    Filet Mignon - 6 Oz

This was a really nice place that was unexpected. When you go to a strip mall, the last thing you expect is a nice steakhouse. When you enter in, it's very bright and cheerful, but it is loud.. we started with drinks, which are very good as was the wait staff and service. It wasn't terribly crowded considering it was Fourth of July weekend. We both opted for the filet mignon. We didn't want a huge portion of steak and it was just enough and it was cooked perfectly. I did order the baked potato, which was sad to find out they had sold out. They did offer the twice baked potato but I had my heart set on a baked potato. They did bring steak to the table and came by with butter selection for you to finish off your steak.. it wasn't really necessary because the flavor was so good. All the food came to the table hot the service was excellent.. We can stay with confidence that we would definitely come back to 1776. We had a good solid meal here..

I really would like to leave a better review but the problem is service. I'm a big believer in it as I've been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. How do you not clear any of the silverware, (used or not) and keep additional more. Empty cocktail glasses just left there while we are having our wine. Bottom line is that it comes down to training and I'm starting to believe people either don't know or they just look the other way. The place is decorated/designed nicely. The food is good but not over the top and I believe when getting a filet with Béarnaise with lobster there should be more sauce and lobster. The server came around a bit late ( half way through my meal) offering complimentary compound butters. That comes down to lack of training and service once again.

We absolutely love 1776 Steakhouse! We were away for a girlfriends weekend. Our friends had gone there earlier in the week before we arrived. They told us we had to go to this restaurant. They offer an all-inclusive menu from 2 to 5 PM every day, which includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $35. Everything was absolutely amazing. Their chocolate martinis with a chocolate disc lid, stenciled in gold dust are the best I've ever had and I'm in my 60s. Rob was our server and he was polite and professional. Everyone was kind and friendly. The interior design is beautiful. Highly, highly recommend!

Crème brûlée cheese cake! Wild berry sherbet.

10/10. Best experience. We were from out of town and went for an anniversary. Between the food, the service, and the live music .... We loved it!!!

The highly anticipated reopening of 1776 Steakhouse has not only lived up to the hype, it has completely blown past it. This is, without question, the best 1776 has ever been, and that is saying something. While the stunning renovation immediately catches your eye with its elevated colonial chic aesthetic, the real story goes far beyond the design. The entire experience has been refined and elevated in a way that feels both fresh and deeply respectful of what made this place special to begin with. The steaks are on another level. You can instantly tell the quality of the meat has improved. Every bite is incredibly tender, deeply flavorful, and cooked to perfection. These are easily the best steaks in Delaware right now. Long-time fans will appreciate that the soul of 1776 is still intact. The perennial favorites are still here, and some have even been elevated in thoughtful ways that make them feel new again. At the same time, the new menu additions are both delicious and visually stunning, adding a layer of excitement and discovery. There truly is something for everyone. The cocktail program deserves its own mention. The menu is thorough and thoughtfully curated, delivering creative craft cocktails just as well as it executes the classics. Whether you want something familiar or something inventive, it hits on every level. What makes 1776 especially impressive is how it balances being high end without ever feeling pretentious. It is polished, warm, and welcoming all at once. The team is incredible, and the service is impeccable from start to finish. This place has already surpassed expectations and will continue to do so. It is very clear that 1776 is about to become the go-to steakhouse for the Delaware beaches, and honestly, it has a strong case for the entire state. An absolute home run.

Went there for the prefix meal with my wife the other day everything was top-notch cocktails were delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly. Will be dreaming about that crème brûlée cheesecake.

    My "medium-rare" steak.

I agree with the other reviews being wholly confused how this place is so highly praised. My husband and I visited for a special event. There was an issue with every single course we ordered. Wrong drink, bad oysters, foul fish, undercooked steak. I'm dumbfounded how this place can get so much wrong while claiming to be a high end restaurant. Even the sides were so underwhelming it was shocking. Our waitress was trying, but she mentioned she was brand new. Realistically she absolutely wasn't ready to be on the floor. Such a shame. Considering how terrible everything was, it's not even worth a second chance.

All around amazing experience! Staff were very professional and the food was delicious. Our waiter made a great recommendation for the lobster baked potato. We had a great time the pianist was a nice touch! Overall great experience and plenty of leftovers! We saw a few people dressed super casual definitely not the place for that.

Does this restaurant serve yuengling on draft? My husband and I want to celebrate about 5 events he's going to be missing over the next year and he loves yuengling on draft!

Not on draft, but I believe they have it in bottles. Good luck & enjoy!

Will the prime rib available on Thursday October 14 th?

It was available during the summer for that day but you should call them to verify plus make a reservation anyway to be safe!!

Every single dish we ordered was outstanding, no exceptions. Each plate showed real care in preparation, with flavors that were bold, balanced, and memorable. Maybe a Phony Negroni or something. What stood out most was how the whole experience came together--great food, great service, and great atmosphere rarely align this seamlessly. The Ahi tuna on a fried wanton, mango, cucumber, avocado, seaweed salad, with siracha for the kick! The tuna was fresh and tender on the fried wanton was delicious. The calamari was not the best. It was mostly batter. I barely tasted the squid.each piece was small and For our main entrees we ordered the following: Crab cake dinner came with asparagus and rice. The crab cakes were big with no fillers. The rice was not fully cooked, there was still some crunch when you ate it. So we had it replaced with mash potatoes. And that was so good. Fish and chips: for the price, the 3 pieces of fish were very disappointing! There were barely any fish for the 3 pieces. It was mostly hallow in the batter. Check out my pictures. But the fries were good. Imperial flounder: three from our group ordered this. The portion was big! The flounder was soft and tender, added the stuffed crab was even better! My only issue with this was there was barely any seasoning! Which was fine in this case because we had people with high blood pressure. We had to add a little salt and pepper for some taste. Seared salmon - dinner special. My daughter had it cooked medium, but it came out a little more than medium. There was no raw pink in the middle. The salmon was good, but it came out bland with no searing. This was good too for my daughter since we don't want her to get use to eating salty food. Overall, this place is decent.
