Birria rice bowl with mango lemonade
    Kristine S.

The rice bowl was just okay. Can definitely taste the Vietnamese inspiration for the beef Birria. Rice was a too mushy for my liking. Service was quick. Since it was quite hot during the day, the mango lemonade was refreshing. A tad more mango would have made it perfect. But I did like it wasn't sweet.

The Quesabirria taco is a must try. The corn tortilla was crunchy with little burnt spots that added a yummy toasty flavor. The meat was also very tasty and well seasoned. Adding the consomme just put this taco to the next level. Beefy flavored consomme with a slight sweetness to it. Not stingy on the cheese. Full on burst of flavors. Cilantro and onions to top it off. Didn't take long to get the food.

    Pork belly

Got the pork belly rice plate while at a fair. Was reasonably priced and super yummy! Sauce not too sweet and the pork belly was crispy but melted in your mouth at the same time. Was enough food to keep me full the whole time there. The staff was also very efficient and nice.

Had the fine experience of trying out this food truck at a festival in Cupertino's Memorial Park! There was a long line ahead of me and many food trucks out there, but I chose this spot because they had Vietnamese-Mexican fusion with their birria tacos of Vietnamese beef! Great looking food truck that catches the eye with its bright colors. They have lumpia, chicken tenders and fries, variety of hand crafted fruit drinks, and more! I placed my order and it was around $15 for the tacos and about an 8-10 minute wait. I was super surprised and impressed by the short wait time. The tacos themselves were gorgeous and came with a side sauce of birria to dip the tacos in and a lemon wedge for extra seasoning. Awesome presentation with the golden crisp shell, dark brown meat, gooey cheese, and sprinkled green onions. The first bite and all the bites were heavenly, so much crunch from the crispy taco shell, the succulent juices from the meat, and to add to that, the rich taste of birria!! All of it was delicious and an A+ experience!! Don't miss out on this food truck!

They mostly move around doing events and catering, but I had the opportunity to try these guys at the recent Cupterino Cherry Blossom Festival at the end of April. I had already scoped them out for a previous event...so I was stoked to finally get to try them out after all! Prices are at a premium, but even if it weren't a festival this stuff is definitely worth it. Even though we just got a small sample of their stuff, it was all fantastic and I'd definitely hit 3 Brothers Kitchen up again. ==Quesabirria Tacos - 5/5 Advertised as having vietnamese beef, they definitely live up to the fusion hype. Heavenly rich and extremely juicy, with a delicious birria dipping broth and a homey mouthfeel. Like seriously, the broth was remarkably drinkable like a pho broth. Tacos were also quite crunchy, yet while being very flavorful (I'd guess they might've been deep fried by their hollow crunch). Presentation was also quite vibrant; my photos were shoddy but it's still rather eye popping. ==Jalapeno poppers - 5/5 Rich and creamy with plenty of cream cheese filling. Definitely not particularly spicy for those concerned. Nice and crisp shell and positively popping (pun fully intended). Comes down to just over a dollar each, so a nice tasty snack for those on the move.

3 Brothers Kitchen food truck pulled up to Enchant in San Jose's earthquake stadium. Their line moved quickly, food is delicious, quantity was reasonable, and I was super happy for it. Only downside was it was pretty pricey with most of the dishes being $17-20 and a side of fries alone is $10. But with that being said, this was one of three food trucks at an already expensive event so I didn't mind, although if I was simply looking for lunch on a standard day those prices would make me look elsewhere. Their Birria tacos were my favorite although their chili fries and regular fries are pretty good too. I do not recommend the lumpia simply because they give very small portions of that and it is not worth the price

I've always heard about this truck, and I'm so glad I found them at the Flea! We tried the fusion birria, which was the tacos with cilantro and onions, with the dipping sauce being very similar to pho broth, if not actually it. It worked, what can I say -- I really liked the combination and the birria was cooked really well. Definitely want to come across them again to see what else they offer, so I definitely recommend trying it when you 'em!

I was so excited to try 3brotherskitchen at 626 night market (Bay Area). In queso didn't know, let's taco bout this combo I never knew I needed! bo'rria tacos filled with vietnamese braised beef with bun bò hue consommé. "bò" is beef in vietnamese. bun bò hue is another popular vietnamese noodle soup (not just pho). + birria tacos is mexican dish. I want to consommé all the tacos!! So good and worth it!

    QuesaBorria Trio
    Michelle R.

