The location of this restaurant is great! It's right by Jax beach and they have outdoor seating. The food I thought was alright, it's not very flavorful but the margaritas were great! Our server made some great recommendations and they accommodated us on a Friday night without a reservation!
I came here last Saturday night with a large group celebrating a birthday. We were sat outside and with it being August, it was pretty hot. I just ordered a margarita and a macho nacho. The portions were large enough that I didn't feel like I needed to order an entree. Even with sharing it with other people, there was still another half left. But the waitress just took it away without asking if I wanted to take the leftovers home. I wish that was offered before paying the $50 bill that had added gratuity to it.
I've been here several times now, and one thing I can always count on is the consistency. One of the things I constantly come back for is the roasted oysters with chorizo. They're one of my absolute favorite and they're the main reason I wanted to bring my boyfriend here because I knew he would love them. They were an absolute hit! The combination of the smoky, roasted oysters with the savory, spicy chorizo is just incredible. I usually order the same thing every time I come, but this time I decided to switch it up and ordered the scallops and I'm so glad I did. The scallops were cooked to perfection: beautifully seared on the outside while remaining tender, delicate, and buttery inside. The corn purée was my favorite part of the dish. It was creamy, slightly sweet, and paired so well with the scallops. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye with spicy compound butter, and that steak was SO juicy. I loved that everything had that delicious wood fired char that gives the food so much depth and smoky flavor. The spicy compound butter was definitely a standout for me it melted right over the steak and added the perfect amount of richness and heat. Even the vegetables on the side were delicious and had that same wonderful flavor. And, of course, the cocktails were amazing. We finished everything off with a beautiful espresso martini, which was the perfect ending to the meal.

I loved the ambience and the vibes here. Service was great. But i consider it an over priced taco spot. Not worth the price, it almost 5$ per taco and they did not blow our mind with flavor. The only thing we truly enjoyed was the guac and chips and the coffee flan! Top tier!

