What a perfect way to cap our vacation period. After a swim in the pool and a soap and a soap daunted over 2 18 86 to grab a bite, a flight of beer.Some drinks and delicious food. The service was awesome.The food was savory and delicious and and enjoyed the backdrop of the golf course and surrounding wasatch mountains.*talk to text failure. 1886 is the EPITOME of "what could have been". We visited 5 times the summer of 2023. The first experience was great!! The service was a little off but hey, opening year. Everything else - great. The Carolina white BBQ wings were delicious, pizza was great, cold beer, good cocktails, and an amazing outdoor setting with sports on TVs and surrounded by peaks. We never had a good experience again. We kept going back ... we REALLY wanted to love it (an outdoor spot where you can get a drink, eat, and bring kids?! Dream in Utah!) but after so many bad experiences we gave up. They can't figure out the service. It's awful every time and there doesn't appear to be management or anyone hands on training or working toward improvement. The food is WILDLY inconsistent and usually not good. Outside our one great meal everything following was AWFUL - we are talking burnt wings, cold pizza, uncooked fries, messed up ingredients, cocktails tasting straight out of a bottle of grocery store mix. I can't recommend this spot at all but I write this review in hopes that someone with management input or control might see it and aim for some improvements. If it was working ... it would be an amazing addition to Heber Valley. read more

Today May 24, 2024 is supposedly the grand opening. The service is good. Ordered the onion rings, they were good, nothing super special though. The pizza was good too, again nothing super special, and definitely not thin crust, but still tasty. The ambiance is casual, next to the golf pro shop. The service was great! However, we ordered the Nachos and would not recommend these to our worst enemy. Wow only word I have for them is nasty. Please look up the correct way to make nachos. Atmosphere was great and our server Mica made us forget the taste of the Nachos by being awesome! Maybe partner with the Cheese place and put a Charcuterie board on the menu to pair with wine. read more

Our server Mica rocked. best part about the smokehouse was Mica. The kitchen has not mastered fire yet, the meats were overcooked and dry, the corn was over cooked, the pizza was undercooked, the coleslaw was flavorless. Do they know how to cook meat? Brisket is a long and slow cooked cut of meat that should be tender and flavorful. Tri-tip should generally be medium rare and tender. I was excited to order both (and take the leftovers home) but was extremely disappointed! The brisket, while flavorful, was medium rare and tough (who cooked this?) and he tri-tip looked like burnt ends. When delivered, I thought the waitress misspoke about which was which, but others in por party of 6 who ordered the brisket for the same medium rate dish. I could not eat the tri-tip without bbq sauce. It was just too dry. The onion rings were good. My wife had a burger protein style and was disappointed at the small, overcooked patty. My guess is the cook confused the instructions and allow cooked the tri-tip for hours and cooked the brisket medium rare. I compliment the servers who were wonderful and attentive. I tipped standard because of this. But I can't get over the fact they don't know how to cook meat! As I never send back food, this review is my feedback. Also, we were meeting friends there and went to find the location early so as to not be late. After arriving at the location using Waze, it took us 15 minutes to find the restaurant. There were no signs directing us (it is behind the gold course pro shop) and surrounded by construction. If not for the service, I'd give the restaurant 1 star. read more

Came here for the first time. They were out of the pulled pork, tri tip and turkey. My husband and I decided to share a burger. However, it was pretty impossible to find the actual burger. We asked for fries and cole slaw. Instead of our server telling us that fries came with the burger, she brought us an extra order. We had to tell her to take back the extra order...that was not our intent. Wine was ridiculously expensive and small pours. Our server comped us each one glass of wine, however left the extra fries on. Had she not removed the two glasses of wine, the bill for one burger with a side of slaw and two glasses of wine each, would have been $100 before tip! Don't think I'd go back...sad. Hope the powers that be read the reviews and fix all issues. read more

We were very pleased with the food and ambiance here and will definitely be coming back (eventually, we don't live near by). It's an outside restaurant and they have heaters which makes it so cozy and fun although I do think if they plan to stay open much longer they'll definitely need more heaters as they are spaced out and it did get a little chili for an early October night. We got the nachos, pork, brisket, and a side of Mac and cheese. The brisket was ok, not the best but the pork and nachos were definitely a favorite and something I'd for sure recommend! The mac and cheese was also good but got cold fast since it was a little cold outside which we were bummed about. We also got the cheesecake and brownie with ice cream. Cheesecake was alright, I was a little disappointed and I didn't like the sauce on top but the brownie with ice cream was delicious! The brownie melted in your mouth and was one of the best brownies I've had. The pizza's looked amazing and I'd love to try one. Service was a little slow but it looked like they only had about 4 people working (I could be wrong, maybe they had more) so considering the amount of people working they actually did a great job. read more

The food, service, and ambiance are all very disappointing. For starters, No signage to location, placed in the middle of much construction ongoing until at least next year. Not enough servers or experienced staff. Uncleared tables. It had an odd but ok menu. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and it came with cooked broccoli. Awful. No other taste other than smelly, cooked broccoli. No inquiry to how we liked our meal. This is a Long way from being an enjoyable casual restaurant. read more

Food was a little pricey but good, smoked meats were tender but a little dry (needed BBQ sauce, but the sauce was great). Ambiance leaves much to be desired with the construction nearby, but once it's finished it should be a nice spot. A little hard to find though. Service was excellent. First time here, very friendly and attentive service, but no coordination in the kitchen. The food came in stages. The sliced brisket was over 50% fat and was served without bread. All plastic flatware, but no knives! Luckily one of us had a Swiss Army knife in the backpack to cut away the fat. The sliders were mostly coleslaw with hardly any meat on them. All four draft beers were flat. It was a beautiful day to sit on the spacious deck but the quality of food and drinks were subpar and have a long way to go if this place wants to stay in business, especially with those prices! read more

Absolutely the best place to have an after round drink or to grab a quick bite at the turn. We had 3 burgers and a few cocktails and they were the best you can get at a golf course in Utah, hands down. Anjie really knows how to take care of her customers. 10/10 will be back. read more

Came from Connecticut to visit family in Midway. Food was horrible. Chicken was over cooked . The brisket was very dry. The Reuben had two medallions of brisket not corned beef no cheese on the sandwich. The wine cost was outrageous . The pizza was good but not as hot as it could be. The waitress was attentive . Such potential there but I don't believe there is an experienced chef managing the food . No plans to return for a long time . read more

Ate there 6/21/2023, they were out of meat plates. Disappointing and not informed until we had placed a beer order. Switched order to a burger, it took way too long to come out. From order to reception was at least 33 minutes. Burger only had one quarter pound burger and not the two that were stated on the menu. Otherwise food was good. Overheard they were without a chef for a while maybe 20 plus minutes I'd guess. We did see lots chef type employees walking around, but apparently no effort to help out. That is poor training and management in the back end of the house. We witnessed other mistakes and slow performance from the kitchen. If playing golf at the turn they have nothing for a quick snack, it might be wise to add such items. Pricing is at a near luxury level ($8 per draft beer) but it does not seem luxurious as an experience. A coupe of employees did work hard wait and bar staff, friendly too. Nice ambiance. But it is not ready for prime time. read more