Tried out their food truck during the Fremont Street Eats. Ended up ordering the QuesaBorria trio and lumpias. QuesaBorria Trio (5/5): $15 for just 3 tacos but they were definitely delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful. This come with a Vietnamese style broth and house salsa. The broth was a little bit salty but the lime helped with the flavor. I love the salsa. It tasted really fresh and good. Wish they provided more of it. Lumpias (5/5) $8: I think this came with about 8 pieces of pork lumpias. These were the not mini sized lumpias. They were the regular sized ones. These were good too! Overall, food was great and service was friendly and quick. Looking forward to trying the other dishes.

I get excited wondering what I'm going to eat when I come across gatherings of food trucks.. So when I came across this truck, I figured why not give it a try. I had their braised beef, garlic noodles, and mint coleslaw. Such a good decision! Tasty and delicious! Looking forward to trying other dishes!

POV: you're eating Bo'rria tacos @ PayPal stadium

Tried this food truck at the Earthquakes games. The Quesa Bo'rria tacos are such a special treat. It tastes like pho on a cheesy taco. Wish they had a physical location so I could easily find those tacos again. Unreal and a must try if you're a foody.

As a foodie who's tried a bunch of fusion foods, I know sometimes clashing flavors and cultures can make a dish a hit or miss but when I saw Pho Birria (Bo'rria Trio) on the menu, I knew I had to try. Total of $16 for 3 birria tacos with consomme-- a little pricy but each taco was packed with TENDER (had to emphasize this), flavorful meat. The consomme was really flavorful but not overpowering when dipped. The pho flavor was strong and delicious but was a little salty so I put the limes to good use! It was a delicious twist on birria tacos-- it exceeded my expectations & is a must try! I also tried their pork belly fries. The fries were the best I've had in a while, they were breaded and were perfectly fried & crispy. Totally pleased with my experience here, if you ever see this truck around give it a try!

    Fusion birria tacos
    Raena F.

First tried this food truck at the Dublin Festival and was hooked instantly. I love Birria tacos but the Asian fusion twist on these fusion birria tacos is chefs kiss. My kids always says it smells like pho but in the form of tacos. We've also tried their lumpias (we are part Filipino so it was a must) they were delicious and we tried the fusion ramen which smelled like pho in ramen with a twist as well. Very flavorful. It's a bit pricey than I wish for two tacos but worth it in my opinion. The line at this food truck is either long or short I have yet seen an in between. The the workers are quick and very accommodating. I will for sure be following for the next time they are in the tri valley area for my fusion birria tacos.

Final Thoughts: 4.33/5…read more They were our caterer for a work party. This is a food truck and they seem to have everything ready to be served to us. Asian fusion foods are typically my go-to choice and so I was very excited that they were providing us food today. Food: Garlic Fried Chicken Bowl: 4.3/5 The sauce on this is divine with the chicken. It's like an unagi sauce with garlic in it. It has some saltiness, sweetness, and that umami flavor. Garlic taste and scent is present, but not too overpowering, which I really enjoyed. That flavor is great, but some places really overdo it for me. Just a personal preference though. For the chicken itself, it's very tender and juicy on the inside and still has some of that nice crunch on the outside. Perhaps this is because the cut of meat is the chicken thigh. It's not super crispy because I don't believe this is being fried to order for us. Seems to be food held in a warmer until its ordered. Kimchi was the side that they had provided with this dish and I am here for that. Some people aren't the biggest fan of this and I saw that from the looks my coworkers gave it. Personally, very much enjoyed it though. That sourness and spice from the kimchi just balances out this bowl really well. The veggies are nice and crispy. Gives it that freshness. Also, very slight detail and addition, but I always enjoy the sesame seeds and furikake sprinkle as a garnish. There's a nice nuttiness to it that they provide as a simple garnish. Spicy Tuna Poké: 4.0/5 This item was alright. The flavor was also really good, but I did get tired of eating just one type of poke protein. Typically when I go to get poke, it's 2 to 3 scoops of different proteins with various sauces to change up the flavor. I did get tired of this one after a few bites. The flavor of this item was very good though. There's a nice kick from it and the flavor tastes like a mix of kewpie mayo, soy sauce, sriracha, and sugar. Very simple, but you can't go wrong with those flavors. For the side, they added seaweed salad. Again, not your average side dish. Personally, I enjoyed it, but it might not be a common or familiar side dish for other individuals. It has a nice sweetness and nuttiness to it. For texture, there's a nice bite to it, which is ncie since the tuna is very soft and doesn't contribute much to the texture component. Menu: Small Their menu seems quite limited, but again, that is normal for a food truck, I believe. The items they provide do it just fine for me. I appreciate that they also have an option for the vegetarians. The menu we were provided was limited to 4 items, which is fine since the scale of this party wasn't anything too wild and we were able to satisfy everyone with what they provided. --------- Quality: Alright The quality of the food seems OK. It came out within a few minutes for us and I don't think it takes just a few minutes to fry that piece of chicken. I could be wrong though, so no one quote me on that. Just an observation. Not the highest expectations because their limited to the space and area in general. The product they provide is very good though. Overall, for something that has raw seafood in it, it seemed quite fresh and tasty. The items aren't made to order either and it's more assemble and serve to order, but again, they seem to be making it work with the product that they are selling. Price: Estimated Because this was a catering event, I am actually unaware of how much my administrator paid for the food. What I know is that she paid for a certain amount of bowls. From the looks of this item though, I want to estimate the price of each bowl being around $16 to $20 depending on the food item provided. Seems quite average for a bowl of food these days. Service: Quick and fast Because most of the food is already prepared and ready, the interaction with them itself is very limited. They took our order and provided us with the food. Nothing too significant to note and that is to be expected with the food truck. They were very sweet though and explained the menu items to be when I had a question. Ambiance: Simple and cute food truck The design on their food truck is so cute. The riceball is my favorite because it has this very cute face and just looks darling to me. The outside has a simple design with the name and logo on top and then perhaps some of the food items they provide written on the bottom section of the truck. Doesn't seem like anything too fancy, but simplicity is best for me. Location/Parking: Wherever they travel and navigate to Because they're a food truck, they can drive to you, which is really convenient. On Yelp, it states that their located on 36 Commercial Street in downtown, which might be where their truck is serving most of the time. Again, it is a food truck though, so they have the ability to drive to you and travel around to their customers, which is quite convenient is reaching a broader group of people.

