up and have a nice dinner. Our server Simir made our dining experience even better. He was knowledgeable, friendly and on time. This place is truly a hidden gem on Baymeadows. Jacksonville really needed this, and hope others will follow suite. Our food was amazing and worth the price we paid. This truly is a spot you want to go to when you want to feel extra special.

We got Bread - the inside was super soft and warm, and it had a decent crust so it was really good dipped in the oil and balsamic. But idk if I would necessarily get it again. They kind of made it seem like it would be complimentary and it wasn't. And you can get plenty full without it, so while it was pretty cheap, it wasn't necessarily worth it for us Tuna tartare - really good! The tuna tasted really fresh, and the chips were so light and crispy without feeling too oily. And I was a big fan of the mango coulis. Grilled Mediterranean octopus - I've never had such soft and tender octopus before! So so flavorful too. However because it was so soft, I thought it was kind of weird that everything that came with it was also like sauces and foams. I wish there was some kind of texture within the dish. Pan seared snapper - This one kind of confused us because the menu said it came with orzo but they brought it out with like pasta noodles. And we were kind of :// because we ended up with two similar creamy pasta dishes. But we just ate it anyways and it was really good! Just would have been nice if they told us beforehand, we probably would have chosen something else instead. But ya super creamy and the artichoke and tomatoes gave it a nice brightness. The snapper was kind of tough but I also know snapper isn't the most tender fish. Black truffle bucatini - so good, the pasta was al dente and the truffle flavor was super strong Molten dulce de leche - the perfect amount of sweetness. It was so gooey and warm and paired so well with the vanilla ice cream.

This…read morehas been my favorite restaurant of 2026 so far from the quality ingredients making up the food to the superb service offered by the staff. I got here as they opened on Sunday, and it got packed relatively quickly. I'd recommend having a reservation if you're planning to visit during busier timeframes like this. I was seated promptly by attentive staff, and quickly had both food and drink menus to begin ordering. I was looking for something tasty without being too heavy, and settled on the Little Hans Vienna Lager along with the 8 oz steak burger and fries. The beer had amazing flavor similar to Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager with a good, crisp finish. The burger meal, described with "Tillamook cheddar cheese, caramelized onion & bacon jam, beef fat aioli, grilled potato roll, truffle fries", was arguablely the best burger and fries I've ever had in my life. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavor of the wood-fired grill certainly complemented the meat. The house-made pickles were a great touch to add another layer of complexity to the burger. I could tell the fries were fresh cut and never frozen. The truffle oil made these even more amazing. The manager offered and brought a special sauce to try that they normally serve with their chicken chicken sandwich that was superbly tasty and tangy. More than impressed with my entree, I elected to try a desert and was recommended the S'mores pie by my waitress. The deliciously buttery crust was my favorite part of the ensemble and blended well with the savory chocolate filling topped with a toasted marshmallow. While a bit pricey for lunch compared to most places, I was more than satisfied with the offerings provided here and would love to visit Ember and Iron again. Give my number one choice of 2026 thus far some love!

I ordered the rib eye medium. The rib eye was mostly fat. I expect some with this cut but it was too much. The side for both dishes were very good. I apologize for this review but going out a meal is special and we expected more.

It had been a few years since our last visit, and boy, did Chophouse 13 exceed our expectations! From the prompt greeting by the hostess and being seated quickly, to the great service from Franco, everything was perfectly timed. He never rushed us, which was especially appreciated as we caught up with our kids, whom we hadn't seen in a while. And the meal...WOW! It was outstanding. Oysters Rockefeller and deviled eggs to start, perfectly cooked steaks and scallops, and sides that were every bit as good as the steaks! And, of course, a great chocolate cake to cap off a fantastic dining experience. Even as we were leaving, the experience continued. The hostess was so gracious and happy to take a few pictures of our party. It was such a nice touch and another example of how welcoming and attentive the entire staff was. My wife and I both agreed that this was one of the best dining experiences we've had in several years!
