Was recommended by Auto Excel who is my tire insurance company after I discovered a screw in my tire and then realized over 1/2 my tire had damage do to all the road construction in New York City. . I called to ask if they had a tire in stock that needed replacing. It's not easy to get as it's a Pirelli Scorpion 275/40 R22 and they were on a National back order. I spoke with John several times and he was able to locate one in Connecticut and had it shipped to him for the next day. I called to confirm it was received and I drove right over. The whole process took about 90 minutes. John was on point and kept me informed throughout the process. They were fairly busy, had return customers mixed with new, and people I know that live in the area said they have a good reputation. This did not cost me anything although their posted prices for inspection, estimates, tire rotation, a/c service all seemed fair. They appear to have a good selection of tires and informed and showed everyone what was needed if a repair or replacement was required. I would recommend them based on my experience. They have the MOST UNSCRUPULOUS business practices. Got a bill of over $3000 for a tire replacement, alignment and a claim of repaired the bushings. After 3 months the noise reappeared and now have to pay again elsewhere. Will not ever recommend this place. read more

This auto center is the biggest rip-off shop I have encountered -- EVER!!! I took my car in for inspection, and was issued a bill for $984 to get it to pass. Since the repairs are always astronomical, I finally wizened up and took the car elsewhere - only to have it pass with no problem. The same thing happened to a friend - only her bill was $1,500! Hers also passed elsewhere with no problem. I have since warned a number of people to stay away. I consider this a mitzvah. Don't be fooled by their yalmulkas. And the sefarim and tehillim that is evident. They are the BIGGEST CROOKS, and should be closed down. It's a shame that Jews who masquerade as religious give us Jews a bad name. Their negative reputation is widely known. I have since heard from multiple sources regarding their shenanigans. Their low ratings are there for a reason. I went there for a diagnostic test to determine why the engine icon on my dashboard was lit. After 15 minutes, they came up with a list of 10 items that needed repair, with a $2860.90 bill! I had had my car completely serviced 2 months ago in another auto repair shop and have hardly driven the car since. And, it is parked in a heated garage. I refused to let them do any of the repairs they said the car needed. The bill for the 15 minute test was $87.05! Another egregious thing about this place is that there were 5 people in the tiny space where the counter is, and the managers and employees were not wearing masks! When I inquired why, the manager said they didn't have to because they were vaccinated. I don't believe that is the protocol. I guess they are either not aware of break through infections or they are "anti-vazers". read more

This is my go to spot for my yearly NYS Inspection. Its close to my house and within a walking distance of a park which means I can take the car in while taking my kids out also! This was the first year that I got other services at this location. Changed oil and some filters, and our tires (they have been gently recommending that I change these for the past two years and they finally hit a point of must get done or no inspection sticker). The gentlemen here are always nothing but nice, they always offer a good deal. The services they preformed on my car were done in 30-45 min which is a huge plus! As a female customer I dont feel pressured to buy extra things, or taken advantage of. So far so good keep it up! read more

Just to piggy bag on my previous low review to 2 and 1 Tire Auto. I had taken my car to a new mechanic in order to get an inspection. This was my first inspection with a new mechanic in the last 10 years. Before going to this mechanic, my previous experience 5 months ago with 2 and 1 Tire Auto was that they informed me that I needed new brake pads, new tires, and other work. I just found out how the car inspection system works. They hook you up to a machine and the machine tells you how many code violations you have which stops you from passing the inspection. After the inspection came back I found out I had one code violation and it was due to the work of 2 and 1 Tire Auto. The machine never mentioned "Brake Pads and Tire work as 2 and 1 Tire Auto mentioned before. In addition, my new Mechanic told me that 2 and 1 Tire had ruptured a hose connecting to my engine which was making a very loud noise because of it. He offered to fix the issue without me buying a new hose. I had paid considerably low for the completed work and didn't feel like my car was hostage for this inspection work as it was at 2 and 1 Tire Auto. Again I have no reason to bad mouth businesses as my Yelp Rating History talks for itself. As for Thomas' 5 Star reviews, I would be very weary of his reviews as his views seem a bit skewed and in my opinion I believe he might have some type of connection to the management at 2 and 1 Tire Auto since he has 3 separate 5 Star reviews. I would take his reviews with a grain of salt. If you decide to take your car to 2 and 1 Tire Auto I wish you all the luck. We all have the freedom of choice to make decisions in this country. This is awful establishment. The boss bruce koren and the men that work with him are utterly rude and disrespectful. They completely overcharged me and treated me with like I owed them something. They changed my oil for like 70$ without me asking for it and made a bunch of unauthorized charges. They tried to justify it but when I got other quotes for the job i needed done it was 400$ more at this place than 3 other shops in the are. These people are scammers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE unless you want to get robbed. This should be brought to justice. Better yet just don't come here. read more

Ripoff place. Charged me $180 for oil change, tire rotation and inspection. Then added $100 for change of air filter and wiper blades. Said I MUST change synthetic oil every 3-6 months (Toyota says every year) Friend took car there, they said she needed new run-flat tires at $400 each. She said the car is coming off lease, can't spend that much but MUST have run-flats. We'll put on used tires at $100 each. They put on regular tires instead and were rejected when she turned in the car. She took the car back to 2 in 1 and they tried to charge her more. She INSISTED that they honor the deal they made and they finally did. Does ANYONE like being lied to? read more