This was my very first visit to El Halal Mexican Restaurant in the heart of downtown Willow Glen,…read moreand I've been wanting to stop by for a while. I finally decided to give it a try after hearing about the restaurant from food reviewer Dave fiore text. As someone who absolutely loves tacos and is always on the hunt for great local taco spots, I was excited to see how this place compared to some of my favorites. I ordered four different tacos, and overall, they were pretty good. They weren't bad by any means, but they also didn't quite blow me away. The meat was cooked well, the tortillas were fresh, and the tacos had good flavor. The salsa was decent too, although I personally prefer something with a little more kick. Everyone has different tastes, so this is just my opinion. One thing I really appreciated was how clean and organized the restaurant was. You can tell they take pride in keeping the dining area nice and welcoming. The staff was friendly, and my food came out quickly. It's always a good sign when a restaurant pays attention to both cleanliness and customer service. I've eaten at a lot of taco places throughout the Bay Area, so I naturally compare every new place to some of my favorites. While El Halal Mexican Restaurant didn't make the top of my list, I still had a good experience and I'm glad I finally gave it a shot. Not every restaurant has to be your favorite to be worth visiting. I also like supporting family-owned businesses because I know how much hard work goes into running a local restaurant. They deserve credit for creating a clean, welcoming place and serving quality food. Will I come back? Maybe. If I do, I'd probably try something different on the menu instead of the tacos. Sometimes a restaurant's best dish isn't the first thing you order, and I'd be interested in seeing what else they have to offer. Overall, I'd give El Halal Mexican Restaurant a solid 4 out of 5 stars. It was a good experience, I'm happy I finally got to try it, and if you're in the Willow Glen area, it's worth stopping by and deciding for yourself.

I went downstairs (we were at Valley Medical Hospital) to get Ronnie since he wanted to come to visit Gavin, and so since we saw food trucks, we figured we should grab lunch. + Classic Chicken Sandwich for Gavin + Chicken Tenders and Fries for Ronnie + Nashville Hot Chicken for me (opted for spice level 5) Food did not take long at all. They accept cards. You don't have to tolerate/like spicy foods to enjoy a meal here. The chicken was not greasy and was crispy and juicy as well. Fortunately, a little after we devoured our meals (Gavin barely finished half of his), we were given the discharge approval since he was able to hop/use the walker and use the wheelchair. Different food trucks line up the drop-off area, convenient for staff and visitors to fuel up. It's never fun to be at the hospital. The hospital displays the QR code so you can see which trucks will be there, so you can plan ahead.

The husband and I came here for lunch on a weekend. Parking wasn't too bad, but because it is located in downtown area, expect some challenges. There was a line out the door when we arrived, but it moved at a quick pace. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side with limited seating indoor and out. The husband and I ordered the Grilled Cheese Nashville Hot and Chicken Tenders. The Grilled Cheese was tasty with a nice balance of heat and tanginess from their slaw. The Chicken Tenders were appetizing, but it wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped for. It does come with sauce on the side, which helped. Staff were nice and service was efficient despite the growing line. Although a bit pricey, I think their chicken is good and worth trying out if you're in the area.
