Super friendly staff! Lovely white tablecloth atmosphere. And delicious food! The white wine mussels were a great starter. The broth was so good we soaked it up with the bread! The daily special beet salad featured goat cheese, candied pecans and large pickled beets. So good! My grilled salmon was a large portion and had a wonderful caper sauce. So sad since ownership changed quality has greatly went down hopefully they will realize and improve but we won't go back. Let me first say that the food here at Roberto's is so good! This might be the best Creme Brulee I've ever had. The pasta has big pieces of lobster. The appetizers were also great. Service was just ok unfortunately, we waited for a while before anyone showed up to take our order apparently the shifts changed or something. Server was fine and attentive. The ambiance was about a 5 but could be moved to a 10 if they replaced the white lights with warmer yellow. The lighting is the worst feature. Feels like being in a factory or office or something. We went to Roberto's last night, July 9th with friends of ours for a birthday dinner. We had a total of four people. We requested a quiet table which the hostess had acknowledged when we got there so she selected a table for us stating that it would be quiet. Only for 15 minutes into the meal, a table of eight were seated right behind us, including a baby. It became very loud and difficult to hear our conversations. Our waiter Steve was obviously new. He was extremely quiet hard to hear and very nervous and unconfident of himself had to look up several things and ask other people questions and got back with us. when we ordered our food and we received it, my friend had asked what was inside of her chicken dish and he did not know And had to go ask, and the answer still was very uncertain and did not look like what it should have according to the menu. The food itself was OK but really honestly nothing to rave about haven't been to the restaurant in years and we were excited about celebrating a special birthday and we were all very disappointed not only in the food, but the atmosphere and the quality of service we received. At this point, I would not recommend it again, unless the owners would like to call me and explain why we experienced what we experienced. Absolutely fantastic! This restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is incredible. I honestly think the chicken Alfredo is the best I have had. Reservations don't make a difference here. They would rather have a full dining room, than have a table waiting for you. The vinegar and olive oil decanter was filthy on the inside. Food was just ok for the price. I don't know if I'll go back. Waitress was nice and did a great job. Owner blames older people for having coffee after their meal for the waiting time. read more

Great experience at Roberto's! We visited for the first time for a birthday dinner on a Tuesday night and it wasn't super busy, which was great for us as a table of 6! The bread was delicious. One of us got the Greek salad which was great too. For mains, we got: - Filet Mignon with Peppercorn *this was slightly too chewy, cooked well but the cut of meat was so large that it made it chewy. - Chicken Parmigana *HUGE portion and very delicious! Perfect ratio of breading to chicken -Chicken Speidini *Not a huge fan of mushrooms so I did not get the mushroom topping, but it was delicious without. Great portion with a huge side of pasta. -Veal Saltimbocca *haven't had this in a bit and it was delicious! Perfectly done. Desserts: - Raspberry Cheesecake *delicious! To say the food here is amazing is an understatement. What really also sets Roberto's apart is the impeccable service. Case in point--when my daughter was six years old, she ordered "Mac & Cheese" which, of course, was not a menu item. However, our server said they would make it especially for her, but with shell pasta as they did not have elbow macaroni. And man, did they ever knock it out of the park! Celebrated our friends anniversary here as it is one of their favorite places. If you have never been to this place, you should know the outside doesn't match the inside. It's so easy to drive by without even noticing it bc it sits in the corner of a strip mall. But upon entering you see spotless white table cloths on tables and beautiful murals on the wall. They want to give a fine dining experience. The food is always delicious when I have eaten here and this night was no exception. I ordered one of the specials- scallops prepared scampi style accompanied by flash fried spinach. So so delicious. Scallops were done to perfection. My husband got Roberto's filet. Hugh filet and it was very good as well. All entree dishes come with a side dish so I also got roasted veggies. They too were cooked to perfection. They have many dessert options and our table opted for raspberry cheesecake, chocolate cake and gelato. You can go wrong with any of those! I will say the incredible cake sounded fabulous to me but I left the decision to others. The service here is also great. Our waitress and the bus boys were happy to help and checked in frequently. The prices here are a little higher so it may not be your weekly dining option but it is a good place for more special occasions or you just need a great dining experience. read more

We used to love this place but it's I'll run now when owners are gone. WE WALKED out and went to Chilis. We won't return. Lots of other Italian places with same menu. Such a shame. This place filled quickly and I can see why. Numerous specials and entrees to choose, excellent salad choices, and a nice selection of wines. Service was outstanding. Steven our server was cordial, knew the menu, answered questions and actually gave his craft the professionalism that it deserves. He directed his staff accordingly for bread, water and cleaning. It was impressive....like this is what going out and spending money is supposed to be like. Great staff and professionalism all around. Went to Roberto's for the first time recently. I was surprised at how many tables that were squeezed into this small restaurant. The "noise level" was not too bad for being so crowded. The service was great - the food was average at best for the prices they were charging. I thought the menu left a lot to be desired. The men's restroom urinal was leaking with a big water puddle on the floor. Would not recommend this restaurant. read more

Roberto's Trattoria & Chop House was an amazing, unsuspectingly enjoyable experience. I was given a gift card to a restaurant that I had never heard of but I'm always up for an adventure. It was situated in a strip mall and initially I did not have great thoughts because it looked very small from the outside and you couldn't see in. To my surprise when you walk in it opens up to a beautiful space that consisted of several sections that allow you to dine in different atmospheres such as the bar, high top tables, and another section that offers a fireplace. I had a seafood pasta that was delicious and my husband had the steak of course both were delicious but the showstopper was the spinach. The spinach was flash fried (I didn't even know that could be done) it was light and crispy but not oily or heavy. It was a Friday night and our server was super busy but he somehow was able to maintain. We ordered a few drinks but there is not a cocktail menu. They do have a full bar, but be specific so they can accommodate you. We also met the husband and wife duo that are part of the ownership team they were absolutely delightful and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. What mediocre experience. Went out for my mom's birthday and just wanted to have fun and enjoy a night of drinks and good food, but that didn't happen. Every moment was rushed.."are you ready to order", "can I take your plate"..before we could even take a bite, someone was trying to grab our drinks or our food out from in front of us! We ordered the steak special with lobster and crab..we got a steak that was 70% fat and leftover can sea food. With instant potatoes. All I know is I will never pay $70 for instant potatoes. The food was delicious and our server was great. It was our anniversary and almost always restaurants give you a dessert to celebrate an occasion. It wasn't offered but we asked as we were eyeing the "Incredible Cake". Our server said he could offer the complimentary $9 gelato but not the $11 cake. My husband was surprised and said really? Over $2? Our server said he would ask the owner, Jami. When he came back , he said he could not offer the cake, but she would throw in some lemon cello with the gelato. Seriously it became the principle of the thing and we said "no thank you, we'll take the check". Our server came back with a piece of the incredible cake which he bought himself for us because he felt bad. it's a shame that the new owners, who have had the restaurant for about three years now, would turn a wonderful evening into a distasteful experience by not making one small gesture.
