Many people were celebrating birthdays with large parties. We ordered the seafood fondeaux based on my friend's recommendation and it was excellent. I ate way too much for sure but it was hard to stop! I ordered the Chicken Ooh La La with angel hair pasta and added on a side salad. I tried the ginger citrus (house) dressing and wasn't sure what to expect but I was very pleased. Not overpowering ... perfect mix of ginger and citrus. The Chicken Ooh La La was excellent as well and needless to say I took most of it with me. My husband ordered the Poo Boy (half portion) with fries. He said it was excellent as well and the half portion was just enough. Service was excellent as well. The young lady that waited on us was super friendly and accommodating. The staff also comes around in NOLA fashion and throws beads on you which was a fun experience. I would definitely return to Henry's but for now I look forward to my leftovers tomorrow!

He didn't offer to replace our meal with something else or take it off the check, disappointing meal overall. This is a fairly expensive restaurant that we would like to frequent because we live close. I hope they get the kitchen or whatever is going on over there together. I truly dislike it when there's an excuse made for a poorly prepared meal because I know a good meal from a badly prepared and overcooked one, especially seafood. My husband and I dined at 1885 Grill to celebrate my birthday, and while the experience was nice, it didn't quite exceed expectations. However, I did find myself wondering if the sauce for the ravioli was the same as the lobster bisque. While it was good, the flavors seemed a bit too similar, which made me hesitate a bit. That said, it was still enjoyable overall. My husband ordered the shrimp and crawfish etouffee, and while he said it didn't quite live up to his expectations, he still enjoyed the dish. The flavors were good, but he felt it could have been a little more flavorful or spicy. It's always a tough call when you have high hopes for a dish, but it was still a decent meal. To finish, we shared a slice of cheesecake, which was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. It was rich and creamy, a classic choice for dessert, and it hit the spot. Traveled to Atlanta for a weekend getaway, googled a place to eat and this place popped up, I went here, and it appeared that it was going to be a good choice, until i went inside, had to wait almost 20 minutes before anyone even came to take our order, in the meantime we went to the bar to order some cocktails while we wait, the bartender was too busy running her mouth and having conversations with other workers to even notice us at the bar trying to place a order! and when she did finally notice us she took her time to come over and ask us want we need, it was very clear that she didnt have any customer service skills!! her whole attitude was horrible, she seem to be rushing us to make a choice of what we wanted and then when we gave her our decision she again began to have a conversation with other workers before she decided to make our drinks, finally we were able to order food and when it got there it looked like a 2yr old put the food on the plate, the food was room temperature as if it had been sitting out over night! i have been told that the food in Atlanta was great, but I must say this one is terrible! customer service is a very important factor in my dining options, this place gets a negative 0 star for there customer service I will definitely not visit this place again! read more

While the food was what I'd consider typical, we opted for all appetizers since we had dinner plans later. We tried the wings (I can't recall the flavor), the empanadas, and the salmon dip. We were excited about the salmon dip, as it's usually flavorful and pairs well with bread or crackers, but we were disappointed this time--it lacked the expected taste. The empanadas were decent, though nothing extraordinary, and the wings were the highlight, actually quite tasty. For dessert, we had the pecan bread pudding, served warm and drenched in caramel. I was seated quickly but waited for about 20 minutes before my table even received waters. when we finally were able to order and received the food it was Inedible. I thought the only good experience would be the drinks, how hard could it be to make a decent drink, but I was horribly mistaken. I found out one but two bees in my drink. When I alerted our table attendant to the problem I could visibly see the staff behind the bar gathered around My drink and laughing. This is my second time at this restaurant, and once again the experience was absolutely amazing. The service is impeccable -- the staff is always friendly, attentive, and professional. I ordered two appetizers: the Smoked Salmon and Artichoke Dip and the House Smoked Ribs, and both were outstanding! The flavors were unique and perfectly balanced -- definitely worth trying if you're visiting. I also tried two Oktoberfest beers available for the month, and they were excellent -- great pairing with the food and the cozy atmosphere of the place. This is not a particularly safe place for certain groups of people, so keep that in mind. It is unlikely I would come back here for that very reason. Ambiance otherwise was cute - the decorations are charming and kitschy. The server we had was kind and helpful. Music and acoustics are loud. Food was alright. I'm vegetarian and while the veg options were ok, I ended up just having some fried pickles. They were really good and you get a reasonable serving. But my friends and I did feel like everything was pretty overpriced for bar food - but I guess this is probably the new norm in this economy.

The shining star in this entire restaurant isn't even the food but was the manager Juliette. She was absolutely incredible. She remembered us when we came in the second time and knew exactly what we wanted to order. As a vegetarian she made sure that she accommodated my dietary restrictions and recommended items that she really enjoys and thought would be good for me to try. Rare find in Cartersville!…read more We moved from Alpharetta to rural GA and the one thing we miss is great food and have learned to level set our expectations but no more! We found Largos by accident and what an amazing surprise. Their selection of oysters were terrific and we thought, wow, we stumbled across a really nice place and then we had the beef tartar with foie gras and OMG, we were hooked. We followed up with lamp lollipops and finished off with crème brûlée. Each course was excellent. We highly recommend!! This place is a must try.

The atmosphere was upbeat, and I liked the wooden beams and old feel. The first 2 things we wanted to order they didn't have. We ordered shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, I ordered smothered chicken and my husband ordered the ribeye - medium. Our shrimp cocktail never came and when the waitress brought our meals we told her to just cancel the appetizer (since it didn't come anyway). No apologies , not a blink of an eye, just said okay and walked away. His steak was well done not medium, and dry to boot. When she finally came to check on us, he politely told her that she could take it back as it was not what he ordered, again no apologies. Of course when she brought our check which they did comp for a large percentage of the steak, she then apologized for his meal, I feel at that time because she was trying to save her chance of a good tip. To me food is half of the food experience , service is the other half. They dropped the ball on both counts today. Oh and the front door constantly was left open when customers came or went and due to that we had 2 flys that bothered it the whole meal.