However I was pleasantly by the fresh seafood options as well as margarita selection. Service was amazing for patio seating in the late evening. The restaurant has a beautiful lounge feel with intimate lighting and beautiful furnishing.
We were seated immediately when we arrived. Had a reservation for a high top. Wide open space with booths, tables, high tops and bar. We started with a Clarified Mezcal Margarita and a Oaxaca Old Fashioned. Both were perfect! Guacamole came next with warm chips. Tons of flavor and cilantro oil was a nice touch. For main course my husband had the pork shank with chimichurri. It fell off the bone and was delicious!! I had the pan seared scallops. Our server , Tavish was kind enough to describe the size of the dish to me. They were fantastic and served with a succotash. We were too stuffed for dessert but definitely be back!!.
This was one of the best dining experience we had while visiting our friend in Jax beach. The food was excellent, the drinks especially the tequila craft cocktails exceeded wetting our whistles. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. The ambiance was tasteful and matched the menu. It was a bit pricey but we enjoyed the dining experience very much and will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
4.5 stars would be most accurate. Located in the heart of Jacksonville Beach, this fancy restaurant serves Oaxaca food from Mexico for both dinner and brunch. I had my first meal there when I visited Jacksonville Beach recently. Got the grilled bone-in yellow snapper, which was a daily special. Fresh, meaty, smoky. It was served with mixed greens and apple salad, some grilled green onions and freshly made corn tortillas. All paired well with the fish. The tortillas were about 0.75oz per piece. Moreover, the dish was served on a HUGE cutting board! I also ordered a side of Spanish rice, but surprisingly the manager took it off from my bill, saying that "[he was] glad that I enjoyed the meal so much"! The first meal was indeed impressive; it had been a while since I had had such Mexican food last time. So I decided to give it another try the next evening. Ordered the Carne Asada (asked for rare) and sub the beans with extra tortillas (to avoid high GI food). But the steak was disappointing: the first time it was served ~medium-well. The second time it was ~medium-rare so I did not complain twice. However, it was quite chewy. One reason was that, as you can see from my picture, the meat was not rest long enough before it was sliced and served. Service was good, friendly and quick. The restuarant was a bit noisy but I enjoyed the energy. Moreover, there were lots of beautiful decors and murals. I really like the tiger painted on the wall of their main dining area. So in short, I would recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food. I would recommend the seafood and slowly-cooked stuff, like their short rib and pork shank. And I will dine in again the next time I visit Jacksonville Beach.
Regular customer, first time brunch experience and I highly recommend it! We ordered the omelette, burger, shrimp and grits. I ordered the burger with no bun and didn't miss it at all. Burger was not over cooked and the fries were crispy. the sauce that was served on the side instead of on the bun was very tasty on the fries. Omelette was excellent and not overcooked like many places that offer them. Shrimp and grits flavor profile was excellent as well. Service is always exceptional. Espresso martinis are always made with fresh espresso which I prefer.
The food was pretty flavorful! I got the shrimp quesadillas and their salsas were tasty! I got a spicy jalapeño margarita on the rocks and that was amazing. There was a good amount of heat to the drink where it didn't feel spicy. Got the chicken nachos as well and it was good and I liked how chips were coated in the sauce. The only thing knock I have is I felt the food was a bit too pricey but other than that good to great food and great location.
Wonderful Carne Asada - chips and salsa were good but they don't come as complimentary so be prepared to pay for them. the service was great and they had some wonderful drinks on their happy hour menu
Very nice. The inside and out. The waitress and hostess was super sweet. There isn't a huge selection of wine. The menu looked amazing. I had the Sauvignon blanc from Mexico. It was nice. I just ordered chips and salsa. More than enough and 3 types of salsa! A nice surprise. The wine was $17 and the chips and salsa $7. The chips were amazing. Salsa was very good. I'd definitely come back to try more. Very nice. Very sheen place. The inside and outside very nice. Fancy beach vibe.
GNO We shared baked oysters, octopus, and Peruvian chicken. Great food, even better company, and the perfect Jax Beach vibe. Special shout-out to our server! This is a staple spot for me whenever I'm at the beach and looking for a good restaurant! The vibes are ALWAYS fun and vibrant. The space is very clean and modern with a hint of boho chic that ties in perfectly with the beachy atmosphere. And I have to mention the playlist! The music is always so good and upbeat that it literally makes you want to get up and dance. It really adds to the overall experience and makes dinner here feel like a whole vibe. I mostly come here for dinner with my friends, and we always have the best time. We've never been disappointed! The service is consistently warm and welcoming. Tonight, our waiter, Tavage, was incredibly kind and patient with us while we were ordering. My absolute favorite item on the menu is the roasted oysters. I get them every time, and everyone who tries them ends up loving them! I honestly haven't found roasted oysters made quite like this anywhere else. The Mahi Mahi tacos and chicken tacos are also incredibly flavorful. And if you like a little heat, definitely go for the pork tacos! Overall, this is one of those places I can always count on for great food, good service, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely a beach favorite of mine! read more
We were staying nearby at the Margaritaville Beach Hotel, Jacksonville and discovered the Oaxaca Club Mexican Restaurant. Stylish cultural decor, upbeat and busy, we really enjoyed the food and cocktails. The correct pronunciation is way-HAH-kah. The cuisine is chef driven with an expansive menu that features gourmet tacos, queso dips, guacamole with corn chips, along with more hearty fare including grilled salmon, burgers, and steak entrees. If you are a tequila fan or a mezcal devotee you will love exploring the wide selection of craft cocktails using the freshest ingredients, premium tequila, and rare mezcals. read more

For our 1yr Anniversary we had dinner at Oaxaca Club and it was a great spot! It is adjacent to Jax Beach and has indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoor because it was too hot. We went during happy hour and shared the beef tacos and 2 orders of wings. The wings were amazing! The cilantro ranch that came with the wings was so good and flavorful! We also got the carne asada plate. I don't have a pic of the dish but I wish I did. It was huge and enough to share. Most of their dishes are enough to share. I loved the decor of the place. Think beachy Mexican Tulum vibes. Service was very fast and our waitress was so nice and able to give us recommendations on food. We will most def be back again! read more

I thought this place was cool looking from the outside so I had to come visit. It was empty when I came maybe around 10 people were inside about six of them at the bar. We sat outside on the patio in the front, we ordered Carne Asada tacos, rice, and beans and a burrito The Carne Asada tacos were really good, they even had blue tortillas which was different for me, but still tasty I'm not sure if I would be back, maybe it's a different vibe at night time read more
I was very pleased with Oaxaca Club. Heading out for a belated birthday celebration, my husband and I were looking forward to trying the place. With a hankering for steak, I knew exactly what I wanted - carne asada. We started with the queso completo, which included corn, chorizo, and peppers. It was thick and flavorful, perfect for chip dipping but a little challenging to get into a tortilla. My husband ordered the barbacoa enchiladas and we split a side of brussel sprouts. They were nice enough to sub the rice that came with the steak for a salad. We both enjoyed our entrees and we had more than enough for leftovers given the very generous portions. For dessert, we shared the pastel pina, which was a delicious butter cake topped with pineapples and brown butter frosting. If it had a scoop of ice cream to accompany it, it would've been even better! Oaxaca Club had a very mixed clientele, which was nice to see at the beach. I love this spot! The restaurant itself is very chic. Everything we ate was delicious (such good flavors) and our waitress was amazing. Super fun and personable girl! I came back again a second time a couple of days later for a friend's birthday and the food was great again and the service was top notch for a big group. Rainy Sunday afternoon on the patio of Oaxaca Club is definitely a vibe. If they are not busy, there may not be anyone at the front stand so it may take a couple of minutes for them to notice you are there to be seated. Once seated, my server came and promptly took my drink order, chips and salsa do not come automatically they are an additional $6 charge. I decided to order the chips and guac instead. The guac was fresh and the chips were also fresh and seemed freshly fried! That's always a plus. To drink, I ordered the Endless Weekend mocktail and it was so flavorful and refreshing, definitely something I would order again! For my main dish I ordered a veggie quesadilla with rice and beans. The quesadillas are made with blue corn tortillas and are served with 2, sour cream, guac and salsa are also included. The veggie quesadilla is amazing btw and the rice and beans are good as well! I will be back to try the cauliflower tacos!! read more

