Luckily Google reviews were far more plentiful and I could bank on their high stars instead (as I do more and more these days). I got the sampler for $18.99 and holy guacamole this is a TON OF FOOD, and fresh good food too! Actually got the sampler twice, and they forgot one of the takeout containers (enchiladas) the first time. Second time had another meal's worth of food! Idk if it's Southern-Mexican differing from my Mexican places up North, or what, but for the taquitos, I've never had a dish so heavy on the Crema Mexicana! It was pooling under everything, drenched the tortillas. Tostadas were crisp and had perfect ratio of meat v crisp fresh veg. I could eat those all day. Overall food was delicious! Food-- 2.5/5 was mediocre at best, ordered the LA burrito. I was hoping the burrito would have fries inside like a typical LA burrito; however, they served them on the side. The prices are insanity, having traveled across the country not even at the highest end Mexican establishments have I paid $4.00 for a taco, lacking in both portion size and flavor. This little authentic "hole in the wall" Mexican restaurant was everything I hoped it would be when I heard about it! Mexican soaps playing on the tiny TV in the dining room. I thought the mariachi band was playing in a speaker in the dining room, but it was the kitchen staff jamming out in the back, which was great. The chips were made so fresh they were still moist from the fryer. The salsa was even more fresh. It was like they made it right at our table. I ordered the three meat, chimichanga, shrimp, steak, and chicken, each one at its own place in the chimichanga wrap. And each layer was its own meal. Listen when I left this place, I was hurt in the best possible way. My wife and I didn't even eat dinner because we were still so incredibly full. I know beans and rice are just beans and rice, but you could tell that these were made with extra care. Like I could have legit, just ate the beans and rice with the white cheese and salsa, and been perfectly fine. Top notch would recommend for sure. read more

Friends from the are recommended this place for lunch. This was the best food we ate out on our trip. It is a more authentic Mexican food restaurant. The food was well seasoned and everything tasted so fresh. The only things I didn't care for were the chips, most likely due to the flavor of whatever grease they were fried in.