Once again the team at 2 in 1 came to my rescue. This team consists of Jonathan, Bruce, Paul, and Albert at the customer service desk, all of whom are expert technicians. They are supported by an expert crew who do much of the actual repair work under the supervision of the team. This time I brought my car in to 2 in 1 because two of its tires had gone completely flat while I was away on vacation. The crew examined all the tires and replaced all the valves. Jonathan consulted with the support crew and then advised me to stop using metal valve caps and to use only plastic ones in future because the metal ones were damaging the valves. I had used metal caps because they were of the kind that prevented mischievous cap removal and tire deflation unless one had the required cap removal device, so it was ironic that my attempt to prevent tire deflation resulted in damage to my tire valves followed by my tires' becoming deflated. But that is only half the story. I drove my car about a block out of the 2 in 1 garage and saw that the brakes were not working properly, which was potentially a very dangerous situation. I immediately drove back to 2 in 1 and told the team at the service desk what had just happened. All four members of the team realized the urgency of the situation. They immediately hoisted up my car and observed and pointed out to me all the problems with the brake system. With my approval, they overhauled the entire system. Likewise with my approval they did other repairs as well, with the result that my car's steering is much smoother than it was before. All the members of this team, as well as their support crew, are knowledgeable and skillful and conscientious. read more

The worse experience ever. I was foolishly lured to using them by a fellow who smashed into my car and promised to share in the repair costs if I will not call the police. He prevailed on me to take my car to them, his good friends. They came up with humongous repair estimates. When, as you may predicted, the fellow smashing my car reneged on his words, I called my insurance company. However, when I came to pick up my car, they refused to release it, unless I pay storage, space and administrative fees in the amount of over $300 for one night stay. When I shockingly protested- as the they agreed to do so free of charge the day before- they said this was before you called the insurance. They were exceedingly rude, both the father and son. The DMV's Consumer affair Department forced them to refund me and are bringing them up on charges including fraud. BEWARE read more

You fixed a leak in my 1994 Quest, I was one of Albert's rabbi's, just so you should know who this is. My car has not ridden so well as now, for at least 7 years. Now it starts right up in the mornings, the heat is warm within 5 minutes, and of course it doesn't leak any more. You were the first guys to think of flushing out all the water which unclogged the backed up brown water. No one else figured that out for the last few years. If you like to get ripped of this is the right place on 2/10/2019 I drove to this place with my 2016 Cadilac Escalade with only 34000 mile and complain about a whistling noise from the front wheel I requested to do a wheel alignment after 15 minutes Bruce sun came out to me and asked me what make you think you need a wheel alignment? I told him that I'm hearing a whistling noise from the front wheel and the car have 34,000 mile and I never did a wheel alignment is answer was to me you almost right you need a 4 new tires and then we can do a wheel alignment after a moment of silence my answer was no way immediately it drop down to two new tires with the total cost of $821 and change however I request a test driver with mechanic just to make sure that is no other problem with the car the mechanic told me after 3 minutes of drive the mechanic determine that I need a wheel bearing which this is mechanic job and my car is still under warranty we came back to the shop with the mechanic decision Bruce's son was still sticking to his point that they need at least two new tires regardless The man look honesty to me so I pay the full amount deposit for the new tire he told me since he didn't have those tires in stock and he have to order them I left the place and I drove it direct to the dealer to repair the wheel bearing the dealer indeed replace right side wheel bearing and resolved my noise problem I also asked the dealer to check the tires and the alignment if I need anything else in the car The dealer indeed check the all 4 tire and adjust the air pressure for the all four tires to 35 pound as the manual suggestion and also told me that my tire is good at least until the next winter and no need to change the tire now I am immediately call the tile shop and request to cancel the order of the tire one of his worker answer the phone and told me that is boss is not in and I should come to the store to cancel and arrange refund to my credit card the next morning I call again to cancel and drove to the shop regardless Bruce son explained to me that I will have to pay the credit card fee which I agreed to pay him 3% I however this was not enough for him and I end up being charge for $157 and change I will dispute this amount and also take them to small claims court in a meantime don't BE the NEXT VICTIM !!!!!!!! When I came to pick up my car there was a guy literally sitting on my car...SITTING ON IT!! Another fat guy was leaning on it. They charged me way more money than they should have. Despite the fact that they were originally rude and they were sitting on my car, I was still polite to them. However, when I left 2 of the guys decided to start mocking my appearance by yelling obscenities at me and I was a paying customer. Had a really horrible experience with this place. I had an emergency where I needed to replace a tire and brought my car in because they were closer than the place I usually go. The actual charge for the tire was not bad, but they did a lot of other work, which I didn't ask for and charged a ridiculous amount for replacing wiper blades and changing the oil. I am really surprised by the negative reviews. I've been bringing my cars here since they used to be Irving Tire. Most recently, they were the only machanics to ever service my 16 year old Acura and it's still running beautifully. I found them to be always competent and honest. They never did anything to my car without asking first. I had a number of situations when they could have charged anything they wanted because I had no idea what was causing the problem and it turned out to be very inexpensive. There were times when there were expensive or inexpensive solutions and they explained all options to me and let me make knowledgeable choices. They have always been respectful and polite to me and to the other people waiting for cars. It's hard to believe some of the accusations actually happened at the same place I've been going to all these years. read more

the best experience for personalized fast service. I have used them for over 10 years and they always go the extra mile in making sure my issues are resolved quickly and with the least amount of effort on my part. just this weekend I hit a pot hole on sunday, BMW run flat tires - uchh! I drove to their lot, parked my car and left it on Sunday. by Monday morning it was repair with 1 phone call to them and they even offered to pick up the keys from my house! BMW assist wanted to tow my vehicle, hold it overnight, deliver it Monday to the BMW dealer in the city where it would have taken until a minimum of Tuesday night to fix and then I would have had to leave work early to pick it up. With Irving Tire I did absolutely nothing but give them a phone call and a CC and they did the rest! love them!!! read more
