We called several emergency water restoration companies, but Green Planet Restoration was the only one able send someone out to access our situation that day. David, our field supervisor, thoroughly inspected the damage and gave us an honest and careful outlook about the restoration process. Optimistically planning on insurance coverage, but realistically expecting denial, he made sure that all work and costs were approved by us before and throughout the insurance process. Thankfully we ended up being covered, and David helped negotiate on our behalf. Olman, our project manager, was attentive and communicative. He kept us up to date with all the work and progress, and helped us coordinate with the workers we had coming and going for several weeks. The crew working on the house was excellent, too! Giovanni walked us through the work, and helped us when we wanted to make adjustments. We made some pretty drastic changes to our spaces, installing LVP in both rooms and painting the wall and ceiling a dark color in one of them. These big upgrades were easily handled. At no point did we ever feel like we were left hanging or out of the loop. Even throughout the payment process, with several hiccups with our insurance checks, they were kind, patient, and understanding. Our project involved rerouting our power service, replacing our roofing system with standing seam metal and installing solar panels, all on a tight timeline. Their "meticulous roofing nerd" examined the existing conditions, was very thorough in scoping the roofing aspect of the project and constructed the quote with us item by item. The roofing work took an unexpected turn, but the crew worked hard to keep the project on schedule. Ultimately, the entire project went well. Quality of construction is vitally important with roof systems, and while the work cost a bit more than we had anticipated in the end, we are very confident in the end product and very happy with the value we received. Con's - This is a fairly shiesty corner of the home maintenance world. Many providers seem to give you a low-ball estimate to get in the door and then upsell significantly. - Envirosmart is not an exception. - The initial quote was $200. This included scoping the ducts and doing the negative pressure clean-out. - Onsite, they then upsold me to $670 for a more thorough brushing of the vents, sanitation, and some other ancillary services. - They were only modestly well-organized. They called the day-of to reschedule because of a conflict with internal training. They also confirmed a different time than I had originally scheduled. It was the difference of a 9 to 11am original window and a 2:30-3pm arrival. - The Yelp Project communication could have been clearer. They did not specify whether they were calling to quote me or coming to do the service! Amid all this and with some clarification and flexibility on our part, we worked it out. I would have appreciated either a discount or additional service for the delay. None was proffered. I did not go ahead with the upsell as I had already gotten quotes for less from other providers with somewhat more transparent pricing. I think the work they did appeared fine. See attached pics. Your guess is as good as mine which are before and which are after! They did not specify when they sent them to me and email took off the timestamp. I'm hoping the cleaner ones. We also had a huge issue with backsplash and it took several attempts to fix it and I am still not 100% happy with how the backsplash came out but we needed to move-in ASAP and settled for an okay job. Lastly, when going through inspection, I noticed paint was stained on our carpet and brand new counters and it was a pain to remove the paint. Overall, I'm giving 3 stars especially because after several attempts to contact them, they have stopped responding even though they said they would come fix their mistakes with the gaps in the floor. In total I paid $2000 for them to break my irrigation system and have 1/2 my yard die. I had another company who dug up the backflow valve and showed that rainpros disconnected half my irrigation system and were clearly responsible. Now I am waiting on Tim Buiten to grow a spine take fault, instead of just my money. Don't let this shady company take your money. I would also recommend stearing clear of all of Tim's companies: Tim's complete landscaping management and rain pros.