We stopped in before the 904 popup and sat at the bar. We were greeted pretty quickly and placed an order for some drinks. Food wise my husband went for the brunch burger, I went for the chile relleno and chargrilled oysters. I was asked if I wanted the meal or a la carte, I picked a la carte but fyi it wasn't a different price to not get the rice and beans but I knew I wouldn't eat them so no worries. Overall the food was good, the service was ok but the vibes are on point. We would be back. read more

We both ordered the Soleado Spritz with gin (yummy, strong) and split the chips and salsa (trio of yummy sauces and light, thin, flaky and salty chips) and the oysters (delicious, served with a chimichurri sauce (also good with the chips). Delicious! Nearby people were enjoying tacos (3 for $16), nachos, and salads- all looked amazing. Good food and quality, put in half about $30 each before tip. Drinks about $15-18 each, no specials. Great vibe, inside and outside seating. Service was quick, not super talkative to us but it was Friday at 5:30. Will completely a full review when we stay for dinner. read more
A group of us went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Our hotel was in walking distance. The service was very slow, but the food made up for the slow service. It was only one other table and 2 people at the bar. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. I recommend it being in a rush. The Guacamole and chips were a five star all by itself. We decided to try Oaxaca Club on a Saturday evening. I must mention that the location is great, it's right by the beaches, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very open and warm. There is also outside seating available, though we opted to sit inside. They offer a lot of cocktails, however I was appreciative that they offered wine as well, not too many Mexican restaurants offer good wine. To drink I ordered the Tempranillo. Food wise everything was excellent. We started with the nachos which I did not think we would finish, however the nachos were so good that we ended up clearing the plate. For entrees we had the whole chicken, which was honestly enough for 3 people, possibly 4. The chicken was seasoned good, and had a delicious pico de gallo on top. It also was served with rice, beans, and sweet plantains. I cannot wait to visit again, this easily is my favorite Mexican restaurant now! read more

We were 8 people and we put in a reservation beforehand, very recommended since this place a Saturday night is packed. We were seated outside, and it was very nice and private area. Our waiter was nice and attentive. The drinks were surprisingly delicious. The food was also very good and the prices were lower than we expected from a beach city. I had chicken quesadillas and husband got fish tacos. I will be coming again to order myself those fish tacos read more
I came for a late lunch and it was divine! I had the cauliflower tacos with grilled chicken added, as well as the endless summer mocktail. Everything was absolutely delicious - no notes:). This place was a great new find! The atmosphere is open and lovely. Jackie and Maddie provided great service and were friendly. The food was unique and delicious! A great combo!! The fish tacos were Devine! The street corn in bowl (can't remember the name) is delicious!!! The picture is showing it wrapped in a fresh tortilla, so so good! The churros were authentic, crunchy and the dipping sauce was the perfect touch. We can't wait to return and try some other things, but what we ordered is worth a repeat for sure!! read more

This newer Mexican restaurant is very close to Jacksonville Beach's bandshell near the beach. The interior is beautiful along with the bar area. They also have plenty of outdoor seating. The lunch menu has plenty of appetizers, six salads, six tacos, four sandwiches, four entrees and several desserts. I was in the mood for a salad so I asked my server, Madeline, which one she recommended. She suggested the Carne Asada Cobb salad, so I went with her recommendation. I have to tell you it was probably the best Cobb salad I have had in my life. In addition to the well seasoned steak, it had eggs, bacon, tomatoes, green onions, avocado, blue cheese and several types of greens. Service was friendly and prompt. read more

Definitely a unique dining experience! The menu is not your typical Mexican offerings, don't be fooled by the names! I took my best friend here for her birthday and it was such a cute vibe! The service was great and we had an awesome evening. read more
