I like to wait a few weeks before I review nail salons because the quality always reveals itself in the time that passes and I'm impressed, my acrylic nails with gel x that I got over two weeks ago have grown out and are still going strong! There's no discoloration, no chipping in the gel, no lifting at the cuticle, and more importantly, all still intact like I just got them done! Ladies, we all know how annoying it is when your natural nails start to grow out and your hair gets caught underneath the acrylic nails in the shower- But not 2Q! I'm so happy with the quality! Kevin is very friendly & runs the business well! I can't wait to come back :)

I have been coming here for almost two years and always take the opportunity to rave about them. Mary is my go-to nail tech. I always go to her for fills and designs. Her technique was great when I first met her and she has only gotten better! Her and Kevin are amazing at what they do. They're so friendly and take the time to get to know their customers and have great prices. It's cheaper if you bring cash because there's a little fee when you pay with a card. The inside is always clean and decorated for the holidays, too. Before coming to 2Q, I went to so many places in the area and nothing has beat the customer service and quality of this place. I recently went in to get a pedicure and I had asked for a deluxe pedicure with gel french tips in light blue with blueberry theme. I will insert an image of my reference picture below. I sat down in the chair and I noticed that the techs appeared to be reusing gloves (i am only saying this because they were inside out and they were turning them the correct way prior to putting them on). That made me a bit nervous but I trusted that they would do their best to keep their clients safe. My pedicure started and then I overheard the manager talking about their "hard gel" services and I really wanted to try it out at their salon because I've done hard gel at other salons previously and I loved it. So I had asked if I could add on a hard gel manicure. I was very excited because I was going to have a fresh set for my best friend's baby shower later that afternoon. I had spent a long time growing out my nails which has been a very difficult and tedious process for me. I have also spent a great deal of time taking care of my toe nails so that they do not get too long or ingrown. I hadn't touched my toe nails or finger nails in about a month in anticipation of getting a new set professionally done, so I wanted to be sure there was a good foundation. My pedicure was going well when my manicure was started simultaneously. I previously had hard gel on my nails and the tech placed the soak off with acetone and tried taking it off almost immediately and drilling down the gel in between and placing the cotton with acetone on the nail beds, causing my nails to burn and become sensitive and super thin after I worked so hard to grow them out (which has never happened to me during a salon manicure). This made me very sad and I let the tech know but she proceeded to drill instead of just waiting a few more minutes for the gel to soften. When it came to the filing, I had to keep asking for corrections throughout the entire process and I felt terrible because I am normally never one to complain but the mistakes were excessive. My nails were extremely uneven and I brought this to her attention and she said that it had already been "taking too long" which confused me because I thought I was paying for the service so I would have liked to not be rushed. She did not end up fixing the shape and the designs were half assed. :( They charged $10 extra for french tip and $2 for each design but I definitely do not think this was worth an extra $12, I used to do my own nails and I rarely ever go to salons so I was excited to treat myself. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed in the service. I had to ask for several corrections throughout the manicure and at one point I just got tired of pointing things out and having nothing done about it. When it came to the hard gel application, I was waiting for it to happen and it did not. The tech was just applying layers and layers and layers of this clear gel coat and then proceeded to paint over it, which is definitely not hard gel. The tech also began to rush toward the middle of the service when everyone else went on what seemed to be a lunch break, and she cut one of my fingers really bad and it's still in immense pain 3 days later. I also ended up getting THREE toe nail infections from the pedicure. I did not have any pain or ingrown toe nails before this pedicure and 3 days later it hurts to even put on my shoes for work, and I'm a nurse, so I walk around A LOT and require close-toed shoes. At the end of the service, I ended up showing the manager the cut on my finger and he sprayed it with alcohol to "clean" it and sent me on my way. He even closely examined the nails and said they were "cute" but I feel like he saw that they were bad and just didn't want to say anything. I felt guilty asking for a discount but I don't think I should have had to. All in all I was not going to complain but considering the infections, the cut on my finger, and the fact that I walked in with enough length and thickness for my original design that I requested, i'm very disappointed with this salon, its cleanliness, and the tech's willingness to make corrections that I am paying hard-earned money for. I literally walked out and started crying because I had no words but i'm not sure why I felt so guilty speaking up for myself since I was charged $120 for this. Anyway, I REALLYYY hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. it literally ruined my whole day :( update: it is now 4 days later and there is now PUSS leaking out from how infected my toe got i am in so much pain side note: i appreciate the offer from the owner but i went to the doctor because of how much pain i was in and they put me on an anti fungal cream and said I shouldn't get another pedicure for at least two months until this heals :( even then i'm afraid to go back and im sure it's too late for a refund.

