I like to wait a few weeks before I review nail salons because the quality always reveals itself in the time that passes and I'm impressed, my acrylic nails with gel x that I got over two weeks ago have grown out and are still going strong! There's no discoloration, no chipping in the gel, no lifting at the cuticle, and more importantly, all still intact like I just got them done! Ladies, we all know how annoying it is when your natural nails start to grow out and your hair gets caught underneath the acrylic nails in the shower- But not 2Q! I'm so happy with the quality! Kevin is very friendly & runs the business well! I can't wait to come back :)

I have been coming here for almost two years and always take the opportunity to rave about them. Mary is my go-to nail tech. I always go to her for fills and designs. Her technique was great when I first met her and she has only gotten better! Her and Kevin are amazing at what they do. They're so friendly and take the time to get to know their customers and have great prices. It's cheaper if you bring cash because there's a little fee when you pay with a card. The inside is always clean and decorated for the holidays, too. Before coming to 2Q, I went to so many places in the area and nothing has beat the customer service and quality of this place. I recently went in to get a pedicure and I had asked for a deluxe pedicure with gel french tips in light blue with blueberry theme. I will insert an image of my reference picture below. I sat down in the chair and I noticed that the techs appeared to be reusing gloves (i am only saying this because they were inside out and they were turning them the correct way prior to putting them on). That made me a bit nervous but I trusted that they would do their best to keep their clients safe. My pedicure started and then I overheard the manager talking about their "hard gel" services and I really wanted to try it out at their salon because I've done hard gel at other salons previously and I loved it. So I had asked if I could add on a hard gel manicure. I was very excited because I was going to have a fresh set for my best friend's baby shower later that afternoon. I had spent a long time growing out my nails which has been a very difficult and tedious process for me. I have also spent a great deal of time taking care of my toe nails so that they do not get too long or ingrown. I hadn't touched my toe nails or finger nails in about a month in anticipation of getting a new set professionally done, so I wanted to be sure there was a good foundation. My pedicure was going well when my manicure was started simultaneously. I previously had hard gel on my nails and the tech placed the soak off with acetone and tried taking it off almost immediately and drilling down the gel in between and placing the cotton with acetone on the nail beds, causing my nails to burn and become sensitive and super thin after I worked so hard to grow them out (which has never happened to me during a salon manicure). This made me very sad and I let the tech know but she proceeded to drill instead of just waiting a few more minutes for the gel to soften. When it came to the filing, I had to keep asking for corrections throughout the entire process and I felt terrible because I am normally never one to complain but the mistakes were excessive. My nails were extremely uneven and I brought this to her attention and she said that it had already been "taking too long" which confused me because I thought I was paying for the service so I would have liked to not be rushed. She did not end up fixing the shape and the designs were half assed. :( They charged $10 extra for french tip and $2 for each design but I definitely do not think this was worth an extra $12, I used to do my own nails and I rarely ever go to salons so I was excited to treat myself. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed in the service. I had to ask for several corrections throughout the manicure and at one point I just got tired of pointing things out and having nothing done about it. When it came to the hard gel application, I was waiting for it to happen and it did not. The tech was just applying layers and layers and layers of this clear gel coat and then proceeded to paint over it, which is definitely not hard gel. The tech also began to rush toward the middle of the service when everyone else went on what seemed to be a lunch break, and she cut one of my fingers really bad and it's still in immense pain 3 days later. I also ended up getting THREE toe nail infections from the pedicure. I did not have any pain or ingrown toe nails before this pedicure and 3 days later it hurts to even put on my shoes for work, and I'm a nurse, so I walk around A LOT and require close-toed shoes. At the end of the service, I ended up showing the manager the cut on my finger and he sprayed it with alcohol to "clean" it and sent me on my way. He even closely examined the nails and said they were "cute" but I feel like he saw that they were bad and just didn't want to say anything. I felt guilty asking for a discount but I don't think I should have had to. All in all I was not going to complain but considering the infections, the cut on my finger, and the fact that I walked in with enough length and thickness for my original design that I requested, i'm very disappointed with this salon, its cleanliness, and the tech's willingness to make corrections that I am paying hard-earned money for. I literally walked out and started crying because I had no words but i'm not sure why I felt so guilty speaking up for myself since I was charged $120 for this. Anyway, I REALLYYY hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. it literally ruined my whole day :( update: it is now 4 days later and there is now PUSS leaking out from how infected my toe got i am in so much pain side note: i appreciate the offer from the owner but i went to the doctor because of how much pain i was in and they put me on an anti fungal cream and said I shouldn't get another pedicure for at least two months until this heals :( even then i'm afraid to go back and im sure it's too late for a refund.

