The restaurant is on the 2nd floor with ground entrance facing village stroll. There's elevator access at the back of the building but I was told it's hard to find. The restaurant has a casual dining environment but the food is comparable to or even better that upscale restaurant. For 3 of us (2 adults and 1 kid), we had: Stuffed pork ~$26 deep fried slim pork stuffed with ham and cheese with cream sauce and mash potato. The pork is perfectly done- crispy outside, soft and juicy inside! The sauce is rich and given a nice creamy flavor to the pork without making it greasy. Short rib $27 - soft and well done! Delicious! Spaghetti with meat sauce from Kids menu $11. I would say it large enough to feed an adult. Taste is good and I like that they didn't over boiled the spaghetti so it's kinda chewy. Salmon cake - $15 I think. Its a little below expectation. A little too dry. Service is awesome. The waiter at the door even helped to carry my stroller up! I had the summer salad and braised short ribs and my husband had the 21 salad and pork chops. We could barely talk to one another we were too busy eating enjoying the meal. It was plenty of food and everything had its own unique flavor. My kids had their own dish and it was also plenty. I was SO excited to eat here, after I saw fried goat cheese on the menu I was sold and immediately made a rez. However, I am really unsure how this place has such good reviews because our food ranged from okay to really, really bad. Good: -Service, they fit us in early and were very nice. Comped one of our Filets (read more below). Meh: - Fried goat cheese wasn't worth it. You get 3 small balls, honey, bread and caramelized onions. Regular goat cheese would have been better, but the onions were a nice touch. This would be a good dish for someone who doesn't like goat cheese - it didn't have the strong goat cheese flavor. -Garlic Chili Prawns, these were fine but you get 4, maybe 5 for $14.50. Not worth the price tag. Ugly: -Oh the bacon wrapped Filet Mignon. Please don't order this. We both ordered them to be cooked medium. One came out mooing so we sent it back, the other was fine. There are 2 options, peppercorn and chipotle. We both ordered chipotle, though the Filets both had the strongest taste of peppercorn that lingered in the mouth....which we did not order. We spoke with the server and she took the mooing Filet Mignon back to the kitchen. When it came back out it was burnt on the outside and still not cooked on the inside. The server then comped one Filet and gave us free ice wine and dessert on the house. We got the apple crumble with ice cream which was tasty. So glad we were able to dine here! Located in the heart of whistler village this place is a must check out. You have to make reservations this place is popular and you could be waiting forever to be seated. Ambience is awesome, friendly staff and mouth watering food. We had the option of selecting from a pre-fix 4 course meals which had alot of choices. We all decided to go ahead with that. We had entree's- salmon cakes which was blend, oysters and fried chicken. For our mains we ordered lamb which was tasty and flavorful, salmon and Rick fish. You can add sides so we decided on rice and mash potatoes. Everything we ate we enjoyed. We had few bottle of wine that we took and paid a $30 corkage fee. Now the best part of the evening was dessert, flourless cake, pies and their local ice cream, every hit the spot. I had made reservations in advance as this restaurant was recommended by family. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered a $40 three course meal once we arrived at the restaurant. We ended up each ordering the three course meal. The mussels were tasty and good for sharing. The bread soaked up the tasty Thai curry sauce well. The salmon cake was nicely made. It was not dry. Entree portion size was huge. I only managed to finish half the stuffed pork schnitzel. The ham, arugula, apple and cheese blend made it interesting for a filling. The mashed potatoes and veggies paired well with the pork. The creme brûlée finished off the meal. I enjoyed the sweet custard and caramelized sugar top. I took a bite of the cheesecake. It was the whipped variety and the blueberry compote was not too sweet. My date liked the cheesecake as he is a cheesecake fan. Our server was friendly and attentive. She made recommendations for the red Thai curry mussels and cheesecake when we asked what was popular. Her recommendations did not disappoint. Our appetizers arrived fairly quickly, but our mains took awhile. Our server apologized and checked with the kitchen after she noticed it was taking awhile. I appreciated her taking the effort to keep track. She checked in with us to ask if we were ready for dessert and packed my leftover entree. I would visit this restaurant again when I return to Whistler for another weekend trip. The service was great despite the restaurant being super busy. Food was fantastic. It was an actual 21 steps to reach deliciousness. Well, we took an extra 18 and ate in the Attic, their upstairs lounge, which was actually really great as I found it nice and cozy up there. The food was really tasty. We started out with the kale salad which was light and refreshing and hit all the right notes with crunchy, sweet, tart, bright, etc. Then we split two large plates, the BC Bowl which was filled with yummy smoked salmon, a dill cream sauce and fresh peas, and also the Ribeye which was by far one of the most yummy steaks I've had. The cajun butter it's cooked with really adds a level of oomph to the dish. It came recommended to us by our server who also indicated medium is best cook on it. Trust me, I'm a medium rare steak gal, but he assured me to go medium on this one. Really really delicious. Our server was awesome. Very attentive yet not overbearing. He was conversational, welcoming, informative, and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. I knew whatever he was suggesting he was pointing us in the right direction. I would highly recommend this spot to those visiting Whistler. Reminds me of great places I love in NYC. Would go back on the regular if I was from here. We came here on New Year's Eve just for some drinks. We decided to sit at the bar, which had no wait. There were some larger groups waiting for tables though. Once we were seated they took our order quickly. The only food that we ordered was edamame, which lacked salt seasoning. Their drinks came quickly and they had a full bar. I have nothing much negative to say about their service. Next time I will definitely try their food to see how it is. Note that in order to get to their restaurant upstairs you need to climb stairs. I'm not sure if it is ADA accessible because I didn't see an elevator. Definitely something to take into consideration if you are unable to climb a flight of stairs. Me and my sister came her during our girls trip to Whistler. We both enjoyed the citrus kale salad. I deeply regret deleting my photo of my steak. I chose the New York Strip-loin and it was by far the most flavourful and perfectly cooked steak I've ever had in my life! The tarragon butter took it to the next level. I am lactose-intolerant (but can withstand a certain amount of dairy abuse). They were more than happy to put the raspberry sorbet on top of the warm brownie and at no extra cost!