As much as I loved this place, when I got the nail powder dip it was great. I went there for 3 times at least and got the dip powder. The 4th time the owner suggested I get gel to last even longer but they lasted one week when I was getting the dip they lasted for at least 2 weeks and my nails grew.

I've been going to 2q nails for 2 years and Mary never disappoints me the best nail tech ever and Kevin is always polite and I always feel welcome they know how to take care of their customers percent happy every time I leave from there . Mary did a set on me and looks fabulous.

I've only been here twice so far as I'm newer to the area, but I'm so glad I stumbled on their salon. They're super nice when I walk in and are extremely patient when the salon gets super busy. Had a wonderful experience at this nail salon. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive! This nail salon is under new ownership. The new ownership has really improved this business. You can definitely tell by the way they care for their customers. I normally don't get my nails done, usually only pedicure. But I decided to get my nails done for a wedding and was highly impressed with the extreme attention to detail for my nail designs! So I went into 2q nails salon for a pedicure and there was a sign that it was under new ownership so I still went in and I have to say I love the new atmosphere. All the nail technicians were nice and welcoming. The owner Kevin was really nice and actually took time to talk to the clients and get to know them on a personal level. This place is not sanitary, stay far away. Found this salon via google search and due to the 4.9/5 stars, decided to try them out. Those reviews can't possibly be genuine, or those people must've been offered a promotional price for their 5 star review because this place is absolute trash. First of all I went in only wanting a gel pedicure, the owner pressured me into adding manicure service which was beyond mediocre! Made them take that horrendous paint job off immediately!! And what ever rag they used to wipe my hands smelled of mildew My fingers are literally full of bumps and completely itchy, DON'T come here! Those reviews are not genuine because this place is one of the worst salons I've ever been to!!! read more

I came across 2Q Nail Spa when I was around the neighborhood and decided to stop by the shop. I got the classic mink which I absolutely love. It looks so natural and feels very light, it's almost as if I'm not wearing any extensions. Ann did an absolutely amazing job, making sure I felt comfortable the entire time.The shop is now under new management, and Kieu the new manager is so welcoming and friendly. The shop looks very clean and fancy as they use glamcor lights! They were very attentive to my requests, I couldn't be happier with the result! My friend and I popped in for a pedicure a few nights ago and had a wonderful time! Our pedicures were very relaxing and we got a nice opportunity to chat with the owner, Kevin who was very kind. Its so apparent he is passionate about his business and that he wants to ensure all of his emoloyees live up to the same standard. Its so refreshing to see. I cant wait until after my trips to come back and get a set of acrylic nails done here! They are gentle and take their time and have so many options to choose from for nail colors and little accessories for the nails too. I've only gotten my nails done (acrylics, fills etc) a few times in my life but recently decided to get them done. I tried a few places out but was less than thrilled. I went thru several Yelp reviews and found 2q. Kevin has only owned this place since May and is working very hard to build a good reputation and it shows. Mary did mine the first time and did a great job. Today, Kevin did them and not only did he do a great job but he is efficient. We had very good conversation. Kevin & Mary did an excellent job on my manicure and pedicure! They recently took over the business and made sure I felt comfortable as soon as I got there. Kevin explained the prices (which are very reasonable) and Mary assured I was happy with my manicure. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for people that are friendly and charge a reasonable amount for their services! Oh and for my pedicure Kevin made sure to press some of the pressure points on my feet with a wooden tool and it was amazing! My feet felt so relaxed afterwards! Mary is the best! I love doing designs that I may come across and whenever I ask Mary to do those designs, she never fails! I will continue to come to Mary for my nails. She takes her time and is always considerate of how you are and if the nails are to your liking (which they always are when she does them). Definitely must go to her for cute nails and designs. Have been getting my nails done by Mary for a bout a year now, followed her from her old nail salon and honestly don't trust anyone else as much as her. I always come in with a design and she never disappoints. The salon has itself is very clean and organized, everyone is very welcoming making sure your experience is as comfortable as possible. read more

The people here are so welcoming and lovely. I really appreciate all the hospitality of the people here. I am passionate about my job. I love the fact that we can walk there every summer we come we go there and get our pedicures my daughter and I. I recently got my eyelash extensions with Chanel she is amazing she walked me through the entire process step by step since it was my first time I was bit nervous but she definitely made me feel so comfortable and made me feel good about the decision i had made. After leaving last weekend i broke a nail But once i called Kevin and let him know he got me in as quick as possible, fixed it at no charge checked the others to make sure it wouldn't happen again and even spent his time on changing the color to my liking.