As much as I loved this place, when I got the nail powder dip it was great. I went there for 3 times at least and got the dip powder. The 4th time the owner suggested I get gel to last even longer but they lasted one week when I was getting the dip they lasted for at least 2 weeks and my nails grew.

I've been going to 2q nails for 2 years and Mary never disappoints me the best nail tech ever and Kevin is always polite and I always feel welcome they know how to take care of their customers percent happy every time I leave from there . Mary did a set on me and looks fabulous.

I gave 2 stars. First time here was taken right away. Got a full set lady kept trying to get me to do the more expensive set was 85 dollars .no thanks . Got a regular full set she said it would be 25 plus 5 dollars off. I said cool. I sat down didn't talk much . The place only had 2 customers. 2 others came in after 45 mins being there . Then she started to rush doing my nails hurting me. Kept twisting my hand back and fourth. I paid as soon as I sat down. Maybe they don't trust their customers. Idk but after being told a price charged me 6 dollars extra mm This place is just horrible oh btw the "20" cents to use card is actually 1 dollar. This is my first time here and definitely not my last. I've been to MANY nail salons trying to find a good place that's attentive to their customers and actually do a good job without rushing and I haven't found any until now. I walked in seeing if they accept walk-ins and I sat down for probably 15 min before they helped me.Kevin the owner was so nice and actually SCRUBBED my feet and his wife Mary ended up ding my French tip and was really considerate on if the line was too thin or thick and just checking in on me and making sure I liked it. read more

Kevin & Mary did an excellent job on my manicure and pedicure! They recently took over the business and made sure I felt comfortable as soon as I got there. Kevin explained the prices (which are very reasonable) and Mary assured I was happy with my manicure. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for people that are friendly and charge a reasonable amount for their services! Oh and for my pedicure Kevin made sure to press some of the pressure points on my feet with an acupuncture tool and it was amazing! My feet felt so relaxed afterwards! Came in here as an emergency as I was going I'm on a weekend getaway, I walked in and they took me in pretty quickly, they were very nice and the pic is a week after service still looks good diamonds still On , price was reasonable, only thing was I wanted super sharp stilettos on 2 fingers and they weren't sharp just pointy I kept saying sharp ..but It's ok Im a picky person I usually get so much bling but they were very cute . read more

Really bad experience. Kevin kept calling me momma in front of my boyfriend the entire time which I find it very disrespectful and unprofessional and he made me feel very uncomfortable the entire time. He first started on my boyfriend's pedicure and then left him unattended/unfinished to do my pedicure. Kevin then proceeded to do "reflexology" on me which caused me a lot of pain. He was so rough and harsh that I thought he was going to break my foot. He kept telling how he's cleaning out my liver but I'm here to get a pedicure not clean my liver. He pulls out this wood stick and starts pressing it against my foot, again with his reflexology. I'm observing my boyfriend's pedicure and notice the lady that took over for him puts like 3 different lotions on my boyfriend, at the same time. My boyfriends legs looked they were rolled in flour for a few hours. I can keep going, it's crazy! Kevin is so unprofessional, absolutely horrible experience. He kept saying I hope you don't leave me a bad review for everything I'm saying, I can see why. By the end of it I was in shock on how Kevin is still in business. read more

This was my first time ever getting my nails done and the customer service was amazing!! Kevin was so kind and greeted both me and brother in a well manner. Mary had done my nails and she did an amazing job. She let me look at my nails after every step to make sure that I liked them or if they needed any changes. The overall process of getting my nails done was fairly quick and the price was great. Additionally, the quality of the nails is great and they lasted for more than a month. If you are looking to get your nails done I would definitely recommend coming to 2Q they have lots of colors and designs that they can do for you! I can't wait to go back :) read more

I would give them 10 stars if i could! i was referred to this Nail Salon by a friend. I am so glad that I came to the salon because Kevin did wonders The entire service. The customer service is extremely welcoming, and they are very clear about the pricing (which is extremely reasonable). I had gone to a previous salon that had given me an awful toe fungus, and Kevin was able to take care of me and help heal my toes. He made the entire experience so comfortable and didn't make me feel bad/embarrassed for coming in with an infection. He made sure I didn't feel any pain, and was attentive & that I was satisfied at the end of the service. I will be returning and making this permanent Nail Salon, all the way from Riverside but the drive to see Kevin & Mary is completely worth it. I am thankful to have come across a salon that respects their clients as well as make sure that they maintain cleanliness. It honestly felt like I had known them, it really was an amazing experience they really know what they're doing, and you can tell they really care about the services they provide. My mom will be going tomorrow to treat her toes as well! We are very excited to have found a new nail spa thank you Kevin read more

