We Absolutly loved this Israeli Restaurant with authentic food. Staff was terrific, friendly and…read moreattentive. The restaurant is adorable, with a nice outside terrace. The portions are quite generous. Now for the food. We started with Moroccan Cigars; Merguez wrapped in phyllo, very yummy. I had the Eggs Sophie; crispy potato latkes, smoked salmon, top with sunny side eggs and a small salad. The Avocado Toast with sunny side eggs, feta cheese on a multigrain toast was delicious. Shakshuka ( regular or spicy) careful with the spicy, eggs, peppers, feta, cilantro with stewed tomatoes was equally delicious. The Schnitzel and waffles delicious, copious serving. No room for desert. They have a full bar. There a children's menu. Definitely will go back.

STAY AWAY: An Insult to Israeli Cuisine and Common Sense…read moreRating: 0/5 Stars As an Executive Chef and an Israeli citizen, I am rarely speechless, but "Blondit" managed to achieve a level of stupidity beyond comprehension. Let's start with the name. In Hebrew, blondinit is often used as a derogatory shorthand for a shallow, vacuous, or "clueless" woman. It is incredibly fitting that the owners chose this name, as it perfectly reflects the restaurant's operational philosophy: total, unadulterated ignorance. The entire experience was an exercise in deception. This isn't just a bad kitchen; it's a "fake" restaurant. They have no understanding of the ingredients they are handling or the culture they claim to represent. The menu is a work of fiction. What you order is never what arrives because the kitchen staff clearly doesn't know what they are making or selling. The "Food": A Culinary Disaster * The "Cigars": The menu promised delicate Moroccan cigars in crisp phyllo dough. What arrived were heavy, leaden, grease-soaked eggrolls. * The Lamb Burger: This was a masterclass in how not to cook. The meat was over-processed to the point of having the texture of "guppy poop" and was salted so heavily it was borderline toxic. * The Halloumi Fiasco: They topped the burger with Halloumi--a squeaky, salty cheese that does not melt. Placing a cold, rubbery slab of salt on top of an already oversalted, mushy patty shows a fundamental lack of basic culinary knowledge. The Environment: A Health Hazard If the food wasn't insulting enough, the atmosphere was stomach-turning. While I was attempting to navigate the inedible mess on my plate, there were kids vomiting in the dining area. Multiple children were getting sick, and the staff acted as if it were a routine occurrence. No one cared, no one rushed to clean it properly, and no one seemed concerned about the obvious health risks. I should have taken the vomiting children as a warning sign. I left the restaurant feeling ill and ended up getting violently sick from the few bites I actually managed to swallow. This place is an embarrassment to Israeli hospitality. It is fake food run by people with zero understanding of cooking. Save your money, save your stomach, and stay far away from this disaster. I will never return.

My last review was a bit harsh, but honest. (food has always been great. Service wasn't up to that…read morestandard ). Props to Tim for correcting it!! I got served by Tamar yesterday and today again! This place is busy because the baked goods are exceptional and the food looks great too (haven't had any yet, I'm a bakery guy)! But Tamar was efficient yet nonetheless, cheerful, chatty, and helpful! I give this place five stars. The baked goods are as good as it gets and the service is too! I particularly recommend the cinnamon and sugar monkey bread, chocolate chip, cookies, and blueberry coffee, crumb cake! The last one sounded kind of odd to me, but it really really works!! Again, props to you, Tim!!! and many thanks to you Tamar!!

First visit here, although I have passed it by numerous times on the Post Rd in Norwalk. I came to…read moretry the "Parisian" sandwich with Jambon de Paris (specific ham from Paris France). Small parking lot shared with multiple other businesses, but was able to find a spot. I was greeted seconds after entering, asking what I wanted, but as this was my first time here I wanted time to look around. Other than a party of 4 who were seated inside, no other customers were around. I had no idea they made pizza, and I took a suggested sample to try. Outstanding. Still looking and deciding, I was again asked if I was ready. I did know I wanted a sourdough baguette. OK. Packed. I asked about the Parisian sandwich (all the sandwiches are pre made and disayed in the case), to be sure Jambon de Paris was used. The staff had NO clue what I was talking about, and rudely proclaimed "it's ham". Yes, I am aware its ham, but if it is not Jambon de Paris I want to know so I can chose something else. Luckily, the manager or owner overheard and confirmed it was Jambon de Paris. Staff began ringing my items when I indicated that I still wanted 2 more items. Sigh and eyeroll. There was no one else in line or waiting to order. All items were expensive and no receipt was provided which I did not realize till I got home. The sandwich was good, but needed more Jambon de Paris. The tarragon mustard gave a nice flavor, while the butter provided a smooth texture to compliment the crunchiness of the bread. The sourdough bread and the filled croissants were both delicious, but also quite pricey. Sandwiches are not made or order, there is no pricing on many of the items that I could see, this is a location with lots of traffic and not much parking. On top of all of that, feeling rushed and completely disrespected as a paying customer doesn't make me want to return or recommend. You only get one chance to make a good first impression.
