It's been 5 years and we've had plenty of people up in our attic since Rodent Masters completed our job and any time someone goes up there, I beg them to check and double check to ensure there are no rodent droppings. During this time, we have not heard a peep in the attic which is a complete 180 from what we were hearing before - it always sounded like the rats were having a party up there in the middle of the night. The process took about a month from start to finnish because the first thing they do is cover and patch all holes or entrances up so that nothing can get in (or out) and not just outside of the house but inside the attic and inside every single area from within the house. It's a LOT of work but they did it very well. Then, they came back and, in our case, because things were so bad, they sucked out all of the insulation and then reinsulated the entire attic with much higher quality material than what had been removed. Then they came back on final time to ensure there was no activity. So, I have no reason not to continue recommending Rodent Masters and I have for the last 5 years. I do think I will contact them soon though just to have someone do a walk around to ensure there are no new holes that have developed since they were last here. I have been a client of this business for more than a year. They have done a wonderful job of…read morekeeping ants away and with the monthly fee I pay, they do come by and do maintenance which has been effective. More recently, I ran into a rodent issue. The technician came and left a trap which as far as I can tell has been very infective. Given that I called to schedule an inspection. The time I was give my the coordinator was not conveyed to the technician as I waited 1/2 a day for him to contact me. It took 5 calls to the company to get a callback over a VOIP connection that was barely intelligible. The coordinator was able to get me in touch with the technician whose window for my appointment was 12 hours (as opposed to the 4 hour window I was given. While the scheduled services work well... communication (at last as of late) is sorely lacking and difficult. I would proceed with caution and am considering taking my business elsewhere as a result of this interaction. ADDENDUM: within an hour of placing this, the technician, Leon arrived. He provided a careful review of the situation and prepared a very reasonable plan to handle the issue. Customer service also called and apologized and acknowledged the error. It was good to see that the company was very responsive given what happened. They did right by me and I will continue my business with them.

When I inspected it closer I saw these grotesque little things moving around inside the hole. I thought immediately, termites! Even though I had never seen a termite before, and then after verifying it online, I immediately began to stress out regarding the cost. Termike Pest Control had very favorable reviews on Yelp. They responded to my inquiry pretty quickly, so I scheduled an appointment for an inspection. The owner of the company, Mike, came out to do the inspection... the same day I called! He immediately identified that we had subterranean termites. He worked with my budget, was very pleasant, and assured me that I could use a payment plan to pay off my amount. I was sold. The process was very simple, he sent me the contract, he even amended it to show a few things that I wanted in writing. No questions asked. We scheduled crew to come out about a week and a half after the contract was signed. They sent an incredible technician, Max. He was knowledgeable, extremely pleasant, extremely honest, answered every single question that my wife and I had, and went above and beyond! He assured us of the effectiveness of the process, and similarly did everything to relax our nerves with these disgusting little creatures. We were extremely, extremely pleased to have him as our technician! I highly recommend this company!

Today, after I posted my original review, they called me from a number that is not associated with their business online and is marked as spam, so I didn't pick up the first time. I did pick up the second time. I asked them to respond to my emails instead of calling so there would be a written record. They claimed they never received any emails from me, until I sent them screenshots of the emails I previously sent. All screenshots of emails and calls are included below. Regarding the service: When Termike previously worked on our home, they did excellent rodent proofing and were very thorough and tidy. This most recent visit was the opposite. The new technician spray-foamed into our mesh crawlspace vent rather than patching with hardware cloth (as Termike had done in the past). The undersink work was sloppy and left gaps and sharp edges. The tech damaged our plumbing and left us with a leak. We ultimately hired folks to fix the plumbing and to redo everything, at additional cost. During the visit, the technician repeatedly argued with me about the work and insisted I was mistaken about Termike's previous methods. When I continued asking questions, he became increasingly dismissive. This arose because I asked why he would spray foam a hole in a mesh vent rather than patch it with mesh, like they did before. My husband had to ask him to leave because the discussion was going nowhere and his work was not satisfactory, not to mention the broken plumbing. Termike has repeatedly invoiced me for $400 while not responding to any of my emails until after I posted this review. The company's response here claims I used "derogatory language" and "threatened negative reviews," which is not true. I have provided screenshots of all communication and there is no such threat or language in any of them. I posted this review only after being ignored for a month. I post negative reviews about companies when it is appropriate. I also post positive reviews. I try to be honest and accurate. It is disappointing that a company we previously had a good experience with handled this situation in this way.

He was very knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He showed me everywhere that he would seal for rodent proofing. His pricing was exactly where I would put it. He was able to fit me in in a week and on the day of the job he had 4 guys; 2 of which were family members. They were all very professional and worked very quickly and well. I had a lot of wires and lines running in the attic and was worried some of them would get damaged (I know my fault and they should have been tacked up to begin with) but they worked around them and nothing was damaged. I was also worried about my roof since it was just done with lightweight concrete but no tiles were broken. They setup portable walls that were sealed with contractors plastic sheeting so any dust/contaminants were sealed away and directed at a HEPA filter. They finished the 1300 sqft attic and also the garage attic in about 6 hours and it looked perfect. I was very impressed. They even removed about 50ft of old HVAC piping from the garage attic (when they probably could have left it). I feel like it's very hard to find contractors along with their team that truly take pride in their work in this day in age but Leo and his team are the exception. It helps that it is a family owned and run business which mean they really care about their clients and also the work done. I will be recommending Leo Home Solutions to anyone that needs similar work done!