Best service from any nail salon I have ever been to. Contacted them though yelp for an appointment and they were very responsive and was able to accomadate my request. First you check in on a tablet. Then go to the waiting area on the side and get pleasantly welcomed by the owner. He explains his process and services. Then they lead you to your station and start your service. They had hooks for your purse, set up my massage chair and always asked if we were ok or needed anything. The staff was very friendly and met every one of my needs. I would make this my regular salon from now on. read more

Hi my name is Kevin I am the new owner of 2Q nails spa. Since 05/01/2022 I just recently relocate to this area and I have to say this is a beautiful and calm area. The people here are so welcoming and lovely. I really appreciate all the hospitality of the people here. I am passionate about my job. I ended up waiting about an hour while staff kept going back and forth, clearly frustrated about who was going to deal with my nail. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Eventually, a different technician took over, and the service was rough and painful. She was pulling my hand, filing aggressively on the sides, and it actually hurt. The nail was done carelessly and didn't even match the rest of my set. On top of that, the attitude was obvious. Between the tone, looks, and the way they were going back and forth in their language, it was clear I was being treated like an inconvenience instead of a paying customer. Don't assume customers don't notice just because you're speaking another language. After years of loyalty, this was extremely disappointing. I felt disrespected and unwelcome. They lost a long-time customer.

I came by after work today and all they're doing is arguing with me. They said it's been two weeks. It has not been two weeks. They don't know how to count. I pulled up my credit card statement to Show when the charge was and they just want to sit there and argue. They don't make any sense they don't understand anything you're saying and they want to throw it back on you that I should come back in 2-3 days this is just a bunch of bullshit !! They do shitty work as it is! Do not come here; look at past pictures that have been posted. They are horrible.

I have a conference next week and I'm very embarrassed about these nails... (yes, they had me pay full price; mani and 2 pedis $108)

My friend got acrylics with cat-eye polish and they look FANTASTIC. I will note that the color books are labeled with the same numbers for different colors in different books, so be sure to show your nail tech the exact book/color to prevent mix ups! Since Mirai does not offer acrylic nails, I agreed to try their Gel-X service. My natural nails were cut down in preparation for the application. What should have been a routine appointment turned into a nearly four-hour ordeal. The Gel-X application alone took approximately three hours, followed by another hour for a basic pedicure. For the amount of time spent and the price charged ($130 before tip), I expected a much better result. The nails are uneven, overly thick, and have an unnatural appearance. Several nails curve dramatically downward, creating a claw-like look rather than the clean, natural shape Gel-X is known for. Looking underneath the nails, there are noticeable gaps and inconsistencies in the application. I left feeling disappointed instead of happy with the finished product. The most frustrating part is that I paid a premium price and invested half my day, only to come home considering removing the nails myself. I rarely leave negative reviews, but when a service costs this much and takes this long, the quality should reflect it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Gel-X service at Mirai. I genuinely wish them well, but I will not be returning.

This joint is amazing! I don't live here I'm from Columbus Ohio but my entire family lives here and one of my sisters lives right next to the shopping center where this place is at. I love the fact that we can walk there every summer we come we go there and get our pedicures my daughter and I. I recently got my eyelash extensions with Chanel she is amazing she walked me through the entire process step by step since it was my first time I was bit nervous but she definitely made me feel so comfortable and made me feel good about the decision i had made. there is just something about an establishment that has genuine customer service. it just makes the whole experience worth it , And I mean this when I say that their customer service is on point. kevin the manager makes you feel like you really matter and was very thorough in explaining the different services they offer which I have never experienced with any other salons until coming here. They really focus on the customer and making sure we have the best and most comfortable experience when coming to their salon. I will be only coming to them from now on for my nails. After leaving last weekend i broke a nail But once i called Kevin and let him know he got me in as quick as possible, fixed it at no charge checked the others to make sure it wouldn't happen again and even spent his time on changing the color to my liking. Kevin understood what it is i wanted and even mixed some colors around to get the perfect shade as my reference photo. I've done my own gel nails and pedicures for years, I'm picky about nails. I had the pedicure and gel manicure done. This is a simple, clean shop. The girls are sweet, not pushy about extras. They take pride in their work and the end result was more than I expected. I loved that the girls take time with the details, making sure your comfortable. Happy girl here, I found my nail girls!
